Dear love, excuse my absent minded thoughts,

They mean no harm, they lack proper focus,

A smattering of random blips and dots,

Your image shared as pivotal locus.

Grant pardon for the tumbling of phrase,

Disjointed jumbled words in broken line,

These noises stumble through the aural haze,

A brash attempt to greet the voice divine.

These transgressions you clean with open palm,

Converting sins from red to purest white,

Cover iniquity in righteous balm,

To quell the anxious heart that strikes on sight.

And when the pulsing rhythm slows at last,

My chestnut smiles as he has done in past.
