Trying, once again, writing something more realistic :3

They greeted him when he entered the room; it was a comforting view, one that made dream of the pleasant days he passed in their companies. The memories were pleasant, always leading to new possibilities; it was each time a new reinvention, a new discovery, for his imagination always found a way to made them function in other ways.

But as he looked at them today, he started to wonder; what if this was just a way for him to indulge himself into a routine, an element that would comfort him without challenging the reality surrounding him.

He didn't need to make an effort, nor even imagine new possibilities; they were already accustomed to his body, having explored him in ways that he would have never thought possible.

He looked at them; there were plenty of length, colors and even sizes, but they were all the same, in the end; as different as they pretended to be, these toys gave him the same impression of déjà vu, as if their purpose were no more a matter to him. Perhaps it was his fault for assuming that it would last forever...

He even gave them names; they were his lovers, the one filling his lonely nights, as he welcomed them in his bed, inventing scenarios where they would replace people he saw or meet in the day, giving himself to his own passion and imagination.

But even then, the excitement was starting to fade away; they were always the same, and the names, identities and stories were starting to be similar, making him realize that he needed to expand his mind, that without looking forward, he would be stuck in the same routine, without any hope of escaping it.

He went on a journey, one that took him on the darkest corners of humanity; he saw images that would have scarred his mind if he had the time to notice them. He was in a hurry, not caring about what was offered to him, unless it could help him...

He was going to give up on his search until, one day, he saw a certain add on an obscure website. At first, he was uncertain that it could even help him on his quest; it was probably just another form of spam, waiting for him to click to infect his computer with viruses, leaving defenseless in the eyes of those that seek his identity.

But it was so tempting; as the day passed, the urge grew in him, making him wonder if his paranoia was truly worth or not. It was just a simple click, a simple agreement and he would be able to see what that page was hiding from him.

He clicked the link, not caring the consequences anymore; he needed to see, to explore what it was, whatever it was, for it could finally bring a solution to his problem. What he saw what beyond what he expected; it wasn't a simple resource or images, but a whole new universe that was now opened to him now...

He was used to the traditional forms and colors; now, with what he was seeing, there so much more offered to him, in term of shape and color. But this wasn't the most important point, the one that truly mattered to him. He could have always found toys with a special design and it would have given the same result, in the end...

They weren't only toys; they had a story for each, a specific character linked to each of them. It could have disturbed him, to indulge in such fantasies, but he realized in the matter of passion and love, one had to be exuberant, to keep an open mind to make sure that life wouldn't be a mere repetition of tasks.

So many possible being, all with different stories offered to him; all he had to do was to choose, to indulge himself to the new world that was opening in front of him. There was so many choices, so many paths he could follow...

One after the other, he would follow them, trying to visualize the creature and the story being each toy, breaking the routine he was trapped in. All he could do now was to give his thanks to his... savior. Who could have thought that a website with the name Bad Dragon could have brought such a change in his perspective?
