- * * The wonders of the deep sea never cease to astound me every day I spend wandering through the vast space under the surface of the water. I have been here almost my entire life, and I still see new things from day to day. But I am getting ahead of myself... Let me introduce myself, I am named Deepstar, an aquatic dragon. Needless to say now that the military had lost 'things' to send into battle without the cost of 'normal' human lives, they wanted another toy to send into the front line that could be expendable. At first the military sent in animals into battle such as their lesser halves, monkeys and gorillas. But they lacked human intelligence, so they proved useless. The military started work on genetically engineering humanoid animals with the brain power of computers. They spent countless animal lives in their experiments to try and make "The ultimate soldier". But as man is known for they learn quickly from their mistakes and achieved the creations of what would later be known as 'morphs'. The human military used morphs in battle with outstanding results. The morphs not only proved excellent in intelligence, morphs of different species adapted superbly to different environments. This went on for a few years until, you guessed it, a new rights group arose called the 'morphs rights group'. The MRG spawned from the animal rights group, but to the military, animals had no rights at all. And after all the morphs were still animals. The military started letting morphs who served about 7 years in the branch they were in, retire. It pleased the MRG, so this is how it went for along time. Only in doing so, the planet quickly became crowded with morphs, and the majority were not happy about it either. Their came a war between morphs and humanity to see who took control of the planet. The morphs won, but they didn't want to stay on a human infested planet any longer. They begun picked up research on the space program where humans left off and in no time at all formed their own form of space travel. Ironically since the military made the morphs with brain powers of that of computers, the morphs excelled far greater then humans could have dreamed. The morphs constructed a massive space station, and begun work on interplanetary battle cruisers, in case they found more planets with humans on it. The interplanetary research group was quickly born, and began research almost immediately. It took a while but the morphs found a planet suitable to their liking, remarkably identical to Earth. They named the planet Furth. Cheesy I know but that's what they named it, not me... Morphs have dwelled on Furth for several centuries now, and more morph species arose in the time they colonized this planet. Well that brings us to today.
