#13 of ALIEN (original)

Yes. This is actually an English chapter. And it goes together with chapter 11 (which will be called the "Loup-Plotline" from now on...)

CHAPTER 13 - 5 YEARS EARLIER or IN ANOTHER TIME/WORLD

"This was the time of my life. I don't really know why, because it all began so naturally and boring as always. I went to the 'Center for Human Acknowledgment of Taurinsberg' and on my first day of school I entered the halls and everybody seems to be ignoring me. I walk through the University and no one knows my name. I am new here; and I am a stranger. I was not a human being so I felt very uncomfortable walking through the building of this institution. I was on my way to the headmasters office in room A47. 'Sign Up'. All manually, no high tech. I was very nervous since I didn't know what exactly I should say to this guy. My plans were totally ridiculous but I had to try at least. I went in there and closed the door behind me. I said nothing. 'It's your first day and you made it into my office', he said. I wasn't really doing anything wrong. It's just... When you don't have any friends on this school you're either a nobody everyone ignores - like I usually prefer to be - or you're a provocateur. I only had sewn the Equal-Rights-Badge on my Jeans which could've been seen offensive by the humans. And since this is a fascist school I was the provocateur; I did start the fight. So I got my detention. But after all this was one of the best things that could've ever happened to me. Because if I wasn't sent to the Detention-Room B83 that day, maybe I would have stayed the nobody.

The teacher sitting up front was deeply into his papers. The others were sitting around either drawing on their desks and notebooks or sleeping. I made my walk to the only leftover seat in the back. I threw my bag on the floor and sat down. The teacher did not even throw a single look at me. I grabbed my notebook and took it out of my bag. I searched for my pen when a young man's hand landed on my desk. He offered me a pencil, an ink-pen and a sharpie. I took all of them and smiled at him. He smiled back cutely. I haven't seen him yet this day but he kind of seemed familiar on the very first glance. He was stuttering a little shy-y: 'I, I really like wolves.' I did not really know what to reply on that. So I just whispered: 'Thanks, so do I.' It was sounding a little sassy so I decided to add: 'Well... and humans of course. God, all hail to the humans.' I hated myself for this right after it left my throat. But this cute boy really seemed to like me, he giggled and said: 'Well, this school is really full of fascist, that's true.' He pointed on my pants. 'What did you do to come here on the first day?', he asked nosily. 'I did nothing. It was one of those fascists.' 'I... understand.', he laughed quietly. 'Do you wanna do something after detention class? Me and my sister are driving down town to the record store.' I love music, so I had to accept his invitation, of course. The supervisor raised his head and shh-ed at us and then lowered his face again.

Thirty minutes later we were standing at the entrance waiting for a black pick up truck to pick us up. There she was, with her short-cut hair and her pink dress. The sister whose brother, her and I would be best friends from now on."
