Kiba groaned in pain, his ribs felt like they were on fire, more than likely he had broken a couple of them when he hit the tree. Breathing was proving difficult and painful, not helped by the smoke that hung in the air making him cough and splutter. His vision was blurred, a slow stream of blood rolled down the side of his face from a nasty cut on his temple, Kiba knew he probably had a concussion.
"Akamaru!" Kiba whimpered, the attempt at speaking causing a coughing fit which only made his ribs hurt more, but Kiba needed to find out what had happened to his partner. "Aka-(Coughs)-maru!" A pained whine to his left floated to his ears and he turned to look in that direction. His vision still impaired he squinted, desperate to locate his companion. Kiba saw a white blob moving and began to crawl towards it. "Akamaru!" Another whine came from the direction of the white blob and Kiba knew that it was him, the white blob began moving closer towards him as well. Another set of explosions nearby showered them with earth but they didn't care, they needed to make sure that the other one was all right. After what seemed like an eternity they finally reached each other. Kiba cried and hugged the wolf-hound and Akamaru licked Kiba's face. Akamaru's fur was red with blood where he had suffered cuts and was limping badly, he was holding his right front paw off the ground. More explosions, these ones further away.
"I'm sorry boy!" Kiba cried into Akamaru's fur, the wolf-hound whimpering in response. "I really screwed up, I thought we could take him... but he's too strong!" Akamaru whimpered but then growled at Kiba. "I shouldn't give up? Look at us!" Akamaru bit Kiba's arm. "OWW! What the hell!?" Akamaru barked and growled. "I must be a pretty rubbish master if you're willing to bite me... all right... if we're going to die, we'll go down fighting!" Akamaru wagged his tail and barked happily. "We'll only get one more attempt in, if this doesn't work..." Kiba left the rest of his statement hang, they both knew what would happen if it didn't work. Kiba reached into his pouch, he was nearly out of supplies, he only had a few smoke bombs and some energy pills left. He gave some energy pills to Akamaru and then ate some himself. "Lets do this!"******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
Inner Demons - Part 7
Karabe continued to litter the forest with grenades, the landscape was scarred from the huge number of explosives he had fired into it, several small fires began to spread through the area. He couldn't tell if had killed Kiba or not but he was having too much fun to stop. Suddenly a cloud of purple smoke erupted in front of him front of him, filling the area between him and the tree line blocking his line of sight.
"Wolf Fang Over Fang!" A single spinning mass burst from the smoke. Karabe smirked and focused his chakra into the barrier emitters.
The spinning mass struck the barrier, forcing the barrier to bend and buckle, Karabe knew immediately that this attack was a lot stronger than the previous one. The barrier was not repelling them like before, this time they were forcing the barrier to buckle, if this continued then the barrier would fail and he would be struck by the spinning mass. Focusing all of his chakra into the barrier Karabe snarled in effort. The spinning mass not stopping and Karabe knew it was too late, the barrier fell as it was ripped apart and the spinning mass struck him, ripping into his wooden frame destroying the two left legs and the gas arm, the three limbs literally turned to splinters as the spinning mass ripped through him and came skidding to a halt behind him. With his support gone Karabe couldn't stop as his giant puppet toppled, crashing into the forest floor. Karabe looked in the direction of a giant two headed white wolf, the wolf had narrowly missed him, a few more inches to the left and it would have shredded his real body along with his puppet body. Karabe climbed out of the wreckage and glared at the giant wolf.
"I guess you had trick up your sleeve as well!"
"Surrender Karabe!" Kiba's voice echoed from the giant wolf.
"Like fuck I will! You may have beaten me, but you don't have a flying fucks chance in hell of beating Zaraki!" With that said Karabe took off in the direction of the castle.
"Get back here!" Kiba roared and began to chase him in his wolf form.

'No! I can't give up!' Sasuke declared silently, the crushing weight of the water surrounding him bearing down on him as he sank deeper into the lakes depths. Sasuke knew his only chance was use his curse mark, the curse mark Orochimaru had used to draw Sasuke to him in his quest for power, the power he had used to defeat Naruto at the Valley of the End. Since then Sasuke had hated it's power, but this time he was going to use it's power to save Naruto! Sasuke felt the curse mark activate, it's power surged through his body, his hair growing longer and his flak jacket tightening until it burst as giant hand like wings burst from his back; the shredded remnants of his flak jacket and shirt floated away. Surging with strength Sasuke swam for the surface.
Kisame stood atop the giant water dragons head with a victorious grin, scanning the waters surface for any sign of Sasuke. Kisame was impressed how much of a fight he had put up, almost feeling remorse for the loss of such an opponent, but once again he had been victorious. A splash caught his attention, out of place amongst the surging waters, his head snapped round to see a figure erupt from the waters surface. Kisame's breath hitched, what was that beast? Its long dark ragged hair weighed down by the water, two large hand like limbs erupting from it's back. What had been awoken from the depths of the lake?
The beast looked up at him and Kisame knew then what this beast was, those glowing blood red eyes were unmistakable, just like before he felt uneasy as the glared at him. Kisame knew that there was no genjutsu involved this time, this time it was pure killing intent.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU!" Kisame yelled nervously.
"What am I?" Sasuke repeated with a hint of amusement. "I am the Demon of Vengance!" He roared, forming several hand signs before pointing his left hand down and grabbing his wrist with his right hand, he focused his chakra into his hand. An ear piercing shriek rang out across the lake as lightning erupting from Sasuke's hand. "Chidori Current!" Slamming his hand into the lake he channelled the lightning towards the giant water dragon and smiled in satisfaction as his attack surged through the beast making it writhe and roar in pain. The beast momentarily stunned Sasuke drew his sword and sprinted forwards. It didn't take long for Sasuke's attack to wear off and immediately Kisame ordered the dragon on the attack.
"Water Pulse Jutsu!" The dragon began to fire out blast after blast of water, Sasuke nimbly dodging each one and continuing to charge forwards as towers of water erupted around him. Sasuke leapt upwards, sword drawn back to strike as he flew toward Kisame, the mans face contorted in shock and fear. Before he could land his blow the dragon fired one last blast of water which struck Sasuke dead on. Kisame's face lit up in a smile for a moment before he watched Sasuke fade away.
"A clone!?" He spat in disbelief as he heard another ear piercing shriek ring out to his right, turning to face it saw Sasuke hurtling through the air towards him, chidori in hand.
Kisame leapt from the dragons head moments before Sasuke's attack struck, Sasuke sliced downwards severing the dragons head, in that moment the storm and surging whirlpools dissipated; the lake waters immediately calming. The Water Dragons body melted away now unable to keep it's form. Sasuke and Kisame stared each other down, Kisame's face one of frustration and exhaustion, his chakra all but gone.
"You're a fucking freak!" Kisame spat, his breathing heavy and laboured. Sasuke responded by drawing his sword and pointing it at Kisame. "Come on then!" Kisame launched himself forwards and Sasuke responded in kind, their swords rang out across the now calm waters of the lake as they clashed. Kisame staggered backwards, dropping his swords, the swords disappeared beneath the waters surface as he clutched at the bloody wound in his chest. Sasuke had stabbed him through the chest, Kisame had managed to deflect his attack enough to prevent it from being fatal, but he was no longer able to fight the grey skinned demon. Kisame looked up in fear into the red eyes of Sasuke's sharingan, the Demon of Vengence as it had named itself.
"It's over Kisame" Sasuke declared as he pointed his bloodied blade at the silver haired ninja. Kisame scowled, he couldn't argue that fact, unable to allow himself to submit he spat at Sasuke; defiant to the end. "Now, tell me where Naruto, Tsunami and Inari are."
"They're at the castle!" Kisame grunted. "Being used like the whores they are!"
"What!?" Sasuke growled.
"Zaraki's probably using your friend as a warm place to shove his cock right now!" Kisame smirked, amused at the pure rage displayed in Sasuke's eyes. Using Sasuke's momentary distraction Kisame reached into the pouch attached to his belt and pulled out a smoke bomb blinding Sasuke in the thick smoke as he made his escape. Once Sasuke realised what had happened he began to pursue Kisame back into the forest.
