Jessica's mind filled with horrible images of how a father could seriously mistreat a child, they could be abused, beaten, and neglected. She shuddered just from imagining it, the bruise on Barbados's cheek faded slightly, but not completely gone.
"Barbados, wanna go swimming?" asked Jessica suddenly.
"Sure, sounds fun." answered Barbados excitedly.
Barbados got up and followed Jessica, he had to jog to keep up.
"Maybe you should ride in my pouch." suggested Jessica.

"Whoa it's cold." said Barbados shivering.
He quickly got used to the water. Barbados swam towards a deeper part of the water, he took a deep breath and went under. Barbados saw many pokemon swimming quickly under water, a Tenticruel cought his attention. Tenticruel moved towards him, he got closer and closer. Barbados was running out of breath so he swam back up to the surface, he reached the surface.
"Wow it's amazing down there. Jessica there's a Tenticruel." Barbados began.
He was suddenly pulled under, the Tenticruel had it's tenticals wrapped around Barbados's leg. He struggled to get away, Barbados was running out of air. Another Tenticruel came around, this one looked female, she made a gesture with it's tenticals telling him to let Barbados go. The Tenticruel looked disappointed and let go, quickly Barbados swam to the surface. He was just about to black out until a big Wiscash used it's whiskers to help Barbados reach the surface quicker, finally Barbados reached the surface. Barbados gasped for air, catching his breath.
"That was a close shave." said Barbados gasping.
Barbados turned around and saw who helped him, the Wiscash had his whiskers around his waist. The two Tenticruel emerged from the water.
"Are you okay kid?" asked Wiscash.
"I'm fine thanks to you." said Barbados thanking him.
"Hey human, sorry about before. I was playing around." said the male Tenticruel.
"Dexter I'm glad you apoligized, now give the boy a hug. That was really mean." said the female Tenticruel.
"Yes mother, sorry mother." said Dexter sounding a little annoyed.
Dexter hugged Barbados and released his tenticals.
"I'll never do that to you again, I promise." said Dexter apoligeticley.
Dexter and his mother went back under the water and left, the Wiscash still had it's whiskers around Barbados.
"Hey kid, how about I take you to land?" asked the Wiscash smiling.
"Sure, Jessica's waiting for me." said Barbados.
Wiscash swam to land, careful to keep Barbados above water. They reached land where Jessica was waiting, the Wiscash released his whiskers and Barbados walkedon land. He made his way towards Jessica, she picked up Barbados and held him.
"Barbados where did you go when you called me?" asked Jessica looking worried.
"A Tenticruel pulled a malicious joke on him but Dexter's mother and I took care of it." said the Wiscash.

Donald the Wiscash went back under water and swam away.
"Are you okay, Barbados?" asked Jessica.
"Sure I'm fine." answered Barbados.
Jessica hugged Barbados closely to her until suddenly there was a loud bang.
*Bang*
Jessica and Barbados shook out of reaction, the loud bang could only mean one thing.
"HUNTERS EVERBODY RUN" shouted a pokemon from near by.
Everybody started running, than Jessica ran while carrying Barbados with her. Pokemon from here and there ran with scared looks on their faces, some were running for their lives, some were taking their children and running.
"Jessica what's going on?" asked Barbados looking worried.
"We have to run home right away, a hunter is somewhere in the forest." said Jessica quickly.
Jessica and Barbados rushed home to where it's safe, it was the only safe place for them to go to avoid the hunter finding them. The one thing on their minds was, where did this hunter come from? And where was he at this point.
