Minato's Reality
A Naruto Story
~ The title may sound weird, but if you read further into the story, you will know why it is called Minato's Reality. This story takes place before Naruto was born and before Minato and Kushina were killed by Nine Tails. Enjoy! ~
Minato had just finished a mission with Kakashi, Obito, and Rin and they were going to Ichiraku for a celebration feast. Minato told them to go ahead and that he will meet them there. Hungrily, they left Minato and sprinted to Ichiraku. Minato wanted to check on Kushina to see how she was doing. On the way there, however, he was attacked by a rouge shinobi from the Hidden Mist. Minato thought it was odd that the people guarding the gate did not catch the rogue shinobi. Known as the "Yellow Flash", Minato tried to use his fast teleportation and fighting skills to defeat the rogue shinobi, but he failed. Minato, defeated, was unconscious but no one knew that he gotten into a fight with the Hidden Mist rogue. The rogue picked up Minato, still unconscious, carried him over the gate, and disappeared into the trees....
Back at Ichiraku: Kakashi, Obito, and Rin were eating some snacks while waiting for Minato."Where is Minato Sensei? What's taking him so long?" asked Obito."I don't know, maybe he went to check on something." replied Rin."But it's been, like an hour and he's still not here." said Kakashi. They were starting to worry about their Sensei, Minato. They thanked Teuchi (The person who owns Ichiraku) for the snacks and went out to search for Minato. They arrived at the place where Minato was defeated."What happened here?" asked Rin. It looked like a bomb was set off near the gates. Kakashi told Rin to use her sensory jutsu to see if they can find anything that happened. Later, Rin found a piece of ripped cloth lying on the floor."Hey, isn't this part of Sensei Minato's cape?" asked Rin. It was, but how could a piece of cloth tell what happened to Minato?
Minato, still unconscious was being carried away to a vertical cave in the middle of the forest, only the rogue knew where it was. The rogue placed Minato down, tied him to a tall rock in the cave, and taped his mouth with duct tape, so he could not speak or breathe through his mouth. There he was, hanging from the rock, unconscious, mouth taped, his clothes ripped and soaked with blood, and long scratches all over his body.
Kakashi, Obito, and Rin were still wondering what happened to Minato. He wasn't at his house or Kushina's house, so what happened to him? Obito told Rin to use her sensory jutsu again to see if she could sense anybody outside the gates. Because of her excellent and powerful sensory skills, she was able to sense Minato's presence and they quickly ran towards the forest, not knowing what would happen to them or Minato. A couple of hours later, thanks to Rin's sensory skills, they arrived at the cave where Minato was held captive. The cave was a straight way down, so they had to be careful so they would not be stuck in the cave with Minato. They were about to go into the cave to rescue Minato, but the rogue had a surprise in store for them. They walked towards the cave, but the Hidden Mist rogue attacked them. Even though the rogue had an advantage, and with a combination with Kakashi's Chidori and Obito's Kirin jutsu, they were able to defeat the rogue. What they did not know, is that the rogue was even stronger than they thought and that he had another surprise for them. Kakashi, Obito, and Rin made it safely down to the cave and rushed towards Minato. They could not believe someone would do this to their Sensei Minato and they were glad that they killed the rogue (No they did not). Then the rogue got up and looked down the cave."What?!?How are you still alive?!? I thought we killed you!" yelled Kakashi."Well, you thought wrong, and you're about to see what happens if you mess with me!" the rogue yelled back. The rogue then did some hand signs and in a split second, there was a powerful storm of water gushing in."Oh, no! He going to try to drown us!" yelled Obito. Minato was still unconscious, so he could not do anything. Now the cave was filled halfway with water. There they were just stuck down there and they could not swim up because they could not untie Minato from the rock. Now the water had filled up the cave completely and they were on the bottom with Minato still unconscious. Apparently, the rogue enjoyed seeing them suffer in the water. They could not hold their breath that long, but Kakashi was not ready to give up.
What was happening to Minato while he was unconscious? He was in a kind of world, where he had to escape to be able to wake up. The only problem was he could not escape....Obito and Rin had already drowned in the water for being in there so long. Kakashi, on the other hand, was angry to see what has happened to his sensei and his teammates and he swore to save them, in any way that he could. Until, Kakashi lost all his air and downed in the water....The good thing was Minato, in his world, he was about to escape, then he ESCAPED! Minato woke up at the start, looked around, and saw what happened to Kakashi, Obito, Rin, and himself. Minato untied himself and grabbed Kakashi, Obito, and Rin, swam up to the hole, and climbed out. There he saw the rogue that held him captive. Angrily, he threw a kunai towards him, but it missed on purpose. The rogue thought it was all a joke and charged towards Minato. What he forgot that Minato was the "Yellow Flash" and he fell into Minato's trap. Minato teleported from the spot that he was at to the kunai that he threw and shot two Rasengans at the rogue. The rogue flew back and hit smack into a tree behind him. He slid down the tree and was laying there motionless.
Minato carried the three back to the Hidden Leaf Village and took them to his house and laid them down and waited until they woke up. Kakashi was the first one to wake up, and then Obito, and lastly Rin and they were all coughing out water. When Kakashi spotted Minato he asked"Minato Sensei, what happened?" Minato replied"Well, I woke up and the rest is history...." and smiled. The rogue was dead, and everyone was safe....
