Cael woke up to the sun leaking through the blinds. He sat up and stretched feeling like a new man. He got up and turned to smile, seeing Sela still sleeping. Cael pulled the blankets to cover her and smiled to head to the bathroom.

When Cael walked in and turned on the light, he noticed himself in the mirror. Now that he's over the initial shock of what happened to him last night, he actually rather likes the way he looks now. He looked at the blackish-blue fur that now covers his body, and noticed that his eyes had changed from blue to gold. Cael grinned, showing off his new teeth. No one would ever ignore him again, considering how shocking the color of fur he ended up getting, not to mention the shimmering sparkle in his eyes.

As Cael relieved himself, he began thinking. He could even stand up to Bruce completely, without the fear of retaliation from him. Hell, He'd probably freak Bruce out just with how he looked now, and the best part is that if Bruce saw him, he wouldn't even be recognized.

When he was done, he came out and saw that Sela was still sleeping. He chuckled softly and went over to kiss her softly on her forehead then he went to his backpack to pull out an ocarina. He immediately noticed that while it kept it's original shape, it also seemed to have changed as if by the same unseen force that changed him to fit his new form so he could still play it. As Cael looked over the ocarina more, he began to notice the changes that were made to it. He noticed how much more natural it felt in his paws, how it curved to fit and fill his palms while still allowing him to move his digits across the surface to the holes. It was at this time that Cael noticed that his new paws are just as flexible as his hands were.

Cael then put on one of Sela's robes since he wasn't sure if his clothes would fit or even if they were changed as well, and he went out onto her porch to see the sun was rising. Cael sat down on a chair and started to play, forgetting to shut the porch door so he wouldn't wake Sela as he immersed himself in the music he was playing.

Sela stirred softly then sat up as she stretched to open her eyes. She turned to where Cael was sleeping and immediately noticed he wasn't next to her. Sela looked around her room quickly and in her bathroom but couldn't find him anywhere. She felt very saddened and was about to cry thinking that she had lost a potential mate forever when she heard strange, beautiful music coming from the porch.

Sela walked into her living room to notice that her porch door was open and when she walked over to it, she noticed Cael sitting in a chair facing the horizon and the rising sun, playing on an instrument she's never seen before. Sela smiled and leaned against the doorway, as she looked upon the beautiful scene before her, listening to Cael's music when he stopped. Cael started to stand up when Sela hugged him from behind.

"That was beautiful hun." Sela kissed Cael on the cheek and held him close. Cael smiled and looked at her, "Thanks sweetie. Sorry if I woke you." Cael returned the kiss to the cheek and stood up to head inside with her and sets the orcarina down on the table and heads into the kitchen.

Sela smiled and followed Cael to see that he was getting out some pans and food to come over and help out. "It's alright though I was a bit worried that I had lost you when I didn't see you next to me when I woke up." She spoke with a slight tremble in her voice almost as if her feelings of losing love came back upon her.

Immediately upon hearing this, Cael hugged her tightly and close to him. "I would never leave. Not after all you've done to help me, Sela." He smiled at her and kissed her softly on her lips and held her hands. "Tho I was worried that you wouldn't want me as a mate since I've taken this form now somehow." As Cael spoke, he looked a little saddened as he looked at Sela. Sela looked at him to kiss him passionately on his lips to smile. "I was going to ask you to be my mate anyway, regardless of the fact that you had a human form, but I guess this form is much more fitting." She placed a hand on his chest softly. "I could sense that you have a spirit of a wolf inside and I guess something else saw it as well and decided to bring it out. " Sela smiled and kissed Cael on his muzzle.

Cael smiled and kissed Sela on her lips. "Shall we eat breakfast?" Sela nodded and blushed as Cael softly moved her out of the way to get out the pancake mix, eggs, bacon and sausage, of course with Sela's help locating everything, including the correct pans, to start cooking the eggs and the meat while he heats up a pan and stirs the pancake mix together. Sela was amazed at the skill that Cael showed at making sure the eggs, bacon and sausage all got cooked evenly and never got burned while he started to make the pancakes. "Scrambled eggs ok with you, hun?" Cael turned down the heat on the other items so that they could stay warm without the risk of getting burned while he flipped the pancakes over. Sela nodded and smiled. "i prefer scrambled honestly. And you're amazing at cooking up a meal." She watched in amazement at Cael's cooking. He blushed as the pancakes cooked. "My parents taught me to cook as soon as I could see over the counter. Which I guess was a good thing since I lost them in a tragic accident soon afterwards I could fix myself full meals." Cael shook a bit at the resurfacing of a memory he's kept buried since it happened.

Sela hugged him tightly and kissed his cheek. "I'm sorry to hear that. And I'm also sorry that it brought up bad memories." Cael smiled at her and holds her paws softly. "Don't worry about it, hun. I've got plenty of happy memories of them. Plus I'll be making more with you by my side." Sela blushed and held Cael's hands tightly as she looked into his eyes. "Same goes for me with you." She smiled as she looked at Cael.

Cael turned to flip the pancakes and makes sure that they all are evenly cooked to distribute the food evenly between two plates and hands one of the plates with a fork to Sela, which she gladly took and smelling the food. "It smells absolutely amazing!" Her eyes sparkled at the thought of tasting the food that hernewly chosen mate made. Cael chuckled softly and smiled at her. "If I'm still good at cooking then it should taste even better than it smells." He went over to the table with Sela and they both sat down when Cael immedately got up again. "I forgot the drinks." Cael went back into the kitchen to put the food items away in their respectful places then got out the orange juice and two glasses to pour himself and his new mate a glass of orange juice. He put the orange juice back in the fridge to carry the glasses over to the table and smiled placing one infront of Sela to sit back down. "There we go. " Cael smiled at her and she grabbed his hand softly but firmly. "Thanks hun." Sela held his hand as they both closed their eyes and Cael say a prayer before eating.
