#9 of A Familiar Apprentice

Sul'ava shows Takajit how to create a pendant to help with his learning.

Chapter 09

"This is your idea of training, huh?"

Sul'ava grinned up at me. Hir muzzle was firmly wrapped around my member. I was leaning against the kitchen table as shi slid hir tongue over my heavy testicles.

"Well, this is just a warm-up," shi replied. "The real training will come soon, though."

I grinned and moaned as I felt hir tongue slide down my length again. Hir supple, strong tongue nearly brought me to my knees every time.

It had been a week since we arrived at Sul'ava's residence. We hadn't done much but clean the dust and cobwebs. And go at it like a couple of rabbits nearly constantly.

Like now, this morning. Shi pulled off my spent member and smacked hir lips before hugging me tightly. I purred deeply and hugged hir back.

"So, you're ready for some training, huh?" shi said, cocking hir head to one side. "What would you like to start out on?"

"Uh... I'm not sure," I said. "Usually the teacher tells me what to do."

"Oh, well, we've did enough of that on the trip up here," the dragon said. Shi stepped over to the counter and started pulling some eggs and flour off the shelves. "Now it's time for you to learn something you'd like to learn."

"Okay... but I really don't know what."

Shi smiled at me. "Indecision, huh? Figured an aspiring wizard like you would know exactly what you're looking for."

"Well, I mean, I know the general areas I want to specialize in," I said, muttering.

"Relax, I'm just giving you a hard time," shi said, grinning. "I have a good idea on something fun. Here, stir this."

Shi handed me a bowl and went off into another room. I stirred the batter, wondering what shi was up to. It was strange, the transformation shi'd gone through over the past few weeks. At first so closed and mysterious. Well, shi was still plenty mysterious.

I didn't wait long. Shi came back with a thick, leather-bound book. Shi put it on the counter and took the bowl back from me.

"Okay, can you do any fire spells?"

"Basic ones."

"Alright, light the stove."

I nodded and focused on the stove. I hadn't done any real magic in a while and now Sul'ava was staring at me as I concentrated. Hir gaze was unnerving.

I mumbled the incantation to myself - the fire spell I learned didn't require any prep work, but it didn't produce much either. This time, however, I was rewarded with a nice flame bursting from the tinder in the stove. I blew on it to grow larger before putting a few small sticks and logs in.

"How's that?" I asked, closing the door.

"Not bad," shi said. I turned around and saw a complete meal already done. Eggs cooked to perfection, pancakes sizzling on their plates, and fresh fruit and milk ready on the table.

"But... what?" I stammered.

"Nice, huh?" Sul'ava said, sitting down at the table. Shi motioned for me to sit as well. "That's what I'll show you today - instant meals, long as you have the right ingredients. Saves a ton of time in the morning."

"So why didn't you do it this way at all last week?" I asked, helping myself to some eggs and pancakes.

"It was a lot more fun making the batter," the dragon said suggestively.

I nearly blushed, remembering the shenanigans that occurred most mornings so far when we tried to make breakfast together. "Yeah, I suppose so."

"Anyways, it's not a complex spell - you should be able to pick it up quickly," shi said, pouring milk into a couple of glasses. "Mostly just remembering a few phrases and concentrating. Arranging the ingredients correctly helps as well."

"Doesn't sound too bad. How's that hard at all?"

"Well, if you screw it up, you could turn the food poisonous, so it's not taught to novices."

"Ah, I see," I said, suddenly eyeing the half-eaten pancake on my plate a little nervously.

"Relax," Sul'ava said, laughing. "They're fine."

I nodded and kept eating. It did taste very good. Be handy out in the field.

"Since that won't take very long to teach you, anything else you'd like to learn today?"

"Well, what was that thing you did to the poltergeist when I first met you?" I asked.

"Oh, that... banishment mixed with exorcism, basically," shi said. "You need to have one of these." Shi held up a large pendant. It was faintly recognizable, but oddly shaped compared to most. "We'll make you one. You know personal pendants, right?"

"Vaguely. Most of the people I trained under considered them hocus pocus rather than real magic."

Sul'ava laughed. "Ha! Shows what they knew. Charlatans, these modern day 'magicians,'" shi said. "They'd be lucky to survive even a slight encounter with a dazhu."

"What's a dazhu?"

"Nasty tree-spirit that likes to eat eyeballs," Sul'ava said, "while they're still inside your head."

"Ugh, I see."

"Anyways, at least while you're training with me, you'll use a pendant and learn to focus your energy with it. Invaluable for long-term spellcasting," shi said. "It also helps to have a familiar."

I grinned. "So I've been told."

Shi smiled. "Hey, you're a feline. You can't help it - you're a natural fit for assisting magically."

Sul'ava, I'd noticed, really loosened up during the past few weeks. When I'd first met hir, shi'd been distant and cold. Even after our first time together, back in the pond, shi'd been... lukewarm. Lately, however, shi really started acting nonchalant. Shi'd certainly smiled more, as if shi was gradually getting a large weight off hir shoulders.

That night shi told me the first part of hir story, of hir father, must have helped. I couldn't imagine going through all that and still carrying the weight of it with me all those years later.

"What are you thinking about?" Sul'ava asked me.

I started. "Oh, uh... the trip here. When I first met you," I said.

Shi stared at me for a few moments. "Finish eating - I'll get some materials together for your pendant."

Yikes. I didn't exactly lie to hir, but I could feel the temperature drop a few degrees.

I hustled after hir. "Sul'ava, wait," I said. Shi turned around. "Look... I was thinking about what you told me after we left Angarth. About your father."

Shi turned away, but I grabbed hir arm. "Look, I want to hear the rest - how you ended up leaving. How you changed into who you are now."

"Taka, not now."

"When, then? After you told me what little you did, you've been more relaxed," I said. "I just want to help - to be there for you."

Sul'ava turned back to me and smiled. "I know, Taka, but give me some time, okay?" Shi kissed my cheek and turned me around. "Clean up the kitchen and meet me out back - we'll start on your pendant first, so it will have time to set up."

Now I was worried I'd made hir mad. Shi seemed to sense my hesitation and turned hir head back towards me.

"Don't worry, Taka," shi said. "I'm just not... ready to talk to you about that yet. Finish up in here and we'll get you your pendant."

I nodded and tried to understand - shi was right, and I shouldn't press the issue.

After a short while in the kitchen, I went out the back of the house. Sul'ava was there, naked, resting on a blanket stretched across the bright green grass.

"I thought we were making a pendant," I said, purring at hir.

"We are," shi said, lifting hir head to smile at me. "But my energies are heightened through sexual release. We can do it the long way, but I'd rather have a bit of fun instead."

"I have no objection to that," I said, pulling my clothes off quickly.

"Now, first lesson," the dragon said, pulling me down and against hir voluptuous curves. "Pendants are, like I said earlier, great for long-term spellcasting and storing energy to call upon when necessary." Hir fingers slid along my thighs, digging into my pelt. "Sexual energy can also be harnessed in a pinch, but sometimes a pendant is better. Say, in a crowded marketplace."

"Oh, I don't know, that could be fun," I replied, grinning widely.

"I'm sure you would find that fun," shi replied, kissing my cheeks softly. "Anyways, we're going to produce some highly charged sexual energy very quickly here, then I'll help you focus that energy into charging the pendant and creating its bond to you."

I grinned widely and ran my paw down Sul'ava's wonderful belly, feeling the hard, rippling muscles under the tightly-bound scales. I curled my fingers around hir heavy sheath, feeling the massive maleness throbbing within as we kissed hard.

Hir tongue pushed into my muzzle and I wrapped my tail around hir ankle. I moaned heavily as I felt the head of hir massive erection slide against my pawpads. I heard hir moan as well, but I was already losing myself in Sul'ava's amazing body.

"Careful now," shi whispered, sliding a paw up my backside, "don't lose yourself too quickly."

I nodded, but it was hard to control myself in the dragon's strong embrace. I wanted to feel hir inside me, pumping into my body, and I wanted to rub hir smooth scales, massage hir hard muscles...

"Ooooh! Oh, no..."

I gasped, panting. I'd just gone and blown a load over Sul'ava's body, the mental imagery of what we would do overwhelming my senses.

Sul'ava grinned and licked my neck and chin. "Don't worry, I'm sure there's more where that came from..."

I tried to nod my head in agreement, but hir tongue tickled my throat. I leaned my head back, moaning heavily as shi pulled me on top of hir. My legs spread over hir hips and I squeezed down instinctively. I slid my rump back and forth across hir massive dragonstalk, now almost totally hard again - the dragoness tended to have that effect on me.

Sul'ava reached down and squeezed my ass tightly. Almost too tightly - I yelped as hir claws dug into my rump.

"Now," shi said, leaning hir muzzle in close, "you will not cum until I tell you to." Hir eyes narrowed and I gulped.

But before I could say anything, shi had my on my back, legs spread, and hir maleness was pushing deep within me. I yeowled and squirmed, moaning and breathing hard. Sul'ava held me tightly, though, and I couldn't move, not that I wanted to. Shi was rougher than normal, but it was even a bit more exciting this way. Hir hips ground into me heavily, hir claws bit into my skin, but I could tell shi was taking care not to do any real damage.

Hir right arm released me and reached onto the blanket. Shi picked up the heavy, rough-hewn copper medallion and pressed it into my chestfur. A searing burning swept over me and I cried out, but hir muzzle pressed to mine, silencing my cries.

The dragon's strong paw ground the medallion into my chest. It felt like my fur and skin were melting off. But hir strong kiss and powerful body cradled me close. It could only have been moments, but it seemed like hours before the burning reduced in intensity.

"Good boy," the dragon purred. "That was the hard part."

I panted, breathless, as the dragon continued to fuck me hard, pistoning in and out of me smoothly. My arms clutched at Sul'ava's scaly shoulders as a few tears fell down my cheeks.

"What... what was that?" I managed to gasp.

"It was the pendant... aligning to your energies," shi said between moans. "I didn't want to tell you before so you wouldn't worry... soon the pain will be replaced by pleasure as the pendant becomes yours."

"Oh... Sul'ava..."

My cock throbbed, begging for release, but I was mindful of Sul'ava's earlier warning. I did my best to hold back, to wait, but it was so hard.

"Sul'ava... I can't... I have to... oooh..."

"It's okay now," shi said, purring deeply. Hir paw closed around my aching cock, leaving the pendant on my chest, as shi kissed me hard once again.

I couldn't hold back any longer and arched my back. Cum splattered onto my chest and the pendant. At the same time, I could feel Sul'ava's monstrous erection push deep within me. Shi let out a roar of pleasure, head arching up and back, as hir cock spurt thick jets of dragoncum into my body.

Hir arms tightened around me during hir orgasm, squeezing me in more tightly than ever. I tried to do the same, wrapping my arms around hir neck and hugging close as my own cock spasmed.

I moaned heavily as hir grip slackened slightly and hir tongue slid over my cheek.

"Look at your pendant," shi whispered, smiling broadly.

I grasped the heavy coin in my fingers and lifted it up. It glinted in the sun. No longer a mere hunk of roundish copper, it radiated brilliant light off its myriad faces. It was a diamond now, heavy and smooth despite its faceted shape.

"How?"

"Internal energies are very powerful," the dragon said, purring lightly. Hir fingers slid over my cheeks. "Yours, apparently, are especially so. You have a strong gift inside you - we just had to bring it out."

The diamond pendant felt warm in my paw. I could feel it pulsing with energy, a pulse in time with my own racing heartbeat.

I nodded, suddenly tired, and yawned hugely.

"That's another side effect, unfortunately," Sul'ava said, scooping me up into hir arms. "You'll want to sleep for a week. Come on, let's get some food into you before you pass out."

I could only nod as shi carried me back to the house. My paw clutched the pendant tightly. My other paw scratched at my chest. I could still feel the light burning sensation of the pendant, but my fur felt normal. I couldn't think much more about it before I fell asleep in my teacher's arms.
