Ok, here is the next part. Hope people enjoy it!

Jenny rushed to the door and flung it open, expecting the calm, reassuring sight of a sober-suited government Event task force member. "Oh, thank god you're here..." she began. However she suddenly noticed that things were not quite as she had pictured them.

On her front step were four adults and two children, bundled up against the winter chill. The adults were staring at her horns in shock, while the two kids began belting out 'jingle bells', muffled by scarves. When they noticed their parents not joining in the faltered to a stop, looked up, and noticed Jenny's condition.

The child on the left (gender was impossible to tell because of the muffling layers of bobble hats and jackets) let out a piercing scream and ran, prompting the rest of the carollers to hurtle off. Weather they were chasing the child who was not dodging traffic and flailing their arms widely, or trying to get away from Jenny, it was not clear.

Either way, she stepped outside, holding up her hands and trying to appeal for calm in as surreptitious a way as she could. "Wait!" she called out after them. "Please...don't..." Realising that they were too far away, and that shouting louder would attract more attention to herself, Jenny closed the door behind her, stepping down into the street to try and chase after them. For all she knew, she would have to make them stay there and wait for the Event team to debrief them.

Adjusting her thick winter jacket, which was where she kept her keys, Jenny set off for all of three paces before she noticed that she was not wearing that item of clothing. She looked down at herself. Then back at her now-closed front door. Her mind did not quite grasp that she was locked out for a moment. Instead she looked around as if there was a clue as to why she suddenly felt like she had dome something stupid. That was when she noticed that the few people on the street had gone from watching the fleeing carollers to watching the strange woman who seemed to have horns.

Realising what a position she was in, Jenny blushed heavily and considered her options.
