A terrible accident
#5 of The Victim
Kyle awoke with a yawn. He looked around the quiet room. Laying next to him, Bane was still asleep, sunlight was pouring through the windows, and a gentle breeze was entering through the window screens. Kyle smiled and climbed out of bed. He grabbed a pair of jeans and a yellow t-shirt, before heading out into the living room. He stretched and turned on the television, sinking into the couch to watch the news.
About thirty minutes later Bane's eyes opened wide. He sat upright, sniffing the air. "Bacon..." He whispered. He jmped out of bed, still completely naked and darted into the kichen. Kyle was standing at the stove cooking breakfast. He turned around and meeped loudly, almost dropping the pan. "Uh...Bane...uh..." Kyle turned red and was grinning, trying not to laugh. "What I..." He suddenly realized why Kyle was grinning. It wasn't so much that Bane was standing naked in the kitchen, but the fact that another fur was sitting at the table looking directly at him, also grinning and supressing a laugh.
"MEEP!" Bane turned and sped back to their bedroom to get some clothes. Kyle and the other fur were laughing now. The fur was a black wolf, with black headfur tipped with gold. He was wearing baggy jeans and a t-shirt at least three sizes to big for him. He wasn't very muscular, and was only a few inches taller than Kyle.
"So that's Bane, I take it?" The wolf said. Kyle nodded and cracked an egg into the skllet. "How long have you two been together now?"
"Oh, I'd say around three months." Kyle addd some seasonings to the egg.
"Wow, that's great. I'm really happy for you." The wolf took a drink of water. Slowly Bane reentered the kitchen, he was blushing deeply and tried not to look the other wolf in the eyes.
"Sorry about that...uh...I didn't know anyone else was here." Bane said walking over to the stove and hugging Kyle from behind, although his voice was directed towards the other wolf.
"Oh, hey its okay. Not like you have anything I haven't seen. And its not like I didn't mind seeing you either." He giggled and stood up, extending a paw to Bane. "My name's Tayu."
Bane smiled back and took his paw. "I'm Bane." Tayu nodded and sat back down, Bane took a chair opposite of him. Kyle turned off the stove and handed both of them a plate, taking his seat next to Bane. "So Tayu how long have you known Kyle?" Bane took a bite of his food and then a small drink.
"Well, I'm 19 now...so...I'll say around five years. Give or take a couple months." He put his bacon and eggs on his toast to eat it as a sandwich.
"Yeah we met back in highschool when we were both freshmen." Tayu added
"So you two have been together for three months?" Kyle asked. He picked up his empty plate and set it in the sink.
"Yeah...around there. Are you with anyone?" Bane finished eating and picked up his and Kyle's plate and started to wash them in the sink along with Tayu's.
"Of course. About two years, sexiest scale you'll ever meet." Tayu bragged, winking at Bane.
"He's a scale?" Bane looked at Tayu in disbelief. Kyle just stood up and headed into the livingroom with Tayu.
"Yeah. Name's Blacktail, he's a dragon." Tayu flopped onto the couch and leaned back to relax.
"Wow. That's amazing." Bane sat in the love seat and pulled Kyle into his lap, nuzzling his cheek and murring. "What does he do?"
"Oh, he's owns a garage not to far from here. He amazing with cars, especially trucks. There isn't anything on a vehicle he couldn't fix." Tayu laid out along the couch looking at te two furs upside down.
"Hey, maybe you should see if he could fix your car Bane." Kyle looked into his eyes, and Bane blushed.
"Why what did you do?" Tayu sat up turning to face them.
"I..."
"He was driving home..." Kyle interupted. "and he freaked out when he thought he saw somefur jump into the street, even though there was no fur... anyway he drove his car into the lake. The interior is ruined, and a lot of other junk, which I don't know the names of, are also shot." Kyle explained, Bane was turning redder and as payback he pinched Kyle right under his tail, making him jump up with a yelp.
Tayu laughed and stood up. "Well I'm sure he could fix it, doesn't sound too hard. If you want we can head down there now and find out."
Kyle helped Bane to his feetpaws and hugged him. "Well I wouldn't mind. What about you?"
Bane shrugged. "I've nothing better to do today. Well..maybe I do but it can wait." he grinned and nibbled on Kyle's ear murring.
"Well lets go. Its only a short walk from here." The three furs left the apartment and headed down to Blacktail's garage.
Bane starred at the place. There were cars and trucks everywhere. Most looked almost brand new, however some hadn't been worked on. "Blacktail's Autoshop" read across the front of the stone building as they walked into the garage.
There were several trucks on supporters, one of them was currently being worked on by Blacktail himself. He noticed them and put down his equipment.
"Hey!" He shouted and rushed forward. Tayu rushed forward also and jumped into his arms and kissed him. Blacktail threw a leg behind him to keep himself from falling backwards at the extra weight landing on him. "How are you fuzzy?" He grinned and nuzzled Tayu, lovingly.
"I'm doing alright. This is my friend, Kyle." He gestured at the fox who was leaning up against Bane's chest. "And that is Bane, his mate." Bane waved wrapping his arms around Kyle.
"Hi, I'm Blacktail." He smiled and nodded to them. He was a blue and purple dragon, around seven feet tall, and was wearing jeans, no shirt. He was covered with oil in some parts which indicated he'd been working a lot this morning. He had a long black tail, with a purple underside. He was really stunning, there was no other word for it.
"Anyway, Bane recently drove his car into the lake and I was wondering if maybe you could take a look at it. " Tayu turned back to Blacktail petting his cheek and looking into his eyes.
"Sure no problem." He kissed Tayu again and turned to the others. "Bring it on by and I'll see what I can do."
"Okay thanks." Bane said smiling he hugged Kyle tightly to his chest.
"We'll bring it on by later today." Kyle said.
"Sure, I'll be here." Blacktail picked up his tools heading back to the car.
"It was nice meeting you." Bane called after him. "Oh, yeah it really was." Kyle said quickly.
"It was nice to meet the two of you, as well."
The said goodbye to Tayu and left, returning to their apartment. Kyle entered first. He was heading off down the hall when Bane picked him up and pressed him up against the wall, making him face him. Kyle was about to scream when Bane leaned forward and kissed him passionately. Kyle kissed back, murring, and slightly confused.
"What was that for?" Kyle saked breathlessly.
"Didn't I tell you I might have better things to do?" Bane grinned and threw Kyle over his shoulder, carrying him off into the bedroom
