Chapter three: New Arm and New Feelings
Waffels POV:I was on Hatters back as he ran through the village with huge ants everywhere. When we where almost to the people on one of the houses an ant bit Hatter. I yelped and barried my face into Hatters back afraid to see the blood if there was any. As we stopped, I looked at his arm to see it oozing pus and blood making my face pale. I whimper and look up at him seeing little pain on his face. How can he bare it?!"Hatter are you ok?" He looked at his arm then me with a weak smile that was supposed to be reassuring. "Yes little one. Im fine just a little bit." I seen more ooze poor out and I whimper feeling sick as he covered it with some of his coat. He looked kinda pale."Im sorry that you seen that. Are you okay little one?" I nodded and smiled."Yep" Hatter started to talk with some of the people on the roof when Kamen came back. I didn't feel happy he was back I felt enraged. I stood up and glare at him making him look confused. I smiled sweetly before pushing him off the roof and waves."Bye-Bye." He caught the legd of the roof and swung back up pouting."That wasn't very nice. . . . ." Spirit, which I forgotten was still here because he was so quiet, sighed and looked at Kamen looking scary. (NINJA ASSASSIN GO!) Kamen flinched."Well you did leave us all just to go get la-" after looks at him and he becomes quiet. Im confused. . . .Why did he leave just for La-La land?! I growl lowly at him."You deserved it!" He looks at me with a bored expression."Your lucky I want money or you will be dead in a second." I growl lower not listening to what Hatter said. I felt my body start to change and grow fur everywhere and my eyesight gotten sharper. I was now taller then Kamen and the others growling lower."Leave me alone kit." I relised I was in my Huge Tiger form by the looks of the towns peoples faces. Hatter sighed and rubbed behind my ears making me immediately turn back and lean into his pets purring. Spirit looked like he just face palmed and Kamen blinked a couple times."Really? Cats are weak to lose to-" He was cut off by Spirit petting him. making him purr and blush. "Never mind. . . . ."Hatter told Kamen something about his arm starting to decay and I whimper but say nothing. Hatter taught me never to inturupt in people conversations. . . .Its rude! And when I did I wouldn't get candy or chocolate. . . .Hatter sits down next to me and starts to breath heavily worrying me very much."Hatter? Are you ok?" He nods paling and looks back at a man that seemed to do exercise a lot."You say you can make me a new arm?" I tense and whimper. New arm? Does that mean his arm will be gone? I don't want Hatters arm gone. . . The man nods and says something only at his shop. Hatter picks me up with his good arm and holds me close to his chest. I felt my face heat up and Kamen mumble under his breath about love er something. Spirit picks up the
man and we up jump across the roofs till we reached a black smith looking place and quickly went inside.The man ,Bob, (don't judge me!) gotten out different looking metal arms as Hatter took off his shirt. Me and Kamen stared at his scared yet muscaler body blushing. hatter laughs and holds his wounded arm with his other arm."Am I that handsome?" Me and Kamen blushed more and look away. Kamen mumbles more and I just look around. I felt pain wash through me and I slump against the wall sliding down it panting. I look away as Bob took Hatters rotting arm off with bar cutters making him cringe and yelp in pain. He picks up the metal arm Hatter picked out and started messing with some stuff before grabbing an wrench and pulls it binding it to the rest of Hatters arm making him yelp again. I whimper and look up as hatter stands up and Kamen looks worried."You ok?" Hatter nods and grads his under coat that wasn't torn up."Yea, just feels weird." He starts to put it on and Kamen walks over still looking worried. "Here let me help you with that." He gets the under coat on hatter as he looks at his body grinning. Some reason I growled at that. I turned red and looked down at my feet befor feeling pain wash through me again making me whimper quietly."ow ow ow. . . . ." Hatter walks over and picks me up looking at Kamen."Lets go." He nods and we start walk out and I grip my side tightly crying into hatters back.He jumps over an hole with quiet a few dead ants burning in it and I yelp loudly crying. He looks back at me very worried."Did I hurt you little one?" I was about to say no when Kamen pointed at my side I was holding."I think shes hurt Hatter." He tense and puts me down and crouch down to the level I was at sitting down."Did you get bit?""n-n-no. . . ." He starts to whimper so I only hear and pulls out some candy."If you tell us I will give you candy little one." I shake my head but almost instantly falling onto my side holding it tighter crying. hatter pries my hand off my side making me yelp loudly and whimper. He gasps and looks around as Spirit come back on his huge wolf, covered in blood. "Hatter whats wrong? Why is Waffels crying?" Hatter picks me up panicking more."We need a doctor!" Kamen shrugs and folds his arms over his chest."I bet I can handle it" Spirit get off his huge black wolf and walks over to Kamen growling lowly."She is a little girl Kamen! Your a trained fighter! Of coarse you can handle it dumb ass!" I flinch at his harsh words. I look up at Hatter from his arms."I-I dont. . . . .need a d-d-doctor. . . . ." He looks down at me and frowns."Yes you do." I pant and breath hard as my vision blurs a little and my lungs seem not to work."I-I do n-not. . .""Yes you do or do you want me to bite the life sucker off?" I tense up and slowly shake my head. The last time he bit something
off me it hurt badly. He seen a medic and I start to shake and breath harder as the pain becomes over whelming. He rushes to a doctor and tells him whats happening. I hear Kamen and Spirit argue more before everything goes black. I see nothing so I sit in my dark corner of my mind and wait till I felt searing pain go through my side down to my feet making me howl and fall over. I lay there shaking and I herd Hatters worried voice float through into my mind. I am waking up! at last no more darkness.I wait a bit longer befog jolting up and falling back over holding my side in pain."ooowww. . . . ." I hear a sigh and a groan. I felt my forehead start to hurt and I slowly look up to see Spirit on the ground holding his head and Kamen gone with Hatter siting next to me. It was kinda dark in the room and I was in the only bed. . . . .I look around ignoring the pain in my head and Spirit sits up holding his head and whining. "Owww!" I giggle and look at Hatter who looked tired."Where are we?" He looks up from Spirit, who is whining about him having a horn on his head in the morning, and smiles sleepily."We are at one of the Inns at the village. You go back to sleep and rest." I lay down as he smiles and lays down next to me making me blush slightly and snuggle holding me."Awwwwww!!! Love is at its fin-" Hatter throughs a boot at Spirits head making him fall over and I blush more as he laughs."Good night little one." I purr quietly and snuggle into his chest."Good night Hatter. . . ." I fall asleep.
