A Much Needed Break

Two employees are sick and tired of working during the holiday, so of course they go snooping around and decide to have some fun with a game. Though I suppose no one told them that curiosity killed the cat eh?

It was quiet tonight and why shouldn't it be? The rest of the staff was out for the holidays and enjoying their time off. Yet they were stuck here to clean up and make sure that everything was set away the right way before the store could be locked down. Manta had a permanent frown set along his face as he moved up and down the hallways with his cleaning equipment. The Selkath wasn't sure WHY they didn't just hire cleaning bots to do this. They were cheap enough as it was and most businesses had them, but he knew the real answer. His boss hated him. The human had a thing for aliens and the only reason he still worked here was because he was cheap labor. He was good at his job and his boss had potential human employees who would swing on in and demand to work for far more. Even though his boss would look for some excuse to let another take his job he was also far from being an idiot. With how little he paid Manta and the other alien employees he knew he was making a killing so until some human came along and was desperate enough to be paid below Manta's own pay wage, then he could kiss his job good bye, but until that time he would still be employed.

He heard some cursing from another room and set his tools down, going on over and opening it up to see the Squib mechanic, Ron, pacing back and forth in front of the service machine. Unlike the rest of the employees Ron refused to wear the uniform, though Manta couldn't blame the little guy. The uniform he currently wore was far from pleasant and only attributed to the boss' cheap scape way. It consisted of a short sleeved shirt that clutched his chest and a pair of pants that were likewise super tight as well. Every time he moved Manta always found himself trying to be careful and tried his best not to bend over for fear of causing a rip in his pants.

Ron on the other hand simply was kept in the back since he refused to wear the uniform and no doubt most of the boss' patrons would take offense to a Squib that wore only a small loincloth and a pair of shoes. Manta knew that Ron's name was shortened, but that's how the boss had introduced the Squib to them and Ron had just gone along with it so Manta could only assume it didn't bother the Squib that much. Either that or he desperately needed a job and this was the best he could find. Personally Manta knew that Ron could do better. He had seen the Squib while he worked and he knew that Ron was perhaps one of the best mechanics anywhere in this city. The boss knew it too which is why he just let Ron do whatever he wanted with the machines and barely argued with the Squib. No doubt if someone tried to take Ron's job the boss would put up excuse after excuse and in fact that had happened in the past. Even humans who boasted of their abilities with machines couldn't stand up to Ron's speed and efficiency.

"Yo Ron, what's up?" Manta asked as he looked at the frustrated Squib.

The blue furred alien glanced at him and sighed, "Trying to make the do hickey work. It keeps blasting smoke. Boom all over!" He rubbed at his forehead and then shrugged, "We need new parts and boss won't know where to get them."

Manta thought about it for a moment and then gestured out toward the hall, "You know, there is that storage."

The Squib blinked and then crossed his arms, "But boss said no going in there. Nope. No going in or you get the boot!"

Manta smiled, "We're the only ones left around here Ron. Security is off right? We just head in, find some old machines we can grab some parts from, and then we come out and you fix up the machine. It's not that bad. Besides you'll get it working and the boss won't get mad."

Ron thought it over for a bit and hesitantly nodded, "Righto... you sure he won't find out?" The Squib asked nervously.

Manta nodded with a smirk, "Yeah. It won't be that bad at all. We'll take a quick peek in and if nothing can fix it then we'll head out."

Ron nodded a bit and headed on out, "Uh this way right?"

"Yeah." Manta confirmed as he followed the Squib and rubbed at one of his hanging lobes, thinking for a bit. He always wondered why the boss kept them out of there. With the boss' attitude he was sure that he would have forced them to go in there and pull out junk he could sell for scrap, but he never did. There was a lock on the door, but that would be nothing for Ron. The Squib was indeed hesitant but with some encouragement from Manta he managed to work the combination out and the door slowly creaked open.

Dust came out and Manta and Ron ended up coughing. "Damn." Manta muttered as he stepped and felt along until he found the light switch and flicked it on. There were multiple old machines set around the room. Most were busted beyond repair and though the sight wasn't much to Manta Ron was eager to scramble in. "Kroovy!" He cried out as he set among the garbage and peered at the various machines.

Manta just chuckled and walked in after in, "Be careful, don't knick yourself or anything." He advised the Squib. As the Squib set about looking Manta just sat on a busted soda machine and crossed his arms. It was rather hot in the room and after a while the Selkath began to sweat. "Heyo Manta! You really should get out of those duds!" He heard from behind him.

Manta gasped and quickly turned about to see the Squib there smiling at him. Ron chuckled and pointed at him, "You're wetting your clothes you know."

Manta blushed a bit and looked down, "Eh... I think I'll stay in my duds Ron."

Ron chuckled again, "No need to get all red around me Manta. I wear a loincloth!" He emphasized as he reached down and tugged at the fabric, "Can't get much more naked than that!" He said cheerfully. He held up some parts, "I managed to find some stuffs to help though!"

"Already?" Manta asked with wonder, "Geez, you are a mechanic genius."

Ron nodded and went on off and Manta looked down at himself. Yeah... the boss wasn't around and Ron DID wear a loincloth after all... The Selkath sighed and undid his belt. He worked his shirt up and finally over his head and set it off to the side. Although Manta never liked to brag, he was built like an athlete. His pecs and arms were toned and he even sported abs on the verge of being a six pack. It really wasn't his fault that his body was this muscular even. With how he was ordered around daily on his job and forced to raise lift heavy objects or move large items around, his body just naturally adapted. Likewise as he peeled off his pants his built up legs were revealed. He wore a pair of tight fitting briefs on and as he exposed them he heard Ron give a whistle, "Looking good Ron. Come over here, I found something nifty!"

The Selkath's face formed yet another red blush, but he placed his pants down and maneuvered around the garbage until he managed to see a bit of Ron and moved past another pile and whistled in amazement. The Squib was standing before a rather large machine that showed signs of wear and tear. He could see that there were patches of color still managing to cling to the metal framework. The setup of the device was odd as well. There were no seats or such, instead there was a large screen and before the screen was a wide circle that glowed blue.

"Kroovy isn't it!?" Ron asked with a wide grin. "I just found it and I know what it is!" He said eagerly. "We had some of these back at home! It's a bang bang!"

Manta cocked his head, "A what?"

"Bang bang! You know." He held his arms out as if he was holding a blaster rifle and made shooting sounds.

"Oh... a gun game huh?" Manta frowned, "Well... no one is around." He grinned a bit, "I don't see why we can't play. Is it on?"

Ron nodded and pointed to the blue glow surrounding the ring. "We'll need these." He explained as he held out a strange white ring to Manta, "It goes around your eyes and you can see inside the world!"

"Heh, virtual reality. That's cool." He said. "So on the platform and that's it?"

"Righto!" Ron said as he got inside the blue circle and slide his down over his eyes. Manta chuckled at his eagerness and moved next to him and slid his down as well. He was greeted with darkness, and then a blue glow entered his eyes and he could see that he was in a white room. Ron was next to him and a electronic voice droned out, "Greetings users. Please select a stage." Four squares appeared in front of the two and each had a different look. One showed a forest, another showed a laboratory of sorts, another was a underwater city, and the last was a factory.

"Oh oh! This one!" Ron said eagerly as he tapped the factory one.

"Entering stage, robotic factory. Be prepared."

Darkness surrounded them and a second later the two were in the factory they had seen on the square. They still had the clothing they wore when they entered the game, but now they had blaster rifles in their hands and a blue screen appeared in front of the two, "Greetings men. We have a hostile situation in here. Approximately 500 hours ago a breach occurred in security. The droids this facility produces went haywire and began to capture civilians. Your mission is to head inside and push back these rouge robots and save any civilians you come across. Now remember, these are crowd controlling robots, os they'll be tougher to take down, but they also shouldn't be able to harm you that much. Mostly they'll be attempting to restrain you in various ways as per their programming. Now that you know your opponents get in there and save those civilians!" And with that the screen faded away.

"Hm, it'll be cool! Just a bit of steam off!" Ron said eagerly. The little Squib was already eagerly waving his rifle around, "Hehe, this'll be tons of fun!" He said happily.

Ron's cheery attitude was already affecting Manta. "Heh, this it will!" He pulled up his own rifle and began to move forward, "So then we'll take this nice and slow and enjoy it."

Ron nodded as Manta took the lead and the two moved on down the hallway they were in. Soon they came upon a door and Manta pulled it open to reveal a large warehouse with countless robotic parts laying on the shelves. He could already see some movement between the shelves and grinned, "Heh, looks like that there are already some patrols going on. You want to stick together? We can cover more ground if we go different directions. You know, while I hit them from the front you hit them from the front."

Ron nodded happily and rubbed his gun, "Yeah, that sounds kroovy! I can blast them all from the back, boom boom!"

Manta chuckled, "Alright, hop to it then."

The Squib flashed him a thumbs up and glanced about before rushing off to the left. Manta waited a bit as Ron disappeared from sight before he raised his gun and slowly made his way forward. It felt odd fighting robots in only his briefs to say the least, but then again it was FAR better than trying to move around in his uniform. He slowly made his way up to the first shelf and peeked around the corner. Two bots were there that were currently moving spare parts around, almost as if searching for a specific thing. Manta glanced around again and leaped out from behind his corner. He pressed on the trigger and energy was shot out at the bots. There wasn't a kick like most blaster rifles had and that made it easier for him to aim.

He managed to score a few hits on the first bot that succeeded in pushing it back a bit. The second bot quickly moved forward and he aimed his rifle at it next, blasting it back. The only problem was that his shots didn't seem to affect the two. They were riot control bots after all, they were built to be tough after all. A plan formed in his mind and he continued to shoot, every so often switching targets. The blasts were causing them to stagger back and if he kept switching between the two then they wouldn't be able to reach him. The strategy worked easily enough as after a while the two bots ended up falling over with steam pouring out from the bullet holes. The Selkath frowned at how long it had taken him to defeat these bots and remembered the way the levels had been arranged in the menu. The factory had been the last one, so did that mean it was the hardest one?

Meanwhile Ron was moving around the shelves, his small body able to ensure he could stay well hidden and squeeze between small opening in the shelves. He kept on moving through the shelves, every so often having to duck behind some boxes to avoid a wandering patrol bot. Though there were only a few patrol bots here and there, so it really wasn't that hard to avoid them. As he kept on moving he finally got to a hallway that was empty. He lowered his weapon and glanced about. He slowly made his way along trying his best to not make too much noise, and he was succeeding. No guards had come yet, and as he turned around a corner he felt an itch spring up along his shoulder. He idly scratched at the area and moved on, holding his gun out as he advanced. However he felt something brush against his fur on his shoulder. He idly wipe at his fur and moved on. He had to stop again though as he felt something odd along the rest of his arm, almost as if something had wrapped around his arm. He looked down and couldn't see anything on his fur, but in an instant he felt the same sensation happen with his other arm.

He blinked in surprise and as he tried to move his right arm he felt as if it snagged against something. He grunted and gave another tug, but at that moment he felt something pull along his left and his left arm rose up with his hand high above his head. The same soon happened with his right. He tried to tug his arms down but whatever force gripped them refused to let them go. Finally they were let down and his left arm maneuvered itself right in front of his face and as his eyes peered at his arms he soon caught sight of something shimmering in the light. He let his eyes move to view above his arm and as his eyes adjusted he caught sight of it. Wires. Tiny threads and as he looked back down at his arm he could now see that the wires were wrapped around his limb. He cast a glance at his hand to see every finger had wires wrapped around them. His elbow had a string and as he glanced along his bicep and forearm he could see multiple wires that had wrapped around the areas. He glanced over to his other arm and easily picked out the shimmering wires that kept it bound.

His eyes however were soon drawn forward as he saw more wires swinging down. He tried to move his lower body, but it was too late. Countless strings started wrapping down and now that he was aware of his presence he easily felt the wires quickly wrapped around his legs. They started with his upper thighs and proceeded down his legs, making sure to wind around his knees and even his calfs. With his boots they were unable to get to his feet, but as his fingers wiggled about in mid-air he quickly realized that he was in deep trouble. Suddenly his arms began to move, his left one rising up high into the air. His right hand began to wiggle its fingers about in mid air. His struggles stopped however when his right hand suddenly dashed to his exposed pit and a single fingertip wiggled against his hollow.

The surprise attack took Ron by surprise and he burst into laughter. His armpit just happened to be his major weakness with tickling and so two fingers began to wiggle against the skin. Ron tried to keep back his laughter, but having already exploded he was quick to let more laughter escape his mouth. The tickling stopped momentarily, but before he could recover from the surprise assault he soon felt all five fingers moving about in his armpit and he burst into loud howls of laughter. He tried to pull his hand away, yet the strings were too strong. He could only watch on as his fingers move of their own accord and danced about wildly in his pit. After a while the hand began to move and slowly it went to tease between his ribs and finally to attack his left side. All the while Ron was helpless with laughter. The loudest shrieks of glee came from his armpit and as the fingers moved against his side he only let out light giggles. His right hand pulled away and now it was his right side that was the victim as it rose up and his left hand danced the same routine that had been performed moments ago.

Ron was booming with laughter and struggling desperately now, but as his left hand moved to his side he could feel his right hand being lowered and both hand positioned themselves along his stomach and dug their tips right into his navel. Booming laughter, like that when his armpits had been tickled, echoes around the warehouse. Ron screamed and howled, soon falling into begging, but his cries for mercy fell on deaf ears.

"NOHOHO! STAHAHAHAP!" The poor Squib screamed out, but the hands didn't pay attention to him. They moved up slowly to see how ticklish his pecs were, but his laughter quickly died down and so the hands stopped. Ron took in shaky breaths, too weary to fight for the moment as the strings began to tug along his body, forcing him to retrieve his weapon and move along the shelves. The Squib passed by various bots who only cast passing glances at him. Their sensors easily picked up the nerve strings that now controlled the alien and marked him as friendly on their HUDs. For now the rest of the bots got into position and Ron followed along, positioning himself behind a shelf and readying his rifle. He tried to speak but as he opened his mouth he felt it quickly clamp shut. He couldn't even squirm that much with most of his control gone and hoped that Manta would find him soon and be able to shoot these strings off of his body.

The Selkath had been taking his time making his way through the shelves. From the few games he did play in his youth he had learned that if you let an enemy stay behind you, then you could count your loss then and there. Of course that thought process strayed a bit when he heard loud screams echoing around the area. He soon heard laughter coming out and he gripped his rifle even tighter. Was that... Ron? What had that Squib gotten into now!?

Manta picked up the pace, running between the shelves as fast as he could toward the sound of the laughter. He couldn't find the Squib before the squeals cut off and he could only assume he had probably lost a life. Hm... now that he thought about it HOW many lives did they have? Could he try to revive him if he got close enough? They REALLY should have played a tutorial level first!

Despite his questioning mind he continued forward and reached the end of the shelves and peeked around the corner. He couldn't see anything so he stepped out, only to quickly jump back behind his cover as blaster shots were fired at him. He managed to peek again and even though he had to move his head behind cover yet again he had caught a glimpse of his attacker. For some reason Ron was now attacking him. Had the Squib been gripping the trigger finger for too long or was he just a trigger happy individual? Manta just rolled his eyes and called out to him, "Ron, it's me Manta! Sheesh you almost took my head off!"

As he spoke to his coworker Manta ended up not paying attention to the area behind him that he had 'cleared' out earlier. Silently a robot began to sneak up on the Selkath and as he finished his little speech it struck. Its hands moved and easily grabbed the oblivious Selkath's wrists and in one quick motion it spread his arms wide apart. Manta cried out at the action and his weapon ended up falling out of his grip and clattered onto the ground. He squirmed against the grip that now held his wrists, but he heard a clicking sound and looked down to see that several robot hands now moved out to his restrained body. He was quick to step back and got the bright of idea of slamming his back against a shelf. As he moved to turn he felt something click around his ankles. He looked down and saw that a smaller robot now gripped his ankles and as he tried to pull his feet up he would only feel as if his feet were glued to the floor.

Manta cried out and could only squirm about as the extra hands began to place themselves against his armpits and ribs. When the fingers began to wiggle against his blue skin he quickly clamped his lips together and shook his head, trying to deny what was happening to him. The hands explored along each and every rib while his underarms had countless fingers wiggling against about.

The Selkath lower lip twitched as the rib tickling hands moved to start squeezing his sides, though as he stared on before him he saw Ron moving around the corner. The Squib came right up to him and dropped his gun silently.

"R-Ron! Dahahammit h-help me o-out!" He cried out. The Squib didn't respond, instead he kneeled down and his two hands began to wiggle his fingers against the Selkath's upper inner thigh. Manta let out a burst of laughter as the area was tickled and his knees shivered bit. "N-No! Stohohohop!" He giggled out as Ron let his fingers flick against his smooth skin. Faster and faster the fingers went and as their speed increased so did the volume of Manta's laughter. After a while the Squib's fingers explored the rest of his thigh and when the hit along the back of his knees a loud cry of glee escaped Manta's throat and his blushing face became an even deeper shade of red. The hands fluttered against that sensitive skin for a while and moved down when Manta began coughing. The calves achieved no laughter but as the Squibs fingers flicked along the bottom of his soles the Selkath once more released bursting laughter.

Ron's body stood back up and the machine that had grabbed onto Manta suddenly clamped his hands against his waist and the machine that had grabbed his ankles released them. The robot pulled him up into the air and began marching along with him with the Squib being compelled to follow along. The rest of the machines resumed patrolling as the two were led to a door and the robot kicked the door in. The room was medium sized and had two strange contraptions set up in the middle. They looked to be some sort of restraining gear and had straps that looked to restrain the wrists, ankles, and waists of those put in it. As they entered the room Manta could hear something drop to the floor behind them and managed to twist his head about to see a small spider like bot had dropped to the floor. The threads that controlled Ron were linked up to this bot and the machine tugged the Squib about to approach one of the restraints and forced him to lift his arms. The spider went about and clamped the shackles around his body and pulled away, the strings snapping free from the Squib and letting him finally be able to speak.

Most of the words coming out of Ron's mouth must have been Squib cuss words because Manta had never heard words that sounded so goofy. The Robot in charge of him briefly let him go in front of the restraints, but before Manta could try and fight back the spider bot shot out it's controlling wires to quickly wrap up his limbs and numb them. Manta could only watch as he bent over and strapped the restraints around his ankles and waist and proceeded to raise his arms as the other robot strapped him in. The threads pulled away and the two exited the room.

By this point Ron's anger was starting to die down and he just stood there in his restraints. Manta tugged at his own restraints, trying to see if he could find a weak point. That didn't matter was the metal frames pulled away and the metal shackles they wore glowed a bright blue. Manta's arms suddenly were forced to bend in a ninety degree angle while Ron's were forced to spread out. Manta's legs parted a bit and Ron's were lifted into the air. There was a brief moment of struggling from the two when a voice chuckled from the darkness, an electronic voice. "Well well, police sent to quell us. How interesting."

From the other side of the room stepped out another machine, one that was much larger than the others and had a rather expansive chest area. It's red eyes settled on the two for a moment, looking them up and down before walking closer and stopping, "I see two ticklish offices have been caught. That is good. Now... we need the codes. You two SHOULD know them, no?"

"Codes?" Manta asked, "What are you talking about?"

The machine cast its emotionless red eyes on the Selkath, "I am talking about the codes that control our circuits. With such codes we could free ourselves from the computer mainframe and help to free other robots that remain deactivated here." The machine's chest opened up to reveal a variety of electronic limbs that stretched out. Half had feathers on the end and the other half had mechanical arms. "I will not go easy on you two. Unless you tell me what the codes are, then I will torture you two. I will tickle each and every sweet spot you have until you fall unconscious. Then I will go to your partner and tickle him till he can't breathe anymore as well. I will show no mercy and exploit every spot I can find. You two will sweat, you two will squeal, and possibly you two will wet yourselves numerous times. Who shall go first?"

The machine glanced between the two, then moved over to step in front of the terrified Ron, "Yes, the one that became a puppet for a while. You shall do nicely."

The squib whimpered and shut his eyes as two feathers moved forth and began to slowly move up and down along his exposed hollows. Another feather came and lightly flicked along his navel, moving to slip into his belly button and swirl about in there. Finally two hands moved to tickle along the Squib's soles. The effect was immediate as Ron burst into giggling laughter and squirmed around while the tickling instruments slowly took their tole on his body.

"Talk Squib." The torturer demanded as two additional hands shot out to kneed his ribs. Ron's howls only grew louder and louder as the feather as his pits began to speed up. One moved up and down along his hollow while the other adopted a pattern of swirling about in a circle. The hands on his ribs felt between the ribs, every so often moving down to tease the next inch of sensitive skin, but that was nothing compared to what the hands were doing on his feet. As the Squib's toes tried to curl up hands that held up string came out and restrained those toes, forcibly pulling them back and exposing their undersides.

As the fingers hit along the undersides Ron's laughter shot up rather quickly. Tears formed in the squibs eyes while his body shook around like jelly, though his trembling turned to outright thrashing as small toothbrushes came out and began to move along his arches. Some stayed in place but most moved up and down or were lifted off the skin to be placed in a random location along the feet. The feather tickling his navel moved around in a circle, would move up and down, would zig zag, and even sometimes would look as if it was painting a picture on the trembling abdomen.

Manta jerked about in his own bonds, entirely helpless as he watched Ron screaming his head off. By this point the Squib had tears streaming down his face and his normally blue colored fur was now a deep shade of red along his cheeks.

"Coochie coo Squib. The only way this will stop is if you talk." The machine taunted. The restraints around his ankles pulled his legs apart as countless feathers flew out to dance along his calves, knees, and thighs. The areas weren't really that ticklish on their own accord, but the sheer number of feathers tickling the Squib did cause him to laugh even louder.

Ron wasn't sure how much time passed, but he was getting rather hot by this point and he could feel sweat pouring out over every inch of his fur. He tried to speak, honest he did, but every time he opened his mouth a high pitched squeal of laughter escaped instead. With each and every feather stroke he could feel his thoughts turning slowly to dribble and it finally got to the point that he wasn't really even thinking anymore. All he knew was that he was laughing and that he was being tickled by a sadistic droid.

As time passed the feathers and hands were slowly drawn away, only to be replaced by electric toothbrushes and small polishers that pressed into his sensitive areas. However after an hour passed the machine was no closer to its answers, so it pulled back and observed the Squib's rather wet and shaking form. It took a while for Ron to realize it was over before he broke down into sobs of relief. The machine stepped up to him and a clicking sound could be heard in his metal chest plate. Out from the dark interior four small metallic spiders leapt out and landed on the still immobile Ron. Wasting no time two dashed to his pits while the other two were just as quick to position themselves on his feet. The six metal legs held onto his form as their bottoms opened up. Small legs reached out and began to swipe over the skin of their victim. The swished back and forth and Ron was soon jerking about and letting out light giggles. They weren't aiming for him to scream and pass out. Oh no. They wanted the Squib to remain conscious and ultimately drive him into the throngs of insanity.

As Ron giggled and jerked about the robot stepped in front of Manta and the Selkath found his feet being pulled forward by the restraints until his whole body lower body was taunt. The robot's hand reached into its chest and it pulled out a small jar filled with small insects. Its other hand reached in and pulled out another jar filled with some orange substance. It opened the orange jar and began to coat the Selkath's inner upper thighs, the back of his knees, and his feet with the strange substance. It then proceeded to open the jar of insects and let the bugs fly out. They all keyed in on the orange meal and flew down to cover the Selkath's body and proceeded to lick up the fluids.

As Manta joined in Ron in releasing helpless laughter the machine buzzed lightly, "You see Selkath, these are a special breed of insect. Dubbed the tickle fly, its tongue has been designed to feel like a feather across the skin. As they lick their meal off of your body you'll feel as if hundreds of feathers are tickling you. Lovely isn't it?"

Manta's booming laughter was the only reply the machine received. It soon moved to his upper body and pulled out two blue cords that it snapped around the Selkath's wrists. As soon as the cords were on various holograms appeared around the Selkath's body... holograms that looked exactly like Manta's own hands!

"Yes, be prepared to face the wrath of your own form." The machine commented. All at once these blue holograms moved to tickle along his hollows, ribs, and stomach. They all performed light strokes and in general teasing of the areas, which only caused Manta to laugh louder than Ron.

The machine pulled back and inspected the scene a bit more, making sure that everything was going well before it nodded, "Yes, you two shall do fine here. Shall we say... an hour's time then? I shall return at that moment, but try not to be driven insane in that time limit. I do have quite a number of techniques to perform." The machine walked on out, leaving only his two hostages with their laughter to keep them company.

Meanwhile in the store itself one would see a curious sight if they were to step in. Past mountains of boxes in the usually locked door was a machine that had a Selkath and a Squib standing on it. Both wore vizors around their eyes and were screaming out loud with laughter. They struggled about to move their limbs, but it appeared that the two were unable to reach up to try and disable the reality vizors they wore. Their laughter boomed around the empty room and would progressively get louder, softer, and eventually stop only to start up once more. Their faces sported red blushes, their bodies were covered in sweat, and tears leaked out of their eyes and down their cheeks. The holiday that had emptied the store lasted for three days straight. Perhaps if there had been another employee in the store, then they might be saved, but as it stood now, the two were helpless to the whims of the AI within a rather simple video game.
