#1 of A different kind of training

This is the prologue to my first adult themed series (AKA porn!) Not much happens in this. It's mainly introducing the trainer. I only did a brief proofread, so pardon any grammatical errors.

For a better idea of what Ronan looks like https://www.sofurry.com/view/648706

Comments and critics are welcome as long as the criticism is constructive and not just flaming. Happy reading ;)

Disclaimer: I do not own pokemon. They are owned by some big corporation that I don't care to remember.A

Warning: This series contains adult themes that include M/M, trainer/pokemon, pokemon/pokemon, and rimming. If any of these are not your style or you are under 18 years of age, please leave.

This chapter contains no adult situation, but does contain a background on the trainer if you care to learn about him.

AN: This story takes place several years after the anime series. The pokemon have migrated and can be found basically anywhere. The technology has also advanced somewhat. Happy reading!

It's been a week since I've started my journey as a pokemon trainer... and I still haven't gotten my starter yet. "Why do I have to live so far away from a pokemon professor?" I grumbled. "They could've at least bought me a ride to get there."

A little explanation might be in order. My name is Ronan. I grew up in a secluded area. My parents had acquired Silph Co. many years ago and have made many strides in the field of technology. In turn, they have become quite wealthy. They had hired a nanny to look after me while I was child so that they could focus on their work. Not to say that they were negligent parents. They made sure to put me in their schedule. I was taught by tutors so I barely left the house. It was a nice childhood, even if it was a little lonely.

I first became interested in becoming a pokemon trainer after I saw the Kanto national tournament. The pokemon battles were amazing. Having nothing much else to do, I researched them. I learned so much about them. All the different types, abilities, attacks, I read up as much as I could. But I didn't only see them as fighters. Having no kids my own age around here, I've always wondered what it would be like to have a friend. That's what I saw pokemon as, new friends.

And now, a week after I set off, I will finally have my starter pokemon...

I finally caught sight of Professor Oak's lab. A sigh of relief escaped unbidden, although appropriately. I hiked up my pack and broke into a jog towards the true start of my journey. The front doors slid open as I approached. I entered the lab and called out for Professor oak.

From somewhere deeper in the lab I could could Professor Oak call out, "Is someone there? I'll be right out." Moments later Professor Oak entered the room from a hallway that led farther inside. "You must be the new trainer, Ronan," he said after looking me over.

"Yeah," I acknowledged. "I can't wait to start my journey."

He chuckled and replied, "A lot of trainers say that, but it won't be the luxurious life that you've been brought up with."

"I know," I agreed, "but I'm ready."

The Professor smiled. "Usually I only allow new trainers to choose from three pokemon, but I could make an exception-" I cut him off.

"No!" I exclaimed. "I don't want to be treated special just because of who my parents are. I'll choose from the regular starters."

"Okay then, which starter do you want?" He walked over to a table that had three pokeballs lying on it. They each had a mark to show their element on them as an indicator of which starter they were.

I pointed at the one with the flame on it. "I choose charmander."

He handed me the pokeball. "Be careful with him, he's quite energetic."

"Mind if I switch him into a different ball?" I asked Oak as I pulled out one of my own. The bottom half was black and the top half was a dark blue and it had a red star centered on the center button.

Oak looked over the ball, almost as if he was studying it. "I've never seen a ball like that before," he commented. "But I don't see why not." He motioned towards a trading device next to the wall.

I went over and started the procedure. "Well, I hope you haven't seen one of these before," I replied to his prior statement. "It's a prototype my parents are working on. They gave me a bunch of them for some field testing. They didn't even tell me what they expect it to do; just to report anything out of the ordinary." A beeping indicated that the transferral was complete. I picked up my pokeball, shrunk it, and attached it to my belt.

Oak walked over to me and handed me a red handheld device. It was small, had one white button in center, and a small black arrow pointing forwards at the top. "This is my new version of the Pokedex. Simply push the button and point the arrow at the pokemon. It will do the rest. The closest gym is in Pewter City, but I suggest going to Jonquil instead or else you would have a type disadvantage in the gym. Good luck."

"Thanks, Professor Oak," I said. "Is there somewhere around here to buy some food for me and charmander?"

Professor Oak instructed me where the grocery store was. I immediately went there and used my credit card to buy some food. My parents told me that I was only allowed to use it for food, and all my other expenses would have to be made with money I earned myself. It was a good deal if you ask me, especially considering how they gave me all the necessary traveling gear as a 'beginning my journey' present.

I took my first step onto the trail leading out of Pallet Town and thought to myself, My journey as a pokemon trainer had finally begun...
