Uh-oh, seems Jamie has taken interest in Aeddan, a big interest. Wonder what happens between the two of them. Read the chapter to find out.

CH 7

Counseling and Monsters

"And in minutes, you have a meal that will keep you going for the rest of the day" Aeddan said handing off the now cooked MRE to Melody.

"Bleh! It tastes so bland though" Melody said with slight disgust after she took a bite of MRE.

"I know, after all these years you would think they would have improved on the taste" Aeddan said pulling out another MRE from the bag, "everyone do it just like I showed you and we will start moving again in about an hour".

"Oh yea'? And how can you tell when it's been an 'our?" the snow leopard asked starting to cook his MRE.

"With this, it has a clock, stop watch, and count down timer" Aeddan said holding up his wrist which had the IWMD.

"So what time is it now?" Jamie said pressing up against behind Aeddan.

Her breasts were soft on his back. They felt like firm, goose down pillows. Aeddan could feel her slightly firm nipples through the bra she wore. It was a memorable experience for Aeddan to say the least since this was the first. Aeddan felt something grow slightly in his boxers.

"It's uh, supposedly three, uh three pm right, right now" Aeddan stuttered as he looked at the IWMD and starting to feel really embarrassed as he tried to hide his hard on.

"Hey, you ok there Aeddan? You didn't pull anything did you?" Jamie said, her breasts rubbing against Aeddan's back making his hard on grow.

"No, no I'm fine. I didn't pull anything" Aeddan said hunching over in that classic way a boy does when he gets his first boner.

"So it hurts down low? Does it hurt here? How about here? What about here..." Jamie said, astonishment flashing across her face as she felt Aeddan's boner whilst checking him.

The astonishment lasted only a few seconds. It was then replaced by what one could call a "sluty smile" and a knowing look. Her paw lingered on Aeddan's hard member for a moment as she gave it a brief stroke through his boxers before she whispered in his ear: "come see me in a while".

After Desert Team had eaten their MREs Aeddan gave the general order to rest. Everyone drew straws for watch duty, and somehow Aeddan got stuck with it again. Along with Jamie...

"So, do you have any more...pulled muscles?" Jamie said, pressing up against Aeddan as she gently stroked his limp member.

"No, no, uh not, not uh um" Aeddan stuttered as his member started to grow hard again, this time from Jamie's stroking.

"Seems you do have a little bit of a pulled muscle, right here..." Jamie said, wrapping her paw around Aeddan's continually hardening member and pushing him up against a large boulder out of sight from the others.

"I uh, I uh oh, oh, oooh, ahhh" Aeddan began to stutter then moan quietly as Jamie slowly and gently stroked his now hard, throbbing member.

"I'll just work out this...tense muscle shall I?" Jamie asked crouching down to pull off Aeddan's boxers to reveal a ten inch long, throbbing wolf member.

"I guess... it is a little.... tense" Aeddan said breathing heavily, his face starting to turn red visibly.

"Told you, always listen to your doctor" Jamie said before she began to lick Aeddan's tip.

It was an incredible for Aeddan. It was the first sexual act he had ever experienced, and he was loving every minute of it. Jamie began to roll her tongue around his head as she slowly began to rub his shaft again, making Aeddan moan yet again.

"I could get addicted to this feeling. I'm starting to understand what Carol meant" Aeddan thought as Jamie began to suck lightly while still rolling her tongue and stroking his shaft.

Soon Jamie was slowly moving her head in and out over Aeddan's hard throbbing member, sucking on it a little harder as she progressed along. She had stopped stroking Aeddan's shaft and was now massaging his sack. It was almost hypnotizing for Aeddan the way her mouth worked over his hard shaft. Jamie's rhythmic sucking was only interrupted sometimes when she moved back down his shaft to the tip to lick it. Every time she did that, Aeddan shivered a little from the pleasure.

"Jamie, Jamie it feels like something is going to come out. It doesn't feel like urine but something else" Aeddan panted, his breath turning to steam in the now rain chilled air.

"It's ok, just let it out Aeddan. Just let it out, don't try to hold it back, that's how problems start happening" Jamie said beginning to stroke his shaft again. As Jamie stroked Aeddan's throbbing member, he felt it start in his loins then work its way in to his member.

"Jamie, it's coming. Guh, Jamie it's going to come out!" Aeddan said trying to warn Jamie.

Jamie stayed crouched there, stroking Aeddan's member until...

*Splurt, splurt, splurt...splurt...splurt*

Aeddan came all over Jamie. Her face, her ears, her breasts, her paws, and in her mouth. Jamie had a satisfied smile on her muzzle as she licked her chops. She licked her paws and, what she could reach of her breasts, clean.

"That was a lot Aeddan. No wonder you pulled a muscle , you've been backed up this whole time" Jamie said, then noticing Aeddan's semen covered member she asked with an arched eyebrow "you want me to clean that for you?"

"I-I-I uh, don't know. Whatever you feel is best?" Aeddan said now unsure of what to do.

"I'll clean that for you and then you can wash me in the run off river over there" Jamie said taking charge and pointing out into the rain before she began to suck on Aeddan's member again making him start to moan once again.

"So, what was, why did you..." Aeddan started trying to ask.

"You looked tense and uncomfortable and it was obvious you had never had any real contact with another female close to your species. I thought I should correct that" Jamie said shaking herself mostly dry in the mouth of the deep alcove the team was currently camped in.

"But why me, why not Marcus or one of the other males here?" Aeddan asked shaking himself off the same way before finding his boxers and putting them back on.

"Well for one thing, none of them really had the balls to lead this team" Jamie answered back truthfully.

"But this job was kind of thrust upon me. I didn't really agree to it. I mean Marcus would be a much better leader. Hell, even you would be a much better leader than I am" Aeddan said tapping a button on his IWMD.

"And this where I give you the other half of my consoling" Jamie said laying her paws on either side of Aeddan's shoulders and giving him the a 'deadly serious' look.

"Wait what?"

"You heard me. Aeddan, so far you have been the one to help this team overcome the obstacles set before it. You have the knowledge, the ability to apply the knowledge to our problems and obstacles we face. AND, you have kept a cool head on more than one occasion where most of us, if not all of us, would have panicked or become enraged. So stop selling yourself short, can you do that for me? And if not for me then the team" Jamie finished, gesturing towards the team members sprawled out and snoring on the ground.

"But-" Aeddan started to say before Jamie kissed him quikely.

"Aeddan, please? For the team?" Jamie asked with a pleading look in her eyes.

"Well...I guess I can at least try right?" Aeddan said looking away and out at the rain, as he started to blush again.

"Good, now isn't it about time we got going again? You think our clothes are dry enough yet?" Jamie asked, returning to her perky self.

"Yeah actually, I think I let them sleep longer than I meant to" Aeddan answered looking at the time displayed on his wrist.

"I'll go make like you just woke me up, alright?" Jamie said giving Aeddan's chin a quick little familiar stroke. The kind of stroke that a lover usually reserved for another to tease them a little.

"Marcus? Hey Marcus, time to get up" Aeddan said shaking Marcus a little to try to help rouse him from his nap.

"Mmmmm, nur noch fünf minuten mutti. Ich weiß heute nicht schule" Marcus replied in his native German tongue.

"And as much as I would love to, I can't. Now get up, I need my vice leader right now." Aeddan replied, understanding most of what Marcus said and giving him a light kick in the butt.

"OW! Hey, that hurt mom...oh, guten morgen Aeddan. I ah, you didn't hear me say anything right?" Marcus asked apprehensively.

"Depends, you want to mistake me for your mother again? Or do you want to help me wake the rest of them?" Aeddan said arching an eyebrow in a way that spoke on its own.

"Uuuhhhh, I think I'll go wake the team...please don't tell any of them" Marcus said moving to wake Desert team.

Soon Marcus had Desert team awake and ready to go. The team's clothes had dried significantly and luckily, the rain had also stopped. The sight that met the team was rather beautiful. The rain had left drops of water on leaves and vines in a way that made it look like the jungle sparkled in the setting of the artificial sun.

"Wow, who ever came up with these biomes really got the details down just right" Aeddan thought as he looked on, captivated by the beauty of it all.

"Where to next leader?" Jamie asked hinting to what they had discussed earlier.

"Well, let's see. There should be am easily accessible ridge on the edge of a clearing with a cave set atop it. We can set up there tonight, and we should also be able to see the rest of the biome from the ridge top" Aeddan said checking the map function on the IWMD.

"And how far is that from here?" Frank the ram asked as he trimmed his hoof like hands with the combat knife he had been given at the beginning of the jungle trek.

"It's right over that hill there. I wanted us to keep going until we reached our new base camp but you were all tired, so I just thought..." Aeddan said with a shrug as he gestured at the hill to the right of the alcove.

"Alright team, are we ready to move?" Marcus asked the group.

"What do you think scaly? We're all standing here waiting to go" Steven answered irately, his accent coming through heavily like he just came from the hood.

"That's 'sir', 'yes sir' or something just as respectful" Jamie said smacking Steven lightly in the back of the head with her paw playfully.

"She's right you know" the shark man hissed through its reverse respirator.

"Who are you anyways?" Steven asked turning to the shark man.

"My name in Sylvia" the shark man hissed crossing it's arms frowning.

"Sylvia!? Your name is Sylvia? That's a really girly name" Steven said with a laugh.

"That's because I'm a female you ass-hole" Sylvia hissed.

"Uh...and I think it fits you perfectly...it's very uh, shark, like? I'll just be quiet now." Steven said looking down in embarrassment.

"If you two are done, I would like us to get going. The light won't last much longer and I want base camp set up by night fall" Aeddan said trying to hide a smile.

It had been a while since Aeddan had found anything seriously funny in a while. Ever since he was dropped at the public orphanage, he rarely found anything to smile about any more. But with them...

"Alright, you heard him, we can sleep longer in a bit. Let's take that ridge and cave" Marcus said cocking his tommy gun with a loud *click-chack*.

The hill they had to climb first was rather steep and unsteady from all the rain, making the ground muddy and slick. This made climbing it almost as difficult as the steep, rocky hill sides they had just clambered over only hours before. Almost, being the operative word. Desert team employed their climbing tactic they had used before on the other hills. Soon the team had made it to the top without incident. But the sight that met their eyes stopped them dead in their tracks.

Aeddan and the rest of Desert team had reached the top of the hill, which turned out to be more of an embankment, expecting to find a lush, green meadow. A meadow filled with wild jungle flowers and a small fresh water spring tumbling down from the ridge above in to a crystal clear pool at the base. An Eden of sorts that could be easily defended from attack with only a couple guns and a few well-placed traps. Aeddan had read up on how to make natural traps using nothing but the materials around you and a knife. Aeddan had planned for the meadow and ridge to become a semi-permanent base camp for Desert team.

Someone had had the same idea. Only, they had failed to defend the meadow. There were walls made from small trees set in the ground that covered the north, south, and west sides of the meadow. Where the west wall stood, there had been a gate with a tower, now there was a huge hole like something had forced it's way inside the compound and the tower had collapsed.

As Desert team moved closer, the smell of smoke and something dead filled the air. The closer Desert team went to the compound, the stronger the smell of smoke and death was. Soon they were just inside the compound and the smell was at its strongest. It made Aeddan's eyes water it was so intense, and many of the other team members as well. As Desert team continued to move towards the ridge, Aeddan tripped on something soft making him land face first in to the soft, muddy ground. When Aeddan looked up, he was met with something that would terrorize him in his dreams for years to come.

Aeddan had come face to face with a mutilated corpse. And not just any corpse, but a wolf corpse. A corpse that had the same color of fur he had. Aeddan then heard a scream, the kind you hear in campy horror movies, to his left which making him look to see who it was.

It was Melody the skunk who had screamed. She had just come across a corpse herself. As Aeddan got up, he noticed other bodies strewn across the meadow, dead ones. They looked like they had been torn apart by something with big claws and teeth. He then began to notice blackened spots and pits where it looked like something had blown up. They had stumbled upon the after math of a battle.

"Someone silence her!" Aeddan exclaimed uneasily, the bitter taste of bile starting to settle in his throat. It was the kind of bile that formed before one throws up. And Aeddan did just that.

"You OK?" Miia said kneeling next to Aeddan rubbing his back as she did so.

" 'm fine, just the first time I've seen a dead body in real life. I'm OK now, thank you Miia" Aeddan said stand up, wiping his mouth with the back of his paw.

"Who could have done this?" Marcus asked crouching over an eviscerated body. The body looked like it had been torn up then chewed on. It was too badly damaged to tell what it was before.

"Not who, but what. Remember what our favorite mystery officer said? If jungle team doesn't get us then the altered beasts will and judging by the way this body was mutilated, I would say we are dealing with something really big and really nasty" Sylvia hissed as she picked through the body's remains.

"Yeah, thanks for stating the obvious Admiral Sylvia" Jamie said sarcastically with a frown.

"It doesn't matter what it is. As far as we know right now Jungle team is dead. Search the area and the bodies for gear, weapons, ammo, and any other gear we might be able to use then take all the supplies to the cave on the ridge. We will set up camp there, it's too open down here" Aeddan said spotting an undetonated grenade in the paw of the dead wolf he had just fallen in front of.

Soon Desert team had accumulated all the supplies Jungle team had gathered. Amongst the supplies they had found a satchel's worth of grenades, an M21 sniper rifle with a 3-9x variable zoom scope, a Sten machine gun, a handmade bow with arrows, enough MREs for another three days, a small supply of fresh fruit that looked like it had been recently harvested and...

"Hey commander, come look at this" Jamie said waving Aeddan over to something tarped.

"What is it? What have you found?...and it's Aeddan"

"Yes sir" Jamie replied coyly.

"No, just...never mind. What have you found?" Aeddan asked, face pawing himself.

"I found a car!" Jamie exclaimed, pulling the tarp off the vehicle.

"That's not just a car, that's an infantry carrier. Where did Jungle team get this?" Aeddan said in disbelief as he walked the perimeter around the vehicle.

"Well, you's be only half right on tha'" Johnny said from behind.

"Oh, and how's that Johnny?" Jamie asked putting a paw on one hip and giving him a look.

"Well, fo' one thin' it's a M1126, mo' commonly known as a Stryker. Thi' one in particular has been modified fo' jungle treckin'. It carries a .50 cal M2 Brownin' an' fou' smoke grenade launcha's with a secondery M240. This 'ere vehicle could transport all a us plus one mo'" Johnny replied giving a full run down of the infantry carrier's outer specs.

"Wow, you sure know a lot about this thing" Aeddan said, impressed at Johnny's knowledge of the infantry carrier.

"Well my daddy designed an' updated this carrier model. The gove'nment uses them for patrolin' o' cities an' outlyin' smalla' towns" Johnny explained.

"Wait wait wait, wait. Who is your father?" Jamie asked suddenly suspicious.

"Johnathan Charles McLaren the second, why?"

"Wait, the Johnathan Charles McLaren? As in the son of the late Mr. McLaren of McLaren Arms and Gear? That Mr. McLaren?" Aeddan asked incredulously.

"Yeah, I tho' you knew tha' an' tha' was why everyone was bein' so stand offish aroun' me an' treatin' me differ'nt" Johnny said with a shrug.

" We act that way around you because you act like an ass around us" Jamie said, both paws on hips now and frowning.

"Jamie! Some things are left better un-said. Johnny, can you drive this?" Aeddan asked frowning at Jamie.

"Well ah guess I can. My daddy let me try once an' I didn' crash o' nothin'" Johnny said scratching the back of his head as he looked at the Stryker.

"Good enough, now both of you get up to the cave and help with the set up. Light's almost gone and I don't want to be down here when it's dark" Aeddan nodding off in the direction of the ridge.

"Yes sir, already on our way" Jamie said trotting off.

"Oh, and Johnny. good job" Aeddan said pulling the tarp back over the carrier.

"...shut up halfa" Johnny replied before he followed after Jamie up the ridge.

Aeddan was about to follow suit when a glint caught his eye. The light from the artificial sunset had been reflected off of a lens, this is what had captured Aeddan's attention. Aeddan bent over to pick it up and found what appeared to be half a pair of glasses with a weird looking temple piece. Aeddan had a funny feeling in the pit of his stomach and decided to put it on. It didn't fit on his left ear so he had to wear it on his right. the end of the temple piece curved around his ear and then in to his ear like one of those full ear buds from the 90s. The lens part was then supported by a nose piece, which he had to adjust to fit his. Once it was situated over his eye he started up the ridge to the cave.

Aeddan wasn't expecting what came next. A sharp, single note range out in Aeddan's right ear, startling him, then causing him to lose his balance. Aeddan tumbled backwards down the path he had started up. Once he reached the bottom he decided he was going to rip the weird half glasses of his face and toss them when he noticed something. The glasses part was glowing a dim green and had brighter green words upon it: 'Name/Rank'. It was then Aeddan realized what he had found, he had found Jungle team's advanced piece of tech.

"So...what is it exactly?" Marcus asked peering at the tech Aeddan had found.

"Would you mind not doing that? It makes me feel like you are studying me and not the tech" Aeddan said leaning away a bit from Marcus.

"Well we won't really know until someone puts in their name and rank will we, and the only one here with any kind of rank is Aeddan" Frank said balancing the tip of his knife on one of his digits.

"He's right, come on Aed- I mean commander , maybe this thing is useful" Steven said catching himself, not wanting another slap in the back of the head.

"*Sigh* fine, just let me see what I can do and get back to me later" Aeddan said starting to look through his IWMD.

"Anything else you want us to do Aeddan?" Miia asked.

"Yeah, I need a complete list of all the supplies we now have accumulated. That means each piece of gear, number of MREs left, total number of rounds for each weapon, and a list of all our weapons in total. And I mean everything" Aeddan said without looking up from the IWMD.

As Desert team sorted the gear, and Aeddan looked through his IWMD, the light began to fade with the setting of the artificial sun. With the setting of the said artificial light, sounds began to fill the air around the team, new sounds, ominous sounds...animal sounds. Aeddan swore he heard a lion of some kind out there. The jungle was different from the desert in many aspects Aeddan decided. Whilst the desert was dead quiet, the jungle was the loudest place he had been in so far; other than the city he used to live in. And as quickly as the sounds had started, they ceased. All except for a single sound, one sound, out of all of them. It was the sound of footsteps, big footsteps.

Desert team became silent as it was apparent that the footsteps were coming closer. The ground shook as the footsteps came closer, Desert team could feel the vibrations all the way up in the cave. Aeddan turned away from the IWMD just in time to see a huge shadow amongst the trees and glint of red eyes before it revealed itself.

What Aeddan saw almost made his heart stop from fear. When it came out of the forest, it looked at first to be a giant wolf. The wolf head was at least as big as Marcus was if not lightly larger. It's teeth were almost as big as one of Aeddan's fore arms including his paw. Then Aeddan saw the lion's head. It was the same size as the wolf's, if you didn't count the massive sandy colored mane it had. It's teeth were almost as large as the wolf's head. As it came further in to the meadow it became apparent that it's body was not furry or in any way hairy, but rather scaled like that of a serpent's. The only hair on its body was on the wolf head and the lion head, the rest of it had scales from its toes all the way to its classic snake head tail.

"That's not possible..." Sylvia hissed quietly as she crouched next to Aeddan.

"Are you telling me you know what... that is?" Aeddan asked, snapping out of the overwhelming fear.

"Yes, but I can't believe they would still be creating them after what happened forty years ago. So many died that day" Sylvia hissed.

"Damn it female! What in the name of all that is holy is that thing?" Frank bleated quietly.

"It was a mythological creature from ancient times. Until military scientists figured out how to create them. My parents were the original creators" Sylvia hissed.

"Sylvia. What. Is. It?" Aeddan whispered, becoming frustrated.

"*Sigh* it's what's known as a...chimera" Sylvia hissed reluctantly.

Hey everyone, I know it's been a while since I posted another chapter. I have a good reason though. You see, I still go to college so I can be a welder. Finals were coming up and I needed to study for them. So I took a week to study, and needless to say the sacrifice was worth it. I aced one class and passed the other. the week of finals I had surgery so I was out of commission for another week. After that I had all this recovery time so I decided I should get back on the saddle. So here's CH 7 of Aeddan's tragic story. I hope you enjoyed that one particular part between Aeddan and Jamie. Oh and shocker on the monster. Some of you saw it coming I bet though. Remember, if you like the story, fave it, subscribe to it, or watch it. If you want to leave me a comment, question, or critique you can in the section below. If you want to leave a shout, please do. I am on everyday so if you leave me a PM I will most likely respond the day you send it. Keep on keepin' on my fellow furs and make sure you keep those paws moving. Ciao until next chapter.
