#85 of Iron Dragon

Despite being mostly exhausted, Wednesday and Winston were amped up by Tera's performance, and that they got the opportunity to come to the Velopian world. As the last of the colorful embers slowly burnt out as they drifted down; the crowd just continued to cheer. However the young Velopian would not be coming back out on stage no matter how loudly they asked her too.

Tera never stayed up late, and had fallen asleep part way through the firework display. They had already carried her to a car to be taken home. She was thrilled that Roslyn and Sarnia could make it, and thrilled by how well her new song had been accepted.

Wednesday and Winston were glad they did not have to get up early the following day. Wednesday woke up from Roslyn showering after her morning workout. "How do you do it?"

"Do what?" Roslyn asked as she came out in with just her blue jeans on. The towel draped around her neck and covering her breasts.

"Get up so early every day?" Wednesday asked before yawning.

Roslyn shrugged. "Just something I have always done. Plus, I sleep much better after my... change."

"I can't imagine what it was like. For any of you." Wednesday said and turned to put her feet on the floor.

Roslyn plopped down on the end of the bed to but her socks and shoes on. "I have been through hell several times... As innocent as Tera is, I couldn't imagine."

"She is certainly a sweet young woman." Wednesday said and glanced at the clock in the room. "How long until we need to leave?"

"You have plenty of time to take a shower and get some breakfast. I want to say the little after party is late afternoon." Roslyn said.

Marko was not the only business man in town for the celebration. Today was a final informal meeting of sorts, it also just happened that a young Velopian singer was one of the guests. Winston and Wednesday did not know that Nodrog talked Marko into bringing them along. Actually Nodrog need only suggest the idea that the two musicians could also be traveling for 'business' as it were.

Really it made sense to bring in people from different fields for the sake of business. Marko already had a hit in intergalactic racing, with Alice bringing in substantial revenue. It should be made clear that he was not supporting Alice because she brought in money. Marko supported Alice because she worked hard in both of her fields, and he was in a position to do so. Well and there was bragging rights, he was sure many men and women would like to say the number one driver was on their payroll.

Plus Marko was incredibly smart, music crossed cultural boundaries as easily as anything. He did not have financial interests in the entertainment industry, however he did know people. Actually Marko was friends with the owner of the record label Wednesday worked with. Nodrog suggested that it might be something to look into, so that is what Marko did.

Wednesday was so excited, she told her producer who had told the owner about the new talent she had heard. So when Marko brought the subject up, and that he would be going to the Velopian world. The other man asked him if he would take Wednesday with him, to see the young lady perform for a large crowd.

Roslyn was the only one who Marko had not planned on bringing. Granted she would not have taken no for an answer. Plus she was fully capable of traveling to any world unhindered. It was easier to just chuckle and let her know when to be packed. Becoming a Valkyrie had changed her a little, Marko noticed she smiled and laughed a great deal more. She also planned things out a little further into the future, instead of just jumping right in.

After a slightly lazy morning, they all climbed into a small bus for the trip. The Velopians were not ones to be flashy with their wealth. Though that did not mean they were above making sure to impress the right people. The party was being held out at a large farm house for the room it provided to entertain. A very wealthy Velopian business man owned the house. It was very large and it needed to be since all of the people who worked on the farm lived in it.

Roslyn had dressed up for the occasion, slightly. She did not really own business wear, since her business was flying aircraft. The only difference was she had on boots instead of sneakers and a solid color work shirt. One that was fitted for her lovely female shape and not some dude. She spotted Tera instantly, along with an older couple she figured were her parents. Judging from the three's expressions, it was a pre party lecture, likely on how to behave.

Nodrog kept Roslyn from immediately walking over to the group. "I know what you are thinking, it is not what you think it is."

Roslyn looked up at him, slightly annoyed. "Then what is it?"

"They do not want her spending all of her time with you and Sarnia. Her parents are just over protective, and they know other musicians are here." Nodrog said and smiled. He got Wednesday and Winston's attention along with Marko. All of them followed Nodrog over to Tera and her parents, along with Tera's manager who had just showed up.

"You must be Tera's parents. She certainly is a talented young woman and put on a wonderful performance the other night. Roslyn spoke very highly of her from their meeting on the Amazon world. You both must be so proud." Nodrog said eloquently in Velopian.

"We are very proud of our daughter's accomplishments. Also astonished that she has been noticed by two prominent earth elementals." Tera's father said.

Nodrog smiled. "Tera plays the same instrument as I do, though she is far better than I."

Nodrog introduced everyone, and explained that Wednesday and Winston had come only to hear Tera perform. Along with the fact Mr. October was good friends with the owner of one of the largest record companies on earth. It was something Nodrog was not fond of, but he knew how these things worked, and was a very eloquent speaker when needed. Plus the tiny little Valkyrie had asked him if he could help her, and he just couldn't say no.

The praise and attention had caused the young woman to blush a little. Though with Roslyn present she managed to stay and talk with everyone. Tera was not as surprised as her parents or manager when Wednesday and Winston brought up the subject of her possibly coming to earth for some performances. That was the whole reason Tera gave Nodrog the recording in the first place.

Keeping Roslyn from being over protective of Tera turned out to be rather easy. It just so happened one of the engineers who developed the hover systems the van used was in attendance. It was a conversation that left Tabbatha, Kitty and Catlin stunned, as Roslyn quickly grasped the basic workings of the complex system. Roslyn easily conveyed that Mr. October was interested in the technology, but on a smaller scale.

"Turns out, crazy pilots and millennia old dragons are rather adept at handling both ambassador and technical business duty." Kitty said quietly to Catlin, as Roslyn and the engineer continued to talk away.

"I have to admit, I am a little surprised myself." Marko chuckled. His remark did warrant at least a glance from Roslyn. Actually Nodrog had handled Tera's parents and manager better than Marko could have hoped. Explaining that Marko had built facilities just for Velopian visitors, and had easy access to transportation to anywhere in the human city.

Winston was blown away by how easily Nodrog could handle things in such a foreign setting. The dragon always seemed to know just what to say and how to say it. The topic didn't matter and he could just as easily talk music as he could sports or academics. Nodrog had also introduced the two human musicians to a couple of other Velopians in the music industry.

Winston actually found it easy to be around the Velopians and talk in this slightly formal setting. To be fair Sherman was never one for crowds and had lived a rather focused life. Winston had done well for himself and had a little broader experience than his older brother. Currently he was two up on a Velopian at a game rather similar to pool. He could not handle alcohol as well as Sherman, so he did not drink any, mainly to stay professional. Thought that also might be why he was two up in this game.

It was Wednesday that ended up spending the most time talking with Tera. The two became friends rather quickly having grown up in much the same way. Wednesday also had an over protective family who pushed her to spend more time learning to play an instrument, singing lessons or recording. They both also had hilariously disastrous first relationships, like bad teen romance movie disastrous.

Thanks to Roslyn and Nodrog, Marko ended up having a very good business trip. The crazy pilot and metal dragon had proven to be invaluable this trip. Especially considering neither could really be considered business savvy people. No matter, that was the reason Marko wanted to keep them in his employment, they were the odd pieces one always needs to finish a puzzle. Currently that was why Marko was having more success in off world trade than his competitors, he had the right pieces.

The Iron Dragon may have cost a large amount of money to keep, and to keep hidden, but now with Nodrog's problems erased from existence; well things were certainly turning around. The pewter starship frame alone was invaluable, compared to the cost of the imaging equipment. Some of the other races had expressed interest in MRI machines, either never having come up with the idea themselves or lacked the raw materials to make the complex machines.

From the sounds of Wednesday and Tera's conversation, music might just be the next big thing that really brings things together. Not everyone maybe a race fan, but Marko was rather certain everyone liked music of some kind. He enjoyed nearly all kinds of music, and was a little awe struck himself at Tera's performance. She simply had a voice that one could listen to for hours and not get tired of.

Marko's dealings with the Velopians were always pleasant, even if an agreement could not always be reached; or logistically, or physiology not possible. The humans could handle Velopian food and drink with no problem, since it just lacked certain nutrients. The Velopians could not handle food or drink from earth at all, the levels of iron alone was poisonous. Although distilled spirits were something both sides wanted to be able to trade. So far, the illegal drugs were staying off the market. As it was impossible to smuggle certain things on the starships. There was too much at risk to allow animals or living plants on board the ships.

The event was pleasant and included Tera and Wednesday both breaking out into song towards the end. Wednesday seemed to be just like Jenny in regard to getting along with anyone. The doe anthro was invited by many to come back to the Velopian city, even if to just visit. Winston did not have as much of an impact as Wednesday, but there was still promising things that might be in the works. After all, he did win at the table game.

Both of them would have liked to stay longer, but they needed to head back to earth. With containers full of things for trade, everyone boarded the starship for the short trip back home. Marko was incredibly pleased with the trip, however he did need to return home because later in the week, the dragon navigators would be stopping by.

It was something Nodrog had been working on while he also helped Alice. He had arranged for the three dragons to come to earth to visit the facility and meet the people they may be working with. The ship would be ready for testing by the end of summer. Knowing that they would not be working for or under Nodrog had eased some fears. Plus two of the dragons had met him earlier on.

While Nodrog and Roslyn were off world, Alice took first place for a second time at the invitation only rally. Kenny was not exactly thrilled having to navigate for her in the Viper. Since it was so much faster than the Lotus and they had a close call with a wall. There was a few more days left before Alice and Nodrog had to head out for the next points race. The little mouse and kitten had mischief on their minds, the kind that involved handcuffs and other toys.

Alice and Jenny invited Roslyn and Stacy over for a watch a movie eat some food kind of night. Stacy and Roslyn had a couple days of down time before they would actually head out again. Even Alice's tail was a bit more energetic than usual. They had not chosen the healthiest of food and after the movie everyone but Roslyn was a little wired.

Roslyn mainly dismissed their playfulness until all three of them ganged up to tickle her. Which is when Alice and Jenny sprung their well planed trap catching both Roslyn and Stacy in cuffs. The handcuffs were tied to the rather heavy couch and Roslyn's left arm was in one side, while Stacy's right in the other side.

"Hey that's no fair." Stacy said as Alice and Jenny giggled.

Roslyn was not very amused. "Okay, you got us. Now let us go."

Alice easily silenced further protest by straddling Roslyn and kissing her. She was a bit jealous that Jenny had been with the very beautiful otter more than once. Alice smiled as Roslyn gave into her advances and her fingers met no resistance unbuttoning Roslyn's shirt.

Jenny was a bit more forward with Stacy, simply depantsing her and going straight down on the little lion. Stacy whimpered and moaned as Jenny licked her very sensitive vulva and clit. Stacy only grew more vocal as Jenny slipped two fingers inside her.

"I didn't think it was fair." Alice whispered in Roslyn's ear as her fingers delicately ran across Roslyn's exposed stomach. A slight moan escaped Roslyn's mouth as her fingers lightly brushed across Roslyn's exposed panties. "Don't worry about a thing, Jenny has told me everything."

Roslyn sighed as Alice licked her ear and the girl's light touch went under her panties and to her mound. Alice was also not one to tease and slipped two fingers inside Roslyn. Who had gotten aroused rather quickly after she found out what the two girls were up too. What was not fair at all was Alice and Jenny stopping before either of them had climaxed.

The mischievous pair put on a little show as they removed each others clothing. Kissing and fondling each other while Roslyn and Stacy watched. Now that all four of them were hot and bothered, they let Roslyn and Stacy loose so the fun could continue in the bedroom. Which brought another little surprise as Alice, Jenny and Stacy all turned their attention to Roslyn.

Alice and Stacy both licked Roslyn's vulva and clit, each of them fingering her while Jenny kissed Roslyn and teased her nipples. Roslyn was more of a one on one kind of partner, and having the three of them giving her all of their attention blew her mind. It was impossible to focus on any one thing, and Roslyn let out a loud moan as they got her to cum.

Jenny pulled out the strap on, and helped Roslyn get it on while Stacy and Alice fooled around. Alice grinned coyly as Roslyn stood on her hands and knees above her. Roslyn's smile sent a little shiver down Alice's body as Roslyn positioned the toy before turning it on. Being beneath Roslyn was a little like being under Nodrog. Roslyn also had that presence, the feeling that submission was the only thing you could do.

Alice wrapped her arms and legs around Roslyn as she pushed the plastic dick deep inside her. The toy's low vibrations teasing her as she felt Roslyn's strong muscles tense up as she worked the toy. Alice let out a squeak as she felt something else adding to her pleasure, Roslyn's magic. "Oh you are all mine little mouse."

It took away a little from her own pleasure, but Roslyn managed to reach out to all three of them with her magic. Though the way Alice moaned and squeaked underneath her, pushed Roslyn to do more. Alice clung to Roslyn as they fucked, softly moaning in her ear as Alice kept getting closer.

With a final thrust Roslyn pushed the toy all the way in and Alice squeezed as she came. Alice grabbed her neck and kissed her deeply as the toy's vibrations continued to tease her. Jenny and Stacy both moaned as Roslyn's magic brought them to orgasm at the same time.

Jenny lifted her tail as she felt Roslyn's fingers caress her ass. Stacy moaned softly as Jenny purred from Roslyn's touch as she continued to go down on Stacy. Jenny's ears and tail went straight up as her eyes opened wide from shock of Roslyn sticking her tongue deeply inside of Jenny.

The kitten's bald little muff was damp from arousal and framed by her cute little ass was just to inviting. Roslyn licked the kitten rather aggressively before climbing up so she could use the toy on Jenny. Jenny mumbled 'oh fuck yes' as she was still teasing Stacy's little clit.

Stacy found herself under Roslyn after the otter had her way with the kitten. The little lion was in awe of Roslyn's presence and strength. Roslyn matched Randy in strength and muscle tone, however Roslyn was more like Nodrog than Randy when it came to sexual presence.

Roslyn took her time with the little lion, unsure of how rough they could play. Plus since she did not know Stacy as well as the other two, Roslyn certainly wanted to make her feel good. So the slower pace was equally enjoyable for the two of them.

Eventually they had gotten too tired to continue on and fell asleep on the rather large bed Jenny and Alice had. Nodrog had come in late to check on them, the smell of sex and female pheromones assaulted his nose. With a sigh he let them sleep despite having become very hungry in certain regards.

Chapter.

Nodrog was not disappointed in missing out, but relived that they still acted the same as they always had. After all it was not like he lacked willing partners for any sort of sexual activity. Although he would have liked the opportunity to lay with Stacy. He would still keep his promise to Randy and not solicit her company, but neither would he turn her away if she came to him. That was simply his nature, as was most dragons when it came to mating with those who are committed to others. Those like Mianth who did not seek out others for that level of interaction are rare.

Speaking of the lovely water dragon, she was back at her station on the Admiral's battleship. Which was carrying Sharn and some business people for work, it also was carrying the three dragon navigators. Including the storm cloud eyed air elemental that had met Nodrog at the meeting last year.

Mianth was the only one in uniform as she lead the three dragons over to Nodrog, Sherman, Marko and a dozen other people. The Iron Dragon kept the amusement to himself, Mianth did have a great deal more self confidence after adjusting to her new self. There was something about a woman who was clearly confident in herself, that certainly made her more attractive. She stood up a little straighter, and was no longer shy and soft spoken. Mianth was becoming a very strong and beautiful dragon.

The highest candidate for consideration was Cirrus. The air elemental had high levels of abilities, despite what his appearance and name might lead one to believe. His longer white hair along with his slender build could be confused with a female. His voice was soft and his demeanor quiet and polite. Only those storm cloud grey eyes hinted at his strength. They were intense and always focused, though his smile gave him a friendly if shy appearance. There were two small gold hoop earrings in each ear along with a thin gold bracelet around each wrist. The rest of his attire did not look any different than standard earth clothing.

Cirrus was a little more relaxed around the iron dragon, however the bear of a man that may end up being his boss was a little intimidating. He was glad Nodrog had given all of them dossiers of the people in charge. While Mr. October might look imposing, at least he knew the man to be very fair and easy to work with. And had dealt with dragon related problems before.

"Nodrog, may I speak to you in private?" Mianth asked after making introductions.

"Catch up with us when you can." Marko said and lead the others off for a tour of the facility.

Mianth and Nodrog walked in the other direction and away from the starship crew. "What can I help you with?"

Now the normally shy Mianth returned and she blushed quite deeply. "Its, really personal... Swear that you will not tell a soul."

"You can always confide in me Mianth with confidence I will never tell anyone." Nodrog said.

Mianth put her hands together and looked down at the ground. "I. It was an accident... The last time Tunrog and I were together, I hurt him."

Nodrog was once again thankful he could not blush. "In what way?"

"I didn't hurt that part of him." Mianth at this point was nearly blushing all over. "We were in our true form, and when he got me to climax I squeezed a little too hard. And well I cracked a couple of his ribs."

At this point Nodrog was relived, he had thought it was much more serious than that. Mianth was truly upset at hurting her mate, actually she had never hurt anyone before so this was serious in her mind. "First off calm down, you are certainly not the first female to injure her partner during sex."

"Are you sure, because Tunrog's other mates never hurt him." Mianth said and blew her nose on a hanky.

"Well it may not be an everyday occurrence, but it does happen. Alice scratched Jenny's back hard enough to draw a little blood during her climax." Nodrog said and put an arm around Mianth. "If not for my metal hide, a few women might had drawn blood during more intense stimulation."

"I do not know how to take that... I just cannot stand the thought of hurting Tunrog and scaring him off." Mianth said.

Nodrog chuckled. "I doubt you will scare him off. After all, most males, and especially dragon males, take pride in giving their partners powerful climaxes. Tunrog might have been surprised by it, but I am certain he is not afraid of you."

"I guess I never would have thought of it that way." Mianth said.

"While many think of water elementals for their fluid grace, water elementals tend to be very strong, just like their element. Capable of stunning beauty and summoning the strength to erode even the stoutest of earth." Nodrog said as they now walked to catch up with the group.

Mianth glanced up at him as they walked. "Dallarth and you both know something about me... Something no one else does. I have a right to know."

Nodrog met her gaze, those pretty turquoise eyes searching his for an answer. "What makes you think that?"

"I realized something at the hearing, Dallarth and you were the only ones not surprised by my sudden growth. I though your subtle amusement was simply from unnerving those at it. Now I think it is actually because you both know something about me that no one else does." Mianth said firmly. Her earlier embarrassment was gone, and now she was fully committed to figure this out.

"Oh, well I can certainly see why you would think that. Though I do not know what to say that would be satisfactory to your wishes." Nodrog said.

"Funny, that's exactly what Dallarth told me when I asked her about it." Mianth grumbled.

Mianth had fooled him, because he had started speaking before he actually had finished talking to Dallarth about it telepathically. She was also quick on catching the miss step in what he was saying. "I knew it." Mianth said with an evil little smile.

Nodrog could only chuckle. "Very well done Mianth, very well done."

"The two of you can only blame yourselves for any bad habits I pick up. I still have a right to know, I have to know." Mianth said as they walked over to the main building. They would teleport after they finished talking.

"Fair enough. Neither of us know exactly may or may not happen. There are some signs and evidence that supports some of our thoughts." Nodrog said, staying as cryptic and vague as he could be.

"Am I going to have to drag it out of you?" Mianth asked and reached out with her new found strength.

Nodrog smiled at her. "It will take far more than that, little one. Though that is impressive for someone your age."

Mianth blushed. "Am I going to become a typhoon?"

"Possibly, but depending on how things go. Let's just say that Dallarth and I might someday have to bow before you." Nodrog said.

"Damn it Nodrog I am being serious!" Mianth shouted catching the iron dragon by surprise. "I will never be more powerful than either of you. Furthermore how would such a thing be possible?"

"We have a couple of ideas, but none of them are solid or have we brought them up with any other of our kind." Nodrog stopped and turned to face her. When he spoke again he placed a finger between her breasts over her heart. "Inside you is something special, something powerful. How it got there is irrelevant. What happens is entirely up to you, and you alone."

"So typhoon it is then." Mianth said with a sigh.

"Only if your chose to stop there." Nodrog said with a sly smile. "Mianth you have always been strong, and you have always held yourself back. Even if you did not know it."

"So by teleporting both ships I only used the power I already have?" Mianth asked, now more confused than when they had started talking.

Nodrog's smile grew. "Indeed. Unless you have any other questions for me, we should probably catch up with the others."

Mianth looked up at him. "I am sure I do, but I get the feeling I will not get any answers."

Tabbatha jumped with a squeak when Nodrog and Mianth just appeared in the room with them. Which all of the dragons found slightly amusing, and one found cute.

"Is everything okay?" Sherman asked.

"Yes, I was worried over something that I did not need to be." Mianth said even though she was still concerned. At least she was a little relieved that Tunrog would not be scared of her, well for now.

Cirrus watched as the others in the company reacted to Nodrog and Marko. One was the head of the company and the other... the most powerful dragon. People greeted the two imposing men with smiles and cheer. They did not fear either of them, though it was clear they did respect them both. The only one who thought it odd was Marko's nephew Dmitri.

When they came across the beautiful raven winged Valkyrie, Cirrus and the other navigators noticed how she was the only one who did not give them respect because of their position or power. They knew she only gave them any because they had earned it, as she had even stated that fact. Though they were surprised by her demeanor and nature, since she spoke only what was on her mind.

"Cirrus, it is nice to meet you. Though I do not know if the name is fitting." Roslyn said as the young dragon kissed the top of her hand; a smile on her lips and in her eyes.

Cirrus smiled. "A pleasure to meet the famed Valkyrie, I am truly honored."

"I am afraid you will miss out on meeting the other famous person. Alice is out of town for her next event." Marko chuckled. Running into Roslyn was a bit of good fortune, since she had a knack for reading people.

"Well it can't be helped." Sherman said. They had meet Roslyn and several others when they came to the cafeteria. He, like Nodrog noticed she was more interested in Cirrus than the other two. Though neither could say why at this point. Only Sherman and Roslyn knew that Cirrus was also a type of cloud here on earth.

They would actually have lunch in the lounge for a quieter setting. After that they would head over to the mostly finished housing for off world travelers. Which would conclude the tour. The following day would be spent answering any questions the navigators might have. Along with finding out what sort of accommodations they might want. Since earth was a long way from the more dragon populated areas of the universe.

The navigators would also get a chance to talk to some of the other races that had worked and been on earth for a while. Along with going out to the city to see what their possible new home had to offer. Marko knew what it took to impress potential employees to come and work for him. Sometimes the really talented showed up on one's door step, like Frank and Alice. Others took a little coxing and seducing to get them to come and work for you like; Jade, Jenny and Roslyn.

People like Kathrin, Dr. Phillips only needed to be let loose with a nudge to fully comprehend their own talent. Those like Jim, just knew what to do and how to do it with unnatural skill. Marko had already chosen who he would offer the position to first, this was just to make sure the dragon would fit in well at the company and with the staff.

Marko also got a little amusement from the little amulet Nodrog had gotten for him. While Nodrog's magic made it work, it actually muddied his thoughts to people trying to read his mind. Because of Nodrog's power, Marko's thoughts were just simply not readable to any of the dragons, including Nodrog.

It was a token of trust, since Nodrog greatly disliked not being able to read a person's thoughts. However, it did offer Marko protection from other species who could us telepathy to unnaturally influence someone. Tabbatha also had one, though it sat on her desk in her apartment at all times. She was afraid Nodrog could use it to find out things about her. Despite the fact the amulets were made by Velopian shamans, and meant to keep even dragons from spying on a person.

The rather strange twist that caught the dragons and Velopians off guard was the person who would be showing the navigators around town. Since she tended to be a bit mischievous and a little over whelming to some people. Jenny was of course incredibly excited to be a tour guide for the three dragons. The cute little kitten was bright eyed and bushy tailed early in the morning when she was scheduled to meet them.

Jenny would not be alone since Sherman would also be going with them. Partly to keep Jenny's enthusiasm reined in and to answer any questions Jenny could not. They had a few places planed out in advance. Most of it was going to be played by ear, and what Jenny thought they might like.

"I thought you had a young daughter?" Cirrus asked as they got onto a shuttle bus to take them to the trolley station.

"I do, a very close friend is watching her for me today." Jenny said with a smile. Her tail swaying to some song in her head.

"It is very nice of you to take time and show us around. Though a bit odd for someone in your field to be a tour guide." A water elemental dragon said.

"I blame that mainly on Nodrog. He and Marko... I mean Mr. October, sort of unofficially made me a tour guide of sorts for off world travelers." Jenny said.

"If you knew her a little better, it does make a great deal of sense." Sherman chuckled. They both knew it had mainly to do with the pewter collar around her neck. Because Nodrog could monitor everything if he wanted or needed too.

They spent most of the day out in the city taking in sights and highlighting amenities that could be had. To end the day they actually went to a place familiar to Sherman and Jenny. The club Winston owned would provide entertainment, dinner and a few drinks if anyone wanted.

"Are you sure we can get in? This place has quite the line." Cirrus asked.

Jenny just smiled. "We called the other day, and Sherman's little brother owns the place."

"Right on time." Cid said and held open the door for them.

"Thank you Cid." Jenny said before leading them inside.

"Well it must be an enjoyable place." The water elemental chuckled and pointed to a table of Velopians. "They always seem to know where to go."

"Indeed they seem to have a knack for it." Cirrus said and smiled.

The three dragons did enjoy the club, and Jenny's odd sense of tour guiding. They did know she was trying to cover a large area in a single day. Plus she was in good spirits throughout the day and could answer every question they had. Sherman once off base and a little more off duty, was easier to be around. The wolf did have a rather wide reaching job to do with not enough experience to do everything he needed. Once they had done everything they needed to impress the first group of dragon navigators, it was time to actually decide who to offer the position too.

Marko had a fairly big meeting to get everyone's input on the matter. Jenny, Roslyn and Tabbatha being the only ones who were not department heads or people way up the corporate ladder. Granted Nodrog was not actually on the corporate ladder per say, but his opinion did matter.

The meeting was rather short, considering the significance of it. Everyone was in favor of seeing if Cirrus would accept the position. He had the shortest list of wants or needs and was the most recommended for working on a human world.

Cirrus greeted Mr. October and Nodrog with a hand shake. "I admit I have been pleasantly surprised by this world. Though I think it a bit unfair to use Jenny to win us over."

Marko chuckled. "Actually she is a very good judge of character. It was actually rather unanimous across the board. I would like to offer you the position of being our first dragon navigator."

"I am honored and humbly accept. I believe I will enjoy working here." Cirrus said with a smile.

"Excellent. Thought it will be a little before the top floor of the new living quarters will be finished. I hope that is not a problem." Marko said and pulled out some papers for the dragon to sign.

"No, I had taken that into account. We air elementals tend to be a little more patient than others." Cirrus said. He was pleased to have been chosen, especially since unanimous meant even the iron dragon had thought well of him. It would take a few weeks for things to be finalized and officially acknowledged. Since not only did the humans need to prepare to make him a citizen of their world, the navigators' council would need to note his position and standings.

So once the ship was ready for testing in a few months, Cirrus would be ready to move to his new home. On a backwater little world, in the shadow of the colossal iron dragon.
