#3 of My Poems
Poem #2, wrote this about two friends of mine, and their love.
Two hearts, a great divide, Time, distance and length between them. Love , so pure, innocence so bright, it blinds the eyes to see. The pain of separation, the norm of everyday life. Unequal, it is, to the pleasure and justice they both deserve.
As i watch, smiling, taking the memory of their movements, Their friendship i cherish, my love i give to them, for They are Family. Even in my darkest moments, they and everyone around me, Always, are there for me.
My memory has been faltering, the pain dulled by my medication, My muscles fight me, even as i try as i might, to make my body mine, to respond to my commands.
I can only wish for their happiness, and give my blessing upon their union, for they have been close friend, nay, Family.
Such a small word to hold such meaning to me, the bonds I've created glowing brightly before my eyes, to all of my Family, those i claim as mine, Those i would do anything for, to make sure of their happiness.
Even as the Darkness consumes me, The light from all my family, keep me sane and safe.
