The Wolf's Requiem (part 4)
#4 of The Wolf's Requiem

The lights were shinning hours before the concert was set to start, aimed into the air like search lights. The concert hall was a large, smoothed edged, rectangle in a very football field style. The main stage was to the north and covered the flat middle, the seats took to the east, west, and south.
Jake and Gale walked to the giant concert hall, their wide eyes darting all around in amazement of the sights and sounds. When they entered they were greeted by the rush of pre-concert vibe, humans and furs sat in the seats all around the elongated stage. Gale and Jake walked down the stairs to their seats and were greeted by two furs, a German Shepard and a African Lion.
"Gale, my main man, how's it going?" The German Shepard asked, fist bumping Gale.
"It's good man, Jake this is Trevor," Gale gestured the German Shepard. "And this is Leo."
Jake shook both of the fur's paws and sat down next to Gale. Jake started off the conversation with small talk.
"So, how do you two know Gale?" Jake asked.
"Me and Gale know each other from secondary school," Trevor said.
"I met him through the Brotherhood while on a mission," Leo said.
"The Brotherhood?" Jake asked.
"You don't know?"
"Gale doesn't like to talk about this stuff."
"Well I'll leave it to Gale to say what he wants, he can be a bit picky at these things." Trevor said, receiving a growl from Gale.
"Hey, down boy." Leo said, making all four of them laugh
"So, Jake, how do you know Gale?" Leo asked, taking a long drink.
Before Jake answered he looked at Gale wondering if he wanted them to know. Gale nodded.
"I'm his mate," Jake said.
"Mate!" Leo half shouted from his drink, coughing from a bit of it going down the wrong way.
"Are you ok?" Jake asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit of a shock, that's all." Leo said, still coughing slightly.
"Understandable," Gale said.
"Why didn't you tell us man?" Trevor asked.
"I didn't know how you'd react," Gale said.
"You mean you didn't know?"
"Know what?"
"About us," Trevor said.
"You mean you're...?"
"Duh man, haven't you noticed how much time we spent together?" Trevor asked, putting his paw into Leo's.
Gale just put his head into his paws, "I feel so stupid."
All three of them went 'aww' and Jake put his arms around his mate.
"You could never be stupid," Jake said, giving him a small kiss.
"Thanks," Gale replied, kissing him back.
After a moment the whole crowd went crazy as The Difurent Way came out onto the stage, waving to five thousand odd humans and furs in the crowd. They started playing and the crowd stood and put their arms into the air, singing along with their number one hit 'The Fur On My Skin'. The Difurent Way played varius songs for two hours straight before taking a half an hour break to rest.
"I'm heading to the toilet, be back in a minute." Jake said, getting up.
"Ok, take your time." Gale said.
After twenty minutes Gale started to worry, his mind told him to wait but he knew something was wrong. He got up, told Leo and Trevor where he was going, and quickly went to the nearest toilet. When he entered he heard heavy breathing, groans and sobbing.
"S-stop, please." Came Jake's voice from one of the cubicles.
"You'll take it like the dog loving bitch you are!" Another voice said from the cubicle.
Gale went one all fours and looked under the doors, seeing two pairs of feet in the third one. He got up, climbed the door quickly and silently went into the right position. He didn't want to look down but he forced himself to, Jake was pinned up against a wall being taken from behind by a human. Gale's eyesight went red and before he knew what he was doing he jumped down and roundhouse kicked the humans head, forcing him back and through the door. Gale ran to the human and started kicking him in his groin. His anger started to calm as his eyesight returned to normal.
After a minute Gale stopped kicking the human and ran to Jake, who was curled into a ball. Gale brought Jake's head to his chest and started to sooth him.
"It's going to be ok, I won't let anyone hurt you ever again." Gale whispered into Jake's ear gently, "I love you."
After a minute Trevor and Leo walked in and stared wide eyed at the scene. After a second Leo quickly went to call the police as Trevor started tieing the still half asleep human up.
