The two of them apologized to the princely of Dragons Zargon and ran and bounded out the way they'd came and Drestir jumped in an arc over the pool and came down and bounded away through the trees and brush poking his head over the treelings of the jungle to see where he was going.
Then after some time, Joari decided she was tired and road on his head. He smiled at that as she chattered to him so full of energy she wasn't spending flying.
"I came from a nice little pool in the west east or well west is a good pool anyways and a bunch of us fairy dragons like to flutter around it and go wheee. It is very fun and we take turns to see what we can enchant and laugh at the unsupecting squirel or lizard dragon that gets turned into something its not supposed to be, and whao," and the top of the Drestir's head with her atop it caught and smacked into a cloud that appeared out of no where.
The could eventually cleared and they were left with a blue clothed bobcat type of creature hanging onto his snout. It mewed out and the dragon practically tripped and stumbled on a few rocks and fell down rolled and righted himself looking around with huffs and grunts.
The fairy dragon fluttered into view beside him looking around with him and whispered, "What was that?
The bobcat flew hovering down from the treetops in front of them with his arms crossed. He was golden brown furred with stripes and spots and had the telltale bobcat ear tufts of yellow.
It scolded at them getting up into his face, "Watch where you're going you stupid dragon I" and Drestir clamped his teeth down in a clack at him feeling miffed at its words.
The bobcat backed off but still crossed its arms and snuffed at him and sniffed and then turned around in mid air and drifted off cross legged in the other direction.
"What the dragon gods was that?" Joari spoke
