#3 of Blake's Daily Life

A reedit of the first chapter of Blake's Daily Life (which is now deleted). I fixed some parts, and changed the character Jaden from a chicken to a fox. I thought it might be weird to have a chicken friends with a husky and lion, after all.

Today is a big day. Especially for our teenage black and white husky hero, Blake Simmons. Average in height, Blake has slightly unkempt black head of hair, light blue eyes. After taking a short shower and brushing his teeth, he puts on a smile black t-shirt, dark purple pants, and brown shoes. He's now brushing his hair. Blake prefers to have a presentable look on his first day of high school.

"Hey, Blake! Are you ready yet?" asked a cute, white furred husky pup, with similar black hair on his head, and larger sky blue eyes, who happens to Blake's 8 year old little brother, Andy Simmons, who waiting near the bathroom door. Andy wore a simple white shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes.

"Yeah, I'm just about ready." Blake answered, just as he was exiting the door, however, as soon as stepped out, he heard a loud farting noise coming from his foot. He stepped on something. He looks down, sees a carefully placed whoopee cushion. Giggling was heard right beside the black and white husky. He turned and saw his little brother squatting down giggling triumphantly that his older brother fell for yet another prank.

"Andy... you little prankster!" Blake yelled at Andy, who immediately running away, with Blake giving chase.

The two brothers ran throughout the house yelling and screaming at each other,

"Is there no end to your pranks, you brat?!" Blake shouts as he chased his little brother.

"You keep falling for it, so of course I'd do it again!" Andy proclaimed.

"Oh, you're such a pain!" Blake grumbled.

"And you're a big dummy!" Andy joked.

"Why you..."

"That's enough playing games you two." called the father of the two brothers. A tall suit wearing black husky, John Simmons is a loving, but somewhat overbearing father. "You don't want to be late for your first day, do you?"

"Oh shit!" Blake gasped, realizing it's almost time. Forgetting about his game of tag with Andy, Blake darted to the stairs. Andy followed after him, knowing he'd be late too, since he'll be a in the third grade starting today. Meanwhile, his big brother will be starting high school.

The brothers race each other down the stairs.

"Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit!"

"Blake, language!" John called out to his eldest son, sternly.

"Sorry, dad!" Blake apologized as he and Andy entered the kitchen.

Their mother, Lily Simmons had prepared breakfast before the brothers had arrived. Lily is a grey husky like Andy. Just so you know, Lily is quite a hot mother, with a curvaceous figure, and youthful appearance for a woman her age. Andy had inherited some of her looks.

"Morning, Blake, Andy!" she greeted her sons lovingly, "Up to your usual games, I see."

"It's not I like to play, mom. You spoil Andy too much!" Blake complained.

"Hehe, of course I wanna spoil him. After all, he's so darn cute!" Lily cheered as hugged her youngest son affectionately.

"Aw, Mom, that's embarrassing!" Andy blushed, but he's happy nonetheless.

"Oh, brother..." Blake sighed as he sat down at the breakfast.

"Don't worry. I love you too, Blake!" Lily proclaimed, and pulls Blake into the hug too, now hugging her both children together.

This prompts Blake to blush too, but he's completely embarrassed, "Ugh! Mom, I won't kid when I say this is embarrassing, and it hurts!"

"But, this is how a mother shows her love!" Lily proclaimed.

"Ah, it must be nice to be so young..." John sighed while his family fool around at the table. All he does is sit at the table, drinking a cup of coffee. Right now, he feels like he's being left out of the group hug, evident by the gloomy aura around him. You could almost say he's fading into the background.

After the breakfast festivities, the Husky Brothers walk out the door of their house, with their backpacks on person, and went to their respective schools, both of which are walking distance, though Andy's school is closer to the house. Blake walks Andy to the elementary school, and picks him up after school.

They soon arrive at the elementary school, named Sunrise Elementary.

"Remember the usual routine. I'll pick up after school, okay?" Blake said to Andy.

"Okay. I'll see you later, Blake!" Andy said to Blake, and ran off to the school.

After a short minute waiting for his brother to meet with his friends, Blake decides to head to his own school, Yuki High School which is only a few blocks from Sunrise Elementary.

Along the way, he meets up with two familiar faces.

One of them is a tall teenage lion, who wore a gray t-shirt, light green cargo pants, and brown shoes. He also wore glasses, giving the impression that he is for, lack of a better word, smart. He also held a book in his hand, as read as he walked to school. This lion's name is Max King, and like his friend Blake, Max is fifteen, and also starting high school.

"Yo! Max!" Blake called to his friend from middle school.

"Hm? Oh, hey there, Blake!" Max turned and said to Blake.

"So, starting to today, we're in high school now, huh?"

"Hey, Blake, Max!" called an orange furred fox with spiky red hair. Blake recognized him as Jaden Spikes, one of his buddies from middle school. Jaden wears a green tank top, and yellowed cargo shorts, which extend to his knees.

"Oh, hey, Jaden-huh?!" as Blake turned to see the fox teen, the husky saw him ridding a unicycle. "Why are you riding a unicycle?!"

"Well, it's a new day, so I wanted to get some excitement in before the day was over. And what better way to get a great feel for some energy, other than riding a unicycle?"

"But, you look weird riding that thing." Blake said.

"Yeah, it'd probably look better with a skateboard." Max suggested.

"Who cares about a skateboard?" asked Blake, with a slightly annoyed tone.

"Actually, I don't know how to use a skateboard." Jaden stated.

"Most people don't know how to ride skateboards, and don't even care." Max said, before walking on ahead.

"Well, that won't stop me from using my unicycle!" Jaden proclaimed, and continue riding his unicycle.

"Please stop that already..." Blake groaned. Although it is good to see Max and Jaden again after summer break, but they're starting high school today, but can't be acting weird like this anymore. He hopes that things'll change very soon.

(-Minutes later: Yuki High School-)

The trio of friends arrive at Yuki High School. It is a fairly large and wide building, like a rectangle, and was colored red and green. Next to the main building is a fairly large track and field, a tennis court. There's also a stadium for sports like football, or soccer.

"So, this is our new school." Jaden said. He parked his unicycle near the bikes racks, to the surprise of most students commuting to school on bikes.

"A building this large must have huge classrooms too." Max said as he examined the school building.

"The campus is pretty big too." Blake added to the discussion.

"Oh, hell yeah! This'll be exciting! I can feel it!" Jaden declared with unbridled enthusiasm.

Blake sighed to himself, thinking, "We might be going to high school now, but Jaden hasn't changed at all during summer break. I'm sure Max hasn't really changed either. No doubt, some interesting things are afoot during our journey high school students."

"Well, we'll accomplish nothing while standing here in awe of our school. Let's get to the gymnasium, attend the opening, find our schedules, and find our classes."

"Yeah." Blake agreed.

"Whoa! I'm fired up for school!" Jaden rushed ahead with a mountain of energy.

"Don't get too fired up. You're not a kid anymore." Max said, advancing forward in a walking pace, leaving Blake by himself momentarily.

"Guess I'll be going too." the husky muttered to himself, about to follow after his two friends, however, he felt something, or rather someone bump into him, purely by accident. He turned around to see who bumped him and saw an male pale yellow rabbit, dressed in a dark grey hoodie, and dark blue jeans, and grey shoes. He had a small frame, and had an effeminate face, with big light brown eyes, short shoulder length hair, the same color as his fur.

He had his head hung down, depressed and deep in thought about his new life in high school, and before he knew it, he bumped into the husky right in front of him.

"O-Oh my gosh! I-I'm sorry!" the rabbit apologized, in a scared frantic manner.

"N-No, it's okay." Blake assured, slightly taken aback by the small rabbit apologizing. He could tell just by looking at him, he has very low self-esteem, to the point of shyness.

"B-But, I-I wasn't paying attention to where I was going... and I bumped into you..." the rabbit said shyly, tracing his eyes to other areas to avoid eye contact.

"It's really okay. It's not your fault." Blake said, trying to ease the timid, stuttering rabbit's nerves. He was surprised by this rabbit's lack of confidence.

"R-Really...?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Blake assured with a positive smile. Once the rabbit saw that, he seemed to have calmed down a bit.

"I-I see... that's good... I'm sorry, for making such a fuss."

"You're apologizing too much. I told you, it's okay." Blake said.

"... Okay..." the rabbit said quietly, "I-I'll be going now... sorry for bothering you..." he apologized once more, and dashed off away from Blake.

"Hey, wait!" Blake shouted to Dell, but he was already gone. "What was that about?" Blake wondered. "That rabbit... seemed really sad. Just looking at his eyes, he was more than just a little shy. He must've been really scared just talking to me. I wonder why...."

There wasn't time to ponder this, however, as the bell was about to ring. Blake quickly dashed into the school building, and joined his friends at the assembly in the gym.
