************************************************************************************************************

Five hundred years, Five hundred years he's roamed this world, the only companion by his side the chilling night air, but it had not always been this way.

The year was 1507, and the male feline's name was Kein, as it still is today. Kein was just your average feline. Kein, a six foot two, charcoal black feline had always lived in the village of Ronstay. His parents never a part of his life because they died when he was eight, only to be taken by slavers and sold. The man who bought Kein never cared for him, nor any of the others he had acquired over his life, which ranged from canines, bats, panthresses, and wolves, though he knew there surely others as well. But for him, he was nothing but cheap labor for the master. Kein only had one job on his master's plantation, after being sold and sent away, and that was to take care of the horses at the stable. He made sure the stable was always kept clean, the masters horses groomed, and when every spring came around, to encourage them to breed. His master would get terribly upset at Kein if he couldn't meet the seasonal quota of breeding at least three mares. If he didn't the consequences would always be dire.

Kein never gave his lord any reason to hate him, at least not a lot of the time. Sure he would try to stop the occasional beating that a young slave/surf would endure by the guards, or rape. But whenever he did, the leather straps and whip would come out, and the public lashing in front of the other servants would remind him that in the end it was pointless. Life was just meaningless to Kein, even now it didn't matter. Hell, he couldn't even recall his master's name anymore, quite a depressing reminder to anyone who were able to live this long. As always though, like many times before, Kein would simply toss aside all such feelings and memories from long ago, into the recesses of his mind, and focus on the now.

The slaves/surfs had one rule, "Survive the day." Simply it meant just keep living, if nothing else, because one day, life may change, as was the case for a night in the spring of 1507. Kein had been at the stables late one night, he knew that dawn would be arriving within some hours, but his master demanded that his horse were clean after the white mare had broken free and fallen in some mud. For hours Kein had toiled to get rid of all the sticky muck that stuck to the gorgeous creature, and even after took rose peddles and herbs to make her smell nice.

So he would have returned to his shack like he normally would have if he hadn't heard rustling from the woods nearby the stable. At first Kein didn't pay any heed to it, thinking it was probably a doe or rabbit that frequented the area. Only when his ears twitched back hearing moans, a woman's as a matter of fact, followed by a large thump, did he scrabble around the stable. Once there Kein looked down to see a gorgeous creature, a female bat, clad in tight black leather pants, and cotton shirt, with a leather vest. By her side she had two daggers, but room for a third, which was unavoidably in her back, dying the vest a deep shade of vermillion. His eyes only grew larger as he noticed that she had dozen of deep gashes on her back, and a steady stream of blood flowed from her back to the ground below. Kein carefully approached the young woman, and turning her face up, marveled at her pristine beauty, the one you would see of royalty. The female bat had long black hair that would have looked gorgeous if it hadn't been for the twigs, blood, and mud enmeshed within, her ears, long like a bats, and curved, surely she could hear quite well. The bat though didn't have any wings, known to have grown unaccustomed to them and shedding them long ago. The last thing he marveled at was her deep red eyes that looked up to his blue ones. He had never seen such eyes. Squinting she looked up at Kein and reached out a hand.

"Hey...hey miss, are you alright?" Kein pleaded nervously, looking at her pale face, which was remarkable lighter than the rest of her fur.

"Ugh..., drink," she grabbed his dusty working vest, "I need something to drink," groaning again, before passing out again.

Kein didn't know what the woman was talking about, 'A Drink' he thought out loud, woman still in his hands. Oh, water he thought, but the water at his shack wasn't healthy enough for her. His mind fumbled as he tried to think of what to do. Smiling a moment later, he picked up the female bat-tress and began walking to the lord's manner. Kein knew the lord had clean water, and more to help this woman. So sneaking through the back kitchen door, where the pigs ate the master's leftover food, he crept inside. Slowly Kein made his way upstairs to one of the lord's guest's rooms. He had to be careful, for if the lord found out that anyone was helping an injured person, he would not only beat the one who tried to help them, but the injured party would be killed. His mast he remembered was a terrible sadist, a person who got kicks out of seeing others in pain.

"I must be careful; I can't get blood on master's sheets," Kein whispered under his breath as he reached the guest room.

Kein was caught in a dilemma; he had to somehow set the woman down in a soft place for her to rest. But he simply couldn't set her on the bed, for is he did the master would know, once the maids monthly run of the rooms found the blood. The consequence would surely be the round up of all of the slaves/surfs by the master's guards, and beaten till near death.

Luckily for Kein though, he spotted a crate by the wall filled with ruined and tattered cloth. Setting the woman down in the crate, she grimaced at the slight pain, her chest leaning against the wood, back making sure not to touch anything. Kein watched as blood still poured steadily out from he missing knife being jabbed within.

"Miss?" Kein spoke softly, eliciting a questioning murr from her lips. "Will you be okay, I need to get you some ointment and medicine tools, you need to be quiet though, if the master finds out you're here, he'll kill us both." The woman chuckled a bit, surprising Kein as he began standing up, and then nodded a bit, before he left.

Silently he went down stairs from which he came, drawing little attention to himself from the creaking wood. The only ones that took noticed where the masters, prized pigs. Even to this day Kein never did know why his master kept pigs as pets, but he always did relish that his master only could love something that was the same as him. The pigs, two fat white and black polka dotted ones, ran up the stairs and into a room, where he thought they must have surely gone to their master. The kitchen was close now, and everyone he supposed were asleep in their respective huts and shacks outside, waiting for the new day, and the one more reminder that their life was basically meaningless.

Inside the kitchen now, Kein rummaged through drawer after drawer, until he found what he sought. Some bandages, stitches, and honey, along with a pitcher of water, he proceeded back to the woman inside the room he had left. As Kein neared the room, he heard slight rustling sounds emanating ahead, and thought to himself 'she must be more awake, I hope she's not in too much pain.' He quickened his steps and eventually opening the door, saw her sitting up, blood lightly covering her lips, with the dagger in her back removed, laying by her side.

"Oh you're awake again?" Kein spoke softly, "I got some bandages, here turn around and take off your shirt."

"What?" the bat said to him, wiping what little blood she had on her lips.

"Uh, well your wounds need tending to, I'm surprised your up at all, you should be dead," he said sheepishly.

"You have no idea," she replied, turning away, and exposing her bare back.

Blushing deeply, Kein took thread and needle and began stitching the woman up. In all he stitched up, from his count, fourteen stab wounds and began wrapping the bandages around her back, covering her mid sized breasts. Once they where coated he used the honey, which he had used to cover the stitching, and used it as a bonding agent to keep the bandages in place.

"So...what happened to you madam?" he spoke softly.

"I was attacked." She spoke monotone.

"Oh...well I figured that, but by whom?" he questioned again.

"Some crazy people who believe that I'm a monster," then closing her eyes and looking down she added, "I got careless, one of those damn priests grabbed one of my daggers from me," her hand gesturing to it on the floor, "and furiously started stabbing."

Before she could say anything else, Kein suddenly blurted out, "A PRIEST! Why would a priest try to kill you?"

"You forget lad, I said 'people,' there were more than one," holding out her hand showing five fingers.

"But why, I've never heard of priest attacking anybody before. The priest who visits us on Sunday is always kind, he's one of the few good things we surfs have to look forward too," he spoke softly, while padding down her bandages making sure they stayed put.

"Don't believe everything you hear boy," she snapped.

"Shh," Kein hushed at her, "you're in my masters' house, if he hears or finds you here he'll surely kill you and me.

The female bat just looked at him for a while, her red eyes boring into his. Tension grew between the two and Kein pulled his gaze away.

"Well, that should do it Miss..., oh by the way what is your name?" his face looking away, as the woman put a raggedy shirt that was underneath her on. Kein soon realized, after silence filled the air for a few moments that she wouldn't say anything.

"Well, miss, it's alright, if you don't want to give your name, but I have to leave now," he bowed to her. "I brought some water for you since you said you where thirsty, but please get some rest, and don't leave the room, I'll be back in a couple of hours with some food. With that said, Kein left the room, closing the door and locking it, never once noticing the puddle of blood coming from the room's closet.

.

Walking away, and to his little shack Kein thought to himself, "She's a tough one, I wonder who she is, and where she came from?" More questions bubbled to the forefront of his mind, as he entered the shabby shack, and approaching his cot drifted to sleep, the woman's plight still in mind.

(A few hours later, Morning)

Screams, screams that would chill anyone to the bone, echoed from outside of the shack. Kein tumbled out of his cot, still wearing the same dirtied brown cotton pants, vest, and white shirt on as he did yesterday. Flinging open the door, Kein ran towards the screams, noticing that it came from the chicken roost, where more slaves/surfs where running to as well.

What he saw revolted him to the core. Strewn about on the dirt and straw where thousands of feathers, many of them dyed red, pieces of flesh and body laying lifeless. He knew what they where, the master's chickens, and all 150 where dead, not a one among them alive. The worst part where the chunks of missing flesh centered around their necks, as if some beast had ripped right through them.

"AHH...God... NOO," a female wolf sobbed, crying in her hands, "who...(sniff) who would do this?" she fell down weeping again. Knowing full well she would be punished, for the deaths of the lord's livestock. It didn't take long.

"What the HELL is going on, what are you lazy surfs gathering around for, get..." he never finished his sentence, the lord, a tall, slightly chubby tabby cat with orange hair tied back and wearing fashionable clothing, one befitting his stature in life, took one look at chicken roost and turned red.

"What the HELL," he bellowed, then his head swiveled to the crying wolf, who the others where trying to console.

"Guards grab this BITCH, and take her to the gallows." He yelled over his shoulder. The sound of shuffling metal soon reached everyone's ears as it worked its way to the surrounding crowd. Suddenly a few feline, wolf, and canine anthros, wearing pieces steel armor, decorated and with the lord's crest came into view and apprehended the petrified woman. Kein knew what was going to come next, and there was nothing he could do about it.

Guards dragging the woman to the gallows, threw her against hangman's beam, and ripping her shirt off, bound her against the beam with leather straps. It was a horrible site to behold. She was just a little older than Kein, a mere 24 years old, yet her features where that of an aged woman. She was well liked, even by some of the guards; she didn't deserve this. When she was tied down, the master showed up, a whip in hand, and raising it, threw all his being into it.

"WHORE," *SWISH*...*SLAP*, "Can't do your damn job," he bellowed. Another whip and slap bore itself into her skin slashing fur and flesh from her back..

"MASTER!! AHH, I'M SOR... GUAH," she was quickly interrupted as more whips hit her back in quick succession. The crowd below cried, holding onto to each other for strength, and whatever sense of safety they could, as she was whipped again and again.

"DON'T APOLOGIZE, YOU DAMN SURF," he never let up once, "YOU HAVE ONE JOB. TO FEED THE CHICKENS, KEEP THE PIN CLOSED, AND MAKE SURE THEY BREED!!"

"Master I promise I did it like any other day," she whimpered, it was obvious she was losing too much blood, she was losing consciousness. The whippings continued until, the master was done, panting for air. It was, for all the surfs knew, the worst whipping they had ever seen.

"Let this be an example to all of you," he called out from atop the gallows, "If any thing like this ever happens again, not only will you get the lash, but no food for two days, and additional hours and workload, UNDERSTAND!!" the master yelled at the end.

"Yes Lord," the surfs said in unison, the master grinning, reveling in his illusion of power. Leaving the stage he returned to the main state house, going to work on his funds, profits, as well to put in an order for new chickens.

The rest of the day, nay the week didn't go on very well for Kei or the other surfs. The chicken keeper, that had been lashed, was found dead three days later, of infection, other animals such as the sheep, goats, and cows started showing up dead, the same pieces of flesh torn from their necks, blood everywhere, and no matter what anyone could do, they couldn't find the lords' prized pigs.

The master was furious the entire time, and so punished all of those who had failed at their tasks. He even hired on more guards to watch the livestock, but it didn't help. Various other animals would show up the next morning dead, and soon later even the chirping birds fled. Though anything that could go wrong did, Kein never once stopped looking after that gorgeous bat. He would show up every morning, where she just sat in her crate, covered in rags, with food, check on her condition and run off to work. It was completely different at night though. When Kein would show up after everyone had fallen asleep, he would sneak into the lords manor, and grabbing some food from the kitchen, take it to her where the bat would be laying down on the bed, each day looking better and better. During this time the Kein would ramble about his day, the negatives and positives that had transpired, with the bat being all ears.

Sure, she would make comments, remarks, and even give Kein some helpful ideas on how to be more productive, keeping the guards eyes away from him. But when he would shift the conversation towards the mysterious woman, her smile, which was a rare thing for her, would vanish, only showing a placid face, devoid of any emotions. When that would happen Kein pretty much knew the conversation was over, and saying good night would leave to go to bed in his cot. Though he swore every time he would leave that he would get her to open up more, finally after nearly two weeks looking after the woman, it did.

"Impressive," Kein said, undoing her bandages for the umpteenth time, "They're healing well madam. Oh my god they're healing too well, I can barely see them," he said shockingly.

Continuing, "If it keeps going this well you just might be able to leave tomorrow." Her head went down a bit as he said this. Kein knew all to well that she was enjoying the time with him.

"Is everything alright?" he said, "If you're sad, I could go tell the master and see if he'd..."

She swirled around and grabbed his wrist, before he could finish. What Kein saw was scary. Her eyes where glowing red, as fangs could be seen protruding from her mouth as she hissed. Trying to escape the woman's grasp, all he did was succeed in flailing about like an idiot. Kein couldn't break away, he was surprised at how strong she was, he never knew such strength, it was like a bull had literally got a hold of him.

"Idiot, why would you do that? If you tell your master he'll find out what you've been doing and surely beat you to death." She said furiously her head lowering to his.

"I I'm sorry, please let go, you're hurting me," Kein begged her..

She suddenly let go, Kein toppling over the bed, landing with a thud, his nappy black hair covering his face. Quickly Kein jumped back up, running to the far side of the room, panting and holding his pained wrist. Looking at her again, Kein noticed that the features she bore just a second ago where gone. Brushed aside as if they where never there, and all that looked him was the woman, fangs gone, and eyes a deep violet now.

"What are you," Kein asked carefully, keeping himself out of her reach and grasp.

"You need not bother, if I told you," she huffed and sighed, " then I would have to kill you, so lets just leave it at that," she said, all happiness now drained away from her, just like that moment she was found.

"I can live with that, but at least... at least tell me your name?" he pleaded to her, slowly approaching the bed and sitting next to her.

"Morana... Morana Staunkinger," she said, "Are you happy now?"

With a smile Kein looked into her eyes and said "Yeah, I am." chuckling to himself he helped Morana put on a better shirt, that a fellow surf had made, per his request, and sure enough it was white cotton, along with a brown vest. Kein then brought the food over to her, and some water.

"Well, it's getting late, I better get going," he petitioned to Morana, "See you same time tomorrow?" he said right at the cusps of the door.

"Yeah, I'll be here," she wanly smiled, though Kein was completely oblivious.

"Alright then, goodnight," with the door closed and locked, Kein silently left the lord's house, and crept to his shack, where he opened the door like many other times before, a light squeak coming from its hinges, and throwing his shirt, shoes, and vest off, through himself onto his cot, and fell asleep smiling.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK...*SLAM*

Kein's head shot up high and fast as his door fell to the ground. Kein could see guards approaching his cot. They all stopped but two, and seconds later those two grabbed him by the arms and flung him to the wooden floor. Kein tried to pick himself up, only to met with a swift kick to the gut. Mouth flinging open, and saliva sputtering to the ground, Kein tried with all his might to get the much needed air back into his lungs as the guards grabbing either side of him, hauled him outside.

"What's going on," he thought to himself, as they where dragging him through the misty night. Pain slowly doling down a bit, Kein noticed he must have been asleep for only a couple of hours, and was curious as to why they where doing this to him. Meanwhile the other guards where awakening all the other slaves and surfs, commanding them that the master wanted them to report to the gallows.

Being hauled up the gallows, Kein saw the master, who was clearly furious. By the appearance of the man, he hadn't gotten any sleep, and his eyes where blood shot. In his hand was his famous whip and in the other his jeweled encrusted sword.

"ATTENTION EVERYONE!" he bellowed, hushing and drawing everyone's attention. "For the last week, many of you have been punished on not doing what I simply ask you to do, WELL THAT'S ENOUGH!" he ended with a yell, startling everyone.

"Seeing as none of you have learned a lesson, I'll have to take more serious measures," he spoke, while simultaneously throwing down his whip, and pulling out his sword.

"WHA- MASTER, WHAT'S GOING ON... MASTER?" Kein shouted pleadingly, the feeling of fear taking over his mind.

"DON'T PLAY COY," turning and looking at him, "I KNOW YOU HAVE BEEN STEALING FOOD, AND NURSING THAT BITCH IN MY HOUSE."

"But sir, she was injured, she needed help," Kein petitioned. It was in vain, for the master didn't show an inkling of emotion or caring.

"NOT my problem, you should have just left her to the vultures," I don't need to feed another mongrel. Let alone one that steals from me, he then gestured to his guards.

Kein was shocked; he was going to beaten; probably more than anyone else for saving a life. At that instance he cursed God for every bringing him into this world, a world where his life had no meaning, where he simply worked for one man, never to be free.

"But it doesn't end there," his face twisted in a despicable shape of hatred and loathing, mixed with a slight grin, "Guards bring it here."

Two guards approached with a carriage and in it a large cloth covering something massive. "Uncover it, let everyone see!" He bellowed to all who could here.

Two guards, grabbing each end of the vermillion stained cloth, removal it, showing the crowd what lay beneath. Stench abruptly hit everyone's nose, as their eyes flew wide at what they witnessed. The rotting remains of two pigs, there bodies barely identifiable, where torn apart, and next to them two black horses, from KEIN'S stable. All four where the masters prized possessions, and to have them all taken away from him, had thrown his rage into a whole new realm.

"WHA...WHA, master I didn't know, I locked them up, as always, and the pigs I didn..." Kein kept pleading to him.

"SHUT IT, YOU USELESS FUCK! I FOUND MY PIGS IN THE CLOSET OF THE ROOM YOUR BAT BITCH WAS IN," he glowered. "Ahem... and for the horses they where found just an hour ago. YOU are the cause of this, it's that devil woman, and she'll pay, but not after you do." He grinned madly, sword, pointed at me.

"MASTER, I DIDN'T... PLEASE," Kein began to sob, his eyes wandering down at the crowd, glimpsing at the women, whose mouths cupped in their hands, the men looking down for fear of being thought of as an accomplice, and the children their eyes turned away, or turned by their scared parents.

Kein saw their eyes widen, just before he felt a sharp pain enter his chest, followed by immense cold, creeping throughout his body. He looked at his chest, eyes squinting, to see that a beautiful sword was resting against the left part of his chest. Then he realized silently, all emotions fading away but fear, "The master he's killed me." His breathing became shallow, and the crowd began to cry, as his eyes lightly closed, watching the scene unfold around him.

" No then, if anyone ever defies me again I'll..." *SWSH*

"AGHHHH," white feline surf screamed, as she saw her masters' head suddenly fall off his shoulders, and next to a dying Kein. The guards shocked at this, quickly took up arms, and ran to their fallen master. In the meantime the surfs scrabbled to their homes in a panic, wanting to have no involvement with what was happening. Just before the guards could reach their master, they all stopped dead in their tracks. Standing next to the now decapitated corpse stood a female bat, Morana, and in her right hand, the master's head, a wicked smile across her muzzle as she stared down the 30ish or so guards. Opening her mouth, and sticking out her long pointy tongue, she tipped the back her head, and let the blood from the head pour smoothly down her throat, savoring her first real "Drink" in weeks.

"AHH... blood of madness, always gets me," she giggled looking at horrified guards that just looked like they saw hell itself.

"Oh, I see we have dessert," she cooed. Suddenly her eyes went red, and fangs jolted out. Her hair rose off her scalp in a sort of demonic way, and an instant later she was on top of the guards. Quickly she took down the first on, using only her hands. Her fingers pointing straight out plunged into a horrified collie's chest, going through iron armor, bone and flesh as if it where paper. From her attack, the guard just simply keeled over and died. Turning her attention on another guard who was preparing to strike her from behind she slashed through his right arm, and grabbing it as it fell, retrieved the iron broad sword he wielded, and turned it against him. With one fluid motion she slashed him in half, right through the waist, blood issuing forth, like a fountain. More charged at her, and she was all to happy to appeal to their killing nature.

There where many guards, they converged on her position from many angles, trying to enact revenge on their fallen master. But for all their fighting, not a one made contact with her, she dodged, weaved in and out, and flat out disappeared in a wisp of smoke, only to turn up behind them, as if she where conducting a ballet of death. Eventually it got down to one last guard, a white wolf, who though he was the lucky one. For his sword actually made contact with the bat, who was at the moment engaged in chomping into the neck of a very dead Persian cat.

"I got you, you demon, FOR THE MASTER," he shouted. His sword swung high, hit her on her neck. As it made contact with her neck, it suddenly shattered into thousands of pieces. The white guard was in shock and pain as he cradled his wrist. He knew his hand was now broken, and seeing that death was approaching him like the wind, he began to beg for his life, tears wallowing up from his eyes.

"Foolish wolf," she smiled, "You come charging, and attacking me without even knowing what I am, and only when you see your life is about to end, you beg, how pitiful." She snorted. The injured wolf began backing away, staring at this...this monster. His eyes made contact with Morana, and suddenly he was paralyzed.

"What... I can't move," he panicked, his body flailing about, trying to move his feet, but to no avail.

Morana now had her right hand up, and fingers posed in prayer, speaking a Latin mantra all the while. Stopping suddenly she pointed an open palm towards the guard, and with it lightning from the sky dived down upon him. It enveloped him completely; his face full of pain, a mouth opened more than should be allowed, but not a single noised escaped it. The lightning lasted a mere three seconds, but it was enough to literally cook this wolf well. His crisp, smoking corpse stood, armor melted to his feet, holding him in place. The area devoid of all life, except the one fading away fast, and so turning to the gallows, ran up them and toward Kein.

"Kein...Kein," she called out to him. Her features back to normal. "Are you alright?" It was then that she noticed the smell, and looking down, saw a red pool of liquid emanating from a side his hand was cradling. It was his blood, and from the looks of it, he had lost too much to be saved.

"I'm cold," he said to her earlier statement, blood still pouring down his side, his face becoming a lighter shade of black. Morana grasped him gently, and pulled him into a hug, trying desperately to warm him.

"Kein, listen to me, I can save you if you want. I can give you a new life, but it will come at a cost," she stammered a bit, knowing full well that what said decision would entail.

"I don't want to die," he whispered to her. Morana didn't know if he had understood her, or was simply speaking his mind. She had to make absolutely sure that he wanted to live.

"Does that mean you want me to save you?" she asked on last time, "Because if it is, you can't take it back once I save you."

"Ye...ss," was all he said as he stopped breathing.

Morana didn't have much time. Taking her right wrist, she bit deep into it, letting blood pool up to the surface. She lowered it to the Kein's mouth, and let it drip down his throat, whereupon her free hand rubbed his adam's apple, making him swallow, as life, in a sense, slowly returned to him. Suddenly both his hands bolted out, grabbing Morana's bleeding wrist, as he began sucking her with all his might, Morana's head threw itself back, as her eyes closed, and mouth opened releasing moans pleasure into the night sky, but it was soon coupled with pain as she noticed he was going a bit too far.

Alright Kein...AH...that's enough," she spoke gently at first. Kein didn't have any semblance of letting up. "Kein, I said ENOUGH," she yelled down at him, pulling her arm free from his vicious grip.

Kein, now free from his bondages, with the help of Morana, laid flat on his back, a smile on his face. His body shook a little bit, a smile still plastered on him, then another shake, and another, before his entire body was over taken by violent convulses. Each convulsion made his face twist in pain, only to go back to smiling each and every time. It didn't last as each convulsion came closer and faster to one another until his body was jut flailing about on the wooden gallows, Morana all the while witnessing what she had just given the poor soul.

Eventually the convulsions ended, only to be followed by Kein screaming out in pain, his back arched high in the air as the open wound from his earlier run in with the master's sword healed instantaneously. Soon after that, his beautiful yellow eyes turned red, and two crescent moons, lined themselves down through each eye, in a golden color on his fur. The last most noticeable feature was that of his teeth, where two long fangs, grew slowly out, completing the dark ritual Morana had just performed.

"Kein, are you awake?" She spoke to handsome cat, whose eyes where closed. Breathing shallow, and blood surrounding him gone. His features where handsome, as the ritual had removed all semblance of dirt from him.

"Um...yes I'm up," he spoke calmly. Morana was impressed, as with most people she had seen turned, none had ever calmly gotten up. When they were changed, most became sadistic, blood craving fools, charging into the night for a quick meal. But not Kein, he simply stood up, taking a stance that demanded obediance, a sentiment she couldn't share at the moment.

"Morana, what did you just do?" Kein asked simply, looking into her eyes.

"I changed you, I saved your life, just like you saved mine," she said looking away from his gaze. She felt ashamed of what she had done, and knew it would haunt her forever.

"Into what," he questioned, as he folded his hands and looked upon her enchanting form.

She looked straight into his red eyes, marveling at their depth and color and said, "A vampire."

(500 Years Later...Present Day)

Kein's eyes flew open as he was startled out of his memory by the crackling of burnt wood. He looked over to the fireplace where he say comfortably in his libraries study, book on his lap, and a glass filled with red liquid by a small mahogany table by its side. Kein just looked around, nothing in particular going through his mind. It was a little bit afterwards that he felt something wet on his cheeks fur. Taking his right hand, he touched the wet spot, and held it up for him to see.

"Blood?" Kein said, "I was crying...my God how long had it been since I've done that?"

Kein, then recalled his dream, or was it his memory; it was hard to tell for someone as old as he was. He knew that Morana was the one who turned him, and that afterwards took him under his wings for a few days. She had taught him to be stealthy, to hide his appearance, and who and how to feed. She even helped him communicate to the magic that lied within everyone, though most couldn't, but she at least pointed him down the right direction. Morana was invaluable in her counsel, telling Kein everything he needed to know about being a child of the night, but to his regret, after she could teach him all that he knew, she disappeared, not even with a warning.

Kein had learned much over his 500 years and in that time accumulated great wealth. Wealth enough to start a company, and to even help the growth of the town he was now living in. Kein loved this town, it was his child, he had witnessed its very conception, and through anonymous donations over the course of its 150 year existence, it had become a retreat for people to relax, and visit, a perfect habitat for a vampire. For if it weren't then the tales people apparently getting bite marks in the middle of the night would arouse suspicion. And if one thing that Morana had taught him all those years ago to uphold above all else it was this. 'Don't let the world know of our existence.'

Kein lived by it every time he fed. Knowing who the visitor and vacationers, from the locals was a simple matter. He did occasionally find himself in a situation in where he had to feed on a local, but he was able to keep it discreet and unknown. He also made it that he would never kill an innocent that he would feed on, but if he ever ran into a killer or rapist, especially in "his" town, then they would be disposed of accordingly.

A wooden clock hanging above his fire place suddenly went off, telling Kein that the time was 9pm. Picking up his wine glass, he swallowed the remainder of its contents.

"Gugh," he spat, before setting it down, "It's lost its muster." Kein walked over to the studies closed doors and opened them, licking his lips, to get rid of the cold bloods taste. He was greeted later by the homes butler, a male wolf, who was in his early thirties. Standing at 6' 1" he wore a white shirt, along black pants, and a grey vest. It went nicely with his blue fur, and swept back hair.

"AH, Harold going over your rounds?" Kein asked nonchalantly.

"Yes sir, but please sir, call me Mr. Oryx, I don't like being called by my first name," he pleaded to his master.

"Can do, sorry about that," Kein apologized to the wolf, a smile on his lips, "It's just when you live as long as I do, and see so customs come and go, you tend to get a bit confused. I'll try to do better in the future, in the meantime how about get the lab ready?"

"Yes sir, Mr. Ramingston," the wolf said and bowed, "May I suggest where the Lord is going?" he questioned.

"I'm a little famished, I was thinking of going out and getting a bite to drink," Kein smiled at his little pun.

"Well then good luck and be careful," Mr. Oryx wished to his master, "I should have the lab up and ready by the time you return, good night."

With that Mr. Oryx turned and headed towards the stairs, calling for the other servants to come down and be given their proper instructions for the night, being as they worked the night shift, knowing full well that their master was a vampire, and sworn to secrecy. It also helped that they where getting paid very well and that they could leave whenever they wanted to, but where aware that if they did, they would never be able to work in the manor ever again.

Kein strolled down his lawn, which overlooked the town of Raysten, which was named after the only home he ever knew, its lights glistening in the dark and dull drone of cars driving through its streets. With the invention of the car, which Kein remembered all too well; life had become quicker in pace, and even though he used cars when the need arose, he still loved the act of getting to place to place by ones' two feet.

Kein, who's a feline of taste, constantly kept of with the times, always dressing the way society expected for, from a person who looked his age, which most concluded to be twenty-one, or twenty-two. A useful thing to keep a secret such as his, hidden from everyone. Clad in a black buttoned shirt, and vest with golden buttons, and designs, along with a red tie, with a black rose, and baggy pants, the letter R, on his left pant leg, and black iron tipped shoes, he strolled into town. He always caught the eyes of all the women, for having the sex appeal such as his, was nearly irresistible to most females. For residents of the town of Raysten, many recognized him, but only as Kein Ramingston III. A ruse of course to keep his name, and to hide the fact that he was actually "The Kein Ramingston" who helped found the town of Raysten. He even had graves, for his so called mother and father, but of course they where empty, but it didn't matter, it was just a way to remain in this bustling tourist attraction of a town, so that he could feed safely. Eyes from many still following, he simply smiled, as he waltzed into the "Night Owl," one of his favorite pubs, which always had a wide arrange of "interesting" people in it.

(*Bells Ringing*)

"Ah, Kein, nice to see you again, it's been a while," a middle aged white bat male, said from behind a bar table. The bat was Sean Reece, the proprietor of the "Night Owl." His family had been here ever since the founding of Rayston, and for Sean, it would seem for him, and the new born daughter he and his wife, Amyl just had, it would pretty much stay that way for the years to come.

"Good evening Sean," Kein replied back, showing a toothy grin to the white bat, "Seen anything interesting happen while I was gone?"

"Nope can't say I have, unless you count the motorcycle gang that came into town a few days back," he said scowling a bit, "They nearly started a brawl here last night, I had to call the police, and when they showed up, they all jumped on their bikes and off they went."

"Hum...that does seem unpleasant," he spoke, feelings of anger welling in his gut. As he sat at his favorite stool, he tapped his fingers, eliciting a nod from Sean. It was Kein's way to tell him he wanted his favorite drink, and so Sean disappeared to one of his back rooms. Kein looked around, sizing the crowd and the people, as usual the men where enjoying their times, either reading, watching some sports on the tube, or just bantering about their days. As for the women, they kept stealing glances at the dark patron, completely enthralled by his handsomeness. Moments later, Sean reappeared with a bottle.

"Here we are, how about a 1958 Chateau de Lafayette, dusting off the bottle, found it just last month; been saving it for you," he smiled to his Kein. Popping the cork carefully, and pouring just a little bit into a red wine glass, he handed it to Kein, who sloshed it around a bit, before lifting it to his noise and breathing in the smell, and then taking a sip.

"I here it was a good year for the winery, is it to your liking?" he asked quizzically.

"Perfect, as usual Sean, you've read my mind, I'll take it." Not worrying about the price, since Sean long ago knew that Kein was good for it, he took the card already lying on the table, and swiped it through a new computer, registering the $450 dollar fee for the aged wine. Kein poured some more wine, and laid back turning to the front door, enjoying his wine, and the people who walked by, all looking happy and thrilled at having a wonderful night off. Time passed quickly, where Sean kept up with many other drinks, which others had ordered, not giving him much time to talk with Kein, and what he was up to. Kein didn't mind though, he pretty much had all the time in the world to talk to him.

It was only when a woman, cursed out loud from her booth, that Kein slowly turned his bar stool a little to see what was going on. Before him, sat a white furred feline, who looked as if she where drinking what looked to Kein as a bahamama. The look on her face showed that she was not pleased with the drink.

"Hey barkeep," she blurted out, disrupting the good mood, everyone was in, "I don't like this drink, I want my money back," her hand left hand pointing at a half full glass of the drink.

"Sorry madam, I can't do that, but if you want, I can make you another one?" Sean smiled and replied. Kein could clearly sense through his vampiric powers, that his friend was slightly annoyed.

"No, I don't trust you, I know what a bahamama tastes like, and this is "Not" what it is," she ranted. But before she could get another word out, Kein held out his left hand, keeping Sean from giving her a piece of his mind.

"Excuse me for interrupting," Kein spoke softly, "But would you mind if I make it for you, I do have experience in mixing drinks." The white feling, was now blushing, as she realized the handsome black cat, was talking to her. Her cheeks where clearly red, as she blushed a light pink.

"Um...," she quickly gathered her thoughts, "O-okay, that would be fine." She wiggled in her seat some, trying to regain her self control, as Kein got up from his stool and preceded behind the counter.

"Kein," Sean whispered into his ear, as he grabbed the necessary ingredients, "I appreciate what you're doing, but you really don't have to."

Kein stopped just a little bit, and turning to Sean spoke back, "It's no big deal, I just want the others to get back to relaxing, they deserve that much," his hand gesturing to the crowd, all clearly a bit angry at the sudden outburst from the woman. Kein resumed his mixing of the drink, while Sean apparently studied his hand movements, and timed each pour of liquor. Eventually Kein finished the drink, and shaking it inside a steel canister, poured it into one of Sean's hurricane glasses.

"Put it on my tab," Kein told his friend, "And no buts." Sean knew better to argue with Kein, because no matter how many verbal jousts they had played over the years, not once had Sean won, and so card in hand again, Sean punched up not only the white felines drink, but the one Kein had just made, and swiped the card.

Meanwhile, Kein approached the woman who was, now blushing deeper than ever before, "Here we are Miss...?" Kein questioned the white feline.

"Calvert. Sabina Calvert," she nervously said, as Kein took her right hand and kissed her snowy white hand. She was wearing a pink shirt, shirt that was a little tight for her, showing a bit of tummy, and with it, a tight blue jeans, and of course white sneakers. Her eyes where a deep blue, and the only jewelry she wore, was a little cross around her neck.

Kein pulled out of his studying of the woman, as she in turn spoke to him. "Kein, Ramingston...right? I heard the bartender call you that, am I right?" as she took a sip of the drink Kein had made for her. Walking back to where he had sat, Kein grabbed his bottle of wine, and glass, and took a seat across from the woman.

"Yeah, he and I are old friends, I frequent this place from time to time," he smiled to the Sabrina."

"Well I must say, you know what a bahamama is," she grinned, taking more sips, until she only had a third left.

"Well when you've been around as long as I have, you pick up a couple of things," he wasn't exaggerating of course, since Kein was pretty much everywhere when times would change, and when they would fall.

Sabrina pointed to Kein's drink, and asked, "What is that?" he smiled a bit, and told her it was a '1958 Chateau de Lafayette,' and then asked her if she would like a taste. "Oh I'd love to," she chipped in delight.

Getting another wine glass, Kein poured some for her, before sloshing it around like before, and handing it to her. "Before you drink it, take a whiff and tell me if it's to your liking," he instructed her. The white feline was embarrassed a bit, never has done this before, and so was unsure as to what she was doing. All the same she smelled it, and then took a sip.

"Oh...wow, this tastes great," she exclaimed, it didn't take long for her to guzzle the remainder liquor down her throat, where upon she licked her lips clean. Kein in the meantime was a bit perturbed at her attitude, but knew that women and men of this age, simply didn't have any manners, so shoving the thought aside, he poured Sabrina another glass, and opened conversation.

It was two and a half hours later, when Sean reluctantly made final call, where upon, Kein, who was no where near drunk, helped a slightly tipsy Sabrina out from their booth.

"Well Kein, it would sheem that it's time to goes home," she slurring just a bit.

Kein knew very well what came next; since over the course of the conversation the two shared, he had learned she was visiting a friend in town, and would be gone within a week, and that she had rented out a house that was already furnished nearby, since she detested apartments. Kein, seeing that she was the perfect candidate for a fresh meal, widened his eyes a bit, and eyes glowing just a tad, looked into hers, nudging her carnal desires into the direction that he deemed suitable.

Blushing again, Sabrina stammered, "Umm...would you, ugh mind walking me home, I don't think I can get a cab this late at night, and it wouldn't be honorable to let a woman walk home by herself," she winked at him.

"Got you right where I want you," Kein thought, before saying, "It would be a pleasure Miss. Calvert." With that said, Kein helped her up, and saying good night to Sean, walked out of the "Night Owl."

The air was a bit chilly, and few people where out and about at this time of night, but a few minutes later, the two reached Sabrina's house. Using his powers again, Kein nudged the petite feline into kissing him. He gladly accepted, as both their tongues wiggled around in each others mouths, tasting the drinks they had shared, passion burning to the surface, and then suddenly Kein pulled away.

"Sorry...I shouldn't have done that," Kein lied, "I better be going, good night Miss. Calvert," he began to walk away, but didn't get far as, a hand grabbed one of his.

"Wait, why don't you come in, and get warm before you head home, I can put on some coffee, or maybe share a night cap?" she questioned, rubbing her thighs back and forth a bit, a little heat building between her nether regions.

"I wouldn't want to be an intrusion," he replied back.

"You wouldn't be, I promise," she countered, "just a couple of minutes and you can be on your way." She was falling into his plans better than he could hope for.

"If you insist," Kein dolefully replied as she took his hand and pulled him to the front door. Once inside she ran to the kitchen and put some coffee and grabbed a metallic flask from a kitchen drawer. In the meantime Kein simply took a seat on a nearby couch, his eyes wandering over the room. The room was pretty standard, their was a huge closet that had been remodeled to house a TV and DVD system, some laps plastered to look aged while they weren't and the wallpaper a light red color. His thoughts where interrupted as the white feline, Sabrina, plopped herself next to Kein, and handed him a coffee cup, steam billowing from its surface, he next observed her pour a bit of the contents of the flask into the coffee. Afterwards she skittishly presented the flask to Kein.

"It makes a good Irish coffee," she blushed, Kein smiled back and taking the flask poured the same contents within. He watched as she took her coffee and lifting it to her mouth took a sip, he knew perfectly well that whatever she tried to do would be to no avail, but sometimes habits die hard, even when someone has been around for 500 years.

Kein took a sip of the same coffee, and tasted the sweetness that it brought to his tongue, though at the moment he would have much preferred something else, but he had to play the role first. "Umm, now that's good, where did you learn this?" he questioned her.

"My mom introduced me to it on my 21st birthday last year, it caught me by surprise ya know, and since then it's been a bit of a treat for me," she said with pride.

"Well she seems to be a smart woman, you must be proud," he consoled to her.

"Yeah I am, she's the best, but to be honest this is the first time I've ever had anyone over to share this with," she looked a bit embarrassed and nervous. "I don't know what it is about you, but I feel so, well I don't know, jittery; you know?"

"I feel the same," Kein lied, in fact he had played this routine thousands of times, and over these times, he got better and better at it. "I've never really done this with anyone either."

"You can't be serious!" Sabrina semi blurted out, "Someone as handsome as you, the moment I saw you..." she cut off quickly as she realized as to how open she was being with Kein.

"I...I mean," she never got a chance to finish. Kein pulling closer to the whiter feline, breathed his hot breath on her neck, as he gently began kissing it, the woman's reasoning tossed out of the way, only to be consumed by unbridled desire.

Kein worked is way up from Sabrina's next to her cheek, where he nibbled a little bit, her head tilted a bit up, and slight moans escaping her lips. The moans didn't last as her took both hands, and gently taking either side of her face, guided his lips onto her own, their tongues inter mingling again, in a ballet of gently passion. Kein knew he had her where he wanted her, she was completely enthralled with him, and didn't care much, when his left hand slid under her pink shirt, and to her B cup breasts. He was slightly surprised as he noticed that she didn't wear a bra, but he simply chuckled at himself in his head as he thought, "At least it's one obstacle out of my way."

In the meantime, the beautiful feline was not only focusing on his great kissing abilities, but on how to best remove his vest, tie, and shirt as quick as possible. Kein suddenly grabbed both of her hands, and pulling away from the kiss, breathing deeply, said, "Is there somewhere we can go that's more...well, comfortable?" this was in fact not a lie, since he really didn't prefer making love on couches.

Looking at him, loins aching for something to fill it, she nodded, face cheeks red. She simply took his arm, and pulled him in the direction of the bedroom. The room, was sparsely decorated, its wallpaper a deep blue, instead of the living rooms red, there was a drawer, where Kein guessed she kept all her clothing, along with a large mirror, which beyond popular belief "did" show his reflection, and a queen sized bed in the middle, covers nicely put in their place, though they wouldn't for long, as she threw Kein on said bed. Looking up, he smiled as the feline, looked down at him smiling, as she began a little dance. Kein took this opportunity to calmly unbutton his vest and undoing his tie, and before too long was sitting back, watching the little show unfold, his black collared shirt still on.

Sabrina was on fire for him, she didn't know why, nor did she care, she simply wanted him. Swaying her hips around in circular motions, she crisscrossed both arms, a slowly lifted her shirt. She stopped just before she reached her breasts, showing off her tone tummy, eliciting a lick from Kein's lips, as he waited for the next act.

"Oh poor kitty, getting a little frustrated that it's taking to long?" she jokingly said to him. Kein simply nodded, his eyes just lazily looking at the woman. Knowing full well that she was stretching the show a bit, she took the rest of her shirt off and tossed it to a nearby corner, revealing her slender breasts, a perfect fit for a lady of her stature. Kein kept watching, though he as well, slowly undid his buttoned up shirt, making Sabrina impatient as well, as she anticipated what lay underneath it too. She wasn't disappointed as she gazed at the black cat's toned stomach, showing only the slightest signs of abs, his muscles not overly ripped, but enough to cause serious damage to anyone who ever got in his way. Next she witnessed that Kein, had already begun to take off his pants as well. Not wanting to feel left out, she joined in the action as well, though this time, she went a little faster, until the two where only in either their boxers, or panties.

Sabrina felt the twinge of embarrassment, never having ever done anything quite like this, with a person she had met a few hours ago, but God she wanted him so badly. Kein stood up, and approaching her, turned her body around exposing her neck to him. Seeing the cross necklace, he cringed a bit, before carefully undoing its clasp, making sure not to touch the main figure. Holding carefully now, he placed it in what looked like her jewelry box on the drawer near by and closed the lid. Now that was done with, Kein went back to the business at hand, getting those panties of Sabrina.

Kissing her deep again, she moaned in ecstasy, as he worked his way down, to her chest, and then her breasts. He suckled and nibbled on them for quite some times. Making the poor girl groan and even squeak like a mouse, a peculiar trait indeed; his next course of action was her slender belly, where his tongue began to prod her belly button. She never knew how something as trivial as the stimulation of her belly button could feel so good, but Oh it did. Then finally his mouth reached her forbidden depths, hands sliding down to her hips. He gazed wonderfully, as he studied her dripping sex, all swollen and ready to be abused.

"My,My, My" Kein jokingly said to the whimpering feline, "I didn't know you could become so easily aroused?"

"Please don't say that," she begged an embarrassing tone, "I've been like this since we left the pub."

"Oh really now," he teased, knowing full well that she had been wet since then, "Then I won't keep you waiting any longer." With that Kien opened his mouth, and sticking his tongue out, dived into her depths. Her eyes widened as she felt his tongue invade her wet passage. She bucked a little into his mouth as she stood, Kein kneeling of course. She was feeling things she never though possible. While Kein's tongue was exploring her depths, his right hand was caressing her clit, and left, gently kneaded her left ass cheek. Kein even went as far to make his fangs protrude just a bit, and gently scrape against her skin, but not breaking through. It felt more like one scratching an itch, but to Sabrina, it was the best feeling she has ever experienced, as she suddenly bucked wildly into his needy muzzle, juices spraying down his throat. He didn't swallow all of it though, and while Sabrina had never cum some hard in her life, and was loosing her balance, Kein easily caught her, and taking his mouth to her, shared her juices with him.A whole new territory she was going into, as she regained her strength, and standing on her own two feet, she lapped at her mouth.

"That was the best I've ever had," she breathed heavily, Kein just smiling lightly, never saying a word. "I've never tasted myself before, I think you've just found a new kink for me," she said to him before pushing him onto the bed suddenly, and grabbing his boxers, pulled them away in a flash.

She stared in amazement as she looked at him hard member, all eight and a half inches, waiting calmly for her. She couldn't even see a speck of pre cum coming from it, but she knew that wouldn't last long. "I see, you're already this hard for me," she cooed to Kein, "well since you made me feel good, I simply can't let you go without giving you the same benefit." Scooting up to the bed and kneeling, she put her face to his pulsing member, and began licking it, while fondling his balls. Kein didn't throw his head back in ecstasy, but simply looked down at her, as she couldn't resist long, and dove her head down on his member. She picked up speed every time she came up, and Kein was beginning to feel light headed, he was about to cum. Quickly he grabbed her head and stopped her.

"Oh, did I hurt you?" she quickly stated, "I'm sorry if I got carried away, I..." Kien simply put a finger on her lips, and silenced her.

"It's okay, I just don't really like, well cumming, inside a woman's mouth, especially one as beautiful as you," he sofly added, before guiding her to the bed. "If it's alright, I think I'm ready to begin," his eyes flashing just a bit more red than usual to her. She simply nodded, and with Kien lying on his back, as she crawled her slight frame on top of his, and positioned herself over his slick member, juices coating her white thighs, dripping onto his dick.

She lowered herself slowly, and when his head was partially inside her pussy, she pushed a little at a time. Kein never once pushed up into her. He knew that most women liked to take their time, and he wasn't one to rob them of that privilege, it helped make the mood better. Eventually she was completely inside him, face smiling down, and cheeks red.

"Are you ready?" Kein asked softly, feeling her sex tighten just at the sound of his voice. She nodded; sweat slowly creeping up onto her fur, and his. Taking both hands, Kein put them on either side of her hips, and helping lift her up, and his waist pushing down, slowly pumped into her. That simple action, threw her over the edge and into another orgasm. Sabrina had never once experienced sex with a partner who could give her an orgasm from anything, and here she was with a man she just met, who not only made her cum, but twice. She was deeply happy she had met this man. Kein snickered as he felt her inner walls tighten in another orgasm, and reveled as he felt her juices leak down his cock, and onto his balls, making them feel all warm and wet. He quickened the pace, her boobs bouncing slightly, up and down. He eventually pulled himself up, and suckled on them, while holding onto her tight, both bodies desperately trying to become one, more so for Sabrina than Kein though. Each shared more passionate kisses, until Kein changed positions, and had the white feline, on all fours in the doggy style posture. He quickly slammed his hard cock, deep into her dripping pussy, pumping into her fast, and hard, but not so much to make it uncomfortable. Each thrust was beginning to become more pleasurable for both parties, as they continued on. Eventually they neared their climaxes.

"KEIN...I'm gonna cum," Sabrina shouted, her hands digging into the bed sheets, as her ass slapped against Keins waist, his balls sharing the same sentiment.

"Me too, I'm gonna...gonna, ARGH," he growled as he let loose torrents of seed, into her greedy belly, her walls tightening and sucking his dick, as she came with the most ferocity she had ever experienced in her life. But it didn't end there, her pleasure sky rocketed more, as Kein lowering his mouth to her neck, bit into her. She didn't know what he was doing, but God she wished he wouldn't stop.

Though what Kein had been doing the entire evening, was the focus on this one moment in time. Fangs extended as far as they would go, he gently bit into Sabrina's neck, while in the midst of his own orgasm. This action gave greater pleasure not only for her, but for him as well. Kein preferred to feed on the loving whilst in the middle of each others climaxes during sexual intercourse. For the reason being, the person's blood became more concentrated with life and emotion, than any other period of time among the living. Instead of usually killing his victims, which he had done centuries prior during his "younger years," he had discovered that if blood where obtained whilst in the midst of sex, not only was the one being drained of blood receiving greater pleasure, but Kein wouldn't kill them, and as such would still receive the same amount of "Life Force" from them, then if he devoured and killed four people just lying about. As both of their orgasms calmed down, Sabrina fell over, and no sooner was he on the cushions was she out cold, but not only from the immense pleasure she had just received, but from the small amount of blood she had just loss; luckily though the wound was already cartelizing. As for Kein though, he was no where to be seen, nor where any of his clothes. As Sabrina lay in her bed dreaming wonderful dreams, the only other thing left in the bedroom, was a waft of light smoke, going towards a closed window.

Outside the house, a very happy black cat, stared at the stars, clad in all his clothing, each one looking neat, with no wrinkles. Pulling out a watch he kept on a chain, connected to his belt loop, he read the time, 4am. The night was nearly over, and he was pretty much full from his meal. So with that, Kein began the trek back to his house, humming a song, he had once learned while being a surf, all those years ago.

"HELP...(*Pant, Pant*)...Somebody HELP ME!!" a female's voice could be heard near by. Kein simply walked, and from around a corner, he observed a beautiful red and white vixen with short black hair, laced with red, wearing baggy black pants and a tight yellow shirt, round a nearby corner. She was running on the same sidewalk Kein was, and seeing him screamed towards his direction.

"YOU, PLEASE... HELP ME, two guys... Are chasing me," she shouted towards Kein, still running. Kein didn't reply, he simply kept walking, and soon later noticed to large men, one a big black wolf, and the other a large gray mouse, round the corner. Each where wearing black leather jackets, and blue jeans, they where both very muscular, and on the back of their jackets they had a black coffin with a white cross on it, with two black angel wings coming out from each side. The jackets read, "The Diggers" and true to its inscription, the two he was watching chase the vixen, looked as if they had just recently gotten out of the dirt.

"Come here, you little Bitch, you think you can just lead us on like that, only to run away," the large black wolf yelled out to her, as she was nearing Kein's location.

"Please mister, help me," she yelled again at Kein, but he never returned the words, he simply kept walking. "SON of a Bitch, will no one..." she had just ran past Kein, and was about to finish her sentence, when she saw something round and furry fall from the sky. On closer examination, she realized with horror, it was the black wolf's head, it's mouth in wide with shock, eyes zipping back and forth a bit, as what little life it still had died away. Spinning around she saw the black cat she had begged for help, simply stand in front of the large biker mouse, his friends headless body lying on the ground, twitching just a bit.

"Insolent Mortal!" Kein bellowed at he horrified biker, "You think you can come to MY TOWN, and proceed to terrorize everyone; YOU DISGUST ME!!" The biker was now completely frozen on the spot, and had clearly pissed his pants.

"What...What the FUCK are you man," he shouted out in fear, "Why do you care?"

Suddenly Kein was upon him, his right hand stretched out, and like butter sliced through the bikers left hand that he pulled up for protection. The biker screamed out in pain, the helpless vixen watching everything unfold before her eyes, shocked to her very core. Cradling in missing arm, the barker fell to the ground and looked at his soon to be executioner. With eyes burning like the fires of hell, and fangs bared Kein smiled.

"I'm Nosferatu, but your generation calls me "Vampire," with that said, Kein lunged at the biker, his hand going through his chest, ribs, and heart, just like Morana did all those years ago, but this time with the added effect of his fangs chomping down on the neck of his prey, blood gushing into the sky as he drank his kill. Once done, Kein let the body slide to the ground. Remarkably he didn't have a speck of blood on him; as this was one of the many talents a vampire his age possesed. Turning toward the vixen, his fangs still drawn, and eyes red, he looked deeply into her eyes, and suddenly felt something, something he couldn't describe, but it still, it felt sooo familiar. As he stared at her, the vixen keeled over, and fainted.

Kein, turning back to normal, pulled out a phone and dialed home. Moments later came a voice, "Ramingston resident," the voice of Mr. Harold Oryx, the manors butler on the other end said.

"Harold," Kein said into the phone, "Get a location fix on my position, and send a clean up crew, I seem to have made a mess," the black feline calmly said into the phone as if it where nothing.

"Oh, ugh...yes right away sir, and please don't call me Harold," the butler said before hanging up. Kein didn't pay much mind to Harold's comment; he was too preoccupied on what he was going to do with this strange vixen. As he approached her, he noticed a deep bruise on her left cheek, not to mention the strange feeling his body felt as he neared her more. Picking her up, he decided with beyond all logic and reasoning, that he would take her home with him, and ascertain this mystery himself.
