#1 of Forgiving Mistakes

Before I start this story, I would like to point out that there won't be any yiffing in this 1st part but in future stories there will my M/F yiffing. And so, this story will be for adults only or just really horny pups who doesn't really give a shit about the Adults Only rule. Enjoy.

Love. Something that I swore off after me and possibly one of the greatest mates that I could ever hope for split up. It pained my heart and soul when we did and I felt like my heart had stopped beating and that I could never feel my hearts rhythm or warmth in my chest again. It wasn't until 4 months later, though, that my grieving would soon change.

"I know that your mother hurts you, Adam, but if you kill yourself then you will be leaving a lot more then just your mother," I said, looking into of an eyes of a male fox. Around me, was a snow leopard, a cat that had pink highlights in her fur and a plain black cat. All females. All screaming and begging at the fox not to kill himself.

The fox looked up at me with serious eyes at what I said, and then he let out a sigh of defeat. "Alright Dark.... I won't kill myself...."

All of the females gasped in relief as a small smile crept across my face, knowing that I've helped another soul again. It was all that I knew how to do in life, after all. Saving people and souls from making the wrong choice and life before it's too late.

"I need to go before my mom starts searching for me..." Adam said as he slowly backed away from me, "I'm not supposed to be out this late...."

"We understand, Adam," I said, "You can go."

Adam nodded then started to run off into the forest, disappearing into the darkness while the other 3 females surrounded me, all saying their 'thank you's' and 'you're the best Dark!'

Dark. That name doesn't really suit a wolf like me since my fur was as white as snow ever since I've dyed it. But back before I dyed my fur, the name did suit me. I used to be a black wolf with a blood red belly, neck, chin, under part of my tail, and front and back paws. There also used to be a distinct birth mark on my back in blood red fur that looked like angel wings. That gave me the name Dark Angel Wolf but everyone just calls me Dark.

The snow leopard suddenly hugged me tightly from the side; her eyes were still red and wet from so many tears.

"Thank you so much, Dark! I don't know what I would do if Adam killed himself! He's my first mate ever, after all!" she said, still crying a bit.

"It's alright, Lily," I said, wrapping one of my arms around her, "It's in my nature to care and help others."

There was a sudden breeze in the air and I looked up at the moon, noticing that it was already high in the sky.

"I better get going. It's late and I still have school tomorrow."

"Ok Dark," said the black and pink cat, "Are you going to sleep outside again or are you going to sleep at my house like I offered earlier?"

"I think I'll sleep outside again," I said as I started to walk off the forest, "Thanks for the offer though, Emily."

"Are you sure?" said the black cat, "It's pretty cold already"

"I'm sure, Amy," I said then I run off into the forest.

The forest was indeed cold that night, but I've had worse nights. Still, it would be nice to have someone warm next to me again, since just a simple pair of denim jeans and a shirt doesn't cut it. My parents died when I was just a pup but I've managed to live on my own quite well. I had many friends in this forest and many acted like a brother or sister to me. There were a few rare furries who got closer to me then that.

There was my first mate, Haz, who proved to me that I can be loved in this world but that's all he did. Nothing more. The second mate, however, treated me like I was the only one that mattered to him. Such a liar though. He cheated on me for another wolf.

The third mate, Roxas, was a lot different from the first 2. He taught me how to be more social and to take on any challenge that came in my way and try to fix it or make it better. He taught me how express my true self and I am very greatful that I had met him. He was the greatest mate I have ever had and yet.... We have somehow managed to drift away from each other.... Never to speak or even see each other ever again....

I kept walking, not wanting to stop really for it was getting colder now and I wanted to keep my body moving. Looks like I might have to sleep through science class again if I pulled off an all-nighter. Not like I haven't done before, though.

The air had a very crisp sent to it with a mixture of the many trees surrounding me. The forest was rather thick and there were dark clouds hovering over tonight but the moon still managed to light up the forest when the clouds weren't covering its beautiful glow.

The breeze picked up again and that is when my nose caught a whiff of a familiar rusting copper smell. Blood. Woven blood at that with a hint of something dark aura in the mixture. A demon wolf, possibly?

I was afraid to turn to where the smell was coming from, since I have never met a demon wolf before but the sent was very strong now. He was losing a lot of blood and my heart told me to turn around before it was too late. I am one who listens to my heart so I nodded slightly to myself and turned around.

A wolf with fur as black as the midnight sky and crimson red eyes and only a simple black pair of torn up pants stood right behind me, only a few feet away from me and hunched over in pain. His front paws were wrapped around his stomach as he tried to put pressure on a large gash on his stomach. Luckily it wasn't too deep but it was still causing a lot of pain and bleeding. There was cuts and scratches on his arms, legs, chest, back and face and it looked like his left leg might have been broken by the way he limped on it. He was panting very hard as he looked at me, his eyes looked like they were pleading. Only one word escaped his muzzle before he collapsed on the ground. "Help...."

The sight of him lying on the ground lifeless led me to believe that he might have been dead. But to my relief, his chest was still moving but barely. I ran over to him and picked him up carefully, cradling close to me as I ran off towards the East.

He let out a loud groan in pain when I picked him up, making some blood spill from his mouth when he did. It was a rather scary sight but I had to help him. I was the only one that could.

His body felt warm and rather comforting, besides the fact that his fur was covered in blood. looks like I can sleep with someone tonight if I could save him but I had to act fast.

While I was running, his head rest against my chest and his hands limped at his sides, making it a bit uncomfortable to carry him but still I managed. His eyes were closed the whole time I ran but I could tell he was still awake by the way he winced every now and then and how he ground when I moved him slightly.

I finally came to a stop at a small hut just near a lake. There were no lights on and there was only 1 window. It had a very strong sent of rusting metal and wood and the door looked like it was about to fall off its hinges. This is where I come sometimes during the winter and it also had some medical equipment inside. I sometimes volunteered at the hospital and in return they showed me how to take care a cuts and deep wounds and gave me some medical supplies for just in case emergencies.

The demon wolf slowly opened his eyes when he noticed we had stopped moving, looking up at me with thankful yet curious eyes now.

"Thank you..." he whispered then he turned his head slightly to look at the hut, "Why are we here...?" When he spoke, I noticed he had a very heavy Spanish accent.

"Well, since the nearest hospital is 20 miles away, I thought I should bring you here to take care of you myself. I know what I'm doing when it comes to wounds like you have there."

The wolf smiled slightly and nodded, wincing again at the pain before closing his eyes again. He stayed quiet for a long moment but he was still breathing so I only guessed that he fell asleep. He looked rather peaceful in his sleep, making me smile as I walked to the hut, being careful not to move him so that he can enjoy his well deserved rest.

The door slowly creaked open when I slightly kicked it, revealing a small bed and a drawer inside. A very strong musky smell came from god knows where as well as the smell of rotting wood and rusting metal. It wasn't the best sent in the world but it was still a place to live, none the less.

"My name is Arthas..." the wolf suddenly said. His voice caught me off guard and made me jump slightly but I didn't move him enough to make him wince.

"I'm Dark," I said as I looked down at him, smiling a bit. While I said that, I walked over to the bed and place him down slowly. He winced again and even whimpered but then he sighed in relief, almost like he hadn't slept on a bed in a long time.

"Nice to meet, Dark..." Arthas whispered again. Before I could say anything more, his body lowered a bit and he became less tense from pain. His breathing became slower and softer with a small murr escaping his muzzle, almost like he was snoring.

"Nice to meet you too, Arthas," I said as a small smile crept across my face. He looked so peaceful when he slept and didn't have the look of pain on his face anymore.

After looking at him for a moment, I turned over to the small drawer and opened it, revealing the medical supplies. I grabbed what I needed and turned back to him but then stopped where I was as my eyes widened a bit. In my chest, I felt something that I haven't felt in 4 months. A sudden skip of my heart beat and my chest felt like it tightened and was getting warmer.

My eyes quickly glanced over at Arthas and felt my heart started to race faster then I did.

"But... I just met him...."
