Tails Wish Chapter 3: The Race Is On!

After Sonic and Tails left Sora they went to find their friends and told them the story.
Knuckles-Hmm, so that's what this festival's honoring, interesting.
Amy-So no one was able to find it; I wonder where Aaron buried it.
Knuckles-Who knows, to be honest I think he made the right call. A wish can be a very dangerous thing and if it were to fall into the wrong hands, the consequences could be catastrophic.
Sonic-You've got a very good point, but I think we should try and find it. I mean, I don't have anything to wish for, but Tails does.
Tails looked at Sonic and said.
Tails-Yeah, if I were to find it, Cosmo could be brought back to life.
Everyone was silent for a moment until Amy said.
Amy-I agree with Sonic, it is true a wish can be dangerous, but I also want Cosmo back. A day doesn't go by when I don't think of her.
Cream-Me too, she was our friend and she didn't deserve to die like that!
Knuckles...Well, it seems we've all come to an agreement. Let's find that stone!
Everyone-YEAH!
And so, with that everyone left the festival and headed home to prepare for the search. Sonic followed Tails back to his house and helped him get things ready for the big day tomorrow.
Sonic- Man can you believe it?
Tails- I know, I didn't even think such a thing was even possible. I mean a wish granting stone that just blows my mind.
Sonic looked at tails and said.
Sonic-Yeah, although we've seen weirder.
Tails and Sonic laughed at this and Tails said.
Tails-Yeah I know, but still. Having a wish come true is something a person can only dream of. It really means a lot to me that everyone's helping to find it, just for me.
Sonic-It's not just you Tails, like I said. We all deeply miss Cosmo and want her back more than anything.
Tails-I just hope things work out.
Sonic-What do you mean?
Tails-Well, what if Eggman gets his hands on it?
Sonic-Yeah, he's a big problem and, is the kind of guy who'd make his dream our nightmare. Don't worry though, if he wants it he'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands!
Tails-Same here, this is my only chance and am not giving it up without a fight!
Sonic-Hahaha, well let's just hope he keeps his distance. Anyway what's the plan?
Tails-Well, unlike Knuckles I'm not very good at treasure hunting so I say we should listen to him.
Sonic-Yeah, that's more of his territory.
Tails- Right, so I think the best way to go about this is to have him be in charge on finding it and I can use a scanner to check its content.
Sonic-Sounds like a plan. I'll come and get you in the morning, good night!
Tails-Night Sonic!
With that Sonic left Tails house and Tails walked up to Cosmo's plant.
Tails-Well Cosmo, it looks like you may be able to come back to us. I really hope things work out; I miss you with all my heart and would give anything to have you at my side again...we all feel the same way and will search the ends of the earth if we have to, wish us luck my dear friend.
With that said Tails went to his room and went to sleep.
Meanwhile in Eggmans base.
Eggman-Hehehe, Sonic and his little friends might have Knuckles treasure hunting skills on their side, but, I've got something they don't. AN ARMY!
As he looked down he saw his army of about a thousand robots, and each of them built to handle anything Sonic and friends could dish out.
