Chapter 5: The Soul Dew
"What? You mean I'm related to both of you." Latias and Latios nodded. "Wow, how strange."
"I think you mean how cool is that? You are our family, you summoned us." Latios looked at Adam intently and noticed something spherical in his pocket.
"What is that?" Adam looked at his pocket.
"Oh, I almost forgot about it. What is this?" Adam pulled the small green ball from his pocket and showed it to Latias and Latios.
"Hey," Latias started ", I know what that is. That's the soul dew!"
"Huh?" Adam looked as puzzled as ever. "What on earth is a soul dew?" Latias started saying
"A soul dew is very special to us. It keeps this garden stay beautiful. If it was ever taken away from here, the garden will turn into a wasteland where nothing lives." Adam once again looked puzzled, as he looked at the soul dew in his hands. A bright light shined from it as the strange light hit Adam on the chest. Adam fell back dropping the soul dew. Latios flew down and caught the soul dew from the air. Luckily, the soul dew didn't break, it was safe.
"That light... It hit me...On the chest." Adam felt his chest, the pain was still there. His head started to hurt as he sat there on the ground. Latias and Latios looked at the soul dew, then at Adam.
"Odd." Latias thought, ", light hasn't come out of here for at least 100 years!"
"100... Years?!" Adam questioned. Latias nodded
"It means that you are one of us. You are the next in line of our ancestors. You are related to us, in some way."
"I don't understand..." Adam started, using telepathy. "I don't look like either of you... How can I be related to you?"
"Did you just use telepathy?" Adam nodded slowly. How did he do that? "It's true. The light that shined also gives you our powers, of psychic abilities and powers that we possess."
"That really happened? Wow, no wonder. I must be related to you both, if I can use telepathy, due to that light."
"Try saying something." Latias started to use telepathy too. Adam mouth opened but made no sound.
"Guy's," Adam started "I think I just lost my voice."
"Well," Latios started ", we are in a bit of a pickle now, aren't we..."<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
