An hour later we reached, Sierra's home then I told the girls to wait in the forest. They agreed to stay close by while I ventured the rest of the way to Sierra's home. When I emerged from the forest into the backyard Sierra's husband was standing on the patio. "Honey, that wolf's back do you want me to scare him off?" Earl asked looking behind him. She came outside and told him that I wasn't any threat and go tuck his daughter in.

Sierra also reminded him that he had to be up super early tomorrow morning. With that he kissed her cheek then made his way inside the house then upstairs. Once she knew he was out of ear shot she walked off the patio then walked towards me. The second we were out of sight I couldn't help but, ask her an evil stupid question. Naturally that didn't go over well then she threatened me with a tranq gun.

"Enough joking aside, now why don't you tell me why in the blue hell you're here?" She asked. Of course the look I gave her said more than any excuse I could provide her. "Zero, what were you thinking I gave you explicit instructions not to bring them here. Okay tell me that you've form some bond of trust between you and the two women." She stated. The look on my face told her that both women overruled her instructions.

"Seeing as they know you by the name Zero I should use that name in their presense. Though I'm going to shift forms just in case we have a bit of a walk on our paws." Sierra said. As her body mass increased, her spots began to appear then her tail slowly grew. The entire transformation took a lot longer than I thought it would. That meant Sierra hasn't had much time by herself to keep up her skills with her shifting.

"Looks like you're way out of practice with your wilder side there Sierra. Besides you haven't changed a bit since I last saw you if anything you look younger." I said. She reached over gave my arm a squeezed then wondered about the girls personalities. "Sierra its best that you find that out for yourselves I'd rather not go there." I stated. When we arrived at spot I asked them to hang around they weren't around.

"Umm, Zero any idea where they are or should I pull names out of a hat?" She wondered. I told Sierra the truth which annoyed me that they didn't stick around to wait for us. Taking a moment to smell the air around luckily both women weren't far away roughly ten meters. Shifting myself onto four legs I suggested we could cover more ground this way. Of course she's looking at me like I've been crack in the head with a rock.

We took off in the direction of their scent were and about five minutes later. Tendra was sitting patiently by the riverside while Luna on the other hand vanished. "You know Tendra you should count yourself very lucky that I'm not a hunter. Cause you'd make one hell of a living trophy for their vast collection of trophies." I stated. Earning a roll of the eyes and a rude remark from the hot headed red furred wolfess.

"Now mind if I ask you where in the blue moon did Luna venture off too?" I wondered. "What am I her babysitter she vanished the second we came here. Besides like any hunter would be wise enough to actually try picking any of us off." Tendra shot back. The entire time Sierra stayed out of sight when the sounds of splashing filled the air. Luna soon emerged from the water's surface then swam towards shore.

"Sorry, for taking off Zero, I was thirsty and the second we found this river. Naturally I couldn't resist the urge to jump in and go for a nice evening swim. I hope you're not too angry with us for not obeying your requests to stay nearby." Luna said shaking herself dry. This time around Sierra decided to come out of her hiding place and join the group. "Nothing like the smell of wet dog to make my evening more interesting." Sierra whined.

"Alright, who's the damn feline Zero, she doesn't look human to me so what's the deal?" Tendra growled. Before I could say something Sierra place a hand on my chest then spoke. "Why don't you mind your tongue or you'll miss the fun part." Sierra replied. Of course that certainly lit a fire under Tendra's tail as the two began arguing. Doing the wise thing I let Sierra and Tendra have at it while I moved to safe location.

Since I knew it wasn't worth breaking up considering Sierra could handle herself. Shortly after Luna sat down next to me while those two continued fighting. As she leaned against my left arm I felt a strange sensation and I couldn't explain it. Though it didn't last long as laid down besides me then she curled up in a ball. For some reason or another I placed my tail across her body while she slept.

"Zero, where in the **** did you run off to? Oh! Why didn't you stay by the river?" Tendra questioned. Not bothering to give her an answer I motioned to my left where Luna slept. Sierra appeared as well though she was in her human form this time around. "Aww, somebody looks comfy and look she's using your tail as a blanket and pillow. That's very sweet of you Zero if I did that my tall would be numb by now." Sierra smiled.

"Okay Sierra what's the verdict on Tendra and Luna can they revert back to being human?" I wondered. "Well, I've got good news and bad news regarding both women. The good news is Tendra can shift back to her human form with a little training. That I can handle with out too much trouble so long as she minds herself long enough. As for the bad news Luna there is pretty much the female form of yourself, Zero." Sierra said.

"I see so how do we go about telling Luna the news? You know for a fact she's not gonna like hearing that kind of news. Considering she was really looking forward to returning to some sense of normal." I replied looking at her. The look on Sierra face told me there was a lot more to this situation than I've been led to believe. "Why don't you tell me everything Sierra it'll ease your burden of guilt." I said.

"Well, since you had turned out to be so valuable before your little escape. The admiral ordered me to recreate how you came into exist though with someone more subdued. Of course he also wanted another that could shift between both human and were-beast. I refused at first but, he somehow learned of my relationship and used them against me. You can imagine the rest I really don't have to tell how it turned out." Sierra said.

As I looked back at Luna sleeping so peacefully something about it made sense. Though the one question that still plagued me was why force her to create another like me. Her father had me for a good while so why bother creating a second then it hit me. "Tell me something Sierra is Luna and Tendra's skeletons just like mine or different?" I asked. When Sierra looked away I could see her mind working heavily on my question.

"Zero, please forgive me as I said before Luna is just like you except for the gender. As for Tendra she's just like me though a different species no trace of Undanium or robocells." She pleaded. My anger for her father boiled to the surface like a volcano ready to erupt. I carefully stood up doing my best not to wake Luna from her nap. Both Sierra and Tendra watched me walk slowly over to a massive boulder nearby.

Taking a fighting stance I reeled back then stepping forward and swung my fist. It slammed into the boulder with deafening impact causing the massive rock to shatter. The sound alone woke Luna while Tendra and Sierra jumped as I stood there teeth bared. "Luna, Tendra you ladies are going to stay with Sierra she'll watch over you. It's not safe to be with me so promise me you'll protect one another." I stated.

Not bothering to waste anymore time with words I took off at full speed. Of course they tried to give chase and stop me from getting away but, I easily out ran them. Something inside me told me that nobody could be trusted besides I was more sought after. That meant if anyone government or military branch wanted to capture on of us. Naturally instead of looking for Luna, Tendra or Sierra they'd hunt for me instead.

Granted I could've remained with them and been happy but, this was my choice. Considering the fact they'd come looking for me and it's best that the others aren't with me. So until I'm no longer of any scientific or military interest I'm going to remain on the run. My destiny has become crystal clear for as long as I live the hunt for me won't end. As I traveled for several months across many states, until I couldn't run anymore.

To be continued.
