Sorry for the long wait, but damn did this story take a while. Been trying writing complex sentences less often, but no idea how well I did with that. xD...

Been wanting to do a story with a herm in it for a long while and doing a story for FA: kinkywolf was a perfect excuse to give it a try. Just hope it came out well ^-^;

Would LOVE to hear any and all feedback/opinions/etc etc etc so please comment with them!

Lyra and Kiranti (c) FA: kinkywolf

Edited by Spazz

Smoke rose from the mouth of Mt. Rashar, away from the bubbling molten rock with-in the towering mountain, to meet an ever growing cloud far above the barren dry lands. Though not all would say the land was completely barren. True the lack of wild animals among the sea of near never ending dried yellow grass, and dusty sun baked earth, seemed to contradict such a notion, the small tribe living here for generations knew the secrets to survive in the place they called home.

Living near a stream of the life-giving water that allowed them to live at the base of the volcano, everyone within the small wolven clan were busy finishing preparations for something their ancestors had gone through ages before. Fully aware of the dangers presented to them by the volcano, no one seemed to pay much attention to it for long, while they toiled away under the evening sun.

Several tribe members took to gathering wood and fruits from the handful of trees growing near the river bank, and added the branches they retrieved to the raging bonfire in the center of their encampment. A handful of others skinned and cleaned the small nocturnal animals from yesterday's hunt, before cooking them on the fire. Occasionally a few looked towards the smoke rising from the volcano for a few moments, before going back to what they were doing. That was until an ear deafening rumble caused everyone to freeze up.

Moments afterwards, before even a few of the villagers had a chance to turn towards the source of the noise, the earth beneath their feet began to shake violently. Although the sudden tremors were starting to become a daily occurrence since the volcano became active, tossed nearly everyone in the tribe was to the ground.

The few tribesmen and women who kept from falling managed to stumble over, and throw themselves atop any kinsmen closest to them, in hopes of keeping that person safe from any possible falling debris. As soon as it started, the world they lived on settled back down leaving an eerie silence in its place.

"Is everyone alright?" Came a gruff male voice after several long moments of waiting for the earth to shake once more. A mixed murmur of 'yes' and 'we're alright' was all the tribe members responded with after managing to get back onto their feet.

"Good." Groaned a white furred wolf while a slightly aged wolfess helped him off the ground.

"Are you okay, Tsak?" Asked the female wolf once the white furred male was steady on his feet. Brushing, Tsak let out a soft chuckle.

"I'm fine Etzil," Tsak chucked, brushing off some of the dust that clung to his lean form. "That was just a little shaking."

"A little shaking?" She retorted, pointing a scraggy, gray fur covered, finger to the bonfire and several burning sticks that had rolled far too close to a couple of the leather made tents.

"Ah... well..." He started, finishing getting the dirt off his body. "Chal, Ajak, get those away from the tents and make sure nothing in that fire'll move if the ground starts shaking again."

"See, everything's fine." Tsak said gesturing to two gray wolves carefully moving the sticks back. Etzil immediately let out an irritated sigh as Tsak turned to face her. Firmly taking hold of her shoulders, he smiled softly at her when their eyes locked.

"You worry far too much. Try and relax okay?"

"Tsak, you do see that right?" Etzil gestured to the smoke rising from the volcano.

"Do you realize that thing hasn't done that since Kalak led this clan, when our grandparent were still children, don't you? How can you not be worried?"

"Because Jajil has kept whatever manner of beast in there, in there, and he'll have the strength to _keep_it in there after the ceremony. Now before you go saying I rely on Jajil far more than I should - and I have to admit, I kind of do - ask me where I sent Tzos and Izal."

"I don't see a point to that, but fine," She sighed, crossing her arms under her exposed breasts. "Where did you send those two?" Tsak grinned wide as he looked down at her, seemingly not bothered, or transfixed, by her half naked form after growing up around others who only wore the simple loincloth around their wasit.

"I sent them off to the Namal tribe in the forest for any aid they can give us, just incase things don't work out like we hope."

The look on Etzil's face after hearing that had Tsak grinning even wider as she stared at him astonishment.

"You... you actually did that? Well now... here I thought Jajil made a mistake by making you chieftain."

"Oh really?" Tsak snorted. "And do you think someone can do better than me as chieftain?"

"I can think of a few people that might do better." She replied with a shrug.

"Where are you off too?" Tsak asked watching Etzil make her way to a tent decorated with various animal skulls and simple, painted on, hand prints. After telling a passing black wolf something that had him heading towards the trees along the river, she gave a quick glance over her shoulder.

"I was in the middle of a ritual before the ground started shaking, and now I need to start it over again. And as shaman, I do have duties to finish up before tonight."

***

Watching the sun slowly begin its decent across the sky, Lyra let out a weary sigh. Two days of hard, near non-stop, work had left most of the people she knew exhausted; though Tsak's promise of the start of a new age (coupled with his enthusiasm) was enough to keep everyone going.

Moving towards one of the lush trees growing near her village, she reached out with a slim red furred arm and broke off a handful of small branches. No sooner had each snapped off with a sharp crack, the wood immediately began reforming the missing limb back. Meer seconds had passed before new branches fully formed, looking oddly like the ones Lyra now held against her trim stomach. A small smile crossed her face remembering the years long since passed, when she was just a cub marveling at one of the blessings Jajil bestowed her tribe.

"Hey, you okay Lyra?" Asked a male voice behind her. Turning on her heels to face whoever was addressing her, the smile on her lips grew a bit wider once she saw who it was.

Briskly walking towards her was a tall black wolf, only half a head taller than herself, wearing a simple animal skin loincloth that looked to be slightly too small for his size. Though he was lean like everyone in their tribe, the black lupine still had a fairly muscular body thanks to countless hours of training to fight on the rare chance a neighboring tribe might attack. However, the odds of that happening while Jajil watched over them were slim to none.

"I'm fine Kiranti," she replied as he stopped a few feet away from her "just a bit tired is all."

He just let out a soft chuckle, plucking several verities of fruit off of the tree. Warmth rose in her cheeks as she watched the toned muscles of his broad shoulders shift underneath that sleek fur, and continue down to his surprisingly narrow waist. It wasn't until she heard him say something, that she realized she had been staring for a bit_too_ long when he turned around to face her again.

"Guess it's a good thing Etzil's starting the ceremony as soon as she gets these." He said gesturing to the fruit with his free hand, excitement rich in his voice.

"Why does she need those?" Lyra asked, thankful her bright red could hide the blush on her cheeks.

Kiranti simply shrugged. "No idea what she'd use these for; you know she doesn't like telling people what she does in that tent of hers." Lyra didn't get a chance to respond when the sharp bellow rang out from their village that caught their attention.

"Sounds like Tsak is calling everyone." Moving past the wolfess Kiranti made a quick motion with his head towards the circle of tents. "Coming with, sis?"

"Yeah." Lyra nodded following her brother.

"So," She started, quickening her pace to keep up with Kiranti as another bellow rang out. "you think mom and dad would be nervous about everything that's been going on, if they were here?"

"Probably be just as nervous as everyone else; especially since the clan's stories say someone must be given up for Jajil to continue protecting us."

Lyra nodded in silent agreement. Though there were many stories passed down through the generations to when it was first formed, barely a handful talked about Bevyt - the start of the new age. And in each of these stories, someone was chosen by Jajil to travel into the raging mountain they lived near in order to give themselves to him.

Unfortunately none of the stories mentioned what happened to those who went into the mountain, except that they never returned. And although they weren't seen or heard from again, many members of her tribe didn't believe Jajil to be an evil god. At least not in the sense that he wished them harm. After all, not only has he always protected them as much as he could from both natural dangers and dangers from others of their kind, he ensured they always had plenty of food and water so they never died from thirst or starvation like their nomadic ancestors had. Even with the prospect of, once again, being protected there was still an underlying sense of worry in the air.

Who will he choose next? Who amongst them will leave to whatever fate had in store for them?

Lyra let out a soft sigh while she continued walking. 'What if he picks someone's mother? Or father?'

Though the stories always mentioned the family of which the chosen person came from, none that went to Jajil were ever a parent to a child. Still, there was always the chance it_might_ happen.

If it did, Lyra hoped the parent's cub wouldn't be as heartbroken loosing a parent, like she and her brother were for loosing both of theirs. Then again, their parents were attacked by a roaming Achaierai passing through the area while they were out hunting animals.

Not wanting to dwell on the past Lyra glanced up off the ground, surprised to find herself standing with Kiranti in front of Etzil's tent.

"I don't think she's going to need those." Kiranti smirked, looking over the bundle of wood in her arms.

"Oh, right. I'll, uhh, go put these with the rest." She said, still distracted by her thoughts, but as she started to make her way to the stack of wood a firm hold on her shoulder stopped her.

"Hey, I know you're nervous about tonight Lyra; gods below I'm nervous about it too, but like I said earlier_everyones'_ nervous. No good comes from letting nerves get to you. Try and relax a bit okay?"

Lyra gave a short nod and just before she had any chance to respond, the flaps on Etzil's tent flew open and the occupant inside stumbled out. Both siblings stared at the wide eyed gray wolfess, wide eyed and muttering something nether sibling understood, as she stopped in between them. Several other tribe members, who were busy setting up a handful of simple drums, noticed her as well and stopped as well; curious as to what she might do.

Whatever they were expecting, however, certainty wasn't for their shaman to turn towards Kiranti and grab as many of the fruit he carried as she could.

"Are you alright?" Kiranti asked once Etzil took everything he was tasked to get.

"Am I?" She muttered looking up at him. He didn't notice it at first, due to the wolfess not standing at an angle for him to look at her properly, but now he that could see her face, a small shiver ran up his spine.

Only a handful of minutes had passed since she asked him to get those fruits, and she had seemed perfectly fine went he left. Now though, he wondered if some small poisonous animal slipped into her tent and bit her without anyone noticing. Both of her eyes were almost completely bloodshot red, and dark enough to rival is own ruby red eyes, and glossed over. Each exhale of breath that passed her lips turned into a shaky pant, followed by a shallow gasp of air, and was shaking fairly hard from her ears to tail.

He didn't have much time to look over Etzil by the time she turned her attention to his sister, murmuring something about being cleansed under her breath. Surprisingly quick despite how she looked, Etzil snatched the wood Lyra was carrying and turned back to her tent heading inside before anyone had a chance to stop her.

Kiranti and Lyra stared at each other for the longest time once the shaman had disappeared within her tent; the low, steady, sound of a drum beat pulling their attention to the group of wolves near the large fire. After days of listening to them practice, under the steady care of their shaman, the particular rhythm that slowly grew louder with each passing moment as the sun touched the horizon, everyone knew what it meant. The ceremony for Bevyt had begun.

Following the other members of their tribe, who were moving to form a ring around the raging fire, Lyra and Kiranti took a seat with those that didn't wish to join in on the dance that was starting. However, they didn't stay out of the ceremony all together. While the handful of wolves and wolfesses began to move around the burning wood in a slow dance, those who didn't participate with them began softly chanting.

While they continued uttering a protection prayer, one meant for both whoever would be leaving them soon and the other members of the tribe, as night slowly engulfed the land Etzil reemerged from her tent. Though barely a handful of minutes had passed since she had last left her tent, the wolfess had managed to cover herself in an array of strange symbols and markings of different colors. The way see walked didn't seem any better than before either. Nearly falling over on her way to the bonfire, yet careful enough to not spill the contents of the clay bowls she held, Lyra carefully watched Etzil kneel in front of the fire (something everyone did while they continued what they were doing) and set the bowls down close to her.

Slowly swaying her body to the drum beats and singing, staring with such intensity at the fire one would think she was learning the secrets of the universe. Ages seemed to pass while she continued muttering something in a language no one there could understand, rocking her body back and forth all the while. Quickly grabbing one of the bowls, Eztil tossed its contents - crushed fruit, seeds, and a few other miscellaneous items - into the fire.

In a blinding flash of light the bonfire exploded, nearly doubling in size, as its orange-red color shifted to green, then blue. Immediately everyone but Etzil jumped back from the sudden expansion of flame and while she continued chanting, moving her arms around in an odd fashion without any worry of being burned, they watched on as the flames continued shifting through a wide array of colors.

A quick, erratic, wave of one arm as her chanting grew in volume, and the tribe watched the fire move with the wolfess with growing curiosity. Whatever she was saying seemed to bring life to the flames, such life that it followed every movement she made.

Thrusting her hands into the air and the flames grew in height to match, lowering her hands and the flames lowered as well. However, the wolfess's display of controlling such a dangerous element in her current state was short-lived with a sudden yelp. Several members of the tribe, Tsak included, fell back on the ground in surprise when the flames shot up high into the air, before suddenly collapsing on itself; kicking up smoke and dust as it fell back down onto the pile of wood that gave it life.

Once the smoke and dust cleared, and those who had fallen were helped up, everyone's attention turned to their shaman. Not even having moved an inch after the sudden burst of flame she sat quietly, head hung low and arms limply resting at her sides, in front of the all but dead, green tinted, fire.

"Etzil?" Asked someone among the crowd of wolves watching the wolfess. For a long while she didn't respond to the question, sitting there as still as stone, somehow overcoming how hard she was shaking earlier. That was until she finally lifted her head.

Gasps and murmurs swept through the crowd as she looked at them, her eyes practically glowing ice blue, replacing every bit of red that was in them, before her body lifting clear off the ground so she could stand.

"It's good to see the clan I helped build is still here; I trust everyone is doing well?" She asked, her voice a strange melded echo of a deep male voice and her own.

Though no one answered her, a warm friendly smile crossed her lips. Swiftly moving towards Tsak with such surreal fluidity and grace no mortal being could match, she stopped just inches away from him.

"I do hope this silence is your peoples' new way of saying 'yes', otherwise I do worry if I've done something wrong." Tsak gawked

"You...a-are... are you..." Tsak managed to stammer out.

"Am I Eztil? Only in appearance. Spiritually, I am Jajil." She bowed to the still gawking crowd.

"Jajil..." The white lupine breathed out, having unknowingly held his breath since the bonfire came to life and towered over his tribe. "To think any of us would live to see this moment."

"I understand your desire to speak with me Tsak, and though I am truly happy to see all of you here today, unfortunately I can not take too long with what I have to say."

"But-"

"To do so risks Eztil's spirit becoming corrupted while it remains outside of her body; and unlike those who can use magic among your race that can speak through others, I can not simply communicate to your people while the spirit resides in that person's body. Though I'm using what energy I can spare to protect her, I am uncertain how long it can last and I do not wish to bring her any harm for this." Immediately Tsak's ears folded back against his head, lowering his gaze away from those glowing eyes.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-"

"Don't worry." Jajil said calmly, still as warm and friendly as before. "You mean well, and that's one of several reasons I put you as chieftain for this tribe."

Turning towards the others, and took in a deep breath. "Thank you, everyone, for having faith in me for so long; even in the few times I had no means to help. And though it pains me to do this, I ask that one of you journey into the mountain like your ancestors had done."

"It has been difficult deciding who among you that person shall be, but I have finally made my decision." Kiranti and Lyra, much like the rest of their tribe, watched in nervous anticipation while Jajil stepped forwards. Much to the sibling's dismay, the possessed she-wolf stopped in front of Lyra.

"And I've chosen you, Lyra." After that, the glow in Etzil's eyes faded away, the fire returning back to its previous state, while the shaman seemed to regain her former self. Though Lyra didn't seem to notice; the shock that hit her after hearing such news left her mind in a daze.

Before she even had time to fully accept what happened, someone pulled on her arm, tugging her towards the fire and to take a seat. Then the drum beats and singing began once more, though Lyra was dimly aware of it. Or when Etzil dipped her fingers in the second bowl she had brought, and used the murky substance in it to draw various archaic symbols on her body.

Some time later a container filled with a strange, potent smelling, drink, was pushed against her lips. Acting out of reflex Lyra took a drink, barely recognized something luke-warm passing past her lips and down her throat. The moment it hit her stomach though, everything became a blur of motion as whatever the liquid was supposed to do took effect. Whether minutes had gone by, or hours, Lyra couldn't exactly remember, when she finally regained her senses. By then she found herself following Eztil along the river near their tribe, moving towards the mouth of a small cave leading inside the volcano.

It wasn't until they stopped some feet away from the mouth of the cave, that Lyra noticed Etzil was in the middle of saying something.

"Guess the brew was a bit strong for you, wasn't it? Shouldn't be that surprised never having the stuff before."

"What happened?" Lyra grumbled rubbing her head, trying to go through the bits and pieces of what happened after drinking the liquid. Turning around, Etzil smiled softly at the red furred wolfess.

"Coming around I see. That's good." She said, taking a piece of dry bush and dabbing it lightly over Lyra's body.

Lyra didn't even have a chance to ask what the shaman was doing, before Etzil answered her unspoken question. "This helps purify the body, much like what you drank earlier."

Once finished ensuring nearly every inch of Lyra's form had been patted down with the dry bush, Etzil took a moment to look over the dead plant. "Though one never knows how someone will react to that brew. I've only taken it a few times, when you were too young to remember, and I've been told it makes me seem... mad."

Suddenly she let out a soft, airy, chuckle. "But I've always seemed a bit mad at times, haven't I?"

Behind them the sound of chanting made them turn towards the circle of tents down below. A wave of nausea washed over Lyra as the realization of what was happening finally hit her.

"I won't be able to see them again..." Hearing the soft whisper Etzil placed a hand on Lyra's shoulder, squeezing it gently. Though the gesture was supposed to be comforting Lyra couldn't help feeling anything but, as she stared into the shadow filled cavern. Watching those shadows like something living was about to jump out at any moment, her heart sped up slightly while a chill ran down her spine. Just a couple steps away and she'd never be able to see anyone she grew up with ever again. Her brother, her friends, even the few people she didn't like.

"Everything's going to be alright, you don't need to worry. Jajil has been good to us for ages now, I have no doubt he'll be good to you too." Silence fell between them for a short while, until Etzil spoke up once more.

"Do you remember Sofal, the shaman before me?" Lyra shook her head in response.

"Ah, well you would have liked her. Well... maybe you would have. She could be stubborn as a mule when the mood suited her, and had an attitude to match."

Etzil chuckled softly, thinking back on her old teacher. "I swear, if she was still around she'd probably stare down that hot-headed drake clan in the mountains. I can still remember the first time she took me under her wing, and how worried she seemed teaching his waist high girl to do the things she could. Honestly don't remember her looking_that_ concerned about anything."

Letting out a soft sight she quickly turned her attention back to the here-and-now. "Anyways, everything I know I learned from her; including a few things Tsak and the tribe doesn't know about."

"Like what?"

"Well," Etzil paused "I know it might not be that helpful, but one of the things she taught me is a spell much like what I used to let Jajil speak through me. So I'd be able to let you talk to someone-"

"You could really do that?" Lyra asked, ears perking up a bit, a small bit of the fear and nervousness that had balled up in the pit of her stomach melting away hearing that. Though not enough to truly ease how she felt. Etzil gave a quick nod before continuing.

"Mhm, but I can't let more than a few people contact you though; it's a tradition of sorts for the shaman of our tribe, but it can also take a lot out of me at times." Reaching out she pulled Lyra into a tight hug.

"I'm sorry I can't do more for you." She said after pulling away. "And I know this will be hard at first, but try not to worry okay? You won't be alone while you're with him."

"You don't have a reason to be sorry Etzil," Lyra smiled warmly as she spoke "I really appreciate that you'd do that for me. Kiranti's going to be worried sick about me while I'm gone; could he be the one I speak to?"

Giving her a quick nod Etzil watched as Lyra turned towards the cave, letting out a low sigh as she braced herself. Not long after their last farewell Lyra stumbled through the darkness of the cave, running her hand along the slicked walls as she followed the curved path ahead of her.

The soft running flow of the stream next to her, coupled with each carefully placed step she made, echoed all around her. Deeper and deeper she went into the snaking tunnel of earth for what seemed like ages, before a deep rumbling noise caught her attention. Fearing that the earth around her might come to life like it had for the past several days, she crouched down and covered her head. But as time passed without being tossed to her feet, Lyra slowly realized the ground she stood on wasn't about to move underneath her.

A quick dusting off and she resumed her journey, taking note that the rumbling seemed to come from all around her, though she couldn't pin-point exactly where it came from. However, Lyra didn't have that much time to think about it as she went further down, a light breaking through the darkness just beyond a sharp right turn.

With a bit of pep in her step, she swiftly moved towards the light. A short while later she found herself standing in awe at the sight before her.

Impossibly high above her Lyra watched the moon move across the night sky, filled with an array of ever changing colors, ranging from familiar to ones she never knew existed. The walls were all but non-existent as she looked out to the horizon she was accustomed to seeing, and, somehow, to her left and down below the slope of the volcano was her tribe. Simply dumbstruck by the impossibility of what she saw, Lyra slowly walked across the smooth black-stone floor while she took in her surroundings.

"I've been waiting for you." Practically jumping out of her skin Lyra immediately spun towards whoever was in the room with her. Several feet away from her stood a surprisingly lithe male, one of the lizard folk of the mountain from the looks of him. That was until a brief movement behind him directed her attention to the pair of pale blue colored wings on her back.

Raising a dark blue scaled hand the figure spoke again. "I apologize if I startled you, one tends to forget how quiet they can be after living alone for so long."

"You're Jajil?"

"The one and only." He replied with a warm grin, flexing his wings as he bowed.

"From the stories I've heard, I thought you'd be bigger. And a bit more wolf-ish looking." She said, recalling the tales of a wolf three times the size of Kalak (who himself was far larger than Tsak), with power to bring water to such a dry, near lifeless, area.

Looking over his deep blue scale covered body, each outlined by a small band of teal, and the small fins adorning the side of his head, she couldn't imagine how anyone could mistake him as a wolf. A glance further down his slim body, much like her own, Lyra felt a warmth rise in her cheeks as her eyes fell upon below the waist. Even after becoming old enough to have a mate, she had only seen a naked male once before now. And that was after accidently walking into the tent she and her brother shared, while he had been taking care of himself. Though Lyra didn't mean to do it, lifting her gaze up she felt herself blushing harder as she mentally compared Kiranti's length with Jajil's. The drake was definitely bigger.

"Ah, well, after Rai passed I haven't really bothered changing my appearance." He said while examining an arm, his smile fading away into something more sorrowful for just a brief moment. "But if you wish I can alter my form to something more pleasing to you."

"No, no that's okay. I just didn't realize you could change how you look; our stories don't mention you can do that." Jajil gave a short nod of agreement to what she said.

"It seems that there are many things about me your people have forgotten, through your oral-traditions." Rubbing at the back of his head, Jajil let out a deep sigh before speaking again.

"Lyra, do you know _exactly_why you're here?"

Feeling more than a little confused by the question, and the entire reason she was there to being with, Lyra shifted a bit on her feet.

"I'm, umm, supposed to give myself to you." She said, almost stuttering on the last bit of her sentence.

For a very brief moment she heard him let out a quiet 'hmm' as she scratched his chin

"I see... Well, the stories you've been told are partially true about that, but it's not something you have to do."

A quick gesture with his hand and he motioned her forwards. "Come here Lyra, you should know why you're here."

Doing what she was asked Lyra moved forwards to stand next to him, and once she was close enough Jajil carefully placed two fingers in the middle of her forehead. Seconds later a strange feeling swept over her body, vision blurring drastically before finally giving way to a sight that made her jaw drop. Instead of looking at Jajil like she had been seconds ago, Lyra found herself looking at... well... herself; almost as if she were viewing an image of herself in a pool of water, but her physical self_was_ the image.

"How can I... how did you..." Though she couldn't see him do it, a small grin crossed Jajil's face.

"I'm letting you see through my eyes, so you can better understand why you're here. Now, you know your kind worships different gods and goddesses yes?" Lyra simply nodded while she examined herself through his eyes. "Good, because those gods and goddesses are my siblings."

"They are?" She asked, momentarily distracted from what she was doing.

"Mhm. You see, my kind do not live on this world as yours does. We come from a... hmm... how can I explain this in a way you can understand..." Jajil paused trying to think of what to say.

"Ah I know!" He exclaimed after a few seconds passed. Raising his free hand so they both could see, two fairly large bubbles formed in his palm and floated gently into the air.

"Imagine everything you know, everything you've grown up around, as the bubble on the left. That's_your_ reality. Now, where I come from would be the bubble on the right, okay?"

"I'll try." She said while the bubbles bobbed up and down in front of her nose.

"Alright well, my people can not set foot in your world, your bubble, without harming your people," just as he said that, the left bubble suddenly burst, to punctuate what he meant "so to avoid that, me and my siblings create holes in our "bubble" and connect it with your reality."

As another bubbled reformed in his hand, she watched while small limbs branched out from the right bubble and connected to the new one.

"So you're not really here then?"

"Not exactly." Jajil chuckled softly.

"After connecting our two worlds together, my siblings and I create vessels for a small portion of us to reside in. So, in a way, I am here, but I'm still in my world as well."

"Oh." Lyra replied, obviously a little confused. Jajil continued on though, having plenty of time to go into further detail and help her understand better later.

"Unfortunately it takes a good portion of our power to do all of this, and keep it going, so our vessels use the energy from your people doing... well anything really. We also, usually, keep our vessel inside of the portal connecting us to your world, because it uses less energy to maintain them." Letting out deep sigh Jajil continued. "However, there is one problem to doing this."

"And what's that?"

"Him." Jajil said, his smooth voice becoming fairly grim as he pointed down. She didn't get it at first until she glanced down, immediately stepping back with a sharp gasp, her vision returning the moment Jajil's finger tips left her forehead.

"What was that?!" She demanded, not caring how she spoke to a god.

"That, Lyra, is my brother's gift to my people. You see, for my people if we force others to worship us, use our vessels to forcibly take energy from your kind, that very thing we need to live becomes tainted and eventually corrupts us. In his futile attempt to gain enough strength to overthrow the oldest gods among us from their position of leadership, he broke our most sacred of laws and became corrupted. That thing you saw is his son."

Lyra's expression of shock to what she saw quickly turned into one of absolute horror hearing that.

"That... that's a god?!"

"Only partially," Jajil said with the utmost of loathing "it's half mortal and what power of ours it had has been taken away from it. Unfortunately its lifespan is still far longer than we thought it would be, when it was exiled to the core of your world."

"So you need me to help you get enough strength to kill it, if it escapes?" Lyra asked, doing what she could to forget the twisted, mangled, form living deep under their feet.

"Hmph. If it ever escaped, its power could never compare to mine, even in my weakened state. However, due to my portal to your world being so close to it, the elders of my kind wish for me to keep an eye on it. Well, that and it seems to have regained a very small amount of strength to try and break from its bonds and managed to cause this volcano to become active."

"Volcano?"

"Right," Jajil sighed, scratching the back of his head "you're not familiar with that word. Umm... this mountain that we're in is what my kind call a volcano. You saw the red water under us, when you saw him right?"

Lyra gave him a quick nod before he continued again, this time using hand gestures to help her understand what he was saying; though he still tried to keep everything as simple as possible.

"Well, that red water travels up through the volcano after so much has built up in the earth, and when it bursts out, that red water burns everything it touches. I've been making sure such a thing doesn't happen since my portal to your world opened up here, and trying to move that liquid away so it doesn't escape is really taxing on my strength."

"Are we going to be safe inside this... vol-ca-no then?" She asked, carefully pronouncing the new word.

"I wouldn't have wanted you here if we were at risk of being harmed." Jajil replied with a smile.

"But it does take a lot out of me to combat the power of nature, the power of my creator." Before she could ask what he was talking about, Jajil turned his attention towards the only entrance into the room.

"You can come out of there any time you want. I know you've been hiding in there for some time now. And a little advice for the future, it's quite rude listening in on other people's conversations from the shadows."

***

Slowly lying down on the flat animal furs that made his bed, Kiranti sighed quietly as he stared at the walls of the tent he and his sister shared. Turning his head to one side he let out another sigh as he looked over his sister's bed. After tonight it seemed this would be just his tent from now on. Shadows danced along the leather walls around him, drum beats and chanting, a mixture of mourning and celebration, filling the air while tribe members danced the night away.

Ever since the moment Lyra left with Etzil towards the mountain, the entire tribe didn't stop once in their festivities. Nor did they stop him when he broke off from what they were doing, slinking away into the confines of his tent.

"I never said goodbye," he muttered, barely loud enough to hear himself talk. Lyra just didn't seem like the same person, after Etzil gave his sister whatever it was that filled that bowel. Even if he had had the chance to speak with her, she probably wouldn't have known who he was.

'Why did he have to pick her?' Letting out another soft sigh, Kiranti closed his eyes listening to the chanting outside as it reached its peak.

The other tribe members might have helped raise them after their parents died, but they only truly had each other for family. If either of them had a problem, they always went to each other for help. And after being together for so long, staying close to each other for so long, Kiranti came to realize, almost a year ago, just how much he cared for his sister.

Just days ago he tried to tell Lyra how he felt about her, but nerves got the better of him at the time. It wasn't that he was scared of his peers looking down on him if they learned about his feelings towards his sister, in fact such relationships weren't unheard of in their tribe (though they weren't commonplace either). He just couldn't find the words to tell her how he felt.

Now though, when he finally gathered enough courage to tell her, he'll never have that chance. Not anymore, now that she was with Jajil. Unless he went after her and into Jajil's home, but only Etzil was allowed to go into the mountain.

Then again Lyra wasn't their shaman. Sure Jajil chose her to enter his domain, but she wasn't a shaman. It was an incredibly stupid idea, but just for a split second he truly did consider it. Outside the chanting continued, changing to a lower, mournful, sound and he knew he couldn't stay here without her. Surly Jajil would forgive him for such an intrusion, if it meant being with Lyra. And if it didn't, even he wouldn't strike him down for her sake.

Getting up to his feet, he glanced to the flaps of his tent for a moment. If he went that way everyone would see him, and would more than likely question where he went. That left one other option. With a few steps forwards, left hand reaching for the simple knife strapped to his hip, he made a quick slash into the wall and forced his way through the newly made hole. Not bothering to look back Kiranti quietly moved towards the river and then towards the mountain.

However long it took to reach the mouth of the cave he didn't know, nor did he care too, as he stared into the darkness. Kiranti's ears twitched every so often to every little sound around him: the trickle of the river, or occasional gentle breeze and the deep rumble of the mountain. He couldn't help being on edge as he stood there, after barely avoiding running into Etzil while she made her way back to the village. Even before he journeyed into the cave he made sure to cover his tracks as best he could, glancing over his shoulder practically every five seconds whenever he heard something behind him.

Moving through the snaking shaft of earth, he braved himself for whatever fate Jajil might have in store for him. Even then his mind couldn't help conjure up what might happen to him when he finally found his sister. For all Kiranti knew, Jajil already knew he was here and was simply waiting for the wolf to venture deeper into the mountain before punishing him for trespassing.

Still, no matter what scenario popped into his head, or how much his nerves grew with each step, Kiranti continued on. To his surprise it didn't take much longer until he ran into a light piercing through the darkness. Stepping quietly towards the light, Kiranti stopped just at the shadow's edge.

Peering inside, he caught the gasp that rose in his throat seeing his sister standing in the middle of a very large room, with some sort of drake. Of course the room itself was reason enough for anyone to stop and stare; after all, it looked like the entire night sky was clearly visible from inside of the mountain.

With carefully placed steps Kiranti moved closer, doing his best to not make any noise as he tried to get a better view of the room. Unfortunately in doing so, his left foot came down onto a fairly sharp rock; immediately Kiranti pulled his foot back with a hiss, one slightly louder than he would like, as he pulled the embedded piece of stone out of the pad on his foot.

Once the rock was gone he turned his attention to Lyra and who Kiranti could only assume was Jajil. Both of them didn't seem to hear him, still engrossed in whatever they were talking about.

Straining his ears to listen in on their conversation, and what he heard made a wave of fear wash around his form.

"You can come out of there any time you want. I know you've been hiding in there for some time now. And a little advice for the future, it's quite rude listening in on other people's conversations from the shadows." The drake called, which only made Kiranti freeze up.

He shouldn't have been surprised. He was expecting his presence to already be known when he started out towards the cave, but to have been found so soon still took him off guard.

"Come now, I don't have forever." A pause came from the drake for a short moment. "Well, I can but I don't want to spend it waiting for you."

There wasn't a point in hiding anymore, now that he was discovered, and he came here willing to face Jajil to see his sister. So with a deep breath, Kiranti summoned what courage he saved to tell Lyra his feelings for her to slowly get to his feet. Not even thinking it he began to move forwards.

"Kiranti?!" Lyra exclaimed the moment her brother stepped out of the shadows.

"H-hi, sis," Kiranti stuttered as the drake's eyes fell on him, and with it a glare that all but sapped the courage that brought him here, out of him.

"You shouldn't be here," Jajil said bluntly. Kiranti's ears folded back at that as he looked at the ground.

"I know, but I had too," he started, suddenly finding it hard to breathe in the drake's presence; his body becoming strangely heavy with each passing second. The rest of his sentence never managed to pass his lips. In a matter of seconds the world around him darkened into blankness, the sound of his sister calling his name echoing in his ears as he fell over.

Lyra watched in shocked fright while Kiranti's body went limp out of nowhere, legs giving out under him and sending him to the ground. Even if she wanted to catch him he was clear across the room. But just as that thought popped into her head Jajil took a step towards her brother, the light around him bending slightly and then he was gone. No longer standing next to her in the blink of an eye; instead Jajil was holding Kiranti before he came close to hitting the ground.

"How in the fires did you make it down here?" Jajil muttered under his breath, lifting the black wolf up off the ground with barely any effort at all.

"What's wrong with him?" Lyra asked, voice stricken with panic. "Is he going to be alright?"

"He'll be fine, Lyra. Just stay where you are for now."

"But-"

"Lyra," Jajil interrupted, shifting his arms to hold Kiranti with one arm while he placed the other over the wolf's stomach. "have you ever wondered why your people aren't allowed here? It's not because I don't want any of you here; in all honesty I'd love to have such company."

Saying a few words she didn't understand, Lyra watched as Jajil move his hand up her brother's stomach, chest and throat. And then something small, inky black, and fluid like began....crawling out of his mouth. Once what looked like half of it was in the open Jajil swiftly grabbed at it and pulled the rest out with a wet 'plop'.

"You see, this place is part of the portal I used to come into your world. And this thing," he said waving what looked like a black ball with several wriggling arms in his hand. "this thing is one of the many side affects that can happen to your kind, if they didn't purify their body and spirit."

With a flick of his hand, the black ball was engulfed in blue flames and became nothing more than ash soon after. Smiling warmly at Lyra, Jajil put his free arm under Kiranti's body and made his way to her.

"He's going to be alright; just needs to sleep for a bit."

"What was that thing you pulled out of him?" Lyra asked while the drake passed her, heading straight for the middle of the room.

"Well it was the impurities of the mortal body given life." Jajil replied nonchalantly. A brief wave of a hand and Lyra watched some sort of white covered bed like object materialize in front of him. At least, she thought it was a bed, even though it was beind held up by thick blue "sticks" on each corner. Compared to what she slept on in her tent, the thing in front of her looked like it could be used for the same thing. Laying Kiranti down on the newly made bed, Jajil sat down next to him.

"Since its ash now, it won't be harming your brother. He'll be asleep for a while, so come take a seat." He said, patting at the white stuff covering the rectangle. Doing what she was asked, she sat down on one corner, near Kiranti's head, finding the thing Jajil made to be surprisingly soft yet firm.

"What is this?" She asked, running a hand along what she was on.

"Fabric," Jajil replied watching her run her hand along the bedding. "It's something your kind will learn how to make a long time from how. I myself haven't slept on this thing since... well... since Tuwyl left your village to live with me; personally felt it was a bit unfair if I were to sleep on something like this, while your kind still sleep on animal skins."

"You know, you don't seem to act very god-like."

"Oh really? And how, may I ask, should I act then?" Jajil grinned. Lyra simply shrugged in response.

"So, umm, is this Tuwyl you mentioned, is she the same girl you chose to live here?"

"Unless there was another with that name, and she came here without me knowing. And I wouldn't call her a girl." Jajil chuckled. "She was a wonderful woman to be around, and a surprisingly quick learner; never met someone so eager on learning new things. Then, of course, there was Rai. Like I said earlier, he had a keen interest in drakes and their... errmm..."

The cough that came next clued Lyra on to what he was going to say. Feeling a blush rise in her cheeks she quickly looked down. "Is that what you plan on doing with me?"

"What, sex? No wait, your people don't call it that yet... What's the word your people use... right, mating. That's what you call it still. No, Lyra, we don't have to mate if you don't want too." He replied with a soft smile.

"Do you mate with everyone that comes here?" Lyra asked, eyes still focused on her knees as her cheeks heated up further. Jajil opened his mouth to say something, but stopped himself to consider what to say.

"Heh, it seems that even though it has never been my intention on mating with Tuwyl and Rai, I have done so if they wanted it. However, I have found that being able to mate with your kind does provide me with enough energy to keep this body of mine going."

Silently thankful for her red fur, Lyra dared to lift her head and look at the drake. "What other ways do you, umm, get this energy stuff?"

"Oh from anything really; as long as it involves moving. You see, whenever you move an arm, or leg, walk, or run you use energy in order to do anything, and I can absorb." Holding an arm out straight, Lyra watched the drake flex it several times to help explain. With a short nod of understanding she briefly glanced over at her still-unconscious sibling.

"What are you going to do with Kiranti when he wakes?"

"Not sure," Jajil shrugged, after turning his gaze to the sleeping wolf "but I'm not going to hurt him, if that's what you're asking."

As if saying his name was enough to wake up, Kiranti rolled over with a groan, rubbing at the dull throbbing pain pounding against his forehead.

"Ah! Look who's awake; your sister and I were just talking about you." Jajil said while Kiranti began to slowly sit up.

"What happened?" Kiranti groaned, looking around while he tried to figure out where he was.

"Here, give me your hand." The drake asked as he extended an arm towards the wolf. Confused, Kiranti did as he was asked. Seconds after their hands made contact, a purplish glow began to between them. It lingered for a few short moments once Jajil pulled his hand away and left Kiranti sitting there in a brief silence.

"Sorry, I may enjoy talking to your kind when I can, but I do dislike repeating myself if it can be avoided."

"How do I... how did you..." Kiranti stammered, realizing not only his headache was gone, but he somehow knew the answer to his question. And with the clarity of what happened, his stomach began to churn with nervousness, heart beating just a little faster, as he realized just who he was sitting next too.

"It's a basic trick my kind learns early on in our lives; makes it easy to teach each others new things fairly quickly." Lyra just looked between the two, utterly confused to what they were talking about.

"Now why are you here?" Kiranti just stared blankly at the drake unsure of what to say. Unfortunately the wolf's silence did nothing to help Jajil's growing irritation.

"Come now, out with it!" he all but snapped after several moments went by without an answer, making both siblings flinch.

"I-I came for Lyra." Kiranti stuttered.

"I can see that, but why? Don't you realize what you've do-"

"Because you took her from me!" The wolf nearly shouted, surprising himself, and the other two, with his sudden outburst.

"Out of everyone you could have picked and you... you took her! I.... I can't lose her, I wont lose her."

"Brother, you almost got_hurt_ coming here. What if something actually happened to you?" Lyra said, worry slipping into her voice recalling what happened earlier as she moved to pull him into a hug.

"Oh something is going to happen," Jail growled under his breath as he stood. "So you decided to just walk in here without any consequences? Did you not think about what might happen if you came here? Because of this those in your tribe might die."

"I don't understand," Kiranti replied lowering his ears.

"Apparently. Have you ever wondered why I've person to leave your tribe to come here? Once one of your kind enters the cave leading here, you can't go back. The moment the impurities inside you come to life, they must be removed. That's why you must be purified, so it doesn't kill you. However, you can't live outside of here without them either. Now because of this your people might think I stole you from them!"

"But-"

"Do you know what will happen if they start thinking that? They'll stop worshipping me, and if that happens I'll loose the strength to keep them safe. I won't be able to keep a flow of water going that has kept your people from dying of thirst, and the trees along the river will stop baring fruit. Everything I've done for your tribe will be undone!"

"I didn't know that would happen..." Kiranti mumbled as he stared down at his feet. Looking at the guilt ridden expression on his face Jajil let out a deep sigh feeling his irritation begin to wane.

"Look, what's done is done. I'll be able to talk with Eztil in a few days once she has had time to recover, and I'll try to explain what happened to her; maybe even see how well you can learn magic and let you talk to the tribe."

"Still, I didn't-" The wolf didn't get a chance to finish his sentence when Jajil raised a hand to quiet him.

"Don't worry about it alight? Nothing we can do about it now, except prepare for what might happen from this." Nodding slowly, still not looking up, Kiranti reached out to take hold of his sister's right hand, though there was something in the way he did it that didn't go unnoticed to the drake.

"So what was the real reason you came here?"

"What?" Kiranti asked finally looking up at the drake, who had crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"Nome now, you can't exactly fool me. So why did you actually come here?"

"Oh... well," Kiranti began, wishing for the courage from earlier to come back. But it didn't, and while he sat there, just now noticing how sweaty his palms were getting, he briefly wished the drake wasn't there so they could be alone when he told her.

"I'm umm, after losing mom and dad I've tried my best to be there for you, keep you safe, even with the rest of the tribe helping us. And, well, recently I've come to realize just how much I care for you. I want to be your Kyhek, Lyra."

"You... want to be..." She repeated slowly. Only those who have reached adulthood and became mated with another of the tribe were able to become Kyhek, life-partners. Though she wasn't opposed to the idea of her brother wanting to become mated with her, hearing him say it still caught her off guard.

Once the shock of the situation finally passed, she slowly realized just how serious her brother was. And then something clicked. All those times he acted strange around her started to make sense; from when they were hunting days ago, and how he stumbled over his words, to last winter when they slept together to stay warm during the cold nights, and how nervous he seemed about it.

A warm blush rose to her cheeks not only thinking about how long he must have felt this way about her, but the length he went through to tell her this. He wasn't just another male trying to get a mate, and he was far more than just her brother to risk his life for her.

Leaning forwards Lyra gently licked along the side of Kiranti's muzzle, giggling softly at the surprised 'meep' like sound he made.

"L-lyra?" He stuttered slightly confused to the sudden action while she started lapping affectionately along his jowls.

"I'd be happy to be your Kyhek," she said, wrapping her arms around him in a tight embrace.

The mixture of relief and joy that flooded his body was practically indescribable hearing her say that as he returned the hug in earnest. Softly nuzzling into her neck, Kiranti let out a soft, content, sigh from the warmth of her body against his.

If it wasn't for the quiet cough that came from Jajil,, Kiranti would have been happy holding his sister for a while longer. No sooner had they let go, Jajil was standing in front of them and reached out to gently take hold of their shoulders.

"Well then, I certainly did not expect you to feel so strongly for your sister," the drake said looking between the two. "That certainly helps explains your actions. After seeing how your kind celebrates becoming mated to another, I'd imagine you two would like some time alone."

Without saying much more Jajil's hands began to glow a faint reddish pink, and he had no doubt the siblings were beginning to blush bright red with the knowledge he was sharing with them. Much like with Kiranti, it didn't take all but a handful of seconds for him to give them what information he wanted them to know. "Before I go, let me give you two a small gift to make up separating you two."

"B-but didn't you say you couldn't leave?" Lyra stuttered feeling her cheeks burn hot with what Jajil shared with her and, from what she could tell on Kiranti's face, her brother. How exactly he knew those who have taken a Kyhek must give their purity, their virginity, to make such a union official she didn't know, and with the images running through her head she was half-tempted to ask.

"Actually, I said we usually keep our vessels in the portal connecting our worlds together. I myself plan on visiting an old friend of mine unless..." He hesitated for a moment.

"Unless you'd like me to stick around." However unintentional the, very, low growl Kiranti made gave only made Jajil chuckle deeply.

"Don't worry, I was only kidding," Jajil smirked. "Oh! Before I go, here's a little something extra for you two."

Reaching down Jajil took hold of Lyra's right hand he muttered a few unintelligible words under his breath, his hand glowing a soft orange that seemed to attach to Lyra's skin in an elegant rune-like design. Once it finally finished, Lyra noticed a pleasant warmth begin to fill her body while Jajil turned to her brother, and leaned forwards to whisper something in his ear.

Before pulling away, Jajil handed Kiranti a small crystal object half filled with a teal colored liquid that appeared in his hand.

"You two enjoy yourselves while I'm gone," He said standing back up. Giving them both a short nod Jajil began walking away from the bed. "I'll be back tomorrow, and when I do me and you, Kiranti, are going to work on any ramification your coming here caused."

With that he stepped forwards one more time, the space in front of him distorting, twisting around, and reformed back again; everything inside the newly made space differing completely from the room they were in. And then he made his way through, the area in front of him quickly changing back to what it was before. The two siblings just stared at where the drake once stood for several long seconds, until Kiranti faced his sister.

"So, uhh, what was he talking about just now?"

"It's errr... a bit complicated. Might be better is Jajil was the one to explain it instead of me."

"Oh."

"Yeah... so what did he tell you?" She asked, looking at the small vial in his hand. Following her gaze Kiranti felt his lingering blush deepen.

"He told me a few things, and said if you asked that I should show you instead of tell you." The bashful glance he gave her after saying that only made her giggle softly; he always did look a little cute the few times he got embarrassed from something.

Lyra shivered lightly, despite the growing warmth inside her, as more of those sensual images flashed in her mind. It didn't help that her nose seemed to detect scents she didn't notice before; the warm earthy scent of her brother catching her attention, along with the slowly growing tent of his loincloth.

Even after fantasizing of what he'd do if he ever found himself in like this (minus being in Jajil's home, of course), Kiranti found himself unsure of what to do. That was until his body all but acted on its own, moving him closer to his sibling; hands gently caressing her sides while he leaned forwards to rub his nose against his sister's, in a simple sign of affection.

It was then she took him by surprise by pressing her lips softly against his. Unsure of how to react to such a gesture, even with what Jajil showed him, and undoubtedly Lyra, Kiranti simply let her continue. When Lyra pulled back a short while afterwards, smiling softly as she carefully shifted on the bed to lie down next to her brother.

Following suit, Kiranti laid down next to her, nuzzling into her neck while he explored her body with his right hand. Whatever it was Jajil put on her arm certainly began to make its affects known as that black furred hand moved across her stomach, the sensation of those well-worn pads rubbing against her fur and skin sent a shiver up her spine. Of course the nuzzling and light nibbling along her neck added to what she felt.

Then she felt the growing heat accompanied by her brother's hardening length pressed against her leg. Each little soft pulse it gave caused her cheeks to heat up further, remembering the stories she heard from the older women of her tribe when they talked about the night they lost their purity and officially became mated with their life-partner; along with the nights after that, and the different things they tried when pleasing each other.

Slowly running his hand further down Lyra's stomach toward her cloth covered mound, Kiranti silently enjoyed the little groan she made when he began to lick and nip at her neck. And the way she craned her neck soon after, only served to egg him on with the extra room he had to work with.

With a nimble swiftness gained from years of pulling small animals out of their burrows, Kiranti slipped his hand beneath the thin strap that kept his sibling's loincloth in place. However, he hesitated once he cupped Lyra's mound. This was the first time he ever touched a women like this, held a women like this. He couldn't help the shudder that ran through him feeling the heat of his sister against his palm, and hearing the gasp that rose from her throat when he explored her sex.

Moving his digits around, Kiranti noted Lyra's fur seemed to be fairly shorter, and mildly softer, here compared to the rest of her body. Along with the smooth skin that provided a delightful contrast for his fingers to examine.

Slowly tracing hose soft folds, delighting in the feel of the growing dampness against his palm, Kiranti lifted himself up with his free arm as he began softly lapping down her chest. After propping himself up, he repositioned himself so he was kneeling besides his sibling. Not thinking about what to do, he carefully bent over and took one of Lyra's perk blue nipples in his mouth, as he slipped a finger into her pussy.

The moment his furred digit wormed its way inside of her, and those teeth grazed on her sensitive skin, Lyra let out a sharp groan, involuntarily clenching down on the invading appendage. In doing so, Kiranti realized just how tight she was.

Even so that didn't stop him from continuing his actions; in fact it excited him further, throbbing hard at the thought, while he moved on to her other breast. And compared to the other women of their tribe, hers were more than big enough to play with. From fondling, to kneading, or licking (even doing several of the things in the images Jajil gave him), he could do all of it thanks to how big those soft furred mounds were.

Such thoughts, however, were banished when he felt several fingers wrap around his stiff member. Glancing up he caught eyes with Lyra, who was looking down on him with a lustful smile. And with a gentle squeeze, she began to run her hand along his girth. Even if her brother wasn't as big as Jajil, Kiranti might easily be thicker than the drake.

Lyra didn't seem to care much either way once a second finger eagerly joined the first within her. After rubbing his nose against hers Kiranti went back to gently rolling one of her stiff nipples between his teeth, and using his free hand to pinch and tug on the other. Every little groan and throaty gasp she made sent a thrill up his spine while he thrusted into his sibling's grip.

From years of pleasuring himself alone, he couldn't help but notice just how... different it felt letting someone else please him like this. Still, even with what fun he was having something inside urged him to truly make her his.

Lingering on her breasts for a while longer, he eventually began to move southward along her form, regretfully pulling away from his sister's grasp, until he positioned himself between her legs. With a low lustful growl Kiranti, listening to Jajil's advice, grabbed the small vial and pulled the top off; never having done this before, he didn't know what to expect as he poured the liquid on his shaft.

Whatever he thought it might feel like when that goop touched his skin was anything but the soft warmth that came from it rolling down his cock. Once Kiranti took the time to spread the stuff around enough that he was properly slickened up, or at least as much as he thought he should be, he lined himself up with his sister's sex and pushed forwards.

Feeling that pointed pink tip spread her dampened folds, Lyra took in a deep breath, and held it, when the first inch of his length finally entered her. Even while she took in the new sensations of her brother penetrating her, and the first male to do so, he didn't let up burying himself inside of her.

That was until she felt him press against something halting him from continuing. Seeing the expression on his face it was easy to see he was just as confused as her, mostly because he wasn't even close to being half way in yet. Still he continued on, the strange pressure increasing until Lyra tensed up when it suddenly gave way, a sharp twinge of pain taking its place, as Kiranti slid several inches forwards.

"Are you okay?" he grunted out hearing her let out a pained gasp, immediately stopping himself from going any further to avoid hurting her as she clamped down around him. Though the initial pain wasn't agonizing, it was still uncomfortable enough to get her to wait until it faded away.

A few moments after she felt ready enough to continue her brother leaned down to lick tenderly along her muzzle.

"I didn't hurt you did I?" Kiranti asked, concerned he had done something wrong. Lyra simply smiled warmly and returned the gesture.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Just... take it slow alright?"

With a nod and another soft lick, Kiranti slowly, carefully, eased himself into his sibling. With whatever barrier he had hit gone, Lyra bit her lip to stifle a whine feeling more of Kiranti's member slid into her; neither sibling paying heed to the rune on her arm, or how it pulsed softly as time went on.

Closing her eyes she focused on the sensations coursing through her, and taking note to how much bigger her brother seemed to be than before. Not to mention the growing full feeling accompanying each inch of her brother's shaft that made its way into her. By the time he had finally pressed his hips firmly against hers, tightly gripping the bed sheets in his hands near her shoulders, she began to feel a soft warmth make itself known just above her mound.

Before she could get used to what she felt Kiranti began to pull himself back, he stopped just before the head of his shaft slipped free and let loose a shaky moan as he guided his length back into her depts. The feeling that came from being so empty to full again made her toes curls, clenching down on her brother's thick member as it flexed hard against her tight tunnel. Then he did it again. And again, slightly harder this time, drawing a silent gasp from her lips.

Slowly he began to work himself into a steady rhythm, each thrust sending a delightful shiver up Lyra's spine as she wrapped her arms around her brother. With every thrust he made, she could feel the warmth inside her grew with intensity until her insides felt like they were on fire; albeit one that left her wanting more.

As the minutes passed that curious feeling just above her pussy seemed to move, change in a way she didn't know how to describe, causing a fresh wave of pleasure to sweep through her form. However alien this new found feeling was, Lyra couldn't help letting out the moan that rose in her throat as she tried to focus on what felt like something_growing_ on her pubic fur.

Relishing the sensation of Lyra's hot walls squeezing around his length, Kiranti buried his nose in the nook of her neck, breathing in her scent before he let out a deep groan. No matter how many times he fantasized about doing this, actually feeling the heat of her around his cock, the way she clenched on him, was far more than he thought it would be. Unfortunately he wasn't as experienced as other men of the tribe, who could mate for practically hours with almost no end. Gritting his teeth as he tried all he could to last even a few minutes longer once he felt his peek approaching far sooner than he'd like, his knot swelling every time it kissed Lyra's puffy blue folds, even he couldn't ignore his instincts for long.

So focused as he was on the pleasure going through him, he barely noticed something warm moving along his lower stomach by the second. Such a sensation of flesh rubbing against fur didn't go unnoticed to Lyra, who ground herself into Kiranti's stomach with a throaty murr. It was strange really, this new feeling washing over her and the rising lust that came with it. The pleasure that came from it left her panting, trying to understand the alien throbbing sensation from her mound; yet it felt completely separate from the usual pleasure she was accustomed too. However, with the force behind her sibling's pistoning hips growing ever stronger she wasn't able to dwell on it for long.

Roughly pushing his knot past her folds, letting out a ragged grunt when she clenched down hard on him, Kiranti gripped the sheets they were on tighter. With a quick jerk he, regretfully, pulled his knot free before shoving it back inside. Eagerly he repeated the movement, forcing his knot in and out of Lyra, loving the breathless gasps and yips and moans she made, for several minutes.

That was until his knot became too large to push back in. What regret he felt didn't last long once his climax finally hit him in full force. Still, that didn't stop him from trying to once again knot his sister as he bucked into her as hard as he could in a series of rapid short thrusts. Feeling his achingly hard prick spasm within her walls, Kiranti groaned out as his sac tightened up, sending the gooey contents inside propelling through his shaft and coating his sister's depths with hot sticky come.

Lyra let out a pleased moan of her own at the sensation of a new heat spreading through her, accompanied by each throb of her brother's cock. Holding onto him tight while he rode out his orgasm, Lyra nuzzled softly into his neck while she squeezed and relaxed her muscles to milk his cock for everything it had.

Once his climax finally died down and they were able to start catching their breath, Kiranti gave a tender lick on Lyra's nose. However, as he started to pull out of her, glancing down in the process, he froze up the moment his eyes fell on her crotch.

"Lyra..." Following his gaze down to their joining, she let out a sharp gasp at what she saw.

Proudly jutting up between her legs was a very canine, and fairly deep blue, looking shaft that wasn't there before. Right below the throbbing shaft sat two large red fur covered balls, each the size of an orange. To say she was shocked at the new appendage adorn to her waist was an understatement while she watched it pulse softly in the air, a long strand of pre drooling down onto her stomach.

Neither sibling freaked out, or screamed, or jerked away to such a sight. They simply stared, unsure of just_how_ to react; though the day they both had certainly helped prevent such actions. After what seemed like forever of silence, Kiranti was the first to make a move. Reaching down he gingerly took hold of his sister's new blue cock.

"It feels so... real." He murmured giving it a soft squeeze; one that sent a shiver of lust up her spine, and a quiet moan rising out from her throat. From the taut unyielding skin, to its needy pulse against his fingers, Kiranti certainly believed it to be real. At least, it felt as real as his own which was still hard and partially buried between Lyra's folds.

"How did you-" he started, but stopped once he looked up at noticed something he didn't before. "The mark on your arm... Lyra the mark on your arm is gone!"

Sure enough when she looked over at her arm Lyra noticed the mark Jajil put on her was missing. Even in her pleasure stricken state it didn't take a whole lot to figure out what that symbol had done.

"I guess this was his "gift" to me" Lyra grinned with a blush that rose with a new feeling of lust running through her veins.

"I didn't know he could do this," Kiranti replied going back to examining what he held. "It uhh, it looks good on you, Lyra. Does it... does it feel good?"

She giggled softly and nodded, her breathing growing heavier while her brother began to carefully run his hand up and down her aching shaft. With each slow pass Lyra became increasingly more aware of how strangely familiar having a cock felt; almost as if she had had it all her life, and just now realizing it was there.

Kiranti himself was blushing fiercely under his black fur while he stroked his sister's shaft. His own length had yet to even show signs of softening as it throbbed in time with Lyra's. Though he had frequently imagined what it might be like to take his sister like he had done, there was one particular fantasy he indulged pleasuring himself too on occasion; what it might be like if she was male. That thought alone made him shudder.

"Mmm, does this always feel this good?" Lyra asked with a low growl, though it took a while for it to click in Kiranti's head that she was talking to him.

"After what we just did, I can safely say it can feel a lot better. If you want, I can let you take me so you know how it feels." He replied with a grin as he moved his free hand.

"Reall-ah!" Kiranti chuckled softly hearing her gasp out suddenly when he poured the warm lube onto her girth. After spreading it around enough to evenly coat her shaft he startled her waist and leaned down until they were face to face.

"It wouldn't be fair if my Kyhek didn't get to feel the same pleasure I did." Blushing a bit as his rear rubbed against Lyra's length, Kiranti briefly licked nose before sitting back up. With a push up from his legs, he lifted himself off of Lyra while using his right hand to point her length straight up, pressing the pointed tip against his rear.

Easing himself down, feeling the pressure building against his ring, Kiranti tried to relax as much as he could. In doing so the head of his sister's new cock was able to force its way into his rear, drawing a gasp from both siblings. What pain there was from it was minor compared to the delightful stretching sensation as Lyra softly thrusted upwards, causing his own shaft throbbed hard in response. If it wasn't for the times he had explored that area of his body with a few fingers when he could, Kiranti was certain the pain would have been far worse.

Slowly, carefully, pushing down while inch after thick inch of Lyra's dick made its way into his body Kiranti moaned quietly feeling her shaft throb hard within him. A short minute and a half later, which, to them, felt like forever, he nestled himself into his sister's lap with a murr.

Lyra, however, was in a state of bliss feeling her brother's snug rear and hot walls clamp around her hard cock. The sensation only intensified when he began to lift himself up, pulling those inner walls along her length, and just as quickly drop back down. Gripping the bed sheet tight in her hands Lyra let out another breathless moan when Kiranti repeated motion, eagerly thrusting up on one occasion when he had risen himself up half her cock. Caught off guard from the sudden motion, Kiranti fell forwards with a gasp; grasping her shoulders to avoid losing his balance.

"Sorry," Lyra asked, panting "are you okay?" Kiranti nodded slowly and leaned down to nuzzle into her neck, grinding himself against her crotch.

"M-mhm, just wasn't expecting that. Umm could you do that again though?" He asked, feeling his cheeks heat up even as the words left his lips. Giggling softly Lyra planted a tender kiss on her brother's nose, hands moving up to grip his hips and urge him up. Once the tip of her cock was all that remained inside of his rear, she quickly pulled him back down with a groan.

Again she repeated the motion, taking delight in the way Kiranti squeezed down on her cock when their bodies met. Each time she eased her brother up and pulled him back down it became less rigid and easier, until becoming a smooth rhythm ending with a groaned "uhh" from her brother with every thrust.

Soon enough she began putting more force into bouncing her brother up and down her shaft, feeling the pleasure rapidly building within her. On a particularly hard thrust, Kiranti tensed up and let out a deep moan when his sister hit a fairly sensitive spot inside him, a heavy drop of creamy white pre-come dripping into a growing pool on Lyra's stomach. It didn't take long for her to hit that same spot again, making his toes curl while he reached down for his aching prick.

The pleasure that ripped through his form while he stroked his shaft left him all but breathless, clenching down on his sibling's cock and shuddering when he felt her growing knot force itself past his tight ring. No matter how much Lyra wanted what they were doing to last forever, or close to it, such a new sensation around her knot made her see starts as her first male climax hit her hard.

Practically throwing her head back with a moan, she felt her balls draw up against her body. Shivering at the feeling of his sister's seed jutting against his walls, Kiranti couldn't believe the sheer volume of her orgasm; the first rope of hot come felt large enough to be the entirety of his own climax as it painted his inner walls, which was lost in the second sticky rope, and then the third. And she just kept cumming, holding her brother down tightly against her the entire time.

An entire minute had gone by while Kiranti continued to stroke himself, silently shocked by how much seed his sister was pumping into him, and she still showed no sign of stopping, every ounce of her essence kept inside him by her engorged knot. When her climax finally began to die down, his stomach rounded out slightly from her come, Kirnati managed to reach his second release of the night. Though it wasn't anywhere near the volume Lyra produced, Kirnati grunted as his much more modest amount of come spurted out onto his sister's stomach.

"Wow... that was... that felt great." Lyra said after a moment to catch her breath. Panting hard afterwards he carefully laid down as best he could on top of Lyra.

"Yeah," Kiranti replied, nuzzling into her neck "though Jajil might want to cut back on how much you come." Lyra giggled at that as she wrapped her arms around her brother suddenly feeling tired. Her brother did the same, hugging her tight while he licked her nose before resting his head on her chest.

"I wonder how long this change is going to last."

Glancing up at her, Kiranti briefly rubbed his nose against Lyra's. "Mmm, could alwas ask Jajil about that too, but I wouldn't mind if you, yea know, didn't mind keeping it for a while longer."

Lyra chuckled again and squeezed her brother tight in her arms. "It's... interesting having this thing, but we'll see." It wasn't long after that sleep came for them; Lyra falling asleep first and her brother following suit soon after. Both smiling softly as they held each other.

Hours afterwards, when the pink-tinted moon began to descend past the horizon and the sun started to rise, the space just a few feet away from the bed they slept on distorted and warped around, giving way to a blue-scaled drake.

Stepping into his home with a weary groan, the portal closing behind him after his tail through, Jajil stretched his arms over his head for a moment until he saw the two wolves sleeping on his bed.

"Well then, it certainly seems like you two enjoyed my little gifts. And look," he chuckled lowly as he moved towards the bed, waving a hand over them and covering them with a velvety red blanket. "You really did come for your sister Kiranti. Sorry to say, but you're going to be a little sore later. Well, consider that as a punishment, of sorts, for barging in like you did."

Turning away he breathed in deeply and closed his eyes. Focusing on the churning lava inside the volcano's vent and underneath them, Jajil reached out for it, pouring his strength into easing the molten rock back into the earth and solidifying what he could near the top of the vent.

Oh how he wished he could simply get rid of it all, but mother... letting out a deep sigh a few minutes later Jajil released his grip on the lava flow. His kind could do practically anything with the power they had, but even they were restricted by her rules. However, there were more pressing matters to attend too as he glanced over the sleeping siblings once again. After all tomorrow is going to be a long day.
