I sincerely apologize for the formatting, I don't really know what happened.

A young red kangaroo woke up, his every muscle aching. His brown hair was ruffled in various directions. His tail curled up against him. His neck ached and whenever he tried to move it pain shot through. "I must have slept in a weird position" was all he could manage to think before he realized the massive headache he had. His throat felt parched and sore as he dragged himself out of his bed. He was naked.

He shambled into the bathroom. His fur stuck out every which way. His face felt like it was covered in evaporated sweat. He tripped into the shower and turned on the water with his big rear paw. Hot water blasted his chest "ahhhhh." A long relaxing sigh oozed out of his mouth. The warm water was perfect for his aching muscles and it helped him relax and think. "What happened last night?" he thought to himself as he rubbed his chest "Well whatever the hell I did last night it must have been a lot." The kangaroo climbed to his feet and began washing his fur. "Was I partying last night?" Hr brushed his hand through his fur "Ahh jeez my fur is sticky there." He inspected himself and sure enough there were a few sticky spots all over his fur. He brushed his fur extra hard there. "I don't remember there being a party." The kangaroo finished his shower without anymore thinking. He patted his short brown fur dry and stepped back into his room.

His room was an absolute mess, blankets and bedding were everywhere. The room smelled strongly of? "What is that smell?" The kangaroo pondered it for a second and no matter how hard he tried he couldn't put his paw on it. He hung suspended for a moment then his head started to hurt again. He stepped across the tornado wreckage to his dresser. Sweatpants and a blank gray shirt were pulled out of his dresser. His big brown tail swished around through a hole in the back of his pants, it acted confused, balancing him in the unfamiliar landscape.. He tripped over a plastic cube on the ground.

It was an alarm clock, slowly glowing a red light. He kicked over the light. It flashed softly: 9:20, "9:20; what day is it?" The Kangaroo looked around his room again, suddenly an image of a gray shape climbing out of a window flashed in his mind. "Is that my window?" The kangaroo checked his window, "Who was climbing out of my window?" He tried not to think about it too hard as he sauntered out of his room. The calendar on the hallway wall had Sunday marked off. "Crap it must be monday." The gears in his head turning "I... I have to get to school." The kangaroo dragged himself into the kitchen, his long tail swishing against the doorway frame. A sticky note was stuck to a cabinet. The Kangaroo read the note:

" Your father and I are going to be gone for two days. Take care of yourself Lucas, - Love Mom."

"Hmm mmm..." Lucas grunted like he didn't know why they were gone. He rolled his eyes. Lucas never had the most caring parents but they were better than nothing. Lucas pulled the key ring off the nail in the wall. He put it into his pocket. Lucas made himself a quick breakfast.

Lucas scoured the nearby rooms for his backpack. Surprisingly enough most of his stuff was already packed. He slung his backpack and went outside. It was a cool fall day, a nice October breeze blew through the neighborhood. Lucas climbed into his car and drove to school.

The outside of the school was dead silent. Lucas had to be at least 2 hours late. He walked inside the main office. An old droopy falcon sat clicking on a computer. Lucas tried to get her attention

"Hey!" The old falcon crooked her head up. "I'm late again and I don't have a pass." The falcon glared up at him. She then turned slowly to her left and picked up the phone. Her claw was faded in color and had a brittle grasp.

"Mr. Johnson." She squawked into the phone. "I have a student here to see you, he's late and doesn't have a pass." She nodded and then hung up the phone. "Mr. Johnson will see you in a few minutes." Lucas muttered a thanks as he sat down. He's been in this seat too many times, and this time he isn't even with his best friend. The door down the hall opened and a large black masculine bear stepped out of it, he spoke.

"Lucas, I'll see you now." He spoked with a rumble, a rumble that always sounded upset even when it wasn't. Lucas stepped into his room. "Where's your friend Lucas?" Lucas looked around the room. "Where is Tim anyways?" Lucas wondered to himself. Mr. Johnson answered his mind question "Your friend came in late 15 minutes ago, he didn't have a pass either." He let that sink in. "I can only assume you two were off fucking around." "Hmm..." Lucas wondered to himself, he always admired that Mr. Johnson wasn't afraid to swear, especially in front of people he has heard swear. "Look if I get a report of a rhino and a Kangaroo causing trouble this morning, you are in some serious shit." Mr. Johnson sighed deeply his black chest puffing in and out. "You've already gotton in trouble this year, let's have a good Junior year please." Lucas straightened his posture.

"Yes sir."

"Just get to class and don't be late again without a pass."

"Yes sir." Lucas got up and went to class. He hopped up the stairs to the second floor and hopped down the desolate hallway. "Ugh science." Lucas groaned to himself out loud as he walked through the hallowed hallway. He approached the room, 236, and knocked. A young adult, a gray wolf with round glasses answered.

"You're late Lucas." Lucas nodded

"Yea I am."

"Did you give your pass to the office?" Lucas sighed, this is going to be a long, stupid, and boring conversation. Lucas sighed again, deeply.

"I didn't have a pass" Lucas could notice a glimmer in the wolf's eye. "Go ahead ruin my day." he thought to himself.

"Well why didn't you have a pass?" The wolf asked with a hint of smugness. Lucas sucked in some air.

"Because my alarm clock broke and my parents are out of town." The wolf smiled, a glimmer of patronizing demeanor flashed even when he knew Lucas could beat him up.

"A flimsy excuse." The wolf hurried inside from the doorway into the classroom. "We will just have to see what Mr. Johnson says" The wolf smirked, Lucas groaned.

"I already talked to him." But the wolf was already dialing the phone and ignoring Lucas. Lucas took his seat next to a buff gator and a brown wolf. A white bunny who went by the name of Amanda waved across to him. She had long beautiful fluffy ears. She was hot, she wore a white tanktop and blue shorts. "She has nice breasts too." Lucas thought to himself. "I should ask her out in a few days." The smug wolf with glasses hung up, glared at Lucas, and went back to teaching. Lucas couldn't help but crack a smile at his enemy's agony. The gator to Lucas's left nudged him.

"You're late kangaroo." Lucas retorted,

"Shut up!" The lizard grinned acknowledging Lucas's anger and manipulating it.

"You don't have to be angry just because you can't tackle me." Lucas breathed heavily,

"Oh please, you're about as fast as a snail."

"You can't even hold a football for you your life." The gator sneered.

"Shut up! I would run you over!" Lucas hissed back.

"Enough both of you! I am trying to teach!" The wolf teacher scowled at them. "I am sick and tired of you two fighting in my class." Everyone in the class turned and faced Lucas, interested in the drama that was about to go down. People who were drifting off snapped back to get a piece of the drama. "Lucas, move 4 desks over." He demanded sternly. Lucas looked around.

"Why me?" The wolf glared at him.

"Because," he sighed, his voice rising with stress "You came in late." Lucas grumbled to himself as he got up and moved to the empty desk four desks to his left. The gator made sure to grin at his humiliation as he made his walk of shame. Everyone in class stared at him, even the fat beaver sitting in the back of the class grinned at Lucas's shame.

"Stupid beaver." He muttered to himself, "I could kick your ass so easily." No one heard him. Lucas didn't even try to look at the bunny, this was just too embarrassing. The rest of the class went along in dull slow agony. Lucas's big fluffy tail swished absent-mindedly around his desk leg as he tried to figure out what happened last night. He didn't pay attention in class, like usual, and didn't really feel like texting right now. Eventually the awful embarrassing class ended and Lucas left in a brown flash, puffy tail following. He made sure he didn't make eye contact with anyone as he left.

The hallway was extremely cramped, All sorts of colors, sizes, and types of animals walked by chatting to each other. A white owl passed Lucas as he stepped next to a frog.

"Hey Lucas, " The frog croaked deeply "did you ask out Amanda yet?" Lucas shrugged, trying to play his recent embarrassment off.

"I didn't think today was the right time you know?" The frog nodded, his deep voice and his height gain over Lucas used to be intimidating, until Lucas figured out he really wasn't too strong.

"You have to make sure you ask them at the right time. Don't want those bitches freaking out over you." A grey crane rolled her eyes at the frog when she heard him say 'bitches'.

"I know exactly what you mean Damien." The frog nodded some more, while Lucas straightened his posture. Lucas's mind suddenly snapped into realization.

"There was no party last night" he reminded himself, his memory returning. The frog turned to him confused.

"What did you say Lucas?" Lucas snapped out of his thought.

"Oh, nothing." Damien's smile turned into a worried frown.

"Are you okay Lucas?" Lucas looked up at him with slight distress on his face,

"Yea, I'm just really tired." Damien clearly didn't look convinced but he had to go his class anyway.

"Just try to keep your head straight okay? I'll see you later." Lucas muttered a sad 'see you.' as Damien entered his class.

"Great, just great!" Lucas's sad distant muzzle began to growl. "I justgot embarrassed in my science class and now Damien thinks I'm going crazy." "I just need to get through history and then it's lunch, lunch is good, and hey Tim is in history." Lucas smiled a little, "Yea history will be good." Lucas nodded to himself inside his head. "Mrs. Cullen, is really nice to." Lucas entered the next door on his left and stepped into his history class. Maps decorated the walls. Bookshelves filled up the remaining wall space, overflowing with history textbooks and other historical books. "Does anyone ever even use those books?" Lucas thought to himself, "Honestly I think they are purely decorative." Lucas's gaze shifted to the class itself, this class didn't have much different colors. Most everyone had either brown or gray fur and skin. One kid sat in the back of the class that stood out though. He was some sort of dragon. He has red skin with black markings on his arms, tail, and horns. He had small black frills coming out of his cheeks and pointy tilted back black horns. Lucas never talked to the guy. "I think his name is Gariyuu or something?" Lucas turned back towards where his friend, Tim sits.

The gray rhino was hunched down, the top of his big gray wrinkled head faced Lucas with his sharp big horn pointed at him. Lucas approached him. "Hey Tim." Lucas smiled, finally glad to see his friend. The rhino looked up at him, a distant cold look was in his eyes. He stared at Lucas, he just stared and stared without saying a word. It must have been 10 seconds but it was 20 minutes for Lucas. The gray rhino didn't seem to stare at him, but to stare into him. The rhino whimpered softly and then lowered his head down into his desk again. Lucas was only able to look back at him, stunned. "Are, are you okay?" The rhino whispered soft a whisper

"I am sorry." Lucas had no idea what to say so he just stood there like a fool for about 5 seconds. He turned to Mrs. Cullen. "Excuse me, Mrs Cullen," The white wolf turned to him.

"What is wrong Lucas?" She spoke softly and sweetly, Mrs. Cullen might have been in her mid-twenties but she was pretty hot and really nice.

"I'm worried about Tim." Lucas gestured to the distraught rhino.

"I'll go talk to him." Lucas watched as Mrs. Cullen hurried over to Tim and bent down. She whispered to him, and then they both got up and left the room. Half a minute later she came back, she had a worried look in her eyes but she still maintained her perky spirit. "Everyone take your seat." Lucas walked over to his desk and sat down.

"What just happened?" Lucas pondered, "The first five minutes of class don't really matter anyways so it's ok if I miss something." Lucas had noticed that Tim being escorted out of the room had drawn a lot of attention. "I am sorry?" "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Lucas's good mood was spoiled again. "This day is just getting worse and worse." Lucas dug around today's events. His mind doubled back to the window flashback. "Wasn't that weird shape leaving my window gray?" He put two and two together. "What was Tim doing in my house." Lucas was more confused then ever. "and why was he so distant, he looked like he just did something so horribly wrong." Lucas was more confused then ever. "Did he steal something from my house?" I'll have to check when I get home." Lucas couldn't believe Tim would steal something from him, but he had to check anyways. Mrs. Cullen interrupted his thought planning.

"Lucas, define peninsula." Lucas wracked his brain

"Does she really have to call on me when I'm clearly not paying attention?" Lucas checked his memory some more. "Ah ha!"

"A peninsula is a piece of land surrounded on three sides by water." Lucas grinned, "Nice save memory."

"Correct Lucas." Even a small victory like that helps brighten up your confusing, awkward day. History ended, it was uneventful for the next 40 minutes.

"Yes finally lunch." Lucas heard a voice behind him. He couldn't agree more. The lunchroom was bustling with chatting people. Lucas remembered the social groups, "You've got your flimsy science kids," He gestured to a group of skinny animals with glasses. "You've got your cute chicks." He looked to his left towards the group of girls. He might be having a bad day but lunch always made him feel better, he winked at them. "and here we are, the actually half decent guys." The table was surrounded by burly, loud, and crude males. Sure enough as Lucas approached, a big horse was making an innuendo. He sat next to a strong badger.

"Hey have you seen Tim around?" The badger turned to him.

"No, why?" Lucas tried to keep calm,

"Just curious."

"Whatever." The badger obviously didn't care, he could be nice but he wasn't really the caring type. Lucas switched over to worry again.

"What happened to Tim?" Lucas checked over the facts "He was out most of the morning, he was real messed up in history, and now he's not at lunch." Something was going on. "and I think he climbed out of my window last night?" Lucas swallowed "Not to mention that fact that my room was a mess, what was that all about?" This was one confusing day. Lucas refocused on the group of teenagers. A huge bulldog spoke above everyone else.

"Why do you think I play defensive lineman?" The crowd laughed "I mean look at this gut." More laughter came from the group. Lucas looked down at his lunch, a hunk of meat, plastic cup of water, mashed potatoes, and assorted grasses. It wasn't exactly appetizing, especially since Lucas was so worried. He ate the grass as much as he could and absent-mindedly listened to the rowdy teens. They talked about football, and laughed, and talked about girls, and laughed, and talked about music, and laughed. Lucas really didn't care for specifics right now. "What's after lunch?" He wondered to himself. "I think it's math." Lucas groaned to himself and no one heard him. Lunch ended and unfortunately for Lucas it was time for math class. While he walked through the hallways he searched for Tim. He saw a large gray shape at the end of the hallway. It was walking pretty slowly, Lucas could catch up to it if he hurried. Lucas picked up his pace greatly. He began dodging traffic, juking out of the way of an mouse and lunging forward. He was getting close to the gray shape when bam! Lucas slammed into something, big and brown. He looked up, it was Mr. Johnson.

"What the hell are you doing?" He roared at Lucas. Lucas looked up at him, clearly upset.

"Trying to get to class." The bear sighed.

"Why were you running so hard then?" Lucas swallowed and took a step back. "Lucas, you've been at this school for over two years, you should know you don't have to run to get to your next class. Mr. Johnson reprimanded him. I already told you, if I get a single report about you causing trouble today you are screwed!" Lucas couldn't tell how really angry he was but he seemed angry enough. Mr. Johnson moved out of the way. Lucas couldn't find any gray shapes,

"Dammit." He muttered to himself under his breath. He made sure Mr. Johnson didn't hear him. Lucas walked the rest of the way to math class, more frustrated then confused at this point. Math was boring. it always was. The badger he talked to at lunch was there but Lucas really didn't really feel like talking to him right now. Lucas thought about his next action to figuring out what happened to Tim "I need to talk to Cindy." Yes that was it. Lucas needed to talk to Cindy. Cindy was Tim's girlfriend, she should have some answers. Math class droned on some more. "You know," Lucas yawned "I could really use a nap." In about 5 minutes Lucas fell asleep to the sound of math problems being decrypted. He woke up to the sound of a bell ringing. As he came to his senses he realized it was the school bell ringing. As he shambled out of the class with the flow of students he was stopped by the teacher.

"I don't want to see you sleeping in my class again." Lucas nodded half-heartedly and then stepped into the hall.

"What class was next again?" Lucas asked himself. "Yes! I have gym now." Gym was always an easy and fun class. It was also fun to see all the stupid kids flail and flop around. Lucas hopped down the stairs towards the gym. He approached a white bulldog as he came close to the gym.

"Hey man." The bulldog gruffed at him.

"Hey." Lucas looked at the white dog.

"Hey Lucas, are you okay? You seemed really off at lunch." Lucas could see the concern in his eyes

"It's nothing really, I was just tired." The bulldog was convinced

"I totally understand what you mean." Lucas and the bulldog approached the men's locker room. Green lockers lined the room, seperate rows acted as partial dividers. Lucas went in his usual section of locker room territory and opened the lock on his locker. He pulled out his gym clothes. The bulldog was right next to him but he didn't care, no one ever really did. He took off his shirt. Brown fur covered his bare chest, his frontal abdominals bulging from his chest. He pulled his shirt over his bare chest covering up the muscles. Other muscular men did the same thing. Suddenly Tim's bare chest flashed into his mind. Lucas smiled a little and quivered for an instant He stood there smiling for a second before he snapped back to reality.

"Why the hell would I think of that?" Lucas stood confused. "Tim is in my gym class, I see him change all the time, and speaking of that where is Tim?" Lucas looked around, he spotted Tim entering a changing room. "Why is he changing in a changing room? He always changes with the guys over here. Lucas changed his pants and waited for Tim to come out. Tim must have taken 4 minutes because everyone was called out into the gym before Tim was finished changing. The class lined up for attendance. The gym teacher, a buff brown masculine wolf called out attendance.

"Amanda?"

"Here." The white bunny from science answered energetically.

"Maria?"

"Here." a black feathered hawk answered.

"Lucas?"

"Here." Lucas answered, looking at the entrance from the locker room for Tim.

"Please look at me when I call your name Lucas." Lucas turned around,

"Sorry."

"Damien?" The big frog answered,

"Here." Lucas heard footsteps behind him. A sulking rhino lined up at the end of the line

"Tim?" Silence. "Tim!" The bulky wolf glared at Tim.

"Here..." Tim spoke, noticeably heavy-heartedly. People learned over to look at him, his head was down. His horn pointed directly outward. The gym was especially silent, the normal quiet chatter

stopped. The teacher took a deep breath and continued,

"Jack?" A fat tortoise answered,

"Here." The gym teacher kept reading off the list but Lucas wasn't paying attention. Lucas was staring at Tim. Tim had such a hollow, distant, depressing look in his eyes. "What was wrong with him?" Lucas wondered. Lucas tried to scan his face the best he could. "What could he have stolen from me?" Lucas's train of thought was broken

"Today;" the wolf paused until everyone turned to him, "we are playing indoor hockey." The boys next to Lucas grinned. Tim showed no reaction. The hockey match was like usual, the strong guys fought, running over the fat and weak kids. A few girls got into the fray and they put up a good fight like usual. Tim did much worse than usual, once the ball was passed to him, he shuffled around, and then Damien stole it. Tim almost seemed to hide from the ball, to avoid participation. Lucas tried to approach him but they were on opposite sides of the gym.

The games ended, guys bragged about their goals and amazing shots they made while other kids murmured about other things. The boys walked into the locker room and began to change. Tim grabbed his clothes and went into the changing room again. Lucas changed watching the changing room. Tim didn't come out when the masculine wolf gym teacher told them they could go. Lucas walked into the hall, he had a study now. He could be late for his study, he just wanted to talk to Tim. Eventually after a minute Tim sulked out of the room. Tim glanced up quickly at Lucas and turned sharply in the opposite direction. He walked away from Lucas swiftly. Lucas began to follow him. A deep voice grumbled behind him.

"Go to class Lucas." Lucas turned to him, clearly upset.

"Please."

"I said go to class!" The teacher spoke angrily. Lucas grumbled and walked away. Lucas walked into his study. It was a last period study so some did homework, while others relaxed enjoying a casual last period. Lucas didn't feel like homework. He put his head on his desk and thought. "What was Tim doing, climbing out of my window?" The question bounced around in Lucas's head. "Was he stalking me? Did I catch him? No, Tim wasn't stalking me, that was out of the question." Someone dropped their binder behind Lucas. It crashed to the ground, Lucas didn't flinch. "Tim has been my best friend for years, why was he so... so, ashamed?" Ashamed was the best word Lucas could conjure right now.

Lucas pulled out his phone and began to text Cindy

"Where was Tim last night?" Within a few minutes Lucas got a response, "Oh Cindy, you're always ready to text. Lucas read Cindy's response

"I thought he went over to your house." Lucas's mind flashed back to Tim coming over at his house. Lucas wasn't sure whether to believe Cindy but he didn't have time to formulate hypotheses, the announcement speaker crackled to life, Lucas looked up.

"We have a few athletic announcements, first of all I would like to congratulate the girls volleyball team for winning 3-1 against Madison. Secondly, I would like to announce that football practice is cancelled for today. Lucas silently cheered, he enjoyed football practice but really wanted to get home to investigate. "Lastly basketball practice is meeting in the gym today at it's regular time." The speaker crackled again, signaling the end of the announcements. The football one stirred Lucas up. He wanted to smile at the news but he flashed back to the concern and worry for his friend.

Eventually the study ended and Lucas joined the rapids of students leaving the building. He didn't approach any of his friends, he just wanted to get home. He walked across the busy parking lot to his car. He started his car and joined the sluggish line of cars. He rubbed his big fluffy tail as he waited, his other paw patting out a beat on the steering wheel. Slowly one after another the cars funneled out of the parking lot. Lucas took a right and drove home. The drive felt a lot longer than it normally did out of pure curiosity to get home. Lucas eventually got home after a 15 minute drive that felt like 45 minutes

Lucas unlocked the door and stepped in. "Hey mom." Lucas called out but got no response. It took Lucas a moment for his mind to click "Duh, she's gone off with dad for two days remember? Whatever, what matters is finding out what happened last night." Lucas walked into his room and re-examined it. The bedding was all over the floor. Only one of the blankets was pulled up on the bed. It was like how Lucas described it before, like tornado wreckage. Lucas started to pull the bedding back on his bed. He felt a stickiness in some parts of the bedding as he fixed and adjusted it. "What is this stuff?" He wondered. "Guess I have to run this through the wash huh?" Lucas grabbed a huge handful of bedding and brought it to the laundry room. He stuffed the sheets in there and set the proper settings. Lucas walked over to his living room.

Lucas began the process of checking every room in his house to make sure anything wasn't stolen. It was a long process that slowly covered every room. Lucas was looking through his mom's room when he found a few of her 'secret' condoms missing. Lucas continued searching and finished with the bedroom. Lucas noticed some darker spots and his bed and he poked one with his paw. It was sticky, a similar stickiness to the bedding. He smelled it. He knew that smell and his mind flashed back to a muscular gray chest. A soft whisper escaped his mouth "no"

Lucas ran into his bathroom and knocked the trashcan over. "no no no no no." He mumbled to himself. "Fuck no fuck no fuck no." He dug through the tissues. There they were. Soaked pieces of plastic sat in the trash. A cold and distant 'no' parted from Lucas's snout as it hit him. All the evidence added up, used condoms, Tim's solemness, Tim being at Lucas's house last night and leaving through the window, and Lucas's weird moment of attraction from Tim's chest.

"I slept with my best friend." The words snuck out of his snout slowly and cautiously. They wanted to retreat back into his snout but were whispered out reluctantly. As Lucas faced the reality more and more events of last night flashed into his head. Lucas remembered Tim coming over, them playing a violent first person shooter. Then Tim tried to seduce him and, it worked... How could this happen? Why could this happen? Lucas crumpled to the floor and began to sob. This can't happen to him, it just can't.

Lucas sobbed on the bathroom floor for what seemed like hours. Time ticked by with no meaning. Lucas felt his world crumble around him. Thoughts drifted in and out of him each noticeably separated "I can't be gay, I'm not." He zoned out, stuck in his own mind "I'm not gay, I'm not gay," Lucas muttered this to himself for what felt like an hour. I can't be some fucking gay, I can't..." Lucas nearly cried himself to sleep.

He slowly got up and walked over to the bathroom sink. He took a long hard look at himself before slamming his fist down. He began to yell "I'M NOT GAY! I'M NOT GAY!" He stared himself in the mirror and snarled. "I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT!" he glared at himself "I AM NOT GAY!" Lucas snarled at himself for another good 10 minutes. He walked out of the bathroom got a drink of water and sat down. "I AM NOT GAY!" He announced as he sat down. "I AM NOT GAY!" Lucas got up walked over to his couch and began punching it. "I am not gay." He muttered to himself between every punch, "I am not gay. Look at this fucking gay couch, look at how not gay I am." He snarled again. "I am not a fucking gay!" Lucas walked over to the dining room counter and took a drink of water. "I can't be gay I got to second base once."

Lucas went with it "Yea it definitely, felt good to feel her warm breasts." He nodded to himself. "Oh how I would like to put my dick in her." He stared down at his crotch and kept thinking about naked women until he forced himself an erection. "See, I like women." Lucas continued to rub his crotch, I mean look at how turned on I am right now. I just want to fuck some chick!" Lucas sat on the dinner table. "Sure I get erections in the locker room but that's probably from changing," Lucas laughed unconvincingly to himself. "My dick is just ready to go, I am just too sexy." He laughed to himself again. "I mean maybe I guess Tim is pretty hot, but a straight guy can call another straight guy hot, that is totally fine. Girls, do it." Lucas talked to himself with quivering reassurance. "Hell I am not gay, the worst I could be is bi." Lucas nodded to himself, beginning to cry.

"Who am I kidding?" Lucas wondered to himself. "I'm fucking gay and there is nothing to do about it." Lucas slumped in his chair and began to cry again. "There goes my life, there goes my... everything." Lucas cried and cried against the table. A small puddle was formed and his entire snout was soaked with his tears. "Everybody look at this big fucking gay idiot." Lucas cried to himself. "And, Tim, fuck! What about Tim? He must be gay too. He must be going through the same thing I am." Lucas lifted his head up. "I can pretend I'm not gay, I can change this, but Tim and I need to talk about this." Lucas wiped his tears with his paws. "Finding out if I'm gay or not, which I'm not, is not the problem right now, The problem is that I need to talk to Tim." Lucas went over to his backpack and pulled out his phone. He texted Cindy:

"Cindy, do you know where Tim is?" Within 5 minutes Lucas received a response.

"He went to the park, wanted some alone time or something." The park? Tim never goes to the park. Lucas was more concerned than ever, knowing what exactly Tim has done. Lucas dashed down the sidewalk hopping as fast as he could. The run reminded him of football sprints and it was a pretty easy sprint to maintain, he was just extremely eager to talk to Tim. The sidewalk crunched under his massive feet, his face still damp with his tears. He saw Damien walking down the street but Damien caught him first.

"Hey Lucas." Lucas stopped running and shouted across the road

"Hey Damien, I am just going for a jog, what about you?" The bullfrog smilied

"Oh I'm just walking over to first my girlfriend." Lucas winced a little and tried not to show it. Damien saw it anyways. "What, you jealous Lucas?" Damien inquired tauntingly.

"Oh shut it you." Lucas tried to reply back as upbeat as he could. "Anyways I do have to continue my jog, good luck man." Damien nodded

"Alright see you later." Lucas immediately picked up his jog again, the word girlfriend still stung in his mouth.

The park was quite a serene place, A wolf mother pushed her cute little cub on of the swings on the playground while two other slightly older wolf cubs ran around by the slides. An ancient tortoise sat on a bench reading the newspaper, he must have been at least 100 years old and Lucas was slightly surprised he could still read. A sullen teenage rhino sat on another park bench. too deep in thought to notice what was happening around him. Lucas slowed down to a walking hopping pace and slowly hopped over to Tim. Lucas took a few deep breaths of the outside air and admired the pretty trees. "Breath, Lucas, breath." Lucas walked over to the bench. "It's okay, it's okay." Lucas took a sat next to the rhino, he didn't seem to notice. Lucas looked over Tim.

Tear stains ran down his cheeks, his head was down in a similar fashion as earlier today. Lucas cleared his throat.

"Tim." The rhino lifted his head up ever so slightly, recognizing the voice. "Tim I know what happened, we need to talk about this." The rhino looked at him dead in the eye. He had a wild and confused look, like an animal cornered and about to be killed. The rhino stared at him with deep regret and mourning. His eyes were swollen with tears and shame. He wore a grimace of pain and struggle.

"There is nothing to talk about." Lucas heard his rough voice loudly for the first time today, but it was laced with agony. Lucas snapped back without meaning to

"Tim, we really need to talk about this." The rhino got up slowly and turned his back to Lucas. "Tim please, we can't run from this." The rhino broke out in a light jog away from Lucas, tears streaming down his face. "Tim get back here!" Lucas ran after him. Tim picked up the pace but Lucas was faster. Lucas grabbed his arm.
