This is really just a list describing all the engines that I own in my steampunk series.

I am aware im experiancing problems with the return key on my DSI, for some reson it doesnt register i pressed it when writing the content. If this turns out as another block of text then i will be editing it when i next use the computer.

This is basically just me listing the engines that I own in my steampunk series. I would like to point out that whilst I say steampunk, my stories are actually based on the 1920s (a bit late for steampunk) however I do keep everything powered by steam. No. 1 Otterbear. Otterbear is a miniature traction engine (steam powered tractor). Unlike most traction engines she has different valve gear, she uses a form of Hackworth valve gear which is normally only found on narrow gauge trains. Otterbear first appears in the first part of my trilogy: Otterbear No. 2 Moorhen. Moorhen is a steam tram, very similar to Toby from Thomas the Tank Engine. Moorhen pulls a small carriage similar to Henrietta (again from Thomas) Moorhen first stars in part 2 of my trilogy: Gladstone and Moorhen. No. 3 Gladstone. Gladstone is a small 0-4-0 tram shunter. Gladstone is weird in that her water tank surrounds the boiler giving it a square shape. She also has an open cab, making driving in rain unpleasant. Gladstone first appears in the second part of my trilogy: Gladstone and Moorhen. No. 4 Lincoln. Lincoln, unlike all the other engines, doesn't travel. Making her a stationary engine. She was a factory engine and used to power a factory in Lincoln (hence her name) She now powers the machines in my workshop. She first appears in the final part of my trilogy (not yet finished) No. 5 Coot. Coot is the hardest to describe. You could say she resembles a coffee pot. She is based on an real engine called Coffee Pot. Coot is posibly my most "steampunk" engine as she is a victorian design. Her upright boiler makes her look strange compared to all my other engines which have the more conventional horizontal boilers. Coots drive sytem is geared down so she can pull heavy loads, however she cannot drive very fast.
