Fire
#1 of Short in Class Stories
This is a really short story I wrote in class. (I'm in class and decided to write this.) This is also to help get my brain in motion due to the fact that I am having a writers block in what story I should write or how i should write it. Well please leave a comment if you like these short class stories. I have two classes that give me time to write short class stories. Do you like the idea of two short stories M and W? So yeah leave a comment saying yes or no.
The fire raised up and slowly began to eat away at the wood. I kept watching the fire as it began to jump into the sky reaching for it. I could hear the cop cars getting closer. I moved the closest branch setting it down on the dry piles of leaves. I can hear the slamming doors as the fire began to consume the leaves crawling to the tree. I turned around see shuffling lights going left and right searching for me. I moved the next branch to the net dry leaves watching the fire crawl to the tree. I couldn't help, but smile as the first fire crawling up the tree. I could tell the fire was happy jumping tree to tree as the other fire finally reaching the top, as she yawned when a strong wind pushed her to a tree near her. He jumped to the front as she jumped back jumping to tree to tree. I followed her as her brother trap in the chasers in a cage. One saw me, and I saw him, but he didn't want me to be caught I gave him and his sister life and freedom. He bounced on a branch making it snap and fall blocking the path to me as his sister called me foreword. I smiled a bit as her brother made more branches fall down as he jumped back following his sister as did I.
I grabbed my bag before I left the area watching them dance in the sky happy to be so free. They lead the way to the opening where no more trees reached, but she knew how to jump high in the sky as I help him reach the next tree. She waited for us to reach her. I laughed a bit looking to the skies seeing a bright light above as water began to fall on her. She jumped to the next tree trying to reach the trees faster before more water came to her. We ran towards her quickly as we all ran into the deep forest. Giving them more space to avoid the falling water. I looked around seeing the their trails falling down, but they look fine as they ran across the trees. I stopped and they turned around looking at me as I opened the portal to the next world seeing a large amount of trees. I smiled opening my bag taking out two candles as they both jumped down into the candles looking at me wanting out. I walked into the portal as it closed behind me. I reached up with him first touching a branch as he jumped out playing on the new tree I did the same for her. She smiled and jumped out. I placed the candles near the base of the trees they landed on.
They have grown so much, but they have grown too fast. They ate away all the trees, and with no other world available to enter that has trees for them to continue they were forced to go back to the candles. I brought them close watching them slowly burn away as I opened the portal to go back. I should live in their place with someone till the end. I placed my foot on the portal looking back as the candle was close to finish. I closed my eyes walking foreword as the portal began to close "Thank you papa."
