San Jose, California. An amazing spot to go for either summer vacation or for college students to go on spring break. It's home to sandy beaches, stores for nearly everything, and major condos home to many who live in this amazing place. The streets were heavily polluted with people who walked, jogged, and ran down the streets. But today, going down a sidewalk on his old and cracked skateboard was Rico Sanchez. Rico Sanchez was an American Pit Bull Terrier who was 23 years old and had a shade of short, glossy gray fur with a diamond patch of white on his back. He was about 6'03" tall and weighed about 120 lbs. He was muscular but had some fat hanging on him. His ears were cropped short and his eyes were a deep brown. He had a tattoo on his back that read 'Duerma cuando estás muerto' or when translated 'Sleep when you're dead' in bold letters over an opened coffin with a pillow inside it. He moved to San Jose from the city of Santa Fe, New Mexico with his mother, Maria Sanchez for hopes of a new life since his father abandoned them. He was wearing a simple white tank top that was stained with dirt and food, mostly tacos, and blue jeans shorts that had a hole for his long tail.  He kept his paws out freely which allowed him to get some more speed on his skateboard as he zoomed towards his job. "Aye caramba the boss is a hard ass." He said to himself as he hopped off his skateboard walked into work which was a mechanic's shop that was somewhere near the center of San Jose. He pulled out his time card and slipped it into the machine which registered him as late.... again. "Gee that's a shock." "Rico!" A familiar voice shouted angrily, causing him to wince. He turned his head and saw his boss who had a very angry look on her muzzle. Her name was Marie McIntosh and boy was she a menace. She was a Lynx that had that well-known fur that varied from goldish to beige-white with dark brown spots. She was about 4'5", which many mocked and even though she was short, she was something not to be messed with. She had black fur tufts on her ears, light yellow eyes, and she was wearing a shirt that was tied off at her slim stomach and blue jeans. But what really distracted Rico at times was what was attached to her chest. A pair of D-Cup breasts that bounced a little at times, distracting the male workers. "Hey boss. Sorry I'm late." Rico said as he placed his skateboard against the wall. Marie just rolled her eyes as she walked over to the dog. "Sorry? This is the fifth time you've been late-" "I'm trying to fix that-" "-this month. Rico I like you I really do but you can't keep doing this crap. One more slip up and I'll have to fire you." She told him. Rico just stood with his jaw on the floor. "Y-you're joking right?" He asked. She simply walked up to him and leaned up to his ear. "No I'm not." She whispered into it. Rico simply gave off a sigh of sadness. "Sí jefe. It won't happen again." He said to her. Marie simply nodded as she walked back towards her office. "Esa bola de pelo con mucha vegetación. Te juro que un día se va a poner una pata en el culo." He ranted angrily as he walked over to his work station. He grabbed a clipboard that had the list of all the jobs and read it. "A fuel change, muffler change, replace headlights, man. Sometimes this job can get boring." Rico groaned as he read the jobs he was assigned for today. He walked towards the car that he was assigned. "Oh joy... it's a beetle of all things" He said, annoyed that he got such a small car to work with instead of the muscle car he saw a bearded dragon working on.______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________A few hours and a few cars later, the last customer for Rico just started up her car as she smiled that her vehicle was repaired. "Thanks. I'll give you a call if I need anything else." The fox said as she started to back up out of the building. "Please do señorita." He said as the fox drove out of sight. He sighed happily as he grabbed the towel he used to wipe off his paws and  began to rub off the motor oil and grease. "Finally. It's-" "Rico. Can I see you for a minute?" He heard Marie's voice ask him. He turned and saw her, holding her door open. He placed down his grease towel down and walked to her office. As he sat down in the old office chair, Marie closed the door behind her tail and walked behind her desk. "Rico, I want to talk to you about your absence here over the month." Marie said in what was a gentle voice. Rico heard this voice plenty of times to know what it meant. "Okay what about them?" "Well Rico it's.... they're starting to pile up. I know I sounded harsh earlier but that was just the tip of the iceberg you were about to fall off of. You have no idea how many strings I've pulled to help you keep this job. I'm running out of excuses so please, for the love of God, please don't miss anymore days." She told him. "Marie, I didn't mean to miss today. My mamá needed me to get her heart medicine. Her heart condition is getting worse and I didn't want her to get up and possibly get a heart attack on the street. Please understand, I never wanted to miss today because of all of my strikes but... she's just so frail and weak now. I'm sorry and it won't happen again." He told her. Marie simply got up and gave him a tight hug, causing her breasts to squish up against Rico's chest. "M-Marie, this is...

odd of you." He said to her as he held his paws up to make sure he didn't touch anything. Marie just smiled as she let the hug go and Rico fell to the floor as he gasped a little bit. "Sorry about that. But seriously try to make it more often okay?" She asked him. Rico just nodded dumbly."Good. Now, get home." She said as she picked him up. He staggered as he walked out of Marie's office but as soon as he grabbed his skateboard, he glided down the paved street, towards his home for a calm night of peace.
