Nothing makes you feel smaller than watching the sunrise on Earth from the moon.

"Hey, Nrylia, take a look at the view," Lance motioned to her with a black glove.

"Gods..." Nrylia stared at the big blue planet until nearly she became blind.

"Yeah..." Lance trailed off, snapping a picture of the view with a button on his visor. "We should head back to the ship now. I knew there wouldn't be much here besides moondust, but the view was well worth it." Lance slowly trotted to their medium-sized space cruiser.

With an unlocking sound followed by a hissing sound, Nrylia slowly removed her dusty white helmet, sucking in a mouthful of clean air from the airlock. She breathed deeply, trying to help her body decompress, her long, curved fangs glinting in the overly-lit room. Turning her helmet in her hands to face her, she pushed a button on the it's side and opened the visor before setting it next to Lance's. She walked over to a large door in the corner of the room and imput a code onto an adjacent panel, the door sliding open.

"Wow," Nrylia breathed, manuvering her muscular arms behind her head and unzipping a zipper that held her tight bodysuit to her back, peeling the shoulders off to reveal coffee-colored fur under a white tanktop; a tail popping out as she stepped out of the suit, adjusting her dark green cargo pants, "that view alway gets me." She pulled off her black gloves and fixed her long dark brown hair.

"Yeah, it's breathtaking," Lance replied, swiping through the daily newsholo, laziness gripping him.

Nrylia sat across from him at the pristine white table, the levitating chair teatering for a few moments before finding stability. She sat there, massaging her slim-but-fluffy tail contently. "It's so calm here. On moons. They have a stillness unmatched by even the calmest of planets." She stared out of a window at the unmoving, grey lunar surface. "I like it, it's calm." She added with a thoughtful flick of her tail.

They sat in content silence for a few moments before the newsholo shrunk into Lance's wrist. "We should get ready for bed; it's almost one-AM."

Nrylia streched and stood up with a yawn, watching the concave chair levitate back into place with a wobble. "Ugh! Are you still using Earth time? C'mon, stick to the Universal Time Sectors!"

"Oops, sorry, Nrylia. It's a habit, I mean, I am a human, and I am from Earth." Lance shuffled to the crew quarters with Nrylia.

"We are in section N3-02. That's 2 haws ahead of the Masterclock." She lectured him, sitting on the lower bunk of the bed on the right, setting her necklace on a glass-like energy field that acted as a shelf. "It's just past the 49th haw. She concluded, pulling her tanktop over her head.

"Whatever," Lance stood in front of the bed on the left that mirrored Nrylia's, his back turned to her out of privacy and respect. He heard fabric hit the ground and the rustling of sheets, followed by an, "Okay." He proceeded to take off his own clothes before cawling into his own bottom bunk. Both kept their underwear on, both as they would simply feel uncomfortable, and how it was protocol; if an emergency should arise, the only thing they would need to do is get into their bodysuits.

Nrylia swiped her fingers in front of her face, a blue menu materializing. "Hey, Lance, where to next?"

"Clin, I'm in the mood for a drink."

"Aye, sir." she lowered her paws; the blue glow fizzling out of existence. "Good night, Lance."

"Good night, Nrylia."

The ship slowly rose before shooting off into the vast cosmos. They were both asleep.
