Patamon woke up feeling all tired out. He sat up on the back of a truck. He looked around and asked, "T.K?" He quickly searched for a gun only to see he was empty handed. To his right was a huge pipe system. He looked around the main pipe was a huge cylinder object that took up most of the space. There was no sign of T.K in here. He went back out to the truck. Patamon muttered, "I'm alone." He looked around the forest in the opposite direction. He had none of the crystalized creatures with him now. He had no idea where he was. Patamon saw the small road in which the truck came from. He started to follow it in hopes that he'd be able to find someone.

Bearmon continued on the tracks along with Blackgatomon, Mika, Lisa and Salamon. After the sun set the decided to take a break. They sat on side of the tracks. Bearmon was holding Salamon. Lisa looked around and started a small game, "I spy trees and rocks." Bearmon nodded aware that this young girl still didn't quite grasp the harshness of the world. Still he looked around and started to look down the tracks. He saw a walker coming down. Bearmon handed Salamon over to Lisa. Bearmon said, "Stay here." Bearmon took out his hammer. He made his way as the walker made its way down the track. Bearmon went up and hit the walker. It collapsed and when he was ready to strike. Lisa came over with Salamon. Lisa said, "You don't have to kill them." Bearmon said, "Yeah I do." Lisa said, "Not always." The walker was stuck so he left with Lisa heading the other way. Blackgatomon looked to Mika, "You holding ok." Mika said, "Yeah." Blackgatomon said, "You need to toughen up." Mika walked ahead, "I don't need to." Blackgatomon warned her, "But there are bad people in the world. You have to learn how to fight." Mika said, "I'm good a running." Blackgatomon stopped Mika, "That's not enough. What if a bad person is trying to get you?" Mika looked down, "When we were at the prison, we those people attacked, I had my gun up but I couldn't do it." Blackgatomon asked, "And what if something like that happens again?" Mika said, "Then I'll run. You know my mom once told me things happen for a reason." Blackgatomon said, "You can't go through life just believing that. It's stupid to believe things good or bad happen for a reason." Mika pointed ahead, "Look." She spotted a grove and T.K was sitting down on the stairs. Mika smiled, "See, I told you things happen for a reason." Gatomon picks up her gun carefully not aware of T.K motives. He sees her moving toward him and he stood up nice and slow putting his hand up. Bearmon and Lisa who was carrying Salamon caught up to them. They all looked at T.K now. Blackgatomon moved a bit closer and asked, "How many walkers have you killed?" T.K answered, "One." Blackgatomon then asked, "How many humans have you killed?" T.K answered, "One." Blackgatomon asked, "Why?" T.K looked down. He was unsure why he had taken losing Tommy as something he did. He vaguely answered, "I had to." Blackgatomon lowered the gun. She asked, "Are you alone?" T.K nodded, "Yeah." Blackgatomon pointed the grove behind him, "Did you secure this place yet." He shook no. They came closer and took his gun away from him just in case. They were going to allow him to be a part of their group. Bearmon and Blackgatomon went up to the door listening in. Bearmon said, "You kids stay here. And no matter what you hear don't come in. Now Mika we left you with a gun. Make sure to keep the others safe." They three of them were on the bench with Lisa still holding Salamon. Bearmon knocked on the door. They waited a bit hearing some sort of movement. Blackgatomon said, "There must be a walker stuck somewhere." They went inside. T.K was on the far right of the bench looking at the two sisters. T.K smiled, "Hi, I'm Takaishi Takeru, but everyone calls me T.K." Lisa was just rocking the wooden brown chair. Mika turned and extended her hand, "I'm Mika and this is Lisa." T.K said without hesitation, "You're cute." Lisa turned her head. She looked back to the blue wall. She looked to the small window. Suddenly the walker Blackgatomon claimed was inside smashed and slipped outside to them. The three of them jumped out of the rocking chair. Lisa fell still holding on to Salamon. She screamed. Mika held up the gun as the walker crawled toward Lisa. T.K had fallen and rolled to his left. Mika held up the gun and shot the walker in the shoulder. It advanced dragging its claws into the ground and pulling closer to Lisa and Salamon. Mika aimed again and shot it clean in the head. Blackgatomon and Bearmon rushed back outside. Blackgatomon took Salamon and Lisa runs off crying. Mika followed her to a patch of flowers. Mika used a calm voice, "Just look at the flowers." Lisa was frantically looking to both heads just shaking rapidly. Mika repeated, "Just look at the flowers." Lisa looked down at the yellow flowers. Mika said, "Now just count to three." Lisa closed her eyes after just looking at the flowers for a bit then counted, "One, two, three." Blackgatomon handed Salamon over to Bearmon and came over. Blackgatomon asked, "Why are you so upset." Mika said, "I have this under control." Blackgatomon said, "Go inside. I want to talk with Lisa." She did as instructed and Bearmon went with her. Blackgatomon asked, "Why did you freak out?" Lisa looked down, "Because I remember what they are." Blackgatomon said, "They are dangerous. You should know this by now." Lisa said, "No their not. I can show you." Blackgatomon said, "Those things only have one thing on their minds and that's feeding on flesh. They are monsters. Now come on let's head inside." They went in as well. Everyone sat down expect Bearmon who handed Salamon back over to Blackgatomon. Bearmon said, "Well this is different." Mika looked up from the fire they started in the fire place, "What is?" Bearmon said, "Being inside a house." Mika said, "Well then relax." Bearmon sat down on a couch. Mika went to a separate room and found a toy. She went back in and sat down. Mika looked at the fire, "Maybe we can just stay here." Bearmon looked over to Blackgatomon. It sounded like a good idea. They had running water. A nice little fence. A working stove. T.K slid over to get a bit closer to the fire somewhat aware that Mika was in front of it. Lisa glanced at T.K as he slowly gained more and more confidence and slide closer and closer to Mika. Lisa rolled her eyes. She wasn't going to bother with it if Mika didn't mind. In fact T.K even extended his hand and Mika grasped his hand with hers. It was late so they handed up all sleeping fairly well.

Coffee was being brewed. Blackgatomon went over and poured some in a cup. She looked back to see Mika was still sleeping. T.K was resting on her neck. Bearmon was shifting dealing with some sort of night terror but was still holding on to Salamon. She looked around and didn't see Lisa. She took a sip of coffee then looked out the window to see her playing with a walker. Blackgatomon rushed outside. Dropping the coffee. Blackgatomon knocked over the walker. Lisa stumbled back and yelled, "No!" Blackgatomon shot it." Lisa went on her knees, she looked up and yelled, "She was my friend." Blackgatomon said, "You could have gotten bit. Never do that again." Lisa still cried, "I could have led it away. But we were having so much fun. And you killed her." Blackgatomon was starting to get a really bad vibe off of this. The others woke up. Blackgatomon decided to switch over and try and help Mika first. So she took out Mika to the field. They saw a smoke fire rising above somewhere deeper in the forest. Mika was the one holding the gun as they advanced. Mika asked, "Shouldn't we check that out." Blackgatomon said, "It could be dangerous. We have something else to deal with. It's about your sister. The way she sees walkers..." Mika said, "I know. But I get what they are. She doesn't." Blackgatomon said, "You still need to toughen up too. I told you that. That's why we're out here..." She looked up and stopped Mika. There was a deer up ahead just eating grass. Blackgatomon said, "Well go on. Used what I showed you at the prison." Mika held up the gun. She looked at the dear. Blackgatomon just looked at the deer. Mika didn't shoot. She lowered the gun and said, "I can't." Blackgatomon sighed. Mika said, "We still have plenty of food at the house." They went back. Blackgatomon sat down needing a break from trying to help. Bearmon was watching over Salamon and T.K. Mika looked around the house. Lisa was elsewhere. She went back to the railroad tracks to see Lisa was back with the walker that couldn't move. She had a rat in her hand. She slipped the rat into the walker's mouth. Mika said, "Back at the prison we were just playing pretend. These things are bad. You need to stop pretending." Lisa said with confidence, "I'm not pretending, you are. I can hear them. I can show you. I can become one..." She extended her hand closer and closer to the walker's mouth when it was done with the rat. Mika cried, "Stop it." Her hand moved closer still and Mika cried out again, "Stop it!" Burned walkers came out from the forest. Mika screamed, "Ahhhhhhhh!" Bearmon and Blackgatomon had settled Salamon in the chair so they could get so more water. They brought T.K with them to keep an eye on him. Mika screamed, "Lisa." Lisa was frozen. Mika pulled Lisa away back to the house. They ran as fast as they could. They both screamed, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" Bearmon and Blackgatomon dropped the buckets and rushed over. Mika and Lisa got the fence and pushed under it. Lisa got through but Mika got caught up in the fence. The walkers caught up. They tried to grab for Mika's leg. She screamed, "Help!" T.K pulled a gun out from Bearmon's side arm sachet and aimed the gun taking out the walker on her. Lisa pulled Mika out. Blackgatomon gave them both guns as the herd of burned walkers advanced. The five of them held a line all shooting at the walkers together even Lisa who was constantly thinking that they were more than just walkers. They managed to wipe out the walkers. Salamon woke up crying. Bearmon rushed back in first to keep her calm. Blackgatomon said, "Lisa, I'm glad you helped out too." Lisa said, "I'm sorry." The night Bearmon had another night terror. In the morning Bearmon walked out. Blackgatomon went out with the girls all still asleep. Blackgatomon walked up behind him. She asked, "Is everything alright." Bearmon said, "Lately, I've been having horrible nightmares about Impmon. Sometimes I'm with him and sometimes I just see him alone. And not matter what I do some stranger that I don't know kills him." T.K opened one eye and looked around. He sat up slowly and saw Mika next to him. T.K smiled, then whispered, "Mika..." She woke up. He stood up slowly and extended his hand, "Come on, I want to show you something." She went with him willing outside the porch Mika asked, "What is it?" T.K said, "I want to show you how great sex is." Mika said, "Isn't that something only adults do?" T.K said, "This is the apocalypse, all the there are no more rules." Lisa said, "Now I can show you. Don't worry, I didn't stab them in the head so they'll come back." Blackgatomon lifted up her gun and Lisa held up her gun and yelled, "Just wait. I was going to do Salamon as well. But I can still show you." Blackgatomon said, "Ok. Ok you can show us. Just lower the gun and...yeah will wait. Just let Bearmon take Salamon inside and you can go with them. I promise I won't shoot. I'll just tie Mika and T.K up so they won't go anywhere is all." Lisa asked, "You promise?" Blackgatomon nodded as Bearmon slid closer and closer and picked up Salamon. Lisa lowered the gun and went with Bearmon. When they went inside Blackgatomon was distraught. She even cried which was something she hadn't done in a long time. She took out the knife and went toward the dead bodies. Blackgatomon went back inside. Lisa was in her room. Bearmon had Salamon go on the couch. Blackgatomon went to Bearmon. Bearmon said, "After that, I asked Lisa what else she was doing. She was the feeing the rats to the walkers at the prison. She thought it was a game." Blackgatomon said, "It's far worse than that. She still thinks walkers can be reasoned with. And I don't think staying here any longer is a good idea. But we can't have Lisa around others. She'll still do the same thing." Bearmon said, "I almost thought she was the one who killed Impmon. But Impmon would be too heavy for her. Maybe we can still reason with her." Blackgatomon said, "After all this time she still doesn't see it. We can't let her with others. Not with Salamon. She said she was going to stab Salamon." Bearmon asked, "Then what do we do." Blackgatomon looked down, "What needs to be done..." Bearmon asked, "You mean..." Blackgatomon said, "We don't have any other options." She stands up to have a walk with Lisa. They head outside and Bearmon hold Salamon back up looking out the window. They go out the open field. Blackgatomon stopped and Lisa turned, "Are you mad at me? Is that why we're talking this walk." Blackgatomon said, "No. I'm not mad." Lisa cried, "Look I'm sorry. I just wanted to show you. I didn't think it was bad. I just had to show you that walkers aren't bad. There just misunderstood." Blackgatomon said, "I can see you upset...Just look at the flowers." Lisa looked down at the calming flowers. Blackgatomon said, "Sometimes things happen for a reason. So just close your eyes." Lisa looked at the flowers for a bit while Blackgatomon carefully cocked her gun very slowly. Lisa closed her eyes feeling the nice breeze hit her body. Blackgatomon lifted up the gun and fired. Lisa's body dropped. Bearmon closed his eyes. Blackgatomon went back inside.

Blackgatomon took Salamon and placed her on the couch. She sat down on the table opposite of Bearmon. She took out her gun and slid it to Bearmon. Bearmon had a confused look on his face. Blackgatomon looked down, "Lisa didn't kill Impmon. And he wasn't killed by a stranger. I killed Impmon." Bearmon looked at Blackgatomon. He looked down at the gun and grasped it. Blackgatomon said, "Do what you must. Just know that I did what I thought was right. Impmon was sick and was going to turn. I was trying to keep everyone else alive. If that means you shot me then so be it." Bearmon looked down at the gun. A few tears went down. Bearmon asked, "Was it quick." Blackgatomon nodded. Bearmon took a heavy breathed for a bit then let go of the gun. Bearmon closed his eyes, "I forgive you." He paused a bit then said, "You live remembering that choice, every day." Blackgatomon changed the subject, "We can't stay here." Bearmon nodded. Bearmon picked up Salamon and put her in his carrying pack with her head sticking out. They first buried the three bodies of Mika, T.K and Lisa. They then went back to the track. They went far ahead.

A car stopped by the grove. The front doors opened. The creature that came out took a shovel out of the trunk. The dug where the bodies were buried and found T.K. They reached inside his pocket and pulled out a vial. The person waiting at the car asked, "Are they going to be used." The creature took the vial and said, "That's not up to us. And it might be different for humans. Anyway we got what we needed so let's go." They went back to the car and drove off.
