Stars
Something I wrote awhile ago. Probably the least dark of them all really, could even say "good" so to speak lol.
I wrote this when I was with someone, though I am not with her anymore, I remember "her" and the jar full of stars she gave me. Sadly she has changed since our departure apart. Others believe it is best to forget and move passed, but the past is what creates us. I don't live in the past, but I remember it. It is best to remember what good there was, specially if there is very little in my opinion.
The stars i use to look at through out my life. Every star holds an untold story to continues one's hope when lost in the surrounding darkness, underneath its blazing light. As I look up into the star covered night sky, i wonder what each story says, but to hear each story the star must be extinguished and forever lost to the rest of the universe. So forever between darkness and light, i sit and look up at the stars blanketing the night sky forever wondering what these stories are. Never wanting to remove possible hope for others in the universe, i leave them where they are. For the stars themselves are shining flames of hope to guide me away from the darkness.
The stars contained within the jar are the very same stars that blanket the midnight sky for me. Forever shining within the orb, guiding me away from the darkness and giving me hope. I do not open them, in fear that maybe one day, once all the stars are gone, i may be lost again and alone, then i would never be able to find my way again. So forever and a day, i will hold these stars close to my heart, never to be alone in the dark again. Thinking of the shining star that gave me such a gift in my time of need, knowing that though she may not forever be by my side, she'll always be inside this jar forever and a day, keeping the darkness out and guiding me.
