Happy Holidays are happening at Aeddan's house

Mistletoe

"Jamie what are you doing?" Frank bleated from behind Jamie.

"Hanging some mistletoe, what's it look like I'm doing?" Jamie replied, as she tied a bow around the freshly cut and hung mistletoe that was directly centered above a door way.

"But where did you get it? And how did you get it?" Frank bleated confused.

"Where does anyone get anything and how does anyone get anything" Jamie replied, confusing Frank further.

"Ok, I'll pretend I know what that means...dare I ask why you are hanging mistletoe?" Frank asked expecting another confusing answer.

"Because, the team is due back any minute with the tree and it will be hilarious to see how they will react with the mistletoe" Jamie said finishing the bow.

"Ah, well, how long until they get back?" Frank asked looking at his watch.

"They should be here with the tree in 3...2...1...go" Jamie said pointing at the door right when it opened.

"Wow, like clockwork" Frank said a little surprised at how well Jamie had planned this.

It was Christmas eve and the team had decided, rather than spend the night alone, they would get together and have a good time. So the day before Christmas eve, everyone started to arrive at Aeddan's house from all over. Marcus had come down from his mountain cave. Frank had come from the fields to the north. Melody had caught the first plane from New York with Steven who she had moved in with and were renting an apartment together. Sylvia had taken some time off from her research to come from Hawaii. Jamie had somehow moved in to a house just three miles from Aeddan's, so she just came over like neighbor. Johnny, even though he had a large plot of land and grand house, came out of not wanting to be lonely the entire year. Conner, the snow leopard, had come from wet and windy England. And, last but not least, Miia. She didn't have very far to come from. She was living with Aeddan in his house on the hill that overlooked the valley below.

The house itself, now covered in snow and icicles, was rather large for just Aeddan and Miia. Originally they had planned to get married and start a family. But could never seem to get around to it. So now they had enough room to house their entire old team. And old habits die hard, their kitchen was stocked with fresh and canned food.

"Ah, warmth. It's cold out there, Frank come help us with the tree" Marcus said hefting the big heavy end.

The tree they had decided to bring back, was huge and would just barely fit in the living/sitting room where the ceiling could almost be considered vaulted.

"Uh, yeah sure" Frank said as he scooted around under the mistletoe.

"Jamie, how are Miia and the other ladies doing with dinner?" Aeddan asked from the back of the tree shutting the large, iron bound, oak wood door with one of his feet.

"Oh she and Sylvia are fine...hey, isn't that mistletoe right there" Jamie said looking up at the mistletoe as Marcus and Frank walked under it together with the tree end.

"Wha-" was all Marcus could say before Frank jumped him, kissing him passionately.

"Wow, that's um, I had no idea Frank was that way" Conner said as he watched Marcus try to get Frank off him.

"I did, I kind of figured he was. Jamie, take that thing down" Aeddan said frowning a little at Jamie.

"Sure thing Aeddan, but first..." Jamie said pulling Aeddan under the mistletoe and kissing him soundly before jumping up and grabbing the mistletoe then walk away with a little hip sway...

Happy Holidays everyone. I would have whipped up something better, but I felt that this time of year is a time of innocent romance and not anything heavily dirty. Just hope you liked this cute little holiday short. Remember, mistletoe is dangerous, love your significant other twice as much at this time of year, keep reading my main story, and keep those paws moving. Ciao and happy holidays from the cast of the Tragic Story of Aeddan Smith: Subject 5.
