#4 of Transformation

Learning to feed yourself when you've just turned into a dragon is hard enough, but putting on clothes that weren't meant for anthro dragons with wings so you can go outside and check the mail? That's a whole different ballgame.

Rated Adult despite its non-sexual nature for consistency with the rest of the story, which so far has been very sexual.

"Fuck!"

Inanna threw down the third shirt that she had ripped apart while trying to pull it over her upper body.

"This is just fantastic," she growled as she looked over at her favorite blue shirt, the only one she hadn't tried on yet. "There has to be something I can do to make that thing fit over me without ripping it to shreds."

She didn't dare try to don her favorite shirt now. As it was the only shirt left in her closet she didn't want to risk offending her neighbors by walking outside shirtless if she ever needed to leave the apartment. Being a gamer was usually an advantage, because she didn't have to leave that often. But sooner or later, she knew she would have to peek out of her lair and take out the trash, or check the mail, or walk to the grocery store... and in this human world, she needed to wear clothes, unfortunately.

"Stupid humans and their fucking paranoia about nudity," she mumbled, half laughing and half grumbling. "They need to open their eyes to facts: more clothes means more sexual arousal, not less. Sheesh."

But her complaints would fall on deaf ears and she would wind up in jail... if not in some cryptozoologist's collection of strange and bizarre animals. She shivered at the thought of being dissected by some overzealous human scientist, and turned her attention to her true form again.

"I wonder..."

She closed her eyes, and focused in her mind on an image of what her hands looked like when she still looked human. When she opened her eyes again, she looked at her hand. It hadn't changed. It was still the pure white dragon's hand with black fingernail-like claws. Shapeshifting was great to get her where she was, but it didn't help her much if she couldn't change back to a human so as not to scare the living shit out of her neighbors. The world was a stressful enough place without an anthropomorphic white dragon strutting about in the parking lot.

"Maybe..."

She walked back to the closet, pulled the blue shirt off the hanger, and set it on the side of the bed. Then, she walked over to the kitchen, where she kept her scissors, pulled them out of the sealed plastic box she kept them in, and started working on the shirt. She snipped only when necessary, taking great care with the durable material that the shirt was made up of. She cut out a couple of strips to accomodate her wings, and then she used the strips as a detachable connector to go underneath the wings. She worked for quite some time before she finally put down the scissors and prepared to put on the shirt.

"Moment of truth, I suppose. Once more into the breach, lads... or something along those lines."

With those words, she put the shirt over her chest and placed her arms in the short sleeves. Then she reached back behind herself and fastened the lower straps she had fashioned and closed the shirt... and lo and behold! There she stood, proudly wearing her favorite shirt. No rips, no tears, just a smexy dragoness wearing a big man's shirt. She was quite proud of herself.

"Now for my pants."

She went back over to the closet and picked out her jeans, and walked over to the bed to work on them.

"These shouldn't be as hard to do," she said. "There's only a tail to worry about getting in the way here."

Indeed, she was right. She made the proper cuts, slipped the jeans on, inserted her tail through the hole in the butt, and tightened her belt. She stepped into the bathroom, turned on the light, and looked in the mirror.

"Inanna, you are one sexy lady," she said with a smile as she placed her hands on her hips. "Now if only I could figure out a way to make the humans see a human face, not see my wings, not see my tail, not see my horns... ah, to hell with it."

She waved her hand at the mirror, turned around, and walked out of the bathroom.

"If they want to be terrified of me, let them," she said as she made her way over to her front door. "I'm probably going to regret this, but here goes."

She opened the door, walked out of her apartment, and made her way to the mailbox.
