It was dark and I felt pain all over. My leg..throbbed from the pain, my shoulder was numb but I could still feel sharp pains. I opened my eyes. Rain? Why was it raining? I realized then I was outside and rain was hitting my face.

I tried to stand up best I could but leaning against a wall. I looked at my surroundings and found this had to be the city..but not my city. The graffiti on the walls proved that well enough with symbols of street gangs I knew nothing. I gather myself and made my down the wall until I hear vehicles and voices.

As I came up to the sounds, I heard I saw something in fantasy. Sure, it looked normal at different points. There was a police officer giving another a ticket, which I figured for speeding, a women walking down the street under an umbrella, and a child beside her. But what made it amazing was the officer was not human...well human enough to be on two legs but he was I figured a cat faced one. The women I also seen was a Husky with her cub beside her.

I looked in disbelieve around but I noticed humans as well in places I say normal but I would notice a couple walking together. One was an I say the male a Lizard holding hands with a human female. They looked happy together as the lizard male spoke of marriage.

I felt as I woke up to some strange dream but the pain I was feeling said other wise. I did my best walking past these different kinds of species of creatures and humans together. Course I got my own looks as well still covered up in my grey outfit and blood stains.

I managed to find myself walking past a store that said Rite AID. Least the names are the same. I walked inside to see a few normal people inside and one mouse character be hide the counter. Paying little attention I made my way to the medic section and started grabbing every little I could carry.

As I was busy, I witness a small looking child. However, this child had the face of a tiger. Small in status but those eyes of his were that of a predator I could see. He was looking around as if he was going to commit to something. I realized he had his paws in his jacket and by the bulge he was packing a piece.

"damn it." I said to myself as I motioned over to the kid. He seem nervous and uneasy about the idea but he had a plan. He was walking toward the mouse be hide the counter and just as he was about to pull his hidden weapon I stepped beside him.

"If you are going to do something you need to be sure it's worth the risk. And if you're going to do it, don't use such a tool that could put you at risk." I speak to the cub in a whisper but enough he could only hear me. My face still covered by my hood but he knew I was speaking to him.

He became uneasy enough that he looked at me with tears in his eyes and then ran out the door. I took a deep breath and left shortly after. Unknown to the mouse I had stolen the supplies which as I told the cub it was worth the risk.

I found a park short distance from the store and took a seat on a bench. Tired and near my limit I tried to bandage myself quickly. Not even making it to half way before I passed out.

"So..am I going to die this way too. Looks like I be joining you Mandy" I mumble to myself. Just before going out I seen a figure appear before my eyes. Very large figure. I didn't care...I was too tired.

I soon felt I was no longer outside nor on that bench but indoors. I could hear voices..two of them if I guessed it. One seem to be female while the other was male. Both seem to be speaking about me as I heard the words, Grey, Human, and blood.

I felt my body was less sore and wrappings around my shoulder and leg. My hood was removed and missing which brought me to fully being awake and shooting up from the bed I seem to be on.

"Oh look his awake now. Hey you feeling any better? We removed the bullet from your shoulder. Must been one tough guy to live as long as you did with that bullet in you" said the female voice. "You are a tough one my friend. You kept scrabbling around while we tried to remove it. Clocked me in the jaw pretty hard for a human your size." Came the male voice.

My eyes adjusted and I got a good look at my two voices. The first was the big fellow. Wolf by the look of things from his black fur to his muzzle and teeth. His muscles were big enough to least say he was a lifter. He was wearing a baggy jeans and a shirt with words BIG GUY on it. Next to him was someone I did not expect. The female voice came from by the looks a cat. She wasn't standing up but sitting at a desk with 4 monitors. Her face was smiling at me as if I did something funny. Her fur was bright yellow but what caught me was her breasts. Have to say they were nice pair on her body, I guessed about double Ds and she had on a shirt with a sunflower on it.

I gazed back between them trying to read them best I could. However, at the moment my mind was still trying to put together so much I was lost. I stood up much to their surprise and walked up to them.

"So what do I owe the honors to my saviors?" I said trying to sound jokily. The girl giggled at it but the big guy growled at me which gave me a shock but in return he laughed. " I can make jokes too. The names Frank. And the lady beside me is Mira. What would your name be?" the wolf said as his paw hand reached out.

I took his paw and we shook which with his grip if he wanted could break my own. I looked over at the one named Mira and shook her paw as well but she remained seated. "That is a good question. Where I am from I have no name but the name they call me." I replied.

Mira giggled to herself which I started to find amusing to which Frank on the other hand found interesting as he gave me a look of interest. " Ha funny guy we have here mira. So you have one or not or do you just wish I call you lunch?" Frank replies with a little growl baring his teeth at me to which Mira slaps his arm.

"Don't scare him Franky. We did save his life after all." Mira says to frank then looks back to me still smiling which I return the smile.

"Sorry he can be like this if you joke too much. But would you please kindly tell us a name to call you sir?" Mira asks so nicely.

"Like I said I have no name. Where I am from I started out with no name but they later gave me one. It the truth I swear. I use to be called Phantom but I do not wish to be called that any more. Too many disturbing memories follow that name." I say to her. My face expressed dread and sadness which she just nod her head to me.

"Alright would you mind if I gave you something? I don't like not knowing people's names. Heck I name all my toothbrushes." She replies as if to cheer me up.

I just nod my head as she turns to a set of books and starts flipping over pages. Meanwhile Frank had walked off to another room and returned with my Grey hood. It seemed to be washed of the blood, which was good since most of it was not mine.

As he returns it I quickly put it back on but leave the hood down. Frank looks at me for a moment then returns to mira who had spun around in her chair giggling at a book.

"I found it found it, the perfect name for such a guy like you." She says happily then hands me the book. It showed a picture of a human man but wearing some weird clothes. He was standing proudly among others with a smile on his face.

"His name is Loki and the Greek god of mischief. Mastery of playing tricks and illusions on people. It fits you perfectly doesn't it?" Mira says happily which all I could do was look at frank as he just shakes his head at the idea but doesn't say anything.

"Well thanks Mira Ill except the name. Hello my name is Loki, nice to meet you Mira" I say to her which she blushes under her fur then spins in her chair back to her monitors and book collections.

"Well now that is out of the way, care to tell us who you are?" Frank speaks up after the little moment. The question itself seem to confuse me as asking who I was. "I think we already covered who I am, the names Loki." I reply which seem to tick the bad wolf off.

"Not that you furless flesh bag. I seen what you did at that drug store. With the little tiger cub? Who was about to yet again hold up the poor mouse and rob them. However, you talked him out of it. You spoke to him as you knew what he plan to do even for someone who never been to this city. Now I ask you who are you?" frank demanded I explain myself so I did just that.

I got him to calm down a bit as I tried to explain who or what I use to do, where I came from as if this place was a new world. I somehow was transported here from a device that Mira happen to acquire off me while I slept. She been doing checks and scans off her own machines to understand such a device. She never seen a thing before nor how it worked but assured me she could find out.

I explained more on what I use to do on my own world as a Thief. Phantom Thief I was titled for always getting away leaving little clues but my ghostly self. I told them I only stole items from Greedy rich fiends who were stuck up and needed to be taught a lesson or from places who had the items stolen from locations that should have been left alone. I simply returned them to there owners. In addition, I went on to tell of Mandy. The detective who spent years chasing me across time trying to get me. Who later passed in my arms and I was framed for it. I didn't know of her fate if she lived or died and wish to somehow get back.

After hearing much of it, both Mira and Frank took glances at each other and nod in approval. They seemed more excited to hear of my thief like skills and showed interest in how I pulled them off. I explained I could not reveal how I done them but only had practice and family history in it. But lacked few things like skill to crack open safes with digital locks or breaking open large doors that had more price full items inside so I stuck with the normal laser defenses and glass case item. Much more my tastes.

Once I told them both that, they seemed even more into me. They explained they been doing robberies as well in the city. But due to their lack of skill and able to slip into places undetected they could only take what was there instead of a timely thing.

"Me and frank here once tried to steal some rare jewels from some rich kid named Sir Tango Boon. His security wasn't the best since I could easily crack that stuff and Frank here can smell if any guard was nearby and maybe take them out. But getting inside while he was home or away was troublesome for us." Mira went on to say which confused me how it would with two people.

"How could it be a problem? There are two of you? With me alone it been a pain even if I knew how to turn off the security. What gave you two such a handicaaaAH!" I was shocked what happen next.

Turns out Mira was...in fact bound to a wheelchair as she proved by having frank show her chair to me and pick her up to place her into it. She didn't seem to mind wheeling around in it as she said she named her wheelchair The Kitty chair and laughed it off. I apologized to her for not knowing which she giggled at my respectful said assuring me it was alright.

Surprising they asked if I would join their group to do some heists together. That is until Mira could get the device Blud made and send me back home. However, who know how long that would take so in the mean time I was stuck here. I sat back down on the bed to think it over.

Frank left the room to get some grub leaving Mira and me alone. I continued to think things over the best I could. I did not notice Mira had wheeled up in front of me so close her face was few feet from mine. As I looked up to see her eyes, my own rather went south to see her cleavage showing as she leaned down to look at me. I quickly reverted my eyes, which caught her attention as I heard her giggle at me. I look back at her with her smiling face then she didn't a little shake to make herself jiggle in front me of. It made me blush and laugh at the same time to see such a girl in her position make such a scene.

My laugh must have done something to her because she started rubbing my hair trying to ease me. "You may not see it now but we are in the same boat. We are a family here and as a family we work together to help each other and strangers who need help." She continues to rub my hair more. " If you need a day or two before you decide I can give you that we won't push you to answer right now. Okay?" she stops rubbing my hair but I feel her paw reach under my chin to raise it up to her cat eye gaze.

I have had a pet cat when I was a child and Mira reminded me of it so much. Her gaze was almost hypnotic to a point I swear she was trying to read my mind. I reach up to her little ears can start scratching her making her purr.

"I've always worked alone so to have a team together is going to feel different to me but I can give it a shot," I told her as I continued to scratch be hide her ear.

She continues to purr under my scratching then I felt her tail hitting my leg. " So is that a yesssss?" she says trying to sound proper.

I stop scratching her, which seem to disappoint her a bit. "Yes it is." I reply but surprise her by giving her a hug. Feeling her big breasts against my chest and her heartbeat against mine. After I let her go, she seem to blushing under her fur that she quickly pushed away back to her monitors. Her tail was swinging quickly back and forth.

Frank comes back in with a beat stick and sees Mira bright red and then back at me. He starts laughing. " Did I miss anything?"

" Well I was asked to join your thieving group and I agreed. That fine with you?" I replied "If Mira is fine with it I got no problem. Mira you alright with it?" he says to me but looks over at Mira who continued to be red but smiled anyways.

After all the introductions and storytelling we sat down for something to eat and give me the lowdown on the new Earth I been transported too.

As I figured earlier, the planet is filled with different species from different animals but they are refer to Anthromorpths. They live together alongside humans for many many years as far anyone can remember. There are no discriminations against species but it is not unheard of. Any species can get married to each other or work in the same place. Everyone is equal here and that suits me just fine.

We continue to eat then Frank speaks up. "I better tell you this now we are wanted by the cops it seems. In addition, they have one of their top officers working on the case.

Sparking my interest I ask who it was? Which Frank responds. " Her name is Hunter. Monica B. Hunter."

Being a she It caught be as surprise and as coincidence? I got few more details of what they knew of her. She was a tough lieutenant officer in the station and she always manages to track down the criminals she is signed too. She was a fox of an odd species being a rare fur colored blue. Frank goes on to say she is not violent but she uses a high-powered pistol that knock you on your ass if hit with it. And she is cute to boot which with that last remark got him slapped by Mira.

"Franky! Don't tell him that." Mira made a hatful face but made her little cute. She seen me looking at went red again. Frank continued.

"Anyways, she is bad news but it gets worse for us." Frank stopped midsentence to take a bite of his meat. Mira picks up where he left off. " She has our files. Enough information on our habits and heist that if she takes enough time she can get our names and faces with ease. At the moment the information she has is her personal laptop but if she takes it to the station and combines it with any information they already have we are looking at being discovered.

"Why don't you just hack into her system and delete the info?" I question her "I've tried but it seems she keeps it offline and not even once has she connected. She smart women who knows how to keep things." Mira looks worried as she spoke of these but she looks at me and smiles.

"Which is where you come in I hope. We were thinking of going to her house and steal her laptop and any other files she may have about anything. Then later I can hack into the stations files using her laptop and delete our whole network of personal files and.." she was about to say more but I interrupted her.

"Wait wait, you want me to break into some women's house who just happens to be the same officer who been after you guys and steal her laptop? Not to mention as Frank here has said is one tough cookie." I complain to her, which she did not seem to mind as she jumps in

"But the thing is...she doesn't know anything about you. She will not expect you, you who can sneak into her house un detected and steal it. Think of it some priceless jewels for the taking. Come on Loki. Not to mention this be good for you. Get out and get yourself known to her, let her know you are a thief here to steal things and she won't be able to do a thing. GOD I love to see her face if you did that. Plllleeeeeasse." Mira making eyes doing that thing my pet cat use to do to so I would give her a treat or something...and I usually did.

Frank did not seem too worried on the subject as he was agreeing with Mira the whole time. They both looked at me as waiting for my answer. I shook my head at them looking down at my plate of food, which they got sad looks. "So..when do we start?" I said before taking a bite of my steak which got a laugh out of them.
