Chapter One:Destined Meeting

All of a sudden,you start falling,falling,then falling some more.It seems never ending until you see the jagged peaks of mountains poke the skyline.You start to wince,thinking about landing,how painful or life-threatening it must be to hit the ground now.You start to brace yourself,seeing how the trees seem to come closer and closer to you.~thud~You awake to what seems to be Mid-Evening.You were falling in morning,but it seems quite some time has gone by since you fell."Whoa...This looks nothing like the human world...".You look around,seeing no pollution that you would normally see from the human world.The trees looked to be quite old,and only a few of them cut.The mountain behind you looks un-mined,left in its most natural state.The water of the pristine,cerulean river was fresh,and cold looking.It was as if human civilization never existed,even the most ancient ones.You snap yourself out of your stupor to realize:_What am I going to eat...?How will i survive?What about shelter...?_You have not begun to think about the answer to those questions when you try to lift your arms,but you find them non-replying._I hope I didn't break them...Then I'm really going to die here._You try to lift them again,but only to gain the same results.You try to do this again,and again,Until you finally look down to see that you have no arms,Or even hands for that matter."My Arms!"you yell out in surprise.where your shoulders and arms should have been,were smooth,aqua-blue scales.

Scales?Humans don't have scales...We may have skin similar to scales,but there is a huge difference from us to reptiles.The scales were almost non visible,Being so finely together it took the most skilled eye to notice.You dismiss the thought from your head and try to get up on your legs and try to get a good look at the forestry around you,but they feel just as non-existent as your arms.You look down at them to see they also do not exist.Great,so I can't walk,I can't crawl.I could always make like a inchworm and chin my way out of here,But i cant feel my neck._You use your thigh muscles to roll your body over to the running river,and you get a good look at yourself.You see a small,blue snake with amber eyes and feathery ears staring back at you.You're confused at what you are at first,Then you remember your childhood,the pocket monsters you and your friends would play with. _Pokémon?The pokémon in particular you think you are is Dratini. _No wonder I don't have arms...Snakes slither right?So I've got to do that..._You start slithering around in circles,trying to get the hang of it,until you hear someone,or something coming toward you.

"You Look funny,wriggling around in circles like that"Said A yellow mouse who looked like he would come up to your kneecaps,had you been human."Dragon types are pretty rare around here,your not from here are you,you slither like a Caterpie that had one to many Lum berrys."He said trying to hide the laugh in his throught. You.You think weather or not you should tell him what you really are,If I tell him,He might be able to help me...whats the worst he could do?Laugh and move along?I think i should tell him."Yeah,your partially right,I came from the human world.I have no reason why or how I got here".He looks at you with a goofy grin,his eyes sparkling as if he was looking you over."I believe you,100%,I mean stranger things have happened".You look at him with a "Are you kidding me?" Face.Only to realize he was walking toward a cave.He stops and starts talking to himself out loud:"I'de never get through this cave by myself..I'm not strong enough..."He then sees you slither up behind him."Hey,Come with me?"He ask,his eyes pleading.You look at him for what feels like an eternity,until finally he gets impatient and says that time is running out and he grabbed you and pulled you by the tail into the cave entrance.

The Air inside was cold and dry,as if the river outside provided no help to the moisture inside,And the Mouse had let go of you,And Put on his most apologetic face yet."Sorry bout that,By the Way,Names Current,And you?".That was a good question...what WAS my name.How could i forget my name?That was so important...Ill just have to rename myself.Whats a good name....Luz...?means light in Spanish right?I kinda like that."My Names Luz..."you said,letting the word roll of your forked-tongue."What a nice name".Current said,turning his attention to the winding cavern ahead of him."This is a strange dungeon..."He started to examine the passage.It was dimly lit by cracks where the sun could shine through here and there,A Bagon strolled from the corner of the passage,saw Current,and bit him on his long-zig-zaging tail. "OWCH!". He cried out slamming the Bagon into the ground,and shocking it with a flurry of electricity until it passed out. "Hehe...,You Have to Do that sometimes...,well actually, alot." He said again with his too-cool-for-school attitude."Lets Go,we don't have much time before sundown"He then turned and started running on all fours deeper into the cave.

You have a hard time keeping up with him,your thighs almost giving out from the speed slithering.He occasionally glances back at you,seeing the fatigue in your face then he finally said."You look pretty light.wrap around my waist and ill carry you." he then got surprised as you got angry with him,speeding up your slithering toget in front of him."I'm more than capable of moving my body." That is until a Gothita ran into you and hit you with its stubby arms .You twist your body around to avoid a second attack,then shot a bluish fire at it and laughed as the little psychic ran away in flames."Nice Dragon Rage. normally it doesn't cause fires though...".Current said passing you by,smirking then continued again."I think I see the entrance"he then disappered as the sunlight swallowed him up,only for you to follow in suit.
