It had barely been a month since Jake came back to Gale's house and he couldn't help but feel like things were returning to some sort of normality, thanks especially to Gale's family and both their friends, except of his food problem which he was still fighting, but slowly succeeding with it.

Gale, Jake, Trevor, Leo and Gale's father sat at the table, a small plates of food sat in front of Jake. Gale sat in his normal uniform, now dyed emerald green as a over colour with a blood red base colour and as the straps. Trevor sported a identical uniform opposite him on the table, Jake wore a dark blue t-shirt and denim jeans that were still slightly baggy on him. Gale's father wore his dark grey overcoat over a white polo shirt without a tie.

"Please try to eat a bit more, dear." Gale said, placing a paw on his arm.

"I'm trying," Jake snapped.

"We're just trying to help you, Jake." Trevor said.

"I-I know, I'm sorry I snapped." Jake apologised.

"It's ok, we know it's hard." Leo said, comforting him.

Jake smiled sweetly, taking another almost forced bite from his potato. He gulped it and breathed out heavily.

"I can't eat anymore, I'm sorry."

"No, that's good. It's sure as hell more than when we started," Gale said with a smile, taking the plate and dealing with it in the kitchen.

"Thanks guys, for everything."

"It's fine. One for the pack, the pack for one as we say." Gale's father said. He smiled at Jake for a moment before nodding at Gale as he walked in, who's eyes went wide with excitement.

"Is there something I should know about?" Jake asked.

"It's a surprise, my love." Gale said, giving him a passionate kiss.

"Guys keep it PG please," Leo said, making all of them laugh, even Gale's father.

"How about we let Gale and Jake alone to sort a few things out," Leo said. The rest of the table agreed with him and started saying their goodbyes.

At this moment Jake knew the others were part of whatever Gale and his father had planned. When he and Gale were the only ones left Gale took his hand and lead him from the table. "Come with me," he said softly.

"I always will," he replied with as smile.

Gale lead him into the corridor next to the stairs and pulled on one of the lights, that revealed itself as a lever. A second passed before Jake heard a low unlocking sound and a door moved slightly inwards into the staircase. Gale lead Jake down the stairs but stopped him just before the corner, "close your eyes."

"Is this when I get my surprise?" Jake asked while doing his best begging dog impression.

Gale smiled from ear to ear at the site of Jake returning to normal. "It is."

Jake smiled, put his hand into Gale's paw, and closed his eyes.

Gale brought him carefully around the corner and into the middle of the room that followed. He moved behind Jake and put his arms around his middle and his muzzle beside his neck.

"Open your eyes."

Jake did so and his eyes fell upon a mannequin his height, a emerald green and blood red Assassins uniform on it, identical to the ones Gale and Trevor wore. Jake just stared at it with shocked eyes and his mouth gaping open.

"You like it?" Gale asked.

"D-do I l-like it? I love it!" Jake exclaimed, turning and hugging Gale in a soft but loving hug. "I love you Gale, my own furry miracle."

"I love you too, don't ever forget that." Gale said softly, "so do you want to try it out?"

"Need you ask?"

After a few minutes Jake was out of his normal clothes and into his new uniform, the cloth hugging to his frame as if it was tailor made for him.

"When did you get my measurements?" Jake asked curiously.

"I-it m-might have happened when you were asleep," Gale said with a cute smile. "It's also made from nanotechnology that moulds to your frame as it changes, we only needed your general measurements to program the nanotech."

"Did you just get your geek on?"

"Yeah I come in geek mode now," Gale said with a smile.

"I think I like the geek mode," Jake said, putting his arms around Gale's neck and pressed his lips against his.

"I think you might like your first mission even better though," Gale said.

"What do you mean?"

"Here," Gale said, giving him the piece of paper that he held in one of his pocket.

Jake looked at the sheet and turned pale, the sheet showed the pictures of two humans that burnt holes into Jake's life.

"Are you up to it?" Gale asked.

Jake took a moment before looking straight into his eyes, "train me."
