"(Sigh) I missed this." A contented Clover exclaimed as he relaxed on his bed for the first time in the week. "Oh Celestia, I could just lie here forever." No matter how much he wanted to, tiredness quickly overcame him and he fell into a long, deep and peaceful sleep.

Clover woke up eight hours later in his warm bed to the sight of Celestia's sun rising over the curvy landscape. "(Yawn) that felt soooo goooood." He said as he stretched all of the kinks out of his joints. He went down stairs to make himself some breakfast, another thing he had been missing to the point where he could now see his ribs more prominently than before.

After his small meal he went to the bathroom to prepare himself for the day that he had been excited and dreading, meeting Spikes friends and having them judge his worth. "Where did that thought come from?" he said to himself as he straightened his tie, as that was such a strange, dark thought to come from him. "Now, now. Don't worry yourself Clover, you're just stressed."

Even though it was still rather early he decided to go early and get this over with, it was awkward enough with Twilight and the already knew each other somewhat before that situation, but these were entirely new ponies to deal with. Still he carried on telling himself that, "It couldn't be that bad, their Spikes friends after all." This did calm him down a fair bit.

Doing what he did last time when he entered the library, he didn't find an empty room; he found seven shapes huddled round a table. Two of these he knew to be Twilight and Spike, however one white unicorn mare did look like a customer from last week. "Umm, hello. Is it okay to come in?" Clover asked as all eyes darted directly onto him.

"Oh, Clover you're early. Sure come on in." the princess welcomed him into her home, still all eyes continued to follow him, judging him. He felt well and truly uncomfortable. "Allow me to do the introductions" She stood and pointed towards Clover, "This is Clover, you already know me and Spike." Shen preceded to point towards the yellow, blue, orange, white and then the pink mare and said their names. "This is Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie."

That last name rang in his ears; Spike had called that pink over invasive pony the same name. "I remember you; you were that strange pony that talked to himself outside of town hall." Shouted the over excited pink pony. "Well this went off to a flying start now, didn't it?" Clover thought to himself. Another name also had been said to him before; a couple of times it was gossip from ponies in his store, spike telling him about his crush on 'Rarity`, and also when spike had confessed to him

"Pinkie!" Hissed the Rarity, "its rude to talk about ponies like that." She then turned her head towards Twilight and her whole domineer changed from irritated to calm and pleasant. "Twilight, where did you meet this nice stallion."

"Do you think I should tell them yet Clover?" Twilight asked, now this really got them all interested in who he was and how he was linked to their friend, all except Spike who looked quite nervous.

Seeing Spikes reaction, Clover said; "Do you mind if I get to know them a bit better before I tell them?" This was received with two nods from the alicorn and dragon. He sat down and retold the story that he told Twilight, and they told him theirs.

"Wait, yawl's cousin is Caramel, right" Clover responded with a confirming nod. "Would he have three horse shoes on his flank, by any chance? It's just that we've got' a worker that looks just like yawl, and he's as clumsy as an ox."

"Yeah, that's Caramel alright. I didn't know he worked on a farm, then again we haven't talked in years." Clover was slowly being eaten alive by guilt for not getting in contact with his brother. "Oh yes that's right, I was supposed to tell you my connection to these two." He gestured towards Spike and Twilight. "Well I've known Twilight for a few years, not really as friends but more on a business level as she would usually buy things like quills and parchment from me. But when she had too little time on her hooves she would send spike and we would talk for hours, and then get another not so pleasant earful from Twilight when he came back. However recently spike and I have got to know each other better and... I don't know how to say it."

"Were in love." Blurted out a Blushing Spike, to which was followed by Rarity spitting her tea to the other side of the room. It was obvious that she was displeased that her little 'Spiky Wikie' was no longer under her hoof. The four sets of eyes that used to be focused on him did not know where to look; he had heard that they had dealt with evil tyrants to demons, but this had completely stopped all thought processes. The only ones who were not acting like that were; a shocked Rarity, two scared bodies in the form of an earth pony and a dragon, and a very angry Princess Twilight Sparkle.

"Why are you doing this? You were all getting along great with Clover before, what's the problem?" Twilight addressed her friends.

"It's just a bit much to take in at once, dear." Said Rarity to which three ponies nodded, only leaving the orange earth pony, Apple Jack.

"So yawl don't have don't have a problem with them bein'... ya know?" asked Apple Jack

"There is nothing wrong with being gay!" Shouted Rainbow Dash. An argument broke out about who was wright and who was wrong. Before anything got too bad Twilight teleported herself, Spike and Clover upstairs and away from the fray before teleporting herself back down.
