Striking from thin air itself as if they were ghosts, the Okkokem are the Kruxo's loyal assassins that never leave any trace behind of their passing. They are so feared and mysterious that even a great majority of the Chalak know nothing about them, the rest fear to speak of them.

From birth they are chosen through a very meticulous and ritualistic selection process to be assimilated into the Okkokem ranks where they are harshly molded into killing machines of precision, both physically and mentally. Their only family is each other and the Kruxo they serve until their last breath. And if their Kruxo dies, they are expected to join him or her into the tomb to forever guard them.

Their armor is plated entirely with the alchemically created Dulkonodur metal that renders them completely invisible to the naked eye. Only by the shadow that is still cast, or if one has magically enhanced awareness can one detect them. Even so their training compensates for those loopholes.

Unlike the bulk of Chalakdoluv warriors, they are trained to use a wide range of weapons and tools that were not meant for winged ones. Including swords of most types, maces, war hammers, daggers and many short and heavy weapons that Chalakdoluv would normally find cumbersome. However their basic loadouts are kept to a bare minimum so their targets are neutralized quickly.

With the growing number of crisis' in Esilym that might threaten the security of the Chalakdoluv people and the Kruxo their numbers have been made thinner and more spread out as of late, especially with the increasing unrest and pent up hatred many other races harbor for Chalak kind. The need for assassination only rises more and more with each passing day.

Too many people are fearing that history will repeat itself and the Chalakdoluv will commit another gorak'bo, or genocide on anyone who stands up against them. Total war and threat of annihilation is waiting to happen at any moment. The Okkokem have never felt more comfortable in these days than now.

A world burning would be bliss for them.
