Haunted houses were never quite Utambi's thing, but sometimes they go weirder then usual.

It seemed to Utambi that creating a good haunted house shouldn't be very hard. It needed to be dark, with a long winding walk and lots of things jumping out at you. It had to have things moving in the shadows and moments where you could relax between the scares so the next one was even bigger. You didn't cover the place with neon and black lights so you could see everything, or have reflective tape on all the cast members so you could see them a mile away.

Unfortunately it seemed like this haunted house had dedicated itself to doing it all exactly wrong. There was nothing creepy or scary about it and even the staff looked bored by the whole thing. It was a joke, more of a joke then the fact that he had driven three hours to come to the place on the word of his friends. He was pretty sure he wasn't going to be talking to those friends again for quite a while.

Crossing his arms over his chest the African wild dog walked down a narrow hallway, heading towards what appeared to be the exit. Much to his surprise as he neared the door it swung shut with a heavy thud that echoed around the walls. A few seconds later another door opened up to the side, slowly swinging inwards with a loud theatrical creak.

"Finally, something interesting," he said to himself as he walked through the door, the room inside was dim the only light was spilling in from the hallway and it did very little to show the way. He carefully walked forward a few more steps, stopping up short as the door slammed closed behind him dropping him into almost pure darkness.

He froze in place, waiting for his eyes to adjust to the gloom. He didn't have to wait long as a dim red glow appeared further down the hallway, bright enough that he could just see the floor ahead of him. Carefully he walked down the dark hallways, heading towards the light. The only sound he heard was the padding of his bare feet against the floor. He found himself starting to shiver under his thin shirt, the air getting colder the closer he got closer to the light.

The dim light made it hard to see much of anything, so the first Utambi knew of the spider web was when he stepped into it. It went right across his face and over his nose, making him gasp and sputter as he tried to clean it from his face. He managed to get some of it free but it still stuck in his fur. It wasn't the only web in the hallway as he continued down it he started to run into more and more of the stick webbing.

Suddenly the red light snapped off, throwing him back into the darkness again and leaving him alone among the thick webs. He waited a few moments for some other light or sign but there was nothing other than the distant sound of shuffling feet. Sadly that was all that was happening and after a minute the canine sighed and turned around to head back.

As soon as he took a step he felt the floor sag under him, his foot sinking into it as it bowed downwards. He tried to jump away but before he could move the floor simply tore away under him, sending him plumping down into the darkness. He let out a cry of shock as he fell, his body tumbling downwards as he felt himself rip through something else, which happened again and again before he broke through into some sort of chamber. He could hardly get a look at it before he hit something sticky and soft. In knocked the air out of him as he bounced and rolled down off it before landing hard on the stone floor.

All Utambi could do was lay on the floor, panting in shock as he looked up at the high ceiling above him. It took him a few moments to realizing that it was sort of cave but the roof was covered in a thick mass of spider webs. They hung between the ceiling and walls, wrapping around the stalactites and turning them a silvery white.

Slowly he sat up, finding the floor covered in just as many webs. They were so thick he could hardly see the floor and even worse they covered much of his own body. Matting into the fur and his clothing.

The wild dog climbed up to his feet and started to pull the webs off himself as he looked up to where he had fallen from. It had to have been twenty meters over his head with only the mass of webbing having broken his fall. That was lucky, but this couldn't have been where he was supposed to go.

"What kind of haunted house is this?" he asked as he pulled the webbing off his arm... and much to his shock his fur came along with it. He froze, staring at the bald spot on his arm. The skin had the same molted pattern as his fur but it didn't look right, like there was no muscles under it anymore. As he watched more of the fur started to fall off, the bald spot spreading quickly down his forearm and to his paw.

That's when things got really strange as the claws on his two middle fingers started to grow outwards and become thicker, at the same time his other fingers and thumb began to shrink. He watched in horror, his ears pressing back against his head, as his hand seemed to melt away leaving him with just too thick claws that he could wiggle slightly.

He reached out with his other paw, only to see that it was starting to change as well. It went just as fast, leaving him without any kind of hands at all.

"No," he whispered, a shiver running through his body as he tucked his tail against his legs.

"Yes," a voice replied in the same whisper but it seemed to hang in the air around him for far longer than it should have. He looked around the cavern, searching for the source of the sound but he was still alone in the cave.

Utambi looked back down at his arms, the changes were still progressing, running up his arms and over his elbows. He could see the outline of his muscles starting to fade away as the fur fell to the floor. Even the shape of his elbow seemed to change, becoming more soft and rounded. He found himself unable to look away as the changes went higher, frozen in shock.

That ended moment later when he felt something on his sides. It wasn't quite like pain... more like his fur was twisting and pushing against his short. For a moment he was reminded of how the bones had moved when he had broken his leg as a child, but even that wasn't the right description.

The strange pressure grew stronger and he tried to reach out to feel them but his new arms just waved in front of him, the twin claws useless to do anything. All he could do was watch as the sides of his shirt started to bulge outwards as the pressure grew stronger and stronger. All he could do was let out a low whine as the growths pushed out from under shirt to reveal another pair of claws attached to what looked like another pair of arms.

He watched in horror as the new limbs grew long and longer, stretching upwards out from his body. A moment later a third pair appeared under them, growing just as quickly and just as long. When they finally seemed to stop growing they were almost two meters long. Even worse he could start feeling the fur falling away from his legs.

"Stop, please stop," he begged the cave around him, not that there was anyone to beg to.

Much to his surprise the whispered voice returned, echoing around the cave. "No... you are mine."

With a cry he pitched forward as his legs gave out, coming to rest of his six strange arms. Craning his head around he tried to look at his legs but all he could see was his pants as they started to ripple and sag. Even as he watched he saw his feet starting to change, the toes shrinking just like his fingers had. In a short time his feet vanished becoming the same things as his hands.

Then with a sick realization he understood what he was becoming. He found himself clawing at the web covered floor with his eight new legs as he cried out to the voice in the darkness. "Don't turn me into a spider, please!"

A wind rippled through the cave, the webbing swaying from side to side and then bunching together, gathering up into the outline of a giant spider head. It looked down at him, mandibles twitching slightly before it let out a deep laugh that seemed to press down against him, forcing his body to the floor.

As soon as his belly was pressed to the ground he felt the changes came again, starting with his tail. He could feel the fur starting to fall away as it swelled outwards, causing it to grow longer and thicker. The pressure was growing at the base of his tail, his pants pinching around it as it became thicker with every passing moment. Soon the button over his tail tore open, relieving the pressure and allowing the growth to surge outwards.

The release lasted for only a few moments as his tail kept getting wider. It felt like it was merging with his ass while forcing his legs forward. His underwear started to grow tighter and tighter across his rear before tearing open.

Utambi finally forced himself to look back, letting out a cry at what he saw. His tail wasn't a tail anymore, it was the abdomen of a spider and it was growing larger by the moment. A low whimper escaped his lips and he felt himself starting to cry but no tears seemed to come. Instead to watched as the very tip of what had once been his tail started to pinch and rippling, reforming into something he had never seen before... but he knew it was to spin a web.

He closed his eyes, trying to block out the image as he felt a pressure on the center of his body. Like someone was grabbing his shoulders and pulling them down towards his ass. A series of pops echoed out from deep inside of his chest as it started to collapse downwards, compressing to bring all eight legs together while forcing his shirt upwards around his neck and shoulders. Not that his neck was there for much longer, finally merging into the back of his head.

The former canine let out a low whine of desperation as the changes started over his head and face. He pressed his ears down into his head only to feel them shrink down into nothing. His muzzle started to plus and swell as his teeth were sucked back into his jaw, followed a moment later by his tongue. With a feeling of pressure and a wet sound his muzzle pulled apart down the middle, the fur falling away as former jaw started to reform into a pair of large mandibles, each one tipped by a thick claw.

Lastly his face started to change and swell outwards, the last of his fur falling away as his eyes grew larger and started to bulge out of his head. His eyelids faded away as he felt pressure around his face before six more eyes pushed free, breaking the surface and into the dim light of the cave.

And then as fast as it had started it was over, and all that was left of the wild dog was a giant spider wrapped in ill-fitting clothing. Utambi had a few moments to think about this before the voice returned but this time inside of his head.

"You are mine, and you will bring me more servants and food," it whispered, sounded content with herself. For a flash of a moment he debated fighting the orders, but as soon as the thought crossed his mind his mind was changed into that of a spider.

Ripping the clothing off, the former mammal went to do his queen's bidding.
