Hey there, this is my second story and I know it's not a masterpiece but there is more on the way and I couldn't think of anything to make this one longer. Sorry it's short but it will get better.

"Man, I need to do something soon or I'm gonna go insane!" I was laying on my bed in my room, it was friday and I had no homework and I had just moved to Florida from Colorado so that ruled out hanging with my friends. My dad was away on business for the week leaving me alone with almost nothing to do except watch t.v. and play games, it was fun at first but after a while it just got old and repetative.

My name's Zach, just your ordinary high school student. I'm about six foot tall with messy dyed black hair, some of my natural brown hair blending rather nicely with it though, brown eyes and a fair face. Only two things that made me different were that I was gay and a furry, I don't really care about what people tell me about who or what I am so I just listen and ignore it. I flicked the little tag on my blue dog collar around my neck out of boredom, sighing and watching the t.v. screen upside down, no matter how I looked at it nothing good was going to happen this weekend.

I turned it off and got up dusted myself free of the fuzz that gathered on my clothes. The sound of the ocean outside my door gave me the urge to swim, but it was November and I didn't feel like freezing my nuts off. Still, I walked out onto the cool sand and gazed up at the starry sky, it felt weird being barechested and wearing shorts a week before thanksgiving, back home it was freezing cold and was getting close to snowing. I walked down to the waterline and sat down a few feet from where the ocean washed up on the sand, I layed down and looked up feeling a pleasent breeze pass over my body. Looking around though, I felt a little saddened that no one was around to share this with, all my friends were back west and I didn't know anyone here yet.

I shivered slightly feeling ice cold salt water lap at my heels, I had gotten used to the feeling after visiting the oceans in New Jeresy. The stars sparkled above like diamonds with almost no clouds in sight, a smile slowly spread across my face feeling the sand against my back shift and scratch my back as I got comfortable. I saw the water from where I was, a sea of black dusted with the silver lights from above was almost breathtaking, my smile weakened slightly. "The only thing that would make this perfect was if I had a boyfriend."

The sensation of the water slowly rising and the soft wind blowing almost felt like the world was just slipping away and I started dozing off, the song 'Ares' by Gackt played in my mind as I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

All I dreamed about was having someone to hold me, a big strong furry boyfriend who would wrap his arms around me and hold me dear. I often imagined him nibbling my ear and scritching my head while whispering sweet things to me, maybe even giving me a kiss on the cheek. I could almost feel the heat from his body against mine with his tail wagging back and forth in a slow motion, I felt myself sigh in a mix of happiness and longing as the fantasy continued. I desperatly wanted someone to love, but I could never find anyone who was single and everyone who was single was straight.

The way I looked no one could tell I was attracted to men, or that I was a bottom. I always joked with my friends about that, since they were the only ones who knew and didn't mind who I was, it was always funny watching them wig out when I snuggled against them. That and one of them loved scritching my head and making me squirm, she always called me a little puppy when I did that. Now the best I could do was massage my head with my long nails, it still felt good but it wasn't the same.

It felt like days had past when I opened my eyes again, the moon had moved directly above me and the tide had advanced up to my knees, I sat up and stared out into the blackness giving a hefty yawn. Resting my head on my arms I thought back to my dream, wishing he was here with me right now.

Something caught my eye, a black outline blotted out part of the seascape. It seemed like someone was done swimming and was coming this way, but it looked like something was dragging behind him, looked kind of like a tail. I thought I was dreaming, four more came out of no where and walked up the sand with the waves crashing around their legs, and as I looked a little closer they all seemed to have something different about them. I hadn't realized that the first one of them was already at my feet before I could warn him.

Whoever it was let out a shout of surprise as he tripped over my feet and fell flat on top of me! He growled angrily and lifted himself onto all fours as I tried to see what the hell he was, I almost froze in shock at what I saw. A sleek black and white body still wet from the water rested on top of me, I looked up and was met by an orca staring at me with an expression of awe. "Oh crap, are you alright?"

I tried to say yes but nothing came out, his companions hurried over to see what happened. I had to have been hallucinating, because I saw a wolf, a fox, a husky and a dragon standing around us, as I was about to ask what was going on the orca stood up but kept his eyes fixed on me. " You're not going to scream or anything, are you?" He asked curiously.

Trying to stay focused, I slowly stood up and took a quick look around at all of them. They all had a muscular build and could easily beat the crap out of me if I tried anything, so I decided that the best thing to do was try not to piss them off. I wasn't scared, I was amazed! I was surrounded by actual anthropomorphic animals and I wasn't dreaming this time. But as hard as I tried, I couldn't help but glance down and sneak a quick look at their groins. The canines wore shorts, the orca had a speedo and the dragon was completely nude.

"Um, can I help you guys with anything?" Was the only thing I could say, it made me sound like an idiot though. They gave me a curious look and glanced at each other.

"You're not scared?" Asked the dragon, all of them had confused looks on their faces at the way I was acting. I shook my head, "No, I have no reason to be scared." The fox took a step forwards and eyed me up and down before turning to the rest.

"I think this one is different you guys, he's not lying." They glanced at each other one last time and murmured something. Finally they turned their gazes on me and advanced closer, I stood my ground, feeling my hair stand up on end.

"Well, do you know a place where we can talk more privatly? You know, indoors?" I nodded and pointed to my house, "If you want, you could stay the night if you're tired." The husky shrugged and started off past me to the house and the others soon follwed with me behind them. Once we were inside I shut the door behind us and locked it, shutting the blinds for extra security. I flipped on the lights and the room was fully illuminated, they all blinked and looked around my room. An akward silence ensued, I wanted to ask so many questions but I couldn't bring myself to ask them, the wolf looked at me and smirked.

"Well, I guess you're wondering what's going on and why we're here." I nodded and rubbed the back of my head clearing out some of the sand stuck in there. "Well, we will tell you once you have gained our trust. So don't hold your breath." I gave a nervous laugh, "Okay, that's fair. Could you at least tell me your names?"

Both the fox and the husky nodded and smiled, the dragon cleared his throat. "I'm Drake, the orca is Shale, the wolf is Yugo, the fox is Kit and the Husky is Vince. You'll have to forgive Yugo's attitude, he's a little untrusting of humans. But may I ask why you're doing this for us? Almost everytime a human sees one of us, they scream and run."

I blushed a little, "Well, I guess I'm just a nice guy. I don't know how else to put it." He sat down on my bed with his tail sprawled accross the surface and Shale sat next to him. I glanced at the clock and noticed it was one in the morning, almost as if they planned it they yawned in unison. "If you're tired you can just make yourself at home. Let me know if you need anything."

Kit and Vince bowed and sat down, leaning their backs against the wall the fox laid against the huskies stomach as he wrapped his arms around him and gave him a loving squeeze. I couldn't help but look, I heard Yugo growl angrily and move towards me. "You got a problem with two guys in love?" He glared at me with a vicious look, he would've done something to me if it wasn't for Drake grabbing him and restraining him from moving any closer.

"Don't start that now Yugo, he hasn't done anything wrong. He's letting us sleep in his home and trying to be nice." He continued to growl but he calmed down after a few seconds, when the dragon released him he turned around and disapeared into the hallway. The two on the ground looked a little scared and hurt, Vince nuzzled and comforted his mate huddling together.

"You don't have a problem with that though, right?" My attention turned to Shale, he looked a little concerned and tired, his eyes were drooping and he was starting to nod off. "What? No, no it's just that..." The last of my reply was cut short, I couldn't bring myself to say I was gay myself. I knew there was nothing wrong with it but still I couldn't let it out.

"Never mind, where are you gonna sleep?" Shale stretched his muscular arms and layed his head on my pillow, he closed his eyes and sighed a sigh of relief with the massive dragon settling down next to him and huddling in close. I yawned myself and walked to the door leading to the hallway and turned off the lights, I noticed the wolf staring at me in the dim light. I just ignored him and went into the room directly across from mine and sat in the recliner, I pulled the lever and the bottom part swung up and I leaned back getting settled in for what was left of the night.

All I could think of was how open these new people were, they had only known me for a few minutes and already they outed themselves, not only that but they weren't afraid to sleep with each other with me in the room with them. I turned on my side and mumbled to myself "Is it really that much to ask for a little love?"
