#8 of Time, Confusion, and the Feelings that Arise

Well here is my first upload in far too long! This one runs a tad dry at the end but to be honest I had a bit of fun putting this one together! I do hope you all enjoy and as always comments and critiques are welcome and appreciated! :3

Flynn breathed deep the crisp morning air. Morning stiffness melted from his joints as he transitioned from one form to another. This was truly the most precious time of the day for the collie. Peace filled his mind and his head emptied as he allowed his body to run on pure motor memory to go through his routine. From Pi to Heng he felt his body move as if of its own accord through the Five Elements. Every movement purposeful as sweat began to dampen his fur. An hour went by, then two as he practiced his forms and stances. The final half hour consisted of training with the spear. It was a bit long to be of practical use, though a spear in general would not be seen as very practical in the majority of situations these days. No, this 3.8 meter arm was solely for training purposes. It pulled out every bit of effort the collie possessed as he moved through the forms his Shifu had taught. It was intense, tiring work which filled his soul with joy as he slammed the butt of his weapon to the ground and bowed his head respectfully signaling the end of his session. He was drenched in sweat and even his tail dripped from his effort. Sighing, he ran a hand towel over his face and muzzle before grabbing his long abandoned shirt and turning to return to his home. It was time for a shower before he was forced to head to another day of class.

As much as the canine enjoyed his workouts, there was something euphoric about a hot shower after hard work. The cleansing of his fur as the water ran through caused him to moan softly. His tail swayed happily as he ran a forepaw though his hair. Hours could be lost standing in this warm cocoon of a shower, yet time was not something he could waste so easily. There was breakfast to be had and his stomach was more than happy to remind him of its emptiness. The two furs stirring in the kitchen looked up as he entered.

"Well, look who decided to join us for breakfast. Have fun with your exercise this morning?" Emrys smiled and nodded towards a plate of fresh bacon still sizzling on the counter.

"Always. As hard as it is to get up that early there is nothing like working up a good sweat to start the day off." Flynn took a bite, savoring the flavor as he hopped onto a nearby barstool.

Brandon grinned at Emrys, his mate eyeing him as if reading his mind. "I can't deny that working up a sweat in the morning can be an intense feeling." The Jindo blushed and huffed as he busied himself with his cooking. "By the way, Flynn, you have got to teach me how to use a spear like that. It was magnificent. Remind me never to piss you off." His tone was playful but his smile was sincere. Brandon could be a sarcastic one but he always let you know when he was serious.

Flynn shrugged and smiled, "Well it takes a lot of time and practice. I have been at it since I was a pup and I still am far from mastering the techniques. My training is unfortunately on hold until my Shifu can return from overseas..."

"Shifu huh? So you really have been at this a while. It is nice to see someone who actually takes martial arts training seriously these days. I am getting sick and tired of all these idiots who claim to be training for mixed martial arts. With the exception of a few they are a bunch of idiots who are gluttons for punishment. Brain damage is only a solid hit away right?" He chuckled and ran a forepaw through his dark hair.

"I've never been one to get into that kind of stuff. Violence for the sake of violence is not something many martial arts agree with."

"How about we discuss something a bit more interesting then shall we?" Emrys cheerful, lilting voice chimed in. "Flynn how are you feeling this morning? You seem to be handling things a bit better."

"Yeah he is. Caim must have worked you over quite Ooof..." The shepherd grinned, rubbing his side where his mate had given a stiff elbow.

"Sorry Flynn..."

"No worries. Actually I am feeling surprisingly calm all things considered. I know it all just happened yesterday, but I guess I have been preparing myself for this for longer than I anticipated. I feel more relieved than anything."

"You have never been one to dwell that's for sure. I am glad to know you won't be moping around the house all day like some sick puppy."

"Yeah, I have no intention of that happening." In fact bringing up Caim had brought forth strange feelings within the collie. The night before had been well out of the ordinary. He and Caim had spent a good hour in one another's arms. Their lips met and tongues danced for what seemed like an eternity. Frankly, Flynn could not have cared how long it lasted. It was wonderful, passionate, and reminded him of better days. Days when he felt wanted and necessary in someone's life. Though looking back, maybe those feelings were a bit improper. The collie doubted that Caim had any intention of pursuing anything deeper. The Ocelot had left rather abruptly after, a bit distraught even. Had the canine done something wrong? "Have you heard from Caim this morning?"

Brandon shook his head, "Nah. I think he has a free day today, so he will probably be curled up asleep until at least mid-morning. I don't think I have ever seen him awake before 9."

"Oh..." Flynn smiled to hide his concerned thoughts. It was not that he expected the feline to want anything more. In fact, Flynn found it odd that he himself thought of more. Yesterday he had lost Kat, and that same night made out with someone new. A male feline, which he had just met that same night. Flynn never admitted his curiosity about the same sex. That side of him had only made itself known to him after he and Kat had begun dating. Emrys had been dating his brother, Conall, and the two did not always take care to keep their relationship quiet. Numerous times Flynn walked into his bathroom to find Emrys showering off after one of their escapades. Each time Flynn felt his heart race and his loins stir as he quickly backed out of the room. It was an instinctual reaction of course, but the feelings that came with seeing the two together were anything but instinctual. In fact, on occasion he had wondered what it would be like if he had been together with Emrys instead of Kat. Each time these thoughts crossed his mind, a panic would set in and the collie would find solace in the arms of his mate. Kat never knew why, she just accepted that Flynn had his moments of depression. That is what happened when your parents all but abandoned you for work, right?

Flynn ate quickly and left the other two still finishing their meal. It was early enough for him to dally around on his way to class, and warm enough that the long walk would be enjoyable. This would be a perfect time to think of things he had been avoiding while around Emrys and Brandon. Caim was finally able to be the forefront of his thoughts. Now was a good time to think of how to approach the ocelot.

"Do you suppose anything will actually happen between those two? I know the look Flynn had when you brought Caim up. He has to be wondering the same." Emrys stared up at his mate, nestling into his lap happily.

"Hmm... Caim can be an odd one in that respect, even for a feline. The fact that he left in such a hurry does leave me wondering though."

"Oh? What do you think it means? Was it just a clever plan of escape or did Flynn do something wrong? Awkwardness never seems to elude him."

The shepherd shook his head, brow furrowing and ears twitching as they do when he is deep in thought. Emrys always found this particular look ridiculously adorable on his mate. He smiled softly and leaned into the warmth of the shepherd's black furred chest.

"I don't think Caim meant to get so flustered. I received a text from him late last night stating that he hated me for introducing him to Flynn. The fact that he used Flynn's name instead of using some playful derogatory means that there is more there than he was expecting. I think our little ocelot has fallen for the collie, and it scares him. I told him Flynn was the one he needed to talk to, not me. I sent his number to add some motivation."

"What? Why be afraid of falling for someone? Has he never been in love before?"

Brandon let out a startlingly loud laugh. Emrys found himself staring awkwardly as his mate gathered his composure once more. "I'm sorry... It's just that you have to know Caim like I do. He has never been one to fall in love. His suitors all fell for him, yet they were each cast aside as soon as he became bored with them. Even when he and I tried dating I could tell it would go no further than physical attraction.... And I should have said that a bit differently...."

The jindo grinned and shook his head. "Nothing to worry about love. You are mine. Who you dated in the past changes nothing about that."

The shepherd smiled and poked his mate's nose lovingly before pulling him in to press their muzzles firmly together. Their tongues intertwined and they each welcomed the other's warmth. After a moment Emrys pulled away. "You know... I don't have class until this afternoon. I think I won't mind getting another shower before then..."

Eagerly the shepherd stood, mate still in arms as he made his way to the bedroom. Laying Emrys onto the bed he climbed over him, kissing and licking softly along the jindo's body as he slowly stripped away the slender canine's clothing. He paused momentarily to gaze upon his mate's petite frame. The jindo's blonde fur seemed to glow as the sun shone through a nearby window bathing him in its light. The white countershade on his bottom jaw ran the length of his chest and stomach giving a stark contrast that was almost entrancing. His small hindpaws slid up the shepherd's leg, snapping him out of his trance.

"As much as I love looking at you standing over me like this, and trust me I do," Emrys reached up and jerked the shepherd down on top of him. "I believe my need for you is beginning to overwhelm me." He grinned as his forepaw wrapped around the larger canine's sack. His mate moaned softly as he fondled the large orbs. Emrys could feel his mate grow almost immediately in his paw. The feeling was enough to make his body tingle as his own erection reached its peak. "Seems the feeling is mutual..."

Brandon gave a toothy grin as he grabbed the jindo's ankles and bent the canine almost in half. Emrys moaned as the shepherd ran the length of his member across his tight hole. Pre began to soak the surrounding fur and Brandon made sure to properly attend to his mate's entrance as he continued his tease. Muzzles met once more in a dance of love and lust. Tongues twisted and turned as the two canines pressed firmly against one another. The shepherd's tail swayed to the beat of his mate's heart and his forepaws found their way to a stiff canine cock. He maneuvered his own to meet the other and softly began stroking them both as the smaller canine quivered at the touch.

The room smelled of musk, sweat, and a small cinnamon candle lit on the nearby desk. Temperatures rose as the two lover's found themselves wanting more and more. Their breathing grew heavy as Brandon continued his caress of their cocks. Emrys began to squirm, whimpering to signal the approach of his climax. The shep smiled lovingly as he closed his eyes, letting himself feel the jolt of energy that came with his mates' orgasm. Emrys scent filled the air as did the combination of soft moans and panting. Brandon felt his own end growing closer when his forepaw was halted by another.

The blushing jindo gave him a lusty smile, his voice flowing with desire. "Not yet you don't. I am not done with you yet." With that the shepherd felt his body fall as the slender canine rolled him onto his back. Emrys could be surprisingly forceful at times, which made him all the more desirable. The jindo climbed on top of his mate, straddling him with a familiar look that set the shepherd's heart aflutter. He lowered slowly onto the throbbing shaft underneath him, moaning loudly as it pressed deep into him. The feeling of such utter fullness brought him close to orgasm once more. Thoughts vanished as instinctual rhythmic motion set in. Slow, steady, and purposeful movements brought the sounds of their lovemaking to another level. The once quiet panting evolved into a melody of moans and whispered "I love yous". They were the only two furs in existence, and at this point nothing else mattered.

Emrys let his body move of its own accord as he focused in on the sounds emanating from his lover. Brandon's moans were beautiful, his words breath-taking as he whispered between needed breaths. Sweet-nothings had never meant so much before him. This was it, this was what love was supposed to be. Two furs giving the entirety of themselves over to the other. The smaller canine felt a pressure grow inside of him as his hole was stretched further. Brandon's knot was filling him, sliding in and out as he continued to ride his mate. The only male ever to knot him, the only male that ever would. It was at this exact moment of thought, of clarity, that both reached an intense climax. Emrys felt himself being filled with his mate's seed. The fatigue in his body caused his arms to shake and he collapsed on top of the shepherd. Strong arms wrapped around him and held tightly. He breathed deeply in an attempt to slow his breathing. Brandon refrained from moving, choosing instead to shower his mate with tender kisses as he continued to hold tightly. Emrys closed his eyes and allowed himself to drift, enjoying the tenderness of the moment. Living like this would be blissful. They would drive one another, giving strength and comfort as needed. Theirs was a love that would never falter, a love that could only grow.

Flynn stared awkwardly at the wrought iron gate before him. Phone in hand, the text still remained on screen as he checked the contents once more. Caim's message had come as a surprise. How did the ocelot even have the number? Mind adrift he soon realized how awkward it must look for him to be standing outside just staring in. At once he pressed the button on the intercom just to the right of the gate. The way creaked open on large hinges, beckoning him inside. What was he going to say? Was Caim just calling him over to chew him out? No matter what happened he would take what was said without a word in retort. It was odd, but he could feel something familiar within himself anytime Caim was brought to mind. One step to get himself moving and nothing would stop him from moving forward.

Caim met him at the door. "Welcome to my humble home. Please, come inside."

Flynn nodded and took a deep breath before stepping through the open door. The feline was being a bit cold, which did nothing to lessen the awkwardness of the meeting. Not wanting to prolong the silence, the collie chose a pre-emptive strike. "Listen Caim... I'm not sure what I did to anger you. I have replayed last night over and over again in my head yet I still am unable to come up with a reasonable answer. Whatever I did I really am sorry for it. I want you to know that I meant no offense..."

"Offense? Silly pup you did nothing to offend me. My reason for leaving so hastily was my own." Flynn noticed a tired look in the feline's eyes. Had he been up all night? "My reason for asking you over was actually to speak with you about that reason. Drink?"

"Water if you please." Flynn knew he would need it soon, seeing as his throat was already feeling dry.

"Make yourself comfy and I will be right back."

He watch the ocelot walk away as he sat on the nearest sofa. The way Caim swayed as he walked was mesmerizing. The tight shorts and half shirt only accentuated the feline's body. Flynn averted his gaze to try and avoid an awkward conversation later on. The layout of the room was spacious. Obviously there was no want for anything here. Yet even as lavish as it was the room still retained a comfortable feeling. He obviously had a lot to learn if he would ever be able to understand Caim. As if the thought itself summoned him, the feline strode in with a small smile. Flynn thanked him as he took a glass from the petite feline.

"Now then, I have something I need to say. I'm sure you have been able to tell what my night was like. I have never lost sleep over anything, much less over a male. At first I was angry at you for doing this to me. I was not sure what it was you had done, but I knew I was uncomfortable with the unfamiliarity. The more I thought, the more I came to realize why you seem to be so pervasive in my thoughts. I spent four hour trying to reason this conclusion away, yet I was unsuccessful. I need ot know just one thing, however. Am I doing this for nothing?"

Flynn cocked his head curiously. "Doing what?"

"You really are clueless... Flynn I feel that I actually want to spend more time with you. I want to get to know you, and in return I will allow you to get to know me. I just want to make sure that this is not for nothing before I make any more attempts to spend time with you..."

The collie's heart raced at the words. Did Caim really want to spend more time with him? Did this mean...? "I... would like nothing more than to get to know you better Caim."

"Good! In that case..." At this the two began a long discussion in an attempt to learn a bit more about one another. While Flynn struggle against the awkwardness of talking about himself, he was more than eager to hear Caim speak of his own self. The collie did not know what would come of these feelings he seemed to be developing, but at this point all he wanted was to be here. At this moment, he could not have been happier.
