A story I wrote up last night while streaming! :3

Trevor, Nick, Troy, and Mark. Four inseperable friends who seem to always get in trouble, so when Mark decides to drag the other three into an abandoned factory Trevor gets an ominous feeling...

I hope you all enjoy, I would love to hear what you all think! ^w^

School was as dull as ever even as their professor allowed them to watch the Olympics, as they watched there was the occasional cheer from the gathered students but Trevor just couldn't pull himself together to care enough. The young man pushed his glasses up his nose as he read the manga in his hands, and as he tried to ignore everyone in the room someone slapped their hand on his desk causing him to look up. His friend Troy grinned his regular cocky grin at him which only inspired the intense feeling of punching him in the face. "What is it, Troy? Can't you tell I'm trying to read?"

Troy chuckled as he tapped his friend's manga. "You call this reading?" From Trevor's glare he could tell that he did indeed. "Well Mark found this really cool factory out on the edge of town, and he was wondering if you wanted to join in on our expedition of it."

Trevor sighed as he closed his manga and rubbed his forehead whenever Mark got one of these "bright" ideas he tended to get in trouble, and he dragged in all of them with him. "Troy, you know that Mark's last little expedition nearly got us put in jail?"

But Troy's positively annoying grin didn't leave his face. "That's what makes it fun!"

"Yeah, can't you appreciate my genius?" Mark's voice carried over as he stepped up to Trevor's desk. His friend looked as confident as ever, and behind him was his younger brother Nick who looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there.

"No, because your 'genius' has gotten us in trouble far too many times, and why are you dragging your brother with us?! You know if he gets in trouble he could lose his scholarship chance," Trevor growled angrily causing him to receive a few invested Olympics watchers.

Just like always Mark just rolled his eyes and cocked his hand at his friend which only served to further anger Trevor. "Trevor, you worry way too much. This place is completely abandoned, there's literally no reason for the cops to be hanging around there."

"Drug deals, dead bodies, stolen money. Shall I continue?" Trevor asked in deadpan.

Mark's eyes flashed in annoyance as his friend dampened his mood. "Trevor, you just have to light up. We'll be fine, and if anything does go wrong my dad can pull some strings," he said as his winning smile appeared again.

"B... bro, what if Trevor is right? I mean we could get in a lot of trouble..." Nick stammered; this comment earned him a scornful glare from his sibling.

"We'll be fine stop whining, Nick!" A few people around him hissed at him to be quiet, but of course nobody could stop Mark's mouth. "So what'cha thing, Trevor? We going bud?"

"Didn't I already say no?!" Trevor hissed at his friend.

"Do you four want to step out of my class?" The group froze as their teacher glared at them as he stood over Trevor's desk.

Mark shined a smile at the man. "Mister Ditter, why yes we would as we have some plans for today and that doesn't involve being in your crappy class."

The teacher's face went bright red as he glared at the students. "Well I'm glad, as you're going to the office right now!" It didn't take long for the teacher to write up four referrals, and then shoved them all out into the hall. "Go to the principal's office!" he shouted before slamming the door behind him.

They all stood looking at the referrals before Trevor rolled his eyes and balled up the sheet of paper, as they all knew very well that their teacher never called the principal to check that they had gone to the office. "So where is this place?"

Trevor's eyebrow lifted in doubt as he saw the factory for it looked anything but safe, as the roof had apparently fallen in and there appeared to be signs of what possibly had been a factory fire. "Should we be going in here, Mark? This place looks anything but safe," but as he spoke his concerns of course their fearless leader didn't listen to a word that he said.

"Okay! Let's open up the door and go in I'm betting there's plenty of cool stuff in there!" he cheered as the others started to pry the door open.

Being the voice of reason, Trevor was annoyed that his friend wasn't listening and the fact that he was doing so on purpose just to spite him. "Mark, if anyone gets hurt it's on you," he muttered angrily into his friend's ear as he passed by to help open the door up. There was a loud screeching noise as the door painfully opened up and allowed the foursome in, as the three peered inside they grimaced as they saw what appeared to be a completely destroyed inside. "I don't think this is safe," Troy muttered surprising Trevor as Troy was usually the one who followed Mark's word like that of god.

Even Mark looked doubtful for a moment before he put on a determined looking face. "Let's go guys!" he said with gumption as he stomped inside causing little plumes of ash to float up into the air.

Trevor rolled his eyes once more and nudged the two. "Come on, let's follow him before he hurts himself..." The pair nodded doubtfully before stepping inside with care to not break through the weak creaking floor. As Trevor stepped inside he coughed a few times as the ash rushed into his mouth. "Eugh, no wonder why this place was closed down it's a danger to people's health. We really shouldn't stay here too long," he said to himself as he pulled his shirt over his mouth.

The four trekked through the factory though the whole time Trevor felt a growing feeling of fear, as the possibility of choking on ash on the way back was a real danger for them. "Guys, let's go back. The air is getting clogged with ash and..."

"Oh shut up, Trevor! You're just trying to take away all of our fun!" Mark shouted at his friend, "Come on, let's split up guys! I want to see if we can find anything cool!" he said with an excited grin before sprinting off in pursuit of whatever he wanted.

Trevor started to follow after Mark but the other two had apparently taken it to heart, even timid Nick and had sprinted off in the other directions. "Are you kidding me?!" he shouted after them, but he quickly realized that they weren't going to come back just from his shouting. "Dang it..." he muttered in annoyance as he started after Nick first.

Mark didn't know why he told them to split up to be honest he had been agreeing with Trevor about leaving, but he had found himself not in control of his body and had them all split up before running deep into the depths of the factory. "Hello?" he called out as if there was someone there.

Even though he was just human the young man could feel the presence of something bigger, and as he turned around he looked for the source of this presence. "Who's there?!" he shouted in fear as his heart started to pump faster. Even though Mark acted like a big shot he knew that Trevor was the real leader of the ground, and having led them into this situation he was feeling extremely guilty and scared.

The creature that watched the human smirked as he watched it run around in circles in some hope of escape from its trap, and as Trevor bumped into his chest he felt the little human practically wet himself. "What the?!" Mark shouted in fear.

The creature suddenly lashed out and swallowed the human...

Nick felt tears pouring down his cheeks as he groped at the darkness; why had he run off into the darkness without anybody?! That wasn't like him at all, as soon as Mark had shouted for them to split up his legs had taken up the run as if another person had taken the drivers wheel. "Trevor?! Troy?! Is there anybody out there?!" he shouted in fear.

There was a scuffle here and there as rats in the dark let out small squeals of terror which only proved to terrify the student even more. Nick dropped to the floor and got into the fetal position. "There's nothing out there... there's nothing out there..."

A voice spoke right next to his ear, it was so deep and charged with enemy that Nick's whole body froze out of sheer weakness rather than fear. "There's something here, and I'm here to change you," those were the last words before Nick found a pair of jaws closing around him.

***

Troy held his cellphone out so that he could see through the darkness, but even so it seemed like the dark absorbed his light leaving him no light yet. "Dang it! What's up with this, I can't see anything and it's been almost an hour! Hello?! Nick, Trevor, Mark?!" he screamed in hopes of someone hearing him.

He had called for them several times so he expected no answer, but through the darkness two familiar voices called back to him. "Troy..." it was Nick and Mark!

"Guys! Where are you?!" he called out as a grin slid across his face and started towards their voices.

"Over here," they called in tandem.

Their voices grew closer and closer until Troy was sprinting towards them. "Come on guys, keep shouting to me! Once we get together we can find TrevOOF!" he grunted as he slammed into something hard. It felt as if it were steel yet like that of a reptile... but what could be that big?

"Hello, Troy," a voice said before Troy found himself slipping down a large throat.

***

The darkness disappeared, and Trevor blinked a few times as he found himself in a large hall. It appeared empty save for a few left over machines, though they were scorched as well. "I can finally see again..." Trevor sighed in relief as he glanced around curiously, but what had caused him to see again? "Guys, are you there?!"

No answer came back though, and so as Trevor traversed the wide building he could see everything fine now. That fact didn't set Trevor's worry down though, actually it did the exact opposite. He knew that something had made it dark, and now that the dark was gone something had happened to make it willing.

Room after room Trevor walked through until he entered an enormous surprisingly untouched room. None of the room was covered in soot, and the roof was well maintained. "What's up with this...?" Trevor asked as he wandered around the room until he bumped into something squish. "Euch, what's that?" Trevor asked as he looked at what he had bumped into.

There were three of them, one white, one green, and one black. They appeared to be eggs from what Trevor could tell, but what could make such large eggs? He drew close to one of the eggs and suddenly a face flashed close to the surface of the egg, it was Troy's. "Troy!" Trevor shouted as he jumped back in shock, and as he looked at the other eggs he realized that Mark and Nick must be in the others.

"Guys, I'll get you out!" Trevor said in determination as he started to look around for some way to open up the eggs, but as he did so he heard a splashing noise. Turning around he froze as he saw something climbing out of the black egg, it appeared to be humanoid in shape but as its body congealed from the black slime it became very apparent that it was anything but human. It's head was serpentine in nature though on its head were two horns that looked dangerous, along its body were apparent scales that looked as if they could take a hit.

The creature appeared very muscular, and with the menacing claws on its hands Trevor knew that it could tear him to shreds. "Trevor..." it hissed in a familiar voice.

"Oh my god... Mark?" Trevor whispered in shock, and the creature hissed in amusement.

"No I'm not Mark anymore, Father has given me a new name. Ebony is my name." he hissed as his green eyes flashed in pleasure.

"Mark..." the creature that was once his friend hissed angrily at the name, "E... Ebony, what are you? I mean, you were just human a little bit ago!" Trevor spoke quickly as what used to be his friend approached with clicking footsteps as his claws tapped the floor.

Ebony grinned showing off dangerously sharp teeth that glimmered in the bright light of the room. "Father has made me kin, and soon so you shall be as well. Look, brother Ivory awakens," and as he said it so too did the white egg explode into goo revealing yet another of the reptilian creatures hissing its pleasure as it was freed.

Where Ebony's horns were long and sharp, Ivory's were curved down in a threatening arc. The creature let out a long hiss as he blinked a few times revealing amber eyes. "Brother Ebony, I'm awake," Ivory said, and Trevor knew that it was Nick.

"Oh god, Nick..."

"Ivory!" the creature hissed angrily, "Father gave me a perfect name, as my old was a sign of the weakness that once held me in its grip..."

"Who is this father you speak of?!" Trevor shouted as he backed away from the two; it was all getting too much for him and...

"I am Father," a voice said as Trevor backed right into a solid object. Trevor looked up and found himself looking right into a dragon's smiling face. "Son, I think it's time for you to go to sleep for a bit." The dragon swallowed up Trevor in preparation for his change.

Ivory and Ebony chirped in glee at seeing their father. "Father, we've done good right?" they asked with adoration in their eyes.

"Yes, very good boys. Now let us wait for your siblings to be ready..."

***

It was impossible to move, or to open his eyes. He couldn't remember his name for some reason either, come to think of it he really couldn't remember much of anything right then... The bubble was so quiet... so peaceful...

Whenever he tried to open his eyes he'd see a flash of shapes out of his bubble of crimson, and a feeling of happiness washed over him before he was forced to close his eyes once more. Time was nothing, and he didn't mind... It felt as if the world sped around him as he sat there in his peaceful spot...

Life didn't matter outside of his bubble, except... except for him... The presence that sat with him... He didn't know its name, nor did he know what it was but it was sooo comforting...

"Father."

He cocked his head, what was that?

"Father, I am Father."

The words were hard to understand for some reason... he felt like he would've understood them at one point but now...

"You are being born my son, I am your Father. I took you within my stomach and laid you, and as we speak you become my flesh and blood."

This news brought pride to the youngling, he had a father...

"Good boy, it's obvious that you will be the strongest of your brothers. A true leader."

True leader... yes, that sounds right. He'll lead his brothers! Ivory, Ebony, and Emerald! He didn't know how he knew their names, but it was true!

"Your brothers, yourself, and I are forever connected Ruby. You will forever answer to me, do you understand?"

Yes Father, Ruby thought to himself as he felt his body grow stronger and the liquid within the egg start to replace his body.

"Good boy, Ruby. Now do you remember anything from your previous life?"

Memories of a past weaker life along with a name that meant nothing came to mind, and it all disgusted him. Yes, Father he thought in disappointment at himself.

"Son, you are to forget it ever existed. You are my son, and to be so you can carry no humanity, and when you leave all of that you can be born once more."

Ruby pushed it all out, all of the humanity and memories, and as the last of it drained he felt his egg explode in a rush of excitement. He stood and saw in the reflection of some goo on the floor his own form.

Magnificently sharp horns stood on his own head pointing back, and his muscles had grown immensely since he had been a human. The glasses that he had once worn lay on the ground though they meant nothing to him, so he stepped on them with no qualm as Father smiled at him along with his brothers.

"My sons, I'm glad you've awoken. Now it's time for us to leave for the humans will notice their kin missing," he explained to them.

None of them felt any connection to the four children, they assumed that they had feasted for the day. "Yes, Father," they said in tandem before their father scooped them up in his mouth and swallowed them where they would stay until it was time for them to come back out once more to live their new lives.

As the four siblings were put into their eggs once more, Ruby grinned as he imagined the world cowering in terror of the five dragons...
