#69 of Iron Dragon

The three dragons watched as the mountain tumbled down, crushing the portable offices and equipment like toys. Filling in the crater from the Velopian explosives. Hopefully entombing the body of the fallen dragon forever.

However... as Nodrog knew oh so well, forever is not very long. They found him, despite his sentence. The three hung in the air, effortlessly like clouds. Only those gifted with the ability to see magic, could find them.

"I hope with this, she can rest peacefully." Inilth said and bowed his head.

"Indeed. I thank you for the assistance in the matter." Nodrog said.

Dallarth changed form and reached into her cloak pocket. She pulled out a folded cloth and handed it to Nodrog as she spoke. "Give this to Roslyn. It is the mirror spell to reach me at home."

Nodrog changed and put the cloth in his shirt pocket with his phone. "I will. She wants to return to the Amazon world for a day; to learn more about the sword and who she used to be."

"Alyvia had mentioned the honor the Valkyrie was given. It has occurred to me, that you have managed to accomplish a great deal... with little involvement Nodrog." Inilth said with a stone tooth smile.

"It might seem that way. However, Roslyn and Sherman always had that inside of them. From their very first breath in this life, they have always been different, destined for more." Nodrog chuckled. "My presence only sped up the process."

"How do you know that?" Dallarth asked.

"The first time I met Sherman, I knew he was not fully human. Fighting Sherman I felt that ignition, that spark of him waking up. Roslyn I sensed something more when I walked into the cell they held her in. Roslyn does not know it but she had started to change when they shot her down. There was a tangible presence in that cell with her." Nodrog said.

"How do you explain Jenny getting an Amazon honor?" Dallarth teased with a coy smile.

"She did that all on her own. My only involvement with that, was being her master." Nodrog said.

"Until we see you again." Inilth said.

"Take care." Nodrog said. After they vanished he returned home. Roslyn had wanted him to teach her how to summon the shadow monsters. So that she would have the freedom to travel as she once had.

While Nodrog remained on Earth, Roslyn stepped through the female shadow into a bright room inside the Amazon palace. The woman guarding the room and checking travelers in, bowed as Roslyn walked over to her. She had the Queen's Blade with her, because she wanted to learn more about it.

"I hope I am not intruding, but I was hoping to speak with one of the Coral's about some things." Roslyn said as she pulled the lovely feather quill from the ink it sat in.

"I will call and see if one of them is free." The woman said and walked a short distance to what Roslyn figured was a palace phone. A short conversation and the woman returned.

"You are in luck all three are just finishing lunch out in the garden. If you follow this hall to your right, it will take you right to them." The woman said.

"Thank you." Roslyn said with a smile and headed down the hall. She had changed into her usual blue jeans and boots with a button up men's style work shirt. Her more feminine dress had gotten more attention then she would have thought. Being her third trip to this world, Roslyn felt comfortable here. While it was a very warrior dominate society, everyone was respectful and helpful.

The few staff she passed all bowed slightly and addressed her by name. "I don't know if I will ever get used to that." Roslyn said mainly to herself as she stepped out into the bright sunlight of the garden. Many of the flowers looked familiar, but they were substantially larger, just like the women and animals.

Roslyn was a little surprised by the German Sheppard sized corgi that came running over to greet her enthusiastically. The dog was proportioned the same as the small dog on earth, it still had stumpy legs for its body mass. This one simply stood the same height at the shoulder as one of the larger dog breeds back on earth. This was the first time a corgi nearly knocked her over. It was frightening and adorable at the same time. If a small dog was this big, Roslyn was not sure if she wanted to run into any large breeds. "You certainly are friendly."

"Zidane, down." Dagger said and tugged on the large dog's collar. The giant corgi gave into the young woman's commands. "To what to we owe the honor of your visit?"

Roslyn followed Dagger and Zidane the giant corgi over to Beatrice and Freya. "I would like to know more about the Queen's Blade and myself if that is possible."

"What would you like to know about the sword?" Freya asked as Zidane nudged her leg with his head. Most likely in hopes of any lunch she was not going to finish.

"Things like when it is and is not, acceptable to wear it. Is it strictly ceremonial..." Roslyn said and sat down with them.

Beatrice laughed. "Basically everything."

"Yes. I feel foolish for having this highly revered honor and knowing so little about it." Roslyn said.

"I can see where you are coming from. Freya and I have some things we need to see to. Dagger would you please take Roslyn to the library and answer any questions she has? I am sure your students will be honored to meet her." Beatrice said.

"I would be honored as I am sure they will be. If you will follow me." Dagger stood up and patted her thigh. "Zidane, heal. I am sure my mother and sister can manage without your help. Plus you had plenty of lunch."

The giant corgi barked once and happily scampered off after Dagger and Roslyn. Roslyn chuckled as the big, short legged dog danced around them as they walked.

"He is still a puppy, so forgive his lack of following commands." Dagger said.

Roslyn's eyes widened. "You mean he still has some growing to do?"

Dagger smiled. "Not much, maybe this much more." Dagger held her hands roughly a foot apart. Things like height, weight and other measurements were hard to translate. Mainly because they were so subjective, since smaller units were based on anatomy.

"I wonder how one of your pets would fair on my world. We have a dog that looks incredibly similar but is not even half as big." Roslyn said.

"I have wondered the same. Unfortunately we have to have very strict laws pertaining to bringing new species to our world. With the higher oxygen levels, some animal or plant species could overcome the native ones at an alarming rate." Dagger said.

"Poor Zidane might have a hard time back home with less air." Roslyn said and pet the dog when he came close from the mention of his name. "I never gave it a thought, but what about illness or disease?"

"That has been a slight problem, but thankfully is caught rather quickly. You have no need to worry about it since you are more monster than normal. We just take a few extra herbs and vitamins to ward off most things." Dagger said.

"You are well versed in a number of subjects. I am glad you can spare some time to teach me." Roslyn said with a smile. Dagger blushed slightly from her praise.

"One should never stop learning." Dagger greeted the men working at the desk politely.

Roslyn was a little surprised how quickly they bowed their heads. Except the youngest of the group, his eyes followed them a little longer than the others. One of the older men quickly reminded him of his place with a slap to the back of his head. She managed not to show any reaction as she followed Dagger further into the rather large library.

If not for the role reversal, Roslyn could be in any college or public library back home. It was well lit and quiet, aside from the giant corgi's panting. Roslyn was introduced to a small group of young girl's under Dagger's tutorage. Palace guards were chosen at a young age and groomed for much of their teenage years for it.

Dagger and Roslyn walked side by side, the girls followed the two of them. The giant corgi doing his best to get anyone to pet him, or give him food. Dagger asking the occasional question about the highest honor the Amazon culture had; and explaining things in more depth, after the girls had a chance to answer her.

"This book holds the names of everyone who receives the top five of our highest achievements and honors. We keep track of every medal and award we give, Jenny and Mianth are in another book." Dagger said and opened the large and ancient tomb.

Thanks to her unique transformation, Roslyn could read the text. One of the girls explained that the Queen's blade was named the highest honor a women could receive during the unification of the tribes four hundred years ago.

Roslyn half paid attention to the history lesson as she read the names of each woman before her. In all those years, she was only the eleventh woman to be awarded it. Even more shocking, according to the text, Roslyn was only the third living woman to be given the Queen's blade. The others all received it postmortem...

"Is everything alright?" One of the young women asked.

Roslyn looked at them. "I am sorry. Your mot... Queen Coral told me I was in a small sorority... I did not know most of the women who received it, had perished."

"Do humans not have a distinguished honor that is usually given to those who give everything?" One of the young women asked.

"We do have one... This sword and the medals I was given for acts of valor when I was younger... I only did what needed to be done." Roslyn found it hard to accept an award for doing her job, or just losing her temper.

"You question if you really deserve them." Dagger said quietly.

"In some ways I suppose I do. I question if there was something different I could have done. If I should have acted sooner, or acted at all. Everyone tells me I did the right thing, but I just don't know..." Roslyn said and turned away from the book.

"My grandmother would say that your doubt proves you deserve them." The shortest and youngest of the girls said and stepped forward.

Roslyn did not know how old the girl was, but give her cat ears and a tail, and she could be Jenny's twin sister. "How does my confusion prove I deserve them?"

"It shows that you were genuinely concerned for those around you. That even a single loss is unacceptable." The young girl said.

"What happened?" One of the girls asked.

Roslyn looked out the large windows. "I failed to protect two unarmed nurses after the plane I was flying was shot down. It was their first deployment on what was supposed to be only a medical aid mission. They were shot and killed while myself and my three crew members were engaged with the enemy in a fire fight. If we had surrendered they might have lived..."

"Or all of you could have been killed." Dagger said.

"Or that could have happened. The three other nurses and two doctors survived. They thanked me endlessly for saving them, as did my crew. The two I failed, I will never forget them or forgive myself for not doing more." Roslyn hung her head. "I put flowers on their graves every year, and apologize for not keeping my promise."

"Is that why you stood your ground against Glados?" One of the girls asked.

Roslyn laughed. "No, there was no noble intentions or trying to atone for past mistakes."

"Then why did you?" Dagger asked.

"Revenge. Eye for an eye, blood for blood. Glados killed everyone I had held dear. All I wanted was to make her pay." Roslyn said.

The rest of the time spent with Dagger and the young girls was enjoyable. Roslyn learned a great deal from them and they learned a little from her. There was plenty of myth about her previous life in very old texts in the library. Roslyn managed to piece together more with the help of the sometimes grossly exaggerated texts. However she did not try to correct any of them. Along with apparently always being the subject of many people's admiration, she was always a badass. Roslyn was a little surprised to see Jenny walking over to them.

"What are you doing here?" Roslyn asked.

"Nodrog sent me. Something to do about you and Sherman." Jenny said and was equally surprised by the giant corgi as Roslyn was. The fur on her tail and ears fluffing out in surprise.

"I had forgotten about it." Roslyn said.

"I don't see how you can let that dragon order you around." One of the girls said.

Jenny blushed. "Actually, he never orders me to do anything. I am only collared because that is a monster law he cannot ignore. He asked if I would come and look for Roslyn."

"I want to thank all of you for taking the time to teach me more about your culture and the honor that you have given me." Roslyn said.

They said good bye and Roslyn followed Jenny back to the room both of them had arrived at. Either Jenny had an incredible sense of direction, or the collar also acted as a magic compass.

"Hello Azule. Would you please take us to Nodrog?" Jenny asked as the familiar to her shadow greeted them with his usual wave.

"Where are we going?" Roslyn said as she followed Jenny.

"To the Hunter's training grounds." Jenny said as they stepped through the shadow. "Thank you Azule."

The shadow waved goodbye and Jenny picked up a backpack Nodrog had left for her in the traveler's room on the elf world. Jenny signed the two of them in with her less than neat penmanship. "Nodrog had told me not to bring up the fight if you were with anyone. He also made me get your gym clothes."

Roslyn laughed. "That sneaky metal ass... I appreciate that since I don't want to ruin this shirt."

After a little bit Roslyn added. "Are you the only one that came with them?"

Jenny smiled. "Just Nodrog, Sherman and me. I am to take you to the women's locker room so you can change. I do have athletic tape if you want to tape your hands or ankles."

"Well aren't you a thoughtful little kitten." Roslyn said and smiled.

"I try. I wasn't sure which pair of sneakers were your gym ones, so I grabbed both." Jenny said as she held open a door for Roslyn.

As Roslyn changed she noticed Jenny was trying to hide her enjoyment of watching her change. While Jenny's face hid her enjoyment rather well, the kitten's tail was a dead giveaway as the tip flicked back and forth. Having webbed fingers, Roslyn wrapped her hands. Tearing the webbing hurt like a son of a bitch. She was also wearing two sports bras to keep her tits front and center. That with her tank top at least would keep her nipples from showing in the cool air.

As they met Nodrog, Sherman and a few elves. Roslyn kept the amusement to herself that Jenny was more disappointed in her lack of high beams then the boys. Jenny and a few of the female elves were noticeably cold.

Sherman was only in a pair of shorts. Roslyn smiled slightly as she eyed the well muscled and handsome wolf. She had always been a sucker for good solid arms and six pack abs. However Roslyn was not a fan of an over groomed man. A little scruff and messy hair were far sexier than an man who spent more time on his looks than a woman. Sherman cleaned up good, but still had enough scruff to him, she found him very handsome. Samantha was a lucky girl, Roslyn thought.

The training hall looked more oriental than fantasy. They were in a stone castle, but this rather large room had only wooden fixtures with woven grass mats on the floor and walls. Magic lanterns provided good natural light. Nightrunner was present and was currently talking with Sherman.

"Does this facility suit you?" Nodrog asked as he looked in Roslyn's eyes.

"Indeed it does. Thanks for sending Jenny, I was not paying attention to the time." Roslyn said with her coy little smile.

"Are you sure about this?" Nightrunner asked Sherman quietly.

"Not really. I did say this was her idea." Sherman said and chuckled.

Sherman waited as Roslyn was given the same brief little over view of the rules pertaining to the match, and that powerful magic would keep anything they did, contained. Only a person with the raw physical and magical power of Nodrog could break it. Considering Nodrog's power was boosting the Elves' magic, neither of them could hope to break through it.

With everything set the others stood back, leaving Roslyn and Sherman out on the floor alone. Ten feet separated them. Sherman placed his hands together and bowed slightly at the waist. "You asked for a fight so that's what you are going to get."

Roslyn spread her feet and centered herself in a fighting stance. "I wouldn't want you to go easy on me."

Sherman took a slow breath in as he took his own stance. He was bigger and stronger, but she would be quicker and more agile. He stepped to his right as she moved first, her shorter fur did little to hide her muscles and as her leg muscles tensed up, Sherman knew she was going to charge. He concentrated on her body mechanics and prepared for a kick as her opening move.

Roslyn brought her heal quickly around and made solid contact with Sherman's lower ribs. She wondered why he had let her get in a hit, until he brought his arm down and under her leg. He twisted his wrist so the back of his hand was touching her thigh. Pinning her leg at an uncomfortable angle and leaving her virtually defenseless, within his reach.

Feeling her center of gravity change along with the finer movements of her leg muscles, Sherman knew what she was doing nearly as she thought it. He let go of her leg and stepped back causing her second kick to miss and Roslyn to lose her balance. He said he wouldn't hold back; and Roslyn let out a grunt as his open palm struck her side, knocking her a few feet away.

Roslyn quickly rolled a little further away and got back on her feet. Sherman maintained his stance and waited for her to regain hers before quickly lunging at her. As she narrowly avoided his giant furry fist Roslyn knew he was taking this seriously. Something Dagger had not done until Roslyn had gotten in a couple of good solid hits.

Sherman winced as he took one of her solid punches to his stomach. His own fist made contact with her abs, lifting the otter off the ground and back several feet. That's when he felt a change in her. Roslyn clenched her fist and looked at him with her eye's aglow. "Don't." Sherman said and Roslyn charged at him with incredible speed.

Roslyn leapt at him, Sherman reached out grabbed her shirt and spun around using Roslyn's momentum to carry her past him and into the ground once more with a bone jarring thud.

Jenny winced as Roslyn's body bounced off the grass mats. The otter quickly rebounding onto her feet in a crouch inside Sherman's reach. Jenny watched as Roslyn rolled back and drove her feet up into the wolf's jaw like she had done in Jim's shop.

Sherman's head snapped back as her feet made good contact with his jaw. At least this time he did not bite his tongue. Roslyn had quickly moved outside of his reach and reached up to wipe the blood from her mouth. That last hit to the floor had to have hurt Sherman thought. He had to keep his cool, ignore her glowing eyes and focus on her body.

Sherman raised an eyebrow as Roslyn decided to use magic and keep him at range. He dodged the first few electric bolts and the couple that did hit him; at least they were not incapacitating like a stun gun... Kinda like getting shocked by a wall outlet, painful but not threatening at the moment.

Roslyn's magic was narrow and focused. She and several others had to move to avoid Sherman's fire magic. She didn't expect him to try and roast her ass as she dodged again. Then she noticed he wasn't trying to actually hit her, he was using the flames to get closer and Roslyn crossed her arms to block the punch that came out of the third flame.

Sherman knocked Roslyn back and kept on charging, eventually knocking her down. Roslyn just barely rolled out of the way as the wolf's fist slammed into the woven mat. The fairly deep impression in the thick mat telling her, he was not screwing around. That would have knocked the wind out of her, ending the fight.

Sherman howled as Roslyn got her heel around hard enough to break or fracture the radius or ulna in his forearm... He never could keep them straight, didn't matter because it fucking hurt. Sherman stood up slowly, taking a slow and deep breath.

"Had enough?" Roslyn asked with genuine concern. She felt something in his arm give when she kicked him.

Sherman held up his arm and examined it while keeping Roslyn in his field of vision. His healing already done enough repair it was a dull ache. "We have only just gotten warmed up."

Roslyn back pedaled as he charged her. She knew he could heal from anything fairly quickly, but not this quick. In fact he quickly overpowered her and as she had figured, his main objective was to get her in some kind of grapple or hold. Roslyn was pinned on her knees with his solid arms wrapped in a way to keep her from attacking.

As Roslyn struggled she could feel his semi aroused member against her back. The hold was tight enough her wings were pinched and she was feeling a little light headed. It was not a choke hold, neither arm was around her neck, between his tight hold and her larger bust, it was hard to breath.

Sherman instantly loosened his hold when Roslyn went limp. He carefully laid her down and relaxed as her breathing returned to normal. Sherman sat down as Jenny and one of the female elves ran over to check on Roslyn.

Chapter.

Roslyn woke up in her apartment of all places. Unlike the other time she woke up in a room after someone teleported her there, she was not naked. She sat up and looked over at the door as someone spoke.

"That was not the outcome I was expecting." Nodrog said with his single tooth smirk. He walked over to the bed and leaned on it. "How are you feeling?"

"Good, a little sore but not too bad considering." Roslyn said.

"Good. Want me to go get you some dinner while you shower?" Nodrog asked as Roslyn got up and started unwrapping her hands.

"Is it that late?" Roslyn asked and glanced down at her broken watch.

"Little after seven." Nodrog said and put his arms around her waist. She let out a soft sigh as he kissed the back of her neck. "Or would you like a more personal examination?"

"There are a few spots I am sure you could make feel better..." Roslyn said as their eyes met in the bathroom mirror. Even with their previous relationship, Roslyn could never really pin down what about him made her want him. She let him undress her, those cobalt eyes taking in every bit of her lovely body.

Roslyn stepped into the shower and got the water running. He gave her a little time to let the hot water soak her sore muscles before joining. She moaned and whimpered softly as his hands rubbed her sore shoulders and back, loosening and relaxing the tight muscles.

With the knots and tension melted away with the hot water and his wonderful care, Roslyn felt much better. She sucked in a quick breath as his hand ran down her abs and the hard scales on his fingers teased her clit. Roslyn leaned against the shower wall with her forearms, her back arched as the hot water sprayed down on them. His fingers teasing her, with a slightly frustrating lack of deeper penetration. "Oh you ass quit teasing..."

A shiver went up Roslyn's spine as his teeth raked through her fur between her shoulder blades and wings. She smiled and moaned as his fingers finally went deeper the scales working their fun little sensations on just the right spot. Her legs went weak and she rested her head against the shower tiles as she came.

Before Roslyn recovered he turned her around and picking her up pinned her against the shower wall. Roslyn wrapped her legs around his waist and moaned as he put the tip of his water slicked member between her lips and pushed inside. Roslyn looked into his eyes and moaned softly as the tip of his tail teased her ass, ever so slowly pushing inside.

She laid her head against the wall as he held her with one arm around her waist and held her left hand above her head in his right. Roslyn moaned as he kissed her neck as he pinned her to the wall fucking her in the steamy shower. Her legs were already weak from her first climax, with the water running down them both it was hard to hold onto him.

Not that she needed to support herself since he held her in a tight and loving embrace. He always made sure she could relax and enjoy everything he did to her. Never asking for anything in return. As she put her arms around his neck squeezing with her arms and legs as she came a second time, Roslyn would now admit she did love him.

She shivered from the change in water temp and from the after effects of her orgasm. The two of them chuckled as he reached over to turn up the temp as she managed to get her legs under her once more.

Roslyn washed up as he went and got her something from the cafeteria to eat for dinner. After she ate dinner Roslyn sat on his lap on the couch. They watched sports highlights and drank beer.

Most had gotten used to Roslyn's wings, but her new brighter outlook was taking a little longer to get used too. She had always been feisty, now it was a little more noticeable. After the week long trip to the orient, things got back to business as usual. Most noticed the otter and dragon spending more time together. Which a few had commented on. And a few women were a little disappointed it seemed that Roslyn was the dragon's flame. Alice, Jenny and Nodrog had hidden their complex relationship from everyone. Too many it just seemed Nodrog had finally grown accustomed to this era and opened up finally to other people.

The dig teams were out in the field. Sherman and Nodrog remained on base to oversee numerous projects and dealing with alien visitors. As summer got into full swing there were a few incidents evolving humans and off worlders. Thankfully nothing serious or fatal. Most could be classified as miscommunication or cultural differences. The Velopians and Elves had a small group that were living on earth for many reasons.

Alice took first in every race she entered. Carly taking first in every race or event she entered and did not have to compete against Alice. The competition had stepped up to challenge the two female drivers. Alice and Carly fought hard for every win they got. Some were a little sad the little red Lotus had been retired and the Viper took center stage.

It was late August when Beatrice Coral stepped off the Amazon ship onto the tarmac of Evo Inc. The tall woman took in the facility as she, one body guard and assistant walked over to a small cart.

"Good afternoon." Jenny said with a smile as she stood up.

"I had expected you to be out working." Beatrice said as she gave the small kitten a hug.

"We just got back into town yesterday. I have been nominated Mr. October's unofficial off world translator." Jenny said as they got on the cart.

"This is quite the facility he has here. Almost like an industrial palace of sorts." Beatrice said as Jenny drove them over to the large main building.

"That would be a good description. More than one hundred people live and work here. Mr. October lives in the penthouse at the very top of the building. Our main medical and archaeological facilities are housed here. The main weapons and defense division is further away from populated areas." Jenny said and pulled under the covered building entrance. She glanced at her watch as they walked into the cool building.

"Are we early?" Beatrice asked.

"No ma'am. Mr. October is in a meeting and asked that I show you around and answer any questions I can, until the meeting is over. Unless it runs long, we have forty minutes." Jenny said.

"That sounds nice." Beatrice was pleased to see the little kitten had the silver arrow still in her ear.

Jenny showed them the major points of the facility. She managed to show them enough that when they arrived up at Marko's office, they had done a lot of walking. Which showed how good of shape even lowly assistants on the Amazon world were since none of them were out of breath, despite the lower oxygen level.

Jenny introduced them to Marko, Kitty, Catlin and Tabbatha. Lilith had shown her how to work the magic totem that translated everything but draconic. Jenny was fully comfortable around Marko once more. Now that she remembered how kind he was to her when she was little. He was nearly as tall as Beatrice and Jenny thought he might be just as strong.

The topics were rather varied and wide in scope. From political to how much Marko cared about his employees. Jenny was impressed with how well Marko could adjust his mannerisms and tone of voice to be courteous and respectful to anyone. Since in Beatrice's eyes being a man, he would be inferior.

Beatrice's assistant picked up one of the magazines he had sitting on the table. Jenny recognized it as last month's race car issue, since Alice and Carly were standing in front of their cars.

"Interesting, what is it about?" Beatrice asked as the girl handed her the magazine.

"The head line reads 'Are they unstoppable?'. The mouse on the left is my wife Alice and the other woman is her friend Carly. So far they have taken first at every event they enter in." Jenny said and blushed as she realized she had interrupted Marko. "Sorry about that sir, you know how I get."

Marko just chuckled. "We all know how proud of Alice you are. Alice works with Jenny in the archaeological division as a forensic scientist. I am rather proud of the fact one of the best race car drivers happens to be the best artifact scientist I have."

"What are you thinking ma'am?" Her assistant asked.

"I think we found our first export and import." Beatrice said.

Marko chuckled. "Of all the things that have crossed my mind that might be interesting to other sentient beings. Motor sports was not one of them."

"It would take a great deal of planning, but I think this is something nearly everyone could get behind. Amazons are not the only highly competitive race out there." Beatrice said and flipped to the article. She could not read it, but the pictures of the two women made it clear they were the best female drivers on this world. "I know we have many things to discuss, but seeing how long I will be here. Can you arrange for us to meet them?"

"I am sure I can arrange that." Marko got out a pad and pen to write down a few things. It was Alice who started all of this when she found Nodrog on accident. It all snowballed after that quite quickly. If not for Alice, none of the events in the last year would have happened.

Carly and her team manager were waiting with Alice and Ron in one of the meeting rooms on site. It was the last day the Amazons would be here after four days of talks not just with Marko, but other leaders as well. Needless to say the four of them were speechless as the over seven foot tall woman entered the room. The former queen even in more casual attire was an imposing figure.

Marko introduced them to the former Queen. Jenny had gotten the totem working once more so they could talk freely, without her having to repeat everything, everyone said.

Beatrice held out the magazine which the two women were on the cover of. "Thanks to Jenny, I was able to read the entire article. I have a little proposal for the two of you... Actually an invitation. I would like the two of you to come to my world along with women drivers from other worlds for a race."

Carly looked at the magazine that claimed she and Alice were unbeatable. Alice had told her about the strange things that have happened after she found the dragon. Could she pass up what would possibly be the biggest opportunity of her career?

"We have discussed the logistics such an event would have. The retrofit on my space ship has been completed and the ship has made several trips already. Carly and Alice, if you want to go. I will cover all of the expenses, including paying your race teams." Marko said.

Alice looked at Carly. "I say we go."

"I would never forgive myself if I passed this up." Carly said.

Beatrice beamed with excitement. "Excellent. I promise it will be something no one will forget. I will send you all the information on the facility and planet that will help you prepare."

"I never could have imagined how far things would go when I belted you into a cart for the first time." Ron said and gave Alice a hug.

"Turns out that not even the sky is a limit for the two of you." Marko chuckled.

Just as she promised, a several inch thick stack of information arrived a week after her visit. It took Jenny and Nodrog nearly two days to translate the text. Alice smiled as she dropped the notes down on Little Joe's desk.

"What is this for?" Little Joe asked as he picked it up and thumbed through it.

Alice handed the Viper's key to DJ. "Those are all the notes you should need to prep the Viper for a race.

DJ looked down at the key. "There is not a track on this world, the car needs tuned for."

Alice's smile grew. "I never said the race was on this world. Carly and I have been invited to a race on another planet altogether. And you are coming with me."

"No shit! We really get to fly on a space ship to another world!" TJ nearly screamed with excitement.

"How many of us are you talking?" Joe asked as he leaned against Little Joe's desk.

"I need a full pit crew. My dad will crew chief, and Little Joe will need to come along to tune the cars." Alice said.

"And we need to go!" The twins yelled excitedly.

"We are going to need a truck load of parts, then there are tires." Little Joe said.

"Mike convinced his sponsor to send a truck with enough tires for both cars. Mr. October will let us take the fabrication truck and will send a tanker truck with diesel and race fuel." Alice said.

Little Joe leaned back. "We are going to have to gut the car and make it one hundred percent Grand Prix race car."

"I know. Trust me, it will be worth it." Alice said.

"Alice, can I speak with you alone?" Joe said and walked out of the little office Little Joe had. While the twins and Little Joe started making plans with excitement unbound.

Alice followed Joe out of the shop into the back lot where they kept cars. "What's on your mind?"

Joe scratched his chin as he gathered his thoughts. "Alice, I am happy for you... I want to help, but I can't afford to do this. The work that will be put on hold why they are gone."

"I figured that is what this was about." Alice said.

"So you understand?" Joe asked.

"Actually, that was also discussed. You will be paid, for everything. Their salaries, will be covered. Parts, labor everything will be paid for. Joe, I have to have the best and we both know there is no one better than your staff." Alice said.

"Alice, I know you make decent money, but not millions. And you are right, no one has better than I have." Joe said.

Alice put her hand on Joe's shoulder. "Joe, my boss is going to cover all of the expenses for both teams. You just have to trust me."

"I do trust you... But this is hard. I am just dumb mechanic after all." Joe said.

Alice smiled. "Yeah and I am just a punk girl with a heavy right foot. Don't make me ask with big teary doe eyes. I'll do it."

Joe looked down at her. "No, don't do the sad eyes thing. I'll do it."

Alice laughed. "I got one more thing for you."

Joe followed Alice to the car that the twins and Little Joe had already pulled into the shop. Alice opened the passenger door and pulled out a brief case and handed it to Joe. "What's in here?"

"One hundred thousand dollars, cash. Its for parts and labor." Alice said with a smile.

"You really are going to race aliens on another world?" Big Joe asked.

"Of course." Alice said.

"How long do we have?" Little Joe asked.

Alice tapped her index finger on her arm as she tried to figure out the time difference. "Two or three months."

"Hell we don't need that long." DJ said with a smile.

"That's why all of you are the best. I need to get going. Jenny has a doctor's appointment I need to meet her for." Alice said.

"I hope everything is okay." Katie said as she walked into the shop from out front.

"We found a donor, this is for the actual procedure." Alice said and smiled.

"Oh well that is good news." Katie said and gave Alice a hug while it took the others a little longer to figure out what Alice was talking about. Katie was a little embarrassed about explaining what procedure Jenny was having to the men and women in their shop.

"Is everyone on board?" Jenny asked as Alice sat down next to her in the waiting room.

"Of course, the twins can't wait to go." Alice took hold of Jenny's hand. "Are you nervous?"

"Of course I am. Some stranger is going to put weird things in my privates." Jenny said.

"Because that did not happen in college?" Alice teased.

Jenny only blushed. "Okay, you got me there. I am kinda excited about the next chapter in our lives."

"So am I." Alice said. They were finally called back to see the female doctor who would be performing the rather simple procedure. Alice held Jenny's hand during and after the slightly uncomfortable process. She thought it odd that Jenny got embarrassed when the good looking doctor went between her legs. Since Jenny usually had no qualms about getting naked around pretty women.

They had met and talked to the mouse anthro who was going to be the baby's biological father. Turned out the handsome man was gay and did not mind being the father for a lesbian couple. Jenny had spent hours looking for someone with similar genetic makeup as Alice. He could have passed as her brother their fur coloring and height matched so close.

While not perfect, he had nearly the same hair and eye color as Alice. He also held two masters degrees and liked motor sports. Obsessive was not a strong enough term to describe the way Jenny took to the task. Granted it was a rather important decision in their lives to take it too lightly either.

After laying on the examination table with her feet in stirrups for an uncomfortable amount of time, ten minutes. Jenny could get dressed and they could leave. Her earlier examination found she did not have the same problem as her mother, so she should not have to come in for a second procedure.

Alice and Jenny went out to do a little shopping and go on a date. It had been a while since the two of them had a free day to spend with each other. They had a lengthy talk with Nodrog on the matter and they all agreed it would be a good idea for him to move out. It freed up the second bedroom for the baby and kept people from suspecting anything about the three of them.

It was not an easy decision to make, but the timing worked out rather well since Roslyn had become more attached to him. Making the hard decision not as hard and more fluid. Plus Roslyn certainly was not going to complain about sharing her apartment with him.

Jenny was still his blood slave and the two of them could talk to him telepathically. And he could teleport, so if the three of them wanted to have a little fun, no one would know he was there. Since he owned so little it did not take long to get moved. His bed was bigger than Roslyn's and supported his weight better. Roslyn put her old bed in the trash, it was old and a little worn out.

The first week was the hardest, but slowly Alice and Jenny got back into their old habits. Roslyn did not have it as easy as she thought, since she never had a roommate before. Plus since he did not sleep, she had to get used to falling asleep with the lights on in the living room. Having the coffee already going in the morning was a nice perk, as was the before work sex.

Since they had been so close, so long ago, some habits came back around. He was an iron dragon back then, so his diet was easy to deal with. Simply being together again did a lot for their spirits. For the first time in a long time, life for the dragon and the Valkyrie was going well.

Jenny had a follow up examination at the tail end of September, and it was determined the artificial insemination worked, she was going to be a mom. That made Alice's parents very excited and just as Jenny thought, angered her father to no end. It was just too hard to keep him from finding out since so many people liked Jenny more than they liked her father.

It spurred another heated argument between them, in front of a large crowd. The things he said to his own daughter, are too horrible to repeat. Those in the cafeteria stood in stunned silence as he slapped her hard enough to knock her down.

The lights in the entire building flickered and dimmed. Jenny looked up as her father struggled to breath as the quad winged iron dragon held him by his throat. "How dare you sssstrike your own daughter..." Nodrog hissed, eyes glowing, with steam coming from his mouth with every word and breath.

It was the first time Jenny had seen fear in her father's eyes. As Sherman, Marko and several security guards ran over, Jenny was just getting on her feet. "Put him down."

"You know the rules." Nodrog hissed.

"I said put him down." Jenny replied and walked over to them. Nodrog growled, but obeyed and dropped her father.

Before her father could say anything, Jenny spit blood on him. "Stay out of my life you piece of shit." Jenny growled and wiped the blood from her mouth. She used his white shirt to wipe the blood off her hand.

Alice and Stacy nervously scampered after Jenny and the completely pissed off dragon. While Roslyn, Samantha and Randy glared down at her father. Jenny let him off easy, they were not in as a forgiving mood. Unfortunately, Marko and Sherman were present with security.

Samantha and Randy went after the other four, leaving Roslyn behind. "If you ever raise your hand to hit that girl again, you better hope Nodrog gets to you first... Why do you keep this pile of shit around?" Roslyn asked after she turned to look at Marko.

"Are you going to at least tell us what happened?" Marko asked.

Roslyn looked back down at Becket. "I will not repeat the vulgar and hateful things he said to his own daughter. To hit her that hard, Nodrog should have torn him limb from limb. Fucking bastard got off to god damned easy."

With that Roslyn turned and left, her appetite completely gone after what he had done. She did smile as she heard Marko tell Sherman to escort him off company grounds. She went up to the girl's apartment, Roslyn liked Jenny and hoped Alice and the others had calmed her down.

"Everything alright?" Roslyn asked as Nodrog came out of the apartment. His anger quelled enough he was back in his normal false form.

"For the moment. You should have called me." Nodrog said with his arms crossed.

"If I had know he was going to hit his daughter, I would have hit him a lot harder first." Roslyn said.

Nodrog chuckled. "You have me there."

Roslyn grabbed his tail as he started off down the hall. "Where are you going?"

"To take care of something." Nodrog said and looked down at her.

"You can't. Anything you do, Jenny and Marko will know it was you." Roslyn said and held fast to his tail. Actually she gave it a tug. "Come on, a little fresh air will help clear your head."

Stacy got up and opened the door when someone knocked on it. "Hey Sherman."

"Is everything okay?" Sherman asked the little lion.

"Nodrog took off to do what, he wouldn't say." Stacy said and opened the door further so he could come in.

Alice and Samantha had a red faced Jenny between them on the couch. He could tell the kitten had been crying since she left the cafeteria. Randy stood in the kitchen with his arms crossed. The pony still looked like he was going to punch something.

Sherman sat cross-legged on the floor, right in front of Jenny. "I have to ask. How are you doing?"

She looked down at him over the pillow she had nearly crushed in her arms. Her usual energetic tail lay limp beside her and her ears laid flat. He looked silly, sitting like that, like an over grown dog. "I've been better..."

"We forcefully removed your father from company grounds after Mr. October fired him. I know that does little to make it right..." Sherman said softly.

"Did you see where Nodrog went?" Alice asked fearing he had gone off to do something bad to Jenny's father.

"Roslyn and him were headed out to the roof to get a little air and clear his head." Sherman said.

"Did I do the right thing in stopping him?" Jenny muttered as she squeezed the pillow even harder.

Sherman looked up at Jenny. "As someone who killed his own father... it is fleeting at best. Our situations have a few similarities, but I cannot give you an answer."

Jenny looked at Alice, the worry on her little mouse's face was very clear. "We should just forget about it." Jenny said quietly and Alice smiled, noticeable relieved.

"Should we check on Nodrog?" Samantha asked.

"Yeah, I could use a little air myself." Jenny said.

They found Nodrog leaning on the east railing, looking out to the sea.

"Where is Roslyn?" Stacy asked.

Nodrog pointed up, Roslyn was flying a dozen feet above them. She was rather happy as she circled around landing on the roof lightly next to Jenny. Jenny blushed as the otter gave her a bear hug. It made Jenny feel better, however she could tell Nodrog was still fuming over her telling him to stop.

Two weeks after the argument with her father, he was found hanging from a beam in his office at home. An open bottle of scotch on his desk near a hateful note. Marko had asked if Nodrog had done anything to him, and the dragon had not.

Her father committed suicide and Jenny did not shed a single tear.
