Request for a friend :3

The road was strangely calm; it was the first time there neither bandits nor creatures trying to maul him. It was a refreshing sight, one that he could enjoy during his travel. He had to admit that his presence in such a place wasn't always discreet; a tauren walking down the road wasn't something that could be seen every day.

Yuuril looked nearby; it was way too calm around, as if nobody wanted to use that road; perhaps a monstrous creature was coming this was, determined to rip him to shred. He would be able to face it, but what would the point of such an endeavor? It could be the target of another adventurer, and he would have to face some form of wrath, or he could break his weapon and had to bargain with the merchants, once again. He wasn't in the mood to do such things; all he wanted was to travel in peace, without anything on his mind.

He saw a strange figure in the distance; was a friend or a foe? It was a rather small being, one that didn't stood out of the environment. It could be anything; from a rogue to a mere merchant, he only hoped it wouldn't a nuisance that he had to deal with. Not that it would be hard to do such a thing; it was always fun to toss midget, and this wouldn't make much of a difference, unless it struggled too much.

It was the first time he was seeing a kobold; he always imagined them smaller and terrified of everything, but to see one walking bravely on the roads was a sight he never thought could be possible. Not that he hated such a thing, but didn't seem natural, as if the little creature was more powerful than he could imagine.

He waved to the little traveler, wondering if he was doing the right thing; maybe he should just continue his path, without caring about anything...

The kobold waved back to him and approached him; maybe it was a friendly fellow, one that could make his trip rather interesting. On the other hand, it was perhaps a peddler, trying to get rid of some useless junk...

``It is quite rare to see taurens wander on roads like that; is there some trouble brewing?'' asked the kobold, trying to look imposing.

``Not really; I was getting bored by the solitude, and I wanted to see the city. No quests, no bandit hunting or saving people for now; all I desire is a simple trip'' replied the tauren, wondering what was the goal of the kobold to travel.

``However, there is so much to see, to do; how can one be bored in these ages and day?'' asked the kobold, running on the patience of the tauren.

When one indulged a lot in battle, the spirit grows weary at the sight of the clashing of swords; there is a beauty in the boredom of the city'' replied the tauren, taking a pause before askingWhy are you traveling? Isn't it dangerous for someone as short as you to travel alone?''

The kobold seemed outraged that someone would mock his size, but it didn't say anything, not willing to show that the comment offended him.

``Magic can protect those who harness it'' replied the kobold, puzzling the tauren. He expected a sharper answer, not something as short and straight to the point as that...

``During my travel, I heard a lot of rumours, but there is one that I always wondered about; is it true that taurens moo?'' asked the kobold, a mocking glean in its eyes.

``No, taurens don't moo; I don't know where that rumor came from, but we don't moo; geez, every time it's the same thing... It's getting old'' said the tauren, annoyed by the obvious reference; he didn't want to talk about his private life...

``Are you sure about it?'' said the kobold, waving his paws around, whispering words that he couldn't understand.

``Yes, I am ca.. moo mo mooo moo'' replied the tauren, placing his paws in front of his snout, embarrassed. He could see the kobold giggle, laughing at his mischief; shaking a fist at him, he started running after him, shouting threats, only giving more Moos, while the kobold was laughing loudly, running to escape him...
