I could see Link across the field all dressed up for the final day of school; the graduation. I saw my parents waving at me taking pictures, and the principle calling off names to come up. Me and Link finally came close to each other and he grabbed my hand whispering "Does it feel weird doing this?" I laughed a bit "Of course when I transferred here I would have never imagined doing any of this, but" I looked at Link and smiled "I'm so glad I stayed here with you." Link let go of my hand walking up shaking the principal's hand as he called my name "You did well keeping everyone alive." I smiled as he shook my hand I ran over to Link jumping on him, and he caught me giving me a big kiss. We watched the rest of our class go one by one until I saw Alice at the very end by herself. She turned to the crowd "Welcome parents and fellow classmates I am Alice Rose class president. Don't worry I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I'm happy to have met you all, and I feel like a better person because of it. That is all I have to say really well that and it's time to party seniors!" She raised her paw as fireworks appeared in the sky.

We got off the busses at what looks like to be a fair in the center of town. I kissed Link as he smiled. "Ready to have fun Master?" "Sure just let me go to the bathroom first." We held hands until we found it. "I'll be right back." I shut the door behind me. "You are going to pay for everything you have done Link!" I opened the door quickly not even using the restroom to see Link falling on the ground with what looks like a knife in his chest surrounded by a group of humans and furries. I reached out for him as they pushed me back "Get out of the way you freak." I pushed them aside going to Link feeling for his pulse, "Don't worry Neko I promised I will always be with you because I love you. Ne." his pulse stopped as people laughed. I didn't feel tears falling though, but I could feel my face beginning to smile. Why am I smiling Link just died. Link just died. It felt like I had no control over my own body anymore, but I did I can stop myself if I really want to. I looked at all of them smiling more as my shadow swirls up forming a gun in my hand. I fired in one of the human's face leaving no trace of a face as the others began to panic seeing his soul being ripped out of his body. I laughed a bit with a wicked smile "Will you die now? Or should I kill you?" I fired again at the lifeless body just for the fun of it. My entire shadow was now solely a gun. A few of began to run away as one took his stance to fight me. I laughed turning away firing at his shadow he didn't try to avoid it at all. "Haha, this is what you get." I turned around again walking passed him as his soul was drained into my gun. His shadow vanished with blood where it use to be at.

They all killed him. They all killed him. They all deserve to die. I dropped my gun letting my shadow reinfuse with me as it spiked away going to every possible shadow mixing itself with it. I followed my shadow with darkness following behind me draining all life that stood behind me. I don't even need to fire my gun to kill them all haha, and I all have to do is just walk. I could feel all these souls from the city enter my body with my shadow spreading faster and faster with each new soul it swallowed. "Neko!" I looked up to see my brother jumping down. "What are you doing!" "They deserve to die. They all killed Link. Now out of my way!" My shadows raised up striking at him like drills, but his did the same stopping my shadow. How can his shadows equal mine I have been draining more souls that he has I should be able to kill him! I stopped and began to fall down. "Woah there Neko, and don't worry when you wake up you will forget all about Link." James reached for my head as I felt deja vu "Big brother has this...happened before?" He stopped and looked away. "Yes." "I don't want to forget Link though." "Then I think you should know." I felt his lips on my head "I'm not your brother, but your shadow." I felt his arms vanish below me and hearing a faint yell from mom I think.

I opened my eyes seeing my old room. "What just happened?" I heard a knock at my door as it opened. "Oh good you are up my little star." Weird, why did I expect someone else? "Mom, I think I had the weirdest dream, but it didn't feel like one." She laughed a bit "But, it was just a dream sweety." I looked to my side looking at the empty space. "Link..." "What was that sweety?" I looked at her "Is Link really dead? Did I really kill all those people..." I looked down bring the pillow close. "It was just a dream." I looked at her again "I remember it all mom." She looked a bit shock then sighed sitting down at the bed. "We didn't look for his body we had to leave quickly, and we can't go back there." "Tell me everything mom, and don't hide anything from me now." "It is true I am your mother, and your father is your father, but your brother is just your shadow. You created him at a young age to protect yourself from pain. Your shadows are very powerful and unique. You've done this another time, but your memory of it has been removed. This is a given because you know this, but the more souls you consume the stronger you become. I don't know how many you have though." She brushed my hair and stood up. "There is more about you that even I and your father don't know about you though." She walked out quietly brushing my hair aside.

I looked outside seeing the new moon. I pushed the window open as my shadow raised up my back. "Link, are you out there?" My shadow ripped the back of my shirt showing black wings. "I used my power in secrets and ended up using it for darkness, but now I will use this power in view and save people." I jumped out with the wings spreading out letting me fly threw the sky. I flew higher up feeling the clouds on my face as i knew where I had to go.

I landed in front of the house I lived in. I opened the door seeing everything emptied out. I walked around as my wings slowly turned back into a shadow. I walked around seeing nothing every drawer empty. "Nothing here..." "Here." I turned around seeing Link's mom. "You came here to look for something of his to keep right?" I was a bit shocked she was here, but I nodded my head. "He told me if something ever happened to him to give you this." She placed something in my hands and smiled a bit. "You sure are something special to him." She turned around and walked away. I opened my hand seeing a necklace with a purple, and black jem. I smiled and turned it around seeing an engravement. "To the one I love Neko Hoshi." I laughed a bit and put it on. "We will be together Link." I will always be with you even if you are gone now. "Get out here you freak! We know you are in there! Get out here and die." I smiled a bit holding the necklace close "Course I am still a demon too." I smashed the window open jumping out as my shadow struck at them taking their souls. I grabbed the ledge as I looked down seeing all the bodies drop. "Time to move on." My shadow came up becoming wings again as I flew up.
