REBORN

"...And that's why the Shao-Lin monks based their fighting styles off of animals." concluded Mr. Hillman right as the dismissal bell rang.

"Uhh...don't forget the test tomorrow on the Ancient Chinese Military!" He called quickly to his exiting students.

James let out a large, disgruntled sigh. "We have a freaking test every week! Won't he give us a break?!"he said loudly.

"I don't think he will, dude!" said a familiar voice.

James looked back through the throngs of loud people. "HEY! TOMMY!" he yelled.

James watched his stout, buzz-headed friend push through the dense crowd. "Where were you yesterday?" James asked while giving Tommy a high five.

"Hah! I was at home fixing a slight problem." Tommy said, trying to hold in immense laughter. James could tell that he was about to burst.

"Heh...what was the problem?" he said smiling. They began to make their way to the outer steps. "Well...let's just say that I had a water leak." Said Tommy.

"Water leak?" asked James.

"I had water up to my friggin knees!" Tommy said. Both of them exploded in a bout of crazy laughter. Tommy and James rounded the last corner before the exit door.

"So what are you going to do after school?" Tommy asked. James sighed,

"Well...I have to study for that idiotic test in Mr. Hillman's class...then I have to finish my Algebra homework, mow my lawn, and finally finish some paperwork."

"Oh goodie!" Tommy said sarcastically.

"Yeah...I know..."James chuckled.

They stepped through the exit doors and let their book bags fall to the ground. James sat against the rail with his arm propped up on one knee. He looked over to the right and caught a glimpse of something moving in the woods behind the school. It was dark in color with a smooth metallic sheen to it.

"Hey...do you see that?" James asked, pointing in the direction of the dark object.

"What?" Tommy whirled around to look. As soon as Tommy turned around, the thing was gone.

"What?...I don't see anything..." Tommy said puzzled.

"I could have sworn that I saw something that looked like a panther!" James yelled.

"Dude...all that paperwork is wearing on your nerves!" Tommy stressed.

"I guess you're right." James sighed. End-of-school traffic was beginning to thin out.

"I guess I'd better head home and get all of this paperwork done." James grumbled. He hoisted his heavy book bag up onto his shoulder and strided down the stairs.

"See ya James!" Tommy called. James gave a small wave and began walking down the long row of parking spaces to his car.

He dug around in his pocket for his keys. Before he inserted the key into the lock, he felt a pair of arms wrap around him.

"What the..." he yelled as he quickly whipped around to see who it was. He found a blonde haired, blue eyed girl looking up at him.

"Oh! Hey Kim! I didn't recognize you!" said James happily.

"I didn't see you all day!" Kim scolded.

"I'm sorry...I had to take care of a test that I missed..." James apologized.

"Aww...it's ok." She replied. James brushed her hair out of her eyes and their warm, moist lips met with a small spark of fiery passion.

"Hm...you have always been a good kisser." Kim giggled.

"I try..."James laughed.

"Well," James sighed, "I have a ton of things I have to get done today...I really wish I could stay-"James said, but Kim cut him off.

"Oh, that's fine...I have somewhere I have to be too..." she said choppily.

"Ok then...I'll see you later!" James said.

"Bye!" said Kim, and she turned and began walking back up to the school. How odd, Kim has never been so quick to say goodbye before. James wondered what was up, but then passed it off as just nothing.

James pulled open the car door and tossed his book bag inside. Just then he heard a rustling in the leaves behind the chain-link fence. He looked up into the small thicket. The only thing that he saw was a few shaking branches and whirling leaves. "Hmm...Must have been a deer or something." He said to himself. James slid into his car and turned the ignition. The small four cylinder hummed to life, and he headed home.

Once inside, James dropped his bag and slumped down into his and his dad's favorite armchair. He let out a relaxing sigh. "Finally home and able to take a little break." He thought. He pulled the small, wooden lever back, activating the leg rest. He gave a deep sigh and laid back in the overstuffed chair.

The forest was cool and lush. James lifted his head and felt a cool breeze rush through his hair. This is where he belongs, not the hard edged buildings of civilization. James broke into a run. He had no idea where he was going, he just wanted to feel free. Trees and leaves whooshed by as he increased his speed. For the first time, he felt...reborn. He felt reborn with a new spirit, one that was far greater than the one he previously possessed. He liked this new feeling of liberation. His pace increased a little more every step. Nothing can stop him now! Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder. Then everything dissolved into a cloud of silvery dust.

James awoke on the cold, hardwood floor. He must have fallen out of his chair while he was asleep. He rolled over on his back and laughed at himself, "Man...what an idiot!" He pushed himself up and stood. How long was he asleep? James read the clock on the microwave. It read 6:30 PM.

"I guess I should get on my homework." He grumbled. James picked up his bag and headed into his room.

He was nearly finished with the last logarithmic equation when his phone rang. "Hello?" James answered blankly.

"Hello James, this is John Argos." The voice said.

"Yes..." James replied uneasily.

"I need you to come outside." Said John.

"Why?" James demanded.

"I will explain everything eventually...we just need you to come outside." John replied calmly. James was worried. Who is this John Argos guy, and what does he want? He has not made anyone his enemy. He certainly has not committed a crime! Why would someone want him outside his house?

"Ok..."James answered warily, and he shut his phone. He grabbed his knife off of the night stand, and walked to the front door.

"Be prepared..."he said to himself, and he opened the door.

Nobody was there. "Wha?" James gaped. Who could have called him? Could they possibly be far away? Is this some kind of prank? Question after question ran through his mind. He pinched himself to make sure he still wasn't dreaming. James turned on his heel and went back inside.

After a minute or two, he heard his dogs barking madly at something in the woods behind his house. "What are they barking at THIS time?" He thought to himself.

He figured that it was just an animal or something since the sun was starting to set. Still, he didn't want his dogs to annoy his neighbors. He opened the back door to throw them a snack, but what he saw was unbelievable. Four figures were walking from the woods towards his house. The figures didn't look like they were human. What in the world could they be? James was confused and scared at the same time. One was wearing a stained white robe with red markings. The robed character didn't have any shoes on, and despite the rather cold weather, his robe seemed rather thin. The other three, which appeared to be female, wore clothes that resembled ones that humans wore. James was torn. Should he go down there and find out who they are? Should he go inside and wait until they are gone?

It was a tough decision, but James opted to risk encountering them. He drew a deep breath and made his way toward the figures.

"Hey! Is anyone of you John Argos?" James called. All four figures looked up at him. James's mind was commanding him to run, but his legs just wouldn't budge. As the group drew closer, he could pick out more details. One of the first details he noticed was the fact that all of them had fur! Each individual had a different marking pattern, and each one seemed to be of a different species! James was frozen in awe. What are they? That thought ran through his mind endlessly until they were within touching distance.

The females looked at James as if they knew him. James met their gaze with confusion and excitement.

"Hello, James." Said the white robed man. James snapped out of his awe induced hypnotism and replied, "G-good evening sir..."

"I am the man you spoke with earlier." Said the man.

"You are Mr. Argos?" queried James.

"Just call me Argos, please. Allow me to you introduce you to my friends." The man gestured toward the three females. They flicked and waved their tales as Argos introduced each of them.

He said, "This is Shira." The grey, spotted leopardess flicked her tail and said, "Hello James...", and she stepped toward him and gave him a small peck on the cheek. Her voice and looks were absolutely enticing as were all of the females. James didn't know what to do.

He responded, "Thank you." With a faint smile.

"This is Aeris." Argos pointed to a red-orange colored vixen.

"Hi..." she said softly and embraced him with her tail. Her fur was silky and smooth to the touch.

"Hi, Aeris." James replied.

"And this is Saia." Argos gestured toward a dark grey she-wolf.

"Hey James..." She said. Saia extended a hand. James took hers and was suddenly pulled into her body. Their warm lips met with an explosion of passion. James couldn't do anything except kiss her back.

She released the embrace and said to the other girls,

"Your right! He is a good kisser!" All the girls giggled quietly.

Argos smiled and explained, "James, there is a reason that we are here."

James cut in, "Uh...before we get any farther...would you like to come inside and have a drink or something?"

The females followed closely behind James and Argos brought up the rear.

James stopped right before he opened the door to his house and said, "ummm...My parents are going to be here in the next hour...so we may have to hide or run..."

"Don't worry, we know what to do..." Said Argos prophetically. James gave an affirmative nod and opened the door.

Once inside, James set to work on preparing his guests' drinks. "Hey James?" called Saia.

"Yeah!" James answered. He turned around to look at her and was mesmerized by her deep, emerald-eyed gaze. Saia gestured him to come to the couch.

"Ok...just give me one second..." He said as he set the glasses on the tray. He carefully walked and tried to avoid spilling on his mother's precious rug. He set the tray down on the coffee table in front of them. All of them thanked him in their own special way. Shira kissed him on the cheek...again. Aeris brushed her tail up against him. And Saia looked at him playfully, then winked. All James could do is just smile and say, "You're welcome."

"James...thank you for the refreshments. Why don't you take a seat and we can talk." Argos gestured. All three ladies were sitting on the soft couch identical to James's, his father's, and now Argos's favorite chair, with room to spare! James sat in between Aeris and Saia. The feeling of their fur against his bare skin activated a part of him that he never knew he had. It was that same liberating feeling he had in his dream! James's eyes lit up and he smirked a little.

Argos noticed this and said, "Ah...you already know don't you?"

"Know what?"James asked.

"That you had a different destiny." Argos said as he sipped his hot tea. It was odd watching a wolf-like creature drinking from a cup.

"Well...I always knew that I was different from everyone else..."James pondered. The ladies apparently knew that this was going to be a long conversation, and they went to explore the rest of the house. Shira ran the tip of her tail across his face as she got up. Once again the feeling of freedom washed over him.

"James, you have an untapped power within you." said Argos deeply, "Our race, the Atlanteans, have survived alongside of your kind for hundreds of years. However, we are a dying race. We are being hunted by people of your kind."

James was aghast. "WHY?!" he said in surprise.

"It is extermination. Most of your kind are very fearful, and when they get fearful, their first instinct is to destroy whatever scares them."

"That's true." Jace agreed.

"As an Atlantean priest, I was put in the position to find a savior for our race."

"Wait a minute...If all of you guys are Atlantean...then that means that you came from that continent that sunk into the ocean right?"

"Yes."

"Weren't the inhabitants human?"

"Not totally, the population was mostly comprised of beings like me and the ladies."

"Oh..."

"We have been keeping an eye on you ever since you were a little cub. Well...technically I have, the girls grew up alongside of you."

"Alongside of me?!"

"We are able to cloak ourselves as humans. I put a cloak on all the girls until I gave you that call today. You have come to know them as humans up until now, and it is finally time to reveal to you your true calling."

"My-my calling?" James stuttered.

"Please stand up." Argos commanded. Something was about to happen, James felt it.

"Give me your hand." Said Argos as he raised a clawed paw. James was not afraid. He slowly raised his hand to match the wolf's.

For the third, and final time, the feeling of liberation flooded through James. However, this time it was in full force. The power that swirled around him was immense, almost uncontrollable! He saw the forest again! He felt like running free and untamed forever! Nothing could stop him now! His body pulsed and surged with his new power. Slowly, the energy settled down and dissipated into small, silvery dust particles. James was so out of breath he could barely get out one word, "Woah..."

Argos put a hand on James's back. "Are you allright?"He asked.

"Yeah...I'm...fine." James said through deep breaths.

He opened his eyes and he couldn't believe what he saw. His arms were jet black, his hands had razor sharp claws, and he had fur! He went to a nearby mirror. He saw a dark wolf with a red crescent crest on his chest. "Is this really...Me?" James asked in disbelief. He caught a sweet scent in the air.

He turned to face the ladies and Argos. All of the ladies were staring at him. James knew that their stares meant one of two things; either lust, or awe. It was both. "Do I have to stay like this?" asked James while tugging at his fur.

"No, like all Atlanteans, you can switch forms. All you have to do is think of the form you want to be." Answered Argos.

"What are the forms?" James asked while whipping his tail around.

"Ladies...if you would please." Argos gestured. All three of them nodded and changed into different forms. Shira stayed the way she was, the Atlantean's true form. Aeris was on all fours, she was her animal equivalent, a red vixen. Saia became a human...not just any human though. James had to do a double take. "KIM!?!?" He screamed.

She smiled and said, "Hi...James..." He went up to her and nervously embraced her.

"You had some place to be huh?" He whispered warmly into her ear. She laughed and brushed the hair from his eyes and kissed him. There could not have been a more perfect moment for that kiss. An electric blue aura began to swirl around him and then it dissipated when they released each other.

They all switched to their human forms; James back to his normal blonde haired, grey eyed self, Argos into a tall, dark skinned man with a mustache. "Oh and by the way...have you studied for my test yet?" Argos said. How much surprise can one body take? It was Mr.Hillman!

James burst into hysterical laughter. "HAHAHAHA!!!...I was too busy talking to you!" James laughed. Shira transformed into another one of James's school friends Coco. He gave her a big hug and picked her up off of her feet. He sat her down laughing.

Finally, Aeris shifted into yet another familiar face. "Brittany?! HAHA!! Oh my god!" James grinned. She gave him a cute wink and a wave.

"Your new destiny will unfold as you continue on. None of us know where it is going to lead us...but-"Argos began to explain. Suddenly the euphoric happiness was ended by the loud hum of the garage door motor. "Oh shit! My parents!" James panicked.

"Don't worry we are in human form..."Argos began.

"No, that won't work! I'm not supposed to have anyone over on weekdays!" James explained.

"What do we do?" Asked Saia. There was panic in her voice. James knew that if his parents caught him with his new friends, they'd have his head. What could he do? He heard the van door shut. "In my room!...now!" James commanded quietly.

Once in his room, James shut and locked the door. "Ok...Ummm...",he pondered as he paced the floor, "I will...got talk to my parents...you guys stay in here, keep the door locked...and whatever you do...do NOT make a sound!"

Argos, Saia, Shira, and Aeris all gave an affirmative nod.

James waited until Mom called his name.

"James! Where are you? Your dad and I need to talk to you!" She called.

"I'll be right there!" James replied. This was going to be one hell of secret to keep from them. If they found out, there is no telling what they would do.

"Well...here goes nothing." He whispered to his friends. James opened and shut the door quickly, locking it behind him. "What are you doing?" Mom asked curiously.

James had to think of something quick. "Uhh...preparing your anniversary gift." He answered. James figured that excuse was the best one, since Mom and Dad's anniversary was two days away.

"Really?", Mom criticized, "Is that why all of my pictures are knocked over?"

"Yeah...I accidentally hit them with the wrapping paper roll." James explained.

"Aww...how nice of you!" Mom praised as she hugged him tightly.

The hug was so tight that James could barely get out, "You're welcome."

James was extremely relieved that his mom trusted him! Hopefully, he won't accidentally switch form in front of her. That wouldn't be good.

"What I was going to say was...Your father and I have been saving up for a big vacation for the two of us."

"Uh-Huh..."James nodded.

"We have enough money to stay in the Caribbean for four weeks!"

"Wow! That's awesome!" He agreed, and wondered if any of that money was his college fund.

"When are you planning to leave?" He asked.

"Well...we would like to go as soon as we can..." Mom pondered.

Maybe he can persuade them to leave that evening.

"How soon? Like 'right now' soon?" He urged.

"How did you know?!" Mom scolded.

"I-I didn't...I was just asking!" He whimpered.

"Oh its allright, look, Dad and I both are trusting you...Do you promise not to destroy the place?" She said with a stern look.

"I will not destroy the place." James repeated.

"Good...I love you! Oh and you can give us our present when we get back." Mom said and kissed him on the forehead.

"I love you too Mom." James replied. Mom grabbed herself a quick drink from the fridge and made her way down the steps.

He pulled back the curtains and watched them drive off. A grand sigh of relief exited James's body. "OK guys! It's all clear!" James yelled. His friends walked into the living room and plopped into the couches and chair. They all wore their Atlantean forms.

"We heard everything. You handled that very well!" Argos commented as the girls chatted amongst themselves.

"So...what now?" queried James.

"Well, I have to report to my High Priest to inform him of you now..."Argos said.

"Will they go with you?" James asked as he looked at Aeris and Shira. He really hoped that they didn't have to go. He wanted to get to know the girls better.

"No they don't have to.", Argos assured, "They can stay here and keep you company...after all...I won't be back until two days."

"Oh...that's good!" James replied thoughtfully.

Argos smiled and said, "I guess I'd better get going...the sooner the better!" He nodded towards the girls.

"Remember James, you have more responsibility now...use your powers wisely!" Argos said as he morphed into his animal form, a silver-grey timber wolf.

"Goodbye! And be safe!" the girls and James all said in unison. James opened the front door, and Argos sauntered out. James was about to close the door when Argos looked back and gave James a slight nod. James returned the nod, and Argos ran off into the night.

James turned around and faced the girls. "Please make yourself at home!" James announced with outstretched arms. They responded with smiles.

What a day! At first he thought that it was going to be a normal day, but then it turned out to be the most eventful day of his life! So much excitement has made him sweat. "Man...I need a shower!" he said to himself.

He pulled his shirt and pants off and threw them down onto his bedroom floor. Before he entered the shower, he stopped in front of the mirror to look at himself one more time. His chest bore the same crescent symbol that his Atlantean form did, and his eyes were now a dark, honey color. "Man...I'm gonna have a tough time explaining this tomorrow." James laughed. He threw his towel on the towel rack and stepped into the shower.

James, all soaking wet, was singing the ending to Delilah by the Plain White T's as he opened the shower curtain. The last thing James expected to see in the bathroom was Aeris.

"Aeris...What are you doing in here?!" he yelled.

"I heard you singing...and I liked it." Aeris blushed.

In all reality, James didn't mind her company at all.

"Oh...I'm not that great..."James said.

"You are good enough for me..."Aeris mused.

"Thanks." He said as he smiled. He lifted the towel up to his head and face to dry his hair. He rubbed the towel rapidly all over his head and face. "Whew...ok...now I'm done.", James said,"Do you need in the shower?"

"Yeah..." Aeris smiled as she ran her silky tail across James's chest. The feeling ran over him like a waterfall. He shuddered in pleasure.

"Where are Shira and Saia?" He asked smoothly. At the moment he was turned around looking for his toothbrush.

"Oh...they went out..." She said.

He turned around and was almost knocked into tomorrow. He never thought that he would see someone as gorgeous as this vixen naked! James looked her up and down in sheer awe and...well...lust. Her markings followed her hourglass figure all the way down to her feet, and her perfectly round breasts melded onto her sleek frame seamlessly. James finally realized what he was doing and quickly turned away.

"I-I'm so sorry..."James said excitedly while trying to hide his erection.

Aeris just stood and giggled softly, "It's okay! You don't have to be ashamed."

"Yeah...I know...but-" James began, but he was stopped by a warm feeling on his back. Aeris wrapped her arms and tail around him, squeezing her supple breasts against his back, and allowing him to feel her warm fur. James was frozen in a paradise. He closed his eyes and thought of how lucky he was. "Aeris..."He tried to say. She kissed and nipped at his neck. He gave small gasps of pleasure at each kiss.

After holding him for a minute or two, and with a final kiss, she released her warm embrace.

James, as red as an apple, faced Aeris and said, "That was...awesome." There was an awkward silence for a minute.

"Well I'm gonna get into bed...I have a test to take tomorrow." He said softly. Aeris smiled and stepped into the shower.

A whirlwind of emotions that he has never felt before swam through James's body. The euphoria of arousal mixed with nervous excitement in the sinews of muscles. On a whim, he dropped the towel and morphed into his animal equivalent, a jet black wolf with the same red crest on his chest. He burst out the back door and stood staring at the full moon. James inhaled deeply. "ROOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" He called. The magical sound echoed throughout the neighborhood. He didn't expect to be answered by another wolf, then another, and another! Pretty soon over 20 wolves joined in on the triumphant call! He listened to the other wolves call and gave a finalizing howl that topped all the other calls.

"This is who I am!", He called to the wolves, "I have finally broken free of my human bonds and ascended higher!"

James morphed back into his now improved human form. He still looked the same with the same hair color and skin tone, but he did have the crest upon his chest and more muscle. He went back inside and left the other wolves in the forest to carry on the call.

Aeris was still in the shower. Who could blame her? After all, she does have all that fur to maintain. James pulled down the covers of his bed and slid quietly in. He listened to the running of the water and imagined her in the shower, hot steaming water flowing over all of her supple curves.

He wanted to be in there with her so badly. His member swelled with eager agreement.

"Is this what love feels like?" He thought to himself. He began to recite a poem that he memorized,

"My heart aches for thee,

My eyes weep for thee,

My hands long for thee,

For thou art mine and,

I art thou."

The flow of water ceased. She was finally done. James closed his eyes and slowly began to slip into a peaceful slumber. He drifted in between consciousness and unconsciousness, barely aware of the new presence in his room.

James felt his bed and covers move. What was it? Who was it? A warmth came upon his back.

A soft, feminine voice said, "James..."

James replied, "Aeris?", then shifted to his other side to face her. Her eyes sparkled as the soft moonlight trickled in through the bedroom window.

"Aeris..." James sighed. He placed his hand on her soft cheek. They both could feel each other's warm breath. He pulled her close to him and caressed her light body against his muscular frame. Both of their hearts were beating hard.

"James..."whispered Aeris.

"Yeah?" He replied.

"I want you to be mine..."she said.

"Then I will..."James said, and kissed her deeply feeling every inch of her body with his hands. Her warm lips wrapped around his as she felt every inch of him.

They worked in perfect harmony. Where James would kiss and nibble her neck, Aeris would explore him even more while running her tail over his bare skin. Where Aeris would pin him down on the bed with her on top, James would gently caress her soft breasts.

Their positions switched. James was now on top. He was shaking in excitement, "Are you ready?" he asked, his voice quivering.

"Yeah..." Aeris sighed contently.

James inserted his member in between her lips and slowly slid forward. Aeris whimpered in a mix of pain and pleasure. This was her first time, as was James's.

"I hope I am easy enough for you..." James said breathing heavily.

"Oh! You...are!" Aeris said through intermittent gasps of pleasure.

James began to pump slowly in and out, he felt every inch of her body tremble in pleasure. "What did I do to deserve this?" breathed James as he was slowly increasing the pace.

Aeris gasped and said, "Nothing, honey...absolutely nothing." James laughed and steadily began to push deeper into her, emitting short sighs at the end of each thrust. Their natural lubricants flowed freely between their legs as James plunged deeper and deeper. He lay down on top of her slowly, feeling her nipples press against his chest.

Suddenly Aeris jumped, scaring James which made him pull out. "What? What is it?" James asked concerned. They both peered down at their parts where they saw blood.

"D-Did I...?" stuttered James.

Still breathing from the sudden jolt of sensation, Aeris said, "Yes...Yes you did..." She pulled James back down to her and guided his erect member into her again. James knew what happened, and he also knew what Aeris wanted.

Their breathing became more intense. Aeris felt her G-spot being touched again, again, and again by James. And every time, she would let out a small sigh that was louder than the others. James was panting hard as he tried to go as deep as he could go. He has reached his maximum size and was starting to feel a welling-up in his loins. They were matching each other in movement and breathing.

Ultimate pleasure was spilling forth that night as the Moon centered itself in the middle of the bedroom window which cast a soft light onto both bodies as they continued to pleasure each other.

Aeris began to cry out in pleasure as an uncontrollable sensation pulsed through her legs. James breathed harder and harder as an overpowering urge surged through him. At exactly 12:00 AM, they both yelled out in unison. Aeris's tail quivered as she ejaculated onto James's loins, and James arched backward, then locked his lips around hers thrusting both moist members into both orifices as Aeris continued to squirm in euphoric pleasure.

James released his lips from hers and held himself up with his arms. Aeris's deep blue eyes glistened in the moonlight as she tried to say, "James...I-"

James placed a finger on her lips. "Let's not spoil this moment with speech..." He said softly. He rolled over on his left side and pulled her close.

They did not say another word. They just lay there, holding each other, wishing that that night would ever end.

In the distance, one lone wolf made a high pitched call, signaling the bond between two lovers.

No one can stop them now.
