Early 16th Century Residence: Assassin's Guild of the Kingdom of Iresellia Overview:Render Gillian Williams, a.k.a, "Ghost" Williams is/was an assassin in Iresellia's guild of assassins; one of the first when it was established at the conclusion of the 17th century, some years after queen Lyria's death. With his father a wealthy businessman and researcher under, but secretly against the now dead queen, Render got his position in the guild rather easily, considering how highly ranked he was. His nickname, "Ghost" stemmed from his uncanny stealth, able to hide and sneak up on people very easily.Render, or "Ghost" appears as a blond monkey, in having smooth, flowy hair often tied up into a ponytail. His eyes appear to be a pale brown color on somewhat cold-looking eyes. His body is full of blond fur, and pale tan skin, with the tip of his tail being an almost bleach-white color. Despite wearing shoes, his feet, like those of a monkey, and are hand-like.Unlike conventions of the time, Render's cloths are consistent of simple pale yellow overalls, with a white, long-sleeve top under layering them. This is accompanied by calf-sized silver and black boots, a brown belt around his waist, to which holds his sword, white gloves, and the sword itself, which is a bar-hilted saber contained in a brown sheath, covered with platinum on the scabbard and tip. This is then topped with two rather large pouches on his belt, opposite sides of his sword.Personality wise, Render is a rather hard, cold, yet noble and bold character. He expresses to only spare time to things and people of interest, doing little for those outside of this judgment. However, whatever task he may have at hand, he typically sticks to it/them, regardless of what, and how difficult they are. Because of this as well, Render hardly interacts with anyone in a mutually relational way, it always alluding his will.History:Render Gillian Williams was the first and only child of his father, who is a businessman and researcher, formally under the service of former Queen Lyria. Because of this, Render was raised with a high amount of self and family standards in mind. At the age of 12, he got his first job as a printer, later moving to cadetship a year later on volition of his father. After years of military training and abuse, he graduated cadetship at the age 16.Not opting to join in the military, Render was insisted by his father to serve his country in some way. Render later filed into the guild of assassins about a few months later, feeling the role was simpler than military servitude. Because of his high-statured family, he quickly became a high-rank assassin, and within a couple years, became among the best in his
guild.As fate told, Render served as an assassin until he later in life decided to resign, living the rest of his life in secrecy. He supposedly was a head priest of one of the local churches during the period of his life. He was pronounced dead some 60 years later from an unknown natural cause.However, in a twist, Render appears to have been lost through time somehow, appearing upon a new, unknown world.Weapon: Assassin's Saber w/ Battle Sheath, Hand-Propelled Projectile Weaponry.Weapon Type: Saber w/ Custom Sheath, ProjectileDiscipline: Sheathed Sword Style, Fencing, Assassination ArtsBattle and Abilities:Render is an assassin, specializing in the art of stealth, diversion, self-defense, and most importantly, murder. With his agile, stealthy, and quick reflexes and capability, he makes for an excellent subject for fighting tough foes with scarce openings. It may also give him the upper hand in certain environments where hiding and prominent surroundings tactics are possible. He's a man who can take nearly any situation and possible tactic into his accord to use it against foes.To help, Render uses an assortment of tools to accomplish this. Among the many, and one of his most potent, is his sword: A saber crafted with an especially sharp and smooth edge for smooth, effortless cutting. With it, a bar-hilted guard covers over a portion of the hand so as to protect against hand-aimed strikes. The sheath of the sword is also oriented for battle, coming with a lightweight, yet hard light steel lining covering the bottom, going up the edge side, all the way up to the scabbard, which is crafted from aluminum to reduce weight. This creates a form of bludgeon of the sheath.In conjunction, Render may also use some hand-propelled projectiles and weaponry. Such things include the likes of small throwing knives, sharpened coins and metal plates, spikes, and hand rockets. Each have there own designation to their ranges of purposes. As such, he prefers the knives and sharp plates/coins to be used for shorter and longer range throws respectively, the hand rockets to be used a high opponents altitudes, or mid-range throws, and spikes to be used at close range as a striking-distance weapon (He physically jams it into the foe).Despite the cleaver tactics, the the physical ability and the weapons he possesses, Render's specialty isn't in hand-to-hand combat at all moments. With this, despite the elegance and unpredictable nature of a sheathe sword style, it can cause him to exhort extra effort to both draw, and re-sheathe the sword if to use it again in this way. His projectile weapons also have their downsides, the knives being rather hard to throw effectively at long distance, the coins having weak penetration power due to low mass, and the rockets possible inaccurate and may pre-detonate (they aren't lethal, but do hurt). Render may not perform as well in open environments as well, since
there are not as many places to hide, or use advantageous tactics revolving around the environment.However, the weaknesses can mitigate themselves with his careful composition of the weapons' effective range, and conducting himself to optimize combat potential.
