#16 of A trainer's story

Blazing Battle - Retribution of Fire

Jake and Ryan finally made it to Eterna City. In order to investigate the city's gym leader before their battles, the two went to Eterna Gym, where Jake once again came across Jackson, Typhlosion's former trainer. What would happen as these two individuals clashed, and how would Typhlosion react when he saw the trainer that had abandoned him?

"It's him..." Jake gruntted, gritting his teeth, "The asshole that abandoned Typhlosion, Jackson!"

"Jackson? You mean the guy we met on our way to Oreburgh City ?" Ryan asked, "What is he doing here?"

"I don't give a damn, but I just can't stand his face." Jake said, stepping forward to confront Jackson, "Hey you, Jackson!"

Jackson spun around as he heard someone calling his name. His lips curled into wicked smile as he stared impassively at Jake and Ryan, "Well well well, if it ain't the two dopes."

"Dopes?" Ryan replied, rolling his eyes at Jackson, "I wonder who got his ass kicked the last time we met?

"Shut your mouth!" Jackson snarled, "That match was nothing but a fluke. I only lost because you got lucky." He paused for a second, then smiled evilly again, "But come to think of it, I owe you one...Thank you, for making me realize how useless that sorry-excuse of a Typhlosion was, heheheh. Getting rid of that piece of trash was the best thing I've ever done!"

"You bastard!" Jake said loudly, his hands clenched into fists as he struggled to stay calm. However, just when Jake thought he could no longer subside the ugre to punch the crap out of Jackson, the trainer noticed a strange vibration from his belt. What happened next surprised him even more. Out of the blue, one of his pokeball opened by its own, from which came a 'certain' fire pokemon.

"Typhlosion!" Jake exclaimed, "How did you come out by yourself?"

"What do we have here?" Jackson said, clearly amused by the sudden arrival of his used-to-be ace pokemon. He looked at Jake and smirked, "Heh, don't tell me that you actually let this pathetic weakling join you. Are you insane or something? Having this piece of trash in your team will only result in defeat. Trush me, get rid of him, or you will regret it someday."

Jake gulped nervously. The trainer was obviously enraged by Jackson's words, but now he had to pay more attention to Typhlosion. Even from his position, Jake could tell those words of Jackson hurt Typhlosion's feelings like hell, and he worried that the volcano pokemon might lose his temper and do something dangerous.

But no. Typhlosion just stood there, staring at his former trainer. There was no hatred or anger in the pokemon eyes, but only sadness and disappointment. At the same time, Jake could hear a deep grumblings coming from Typhlosion's throat, almost like he was crying, but couldn't bring himself to shred tears in front of his trainer.

The tension kept rising. They just stood there, trainer, pokemon and former trainer, staring at each other. Even Ryan didn't know what to do.

The sticky situation would have last forever if it hadn't been for a sudden voice breaking the silence, "Hey, what are you guys doing? You're blocking the entry."

"That voice...don't tell me..." Jake thought, and turned to the source of the voice. The instantly grimmaced as he saw a familiar figure - A person Jake had come to respect, but also consider his biggest target - Jaden.

"Jaden?" Ryan gasped as he saw the former champion, "Wh-why are you here?"

"Obviously I'm here for a gym battle, and I've already won." Jaden shrugged, "But forget about that. Mind telling me what's going on?"

"Well. The thing is..." Ryan began, but before he could go on any further, Jake had already spoken, "I'm fed up with your attitude, Jackson. If you have the guts, let's settle this one and for all, in a battle. Six a.m tomorrow, right here at Eterna Gym, 1-on-1. I will be going with Typhlosion, and if we win, you'll have to apologize for making fun of us."

"Hah, that's fine for me." Jackson smirked, "But if I win, you will get down on your knees and admit that I was right, then get rid of this useless runt right after the battle. What do ya say?"

Everyone was shocked when they heard Jackson's conditions, especially Typhlosion as he gulped and looked at Jake, waiting for the trainer's answer, and he was beyond surprise when Jake nodded almost instantly, "You got it. But don't get cocky, because we'll kick your ass!"

"Keep your words soft and sweet, cuz you may have to eat them, hahahah!" Jackson laughed. He glanced at Typhlosion and smirked, "See ya tomorrow."

...

"Okay now I'm really curious." Jaden said, "What's going on between you and that guy?"

"None of your business. C'mon Typhlosion, we are going back to the Pokemon Center." Jake grumbled and motioned the volcano pokemon to follow him.

"Jake, wait! What about the gym leader? We haven't seen anything..." Ryan called, but Jake seemed to ignore him, "Forget 'bout it! I'm not in the mood today."

Ryan was about to follow Jake, but Jaden grabbed the young trainer's shoulder to stop him, "Just leave him alone. Now let's go to some place else to talk. Would you mind telling me everything about those two?"

Ryan nodded. They soon found a small coffee shop, where Ryan proceeded to tell Jaden about their encouter with Jackson.

"Despicable." said Jaden, "Not only did he blame Typhlosion for his lost when clearly it was his fault, but he even went as far as to insult and abandon the poor thing."

"Indeed." Ryan said, sipping his coffee, "But I think that might be better for Typhlosion, rather than having him stay with Jackson. Typhlosion is a fierce and loyal pokemon, but what would happens if he finds out Jackson thinks of him as nothing more than a tool?"

"You are really insightful, Ryan. Jake is really lucky to have you as a companion." Jaden chuckled, making Ryan blush a little, "By the way, do you still have the stones and gloves that I gave you yesterday?"

"Yes, but please tell me how to use them...or at least what they are?"

"Those stones ain't like anything you have seen before. They are not evolutionary stones. How to use them, well like I said before, you have to figure out by yourself." Jaden winked playfully as he stood up, "Alright, I'm going back to Eterna Gym. I'll ask the gym leader for permission to let you guys use the battle field. Oh, and I'll also be the referee for the match, in case things go out of control."

"Please do. I can't find anyone better then you." Ryan smiled.

(At the Pokemon Center)

Jake didn't return Typhlosion to his pokeball.

He wanted to spend the night talking with the pokemon. Typhlosion seemed really down after seeing his old trainer again, and to make it even worse, Jackson still continued to insult him and Jake. Now things had gotten this far, Typhlosion had no choice but to battle Jackson. If it was for Jake, then the volcano pokemon would not hesitate.

Yet...the thought of having to battle Jackson, a person that he used to consider as friend, still upset Typhlosion. He did nothing but laid on the bed the whole day, looking out the window as memories of the days when he had been with Jackson stormed the pokemon's mind.

...

Jake leaned against the wall and looking at a pokeball in his hand. After the incident with Jackson, he still hadn't released Lucario.

"I'm sorry, Lucario, but Typhlosion needs me, so you have to stay in here for tonight...just one night. I'll make up for you tomorrow."

Quietly, the trainer opened the door and walked into his room. He grimanced at the sight of Typhlosion laying motionlessly, almost livelessly on the bed. Where had the playful, energetic Typhlosion gone? If things kept going on like this, Jake worried that he might lose to Jackson before they even started the battle.

"Typhlosion..." Jake called softly, "Are you hungry? I brought some pokechow here..."

The pokemon shifted uncomfortably and turned around. His ears flatten against his head as he saw Jake, who was looking at him with care and affection.

"Thank you Jake, but I'm not hungry. Just leave the food there, I'll eat when I want to..." Typhlosion said, then turned around again. His voice was barely louder than a whisper.

The trainer sighed tiredly and walked over to Typhlosion. He sat down on the bed, next to the pokemon and placed his hand on Typhlosion's head, gently stroking him, "I'm sorry. It was all my fault that you got stuck in this mess. I shouldn't have challenged Jackson, right?"

"No...please don't say that person's name..." Typhlosion mumbled, a tear escaped from the corner of his eyes and rolled down his cheek, "I'm not mad. I don't blame you for what happened, because I know we have to settle things with Jack-...with him, sooner or later."

Jake sighed in relief, feeling glad to know that Typhlosion didn't blame him, "But then...what's bothering you?"

"Nothing, I..."

"If anything troubles you, just tell me, and I'll do everything I can to help you." Jake insisted.

"Then tell me... why did you accept those terrible conditions? Do you know what will happen if I lose tomorrow?" Typhlosion snapped, turning around to look directly into his trainer's eyes.

"That...was the most stupid question I've ever heard." Jake chuckled, "It's simple. Because I am your trainer. Just like you, Lucario and Luxray, always battle for my sake, I will do anything for you. That's the way it goes."

"But why do you have to risk your own pride for me? I'm just a pokemon, a pokemon that was disowned by its trainer. I don't worth it."

"Who said you don't?" the trainer smiled, "You aren't not just a pokemon or tool. You are my friend, and nothing is too much when it comes to help a friend, right?"

Typhlosion stayed silence, letting his mind absord every of Jake's words. His facial expression went through several changes: Anxiety, consideration and finally determination.

(Typhlosion's flashback, a few days ago)

After one grueling hour of training to prepare for Ryan's gym battle, the gang decided to have a short break. Typhlosion sat on a boulder, looking at Jake as he tried to figure out a way to claim the trainer before Lucario.

"Hey Typhlosion," Luxray called as he slowly approached the volcano pokemin, "Can we have a talk?"

"Talk?" Typhlosion grumbled, eyeing Luxray suspiciously. He and Luxray had never been close friends, and they rarely, if not never, talked to each other. Why did Luxray want to start a conversation all of a sudden, "What do you want to talk about?"

"Uhm, how should I put it...recently, I notice some relationship issues between you, Lucario and Jake, so I think you might want some help."

"Relationship issues?" Typhlosion frowned, "What the fuck are you talking about?"

"Since you asked so nicely..." Luxray shrugged. Typhlosion's rude way of speaking didn't seem no annoy the pokemon, but instead amused him even more, "Well, we both know that Jake and Lucario are...mates, but there's one more thing I know: You're also in love with Jake, and it seems that you and Lucario are fighting over him...right?"

"Don't fuck around with me!" Typhlosion growled, but only made Luxray giggle to himself as the gleam eyes pokemon casted him an evil look, "Yeah yeah whatever. You're just embarassed because I know the true, but let me tell you this: There's no need to hide it from me anymore. I heard everything you and Jake said that day..."

Typhlosion's ears dropped as he admitted his defeat, "Fine...I lose, but what can you do to help me?"

"Well, remember what Jake told you that day, express your feelings by actions. He and Lucario may be lovers, but it doesn't mean you don't have a chance. Utilize every opportunity possible, get closer to Jake, but don't walk to him and say something like 'I love you'...no, those are just fancy words. You have to actually do something...something that would leave Jake with no choice, but to bond with you forever."

"You mean..." Typhlosion stammered, and blushed when he figured out what Luxray was implying.

"Yup!" Luxray nodded, chuckling, "But don't be too rough. I'm pretty sure Jake prefers a kind and gentle mate, and I have a hunch Lucario is playing that role very well."

(End of flashback)

Typhlosion looked at Jake, then started to slowly move closer to the trainer. At first, Jake didn't notice it, but the trainer started to fell uncomfortable as Typhlosion kept getting closer to him.

"Typhlosion...what are you doing?" Jake shuttered, panting as he realized his face was just barely inches apart from the pokemon's.

"Tell me, Jake...have you and Lucario mated?"

"WHAT?" the trainer exclaimed, blushing furiously, "How...how on earth did you know?"

"I'm a pokemon, and my sense of smell is much sharper than that of a human." Typhlosion replied, "Ever since the day Lucario had the battle with Charizard, I can always smell your scent on his body, and I know you've marked him."

"B-but if you already knew, then why asking me now?" Jake stammered as he tried to move back, but there was nowhere to go.

"Because I want to know..." Typhlosion said and placed his hand on Jake's chest, feeling the trainer's heartbeats, "If there is any room left for me, in here."

Not giving Jake the chance to answer, Typhlosion caught the trainer by surprise as he leaned forward and pressed his lips against Jake's. A muffled sound of disapproval escaped Jake's lips as he tried desperately to push Typhlosion away but with no avail, and the trainer was left with no choice but to let the pokemon have his way with him.

The fire pokemon growled softly in satisfaction as his pent-up affection for Jake was finally unleashed and poured into the kiss. He didn't even care if Jake just laid there and didn't return the favour. He wanted to enjoy this moment, the moment he had longed for.

Jake's face was getting very hot from Typhlosion's breaths. The trainer knew he wasn't supposed to enjoy this, but his body had already succumbed to the pleasure, as he moaned softly when Typhlosion's tongue pushed pass his lips and explored his mouth, licking every corner inside and collecting every drop of his saliva in a greedy manner.

Jake started to lose senses as he dazed in Typhlosion's irresitable, lusty passion, until he felt something rub against his crotch, forcing him to yank his mouth away from Typhlosion's and gasp loudly. Looking between their bodies, Jake's eyes widened when he realized that his jeans had already been removed (don't ask me when or how, because I don't know), a bulge had already formed in the middle of his pants, which Typhlosion was rubbing.

"Please stop! I'm begging you."

"Why? We both know you're enjoying this." Typhlosion said, smiling lewdly as he pulled Jake's boxers down, unveiling the young trainer's growing erection, with a few drops of pre leaking from the tips, "Look at this...holding back ain't good for your health, ya know."

"No..." Jake whimpered, but moans soon escaped from his mouth as Typhlosion wrapped his warm hand around his shaft and started stroking it. The soft fur pressed and rubbed against his shaft gave the trainer an intense sensation, soon bring him to his full stiffness. His cock twitch softly and smear more pre into the pokemon's hand.

Typhlosion paused and licked his hand. The pokemon murred softly as he enjoyed the first taste of his love's precum. It would not be a lie if Typhlosion stated that it was the most delicious thing he had ever tasted in his live. The flavour was amazing, salty, yet totally intoxicating. It made Typhlosion even hornier as he could not wait to drink more of the delicious fluid.

"And you still want me to stop, look at how stiff you've become." Typhlosion teased as he ran his finger along the shaft, making Jake blush in embarassment. Slowly, the pokemon leaned backwards, until he was facing his trainer's throbbing cock, "Hope you don't mind if I have...a closer look."

"Closer what?...Oh my god!" Jake gasped as Typhlosion's tongue slid all the way down from the shaft to the tip. The pokemon circled Jake's phallus, savouring his pre again, before wraooing his tongue around the needy length. Jake shivered in delight, but at the same time, the trainer knew he had let Typhlosion go too far, and they should end this madness right now. The problem was, he didn't know how to do it. Jake could just kick Typhlosion away, but he couldn't do such a thing.

Typhlosion, meanwhile, was enjoying every second of it. The pokemon knew not only was he pleasing himself, but his trainer, his love as well. The taste of Jake's hot, twitching erection in his mouth was absolutely amazing, and the sensation of having such an intimate and sexual thing in his mouth made Typhlosion's head spin with joy. But the pokemon knew he still had a lot to do than just licking Jake for all night.

Jake panted heavily. He was so dizzy that he could barely realize what was going on, but the pleasure was real. The trainer looked down, and through his blurred vision, he could see his cock disappeared into Typhlosion's maw then appeared again as the pokemon rapidly bobbed his head up and down, coating every inch of that tasty cock with his slick saliva. The pleasure was then taken to another level when the pokemon arched his neck and took Jake's entire length, making the trainer groan as he felt his cock delve into Typhlosion's warm throat.

And just when the trainer thought it couldn't get any better Typhlosion's still had a few tricks off his sleeve. Still massaging the cock with his tongue, he trailed his hand down and groped the trainer's ball sacs, eagerly fondling them, adding more pleasure to the treatment Jake was receiving. But Typhlosion's true target was only revealed when he lowered his hand even further and started rubbing Jake's twitching anal entrance. Jake's reaction was immediate. He gasped out loud as his ass was stimulated, but at the same time, the trainer dreadfully realized what Typhlosion was about to do.

"No...Typhlosion, please don't! I'm not ready for this." Jake pleaded, tears came out from the corner of his eyes and streamed down his cheeks.

The pokemon fliched as he saw Jake's shred tears. Sure he was extremely disappointed when Jake refused to let him take over, but at the same time, Typhlosion also remembered what Luxray had warned him. If he insisted to continue, his bond with Jake would be shattered permanently.

Still, there was no way Typhlosion would let such a chance slip by. Letting go of the hot rod in his maw, the pokemon crawled onto Jake and grabbed the trainer, softly pinning him down, "Fine, since that's what you want. But if I can't have you today, then I want you...to have me?"

"What?" Jake mumbled, trying to figure out what Typhlosion was schelming, until he felt the tip of his cock come in contact with a twitching, hot ring of flesh.

"Don't do it, Typhlosion..." Jake stammered, gasping as his cock slid even further into the pokemon's warm tunnel of flesh, "If you do this now, there will be no turning back."

"That..." Typhlosion responded, wincing in pain as his virgin ass got penetrated for the first time, "...is exactly how I wanted it to be!"

Eventually, Typhlosion managed to get all of Jake's cock inside him as his rump laid on the trainer's groin. Having never had anything up his ass before, Typhlosion found the new sensation absolutely amazing. Sure there was a little pain at first, but the warmth and fullness were beyond words. Thus, the feeling of being able to connect with the one he loved made Typhlosion's heart soar with joy.

The pokemon was still a little dazed after his first penetration when suddenly, two hands wrapped around his neck and pulled him down to Jake. Their lips sealed together once again, but this time, it was Jake who dominated as Typhlosion was too shocked to do anything.

"Haah..." Jake panted out as he broke the kiss. The trainer's facial expression proved that he had completely succumbed to his lust, "I'm really doing this...Lucario, I'm sorry for being an unfaithful asshole, but I just can't hold back anymore. Alright, Typhlosion, if you want to be fucked so badly, so be it!"

Immediately, Jake gripped Typhlosion's hips with both of his hands and life the pokemon up, only to slam his cock back in when he was midway, resulted in a deep moan from both parties. Typhlosion gasped as the hot member invaded his rear again, triggering the satisfying sensation of being filled with warmth yet again.

It wasn't long before Jake picked up the speed a little, now mating with Typhlosion in a steady pace. In and out he went, pounding that ass with pure lust and eagerness, feeling the soft, warm flesh and the amazing anal muscles squeeze his cock and caress it, each time taking him to another level of pleasure.

But Jake wasn't the only one who got to enjoy himself. Typhlosion was also in ecstacy. He had wanted nothing more than this, being able to connect with Jake in the most passionate, intimate way, ever since the moment he realized his feelings for the kind-hearted young man. The pulsing cock seemed get deeper and deeper inside Typhlosion everytime Jake pounded his tailhole, sending sparks of pleasure down his spine as it jabbed his prostate.

Typhlsion was treated even more when Jake began to pound his virgin rear with extreme vigor, pluging him repeatedly with his shaft. Taking his time, Jake withdrew further than usual, before thrusting in with all of his might, hilting himself even deeper inside the pokemon. Typhlosion gasped in pain, but soon it turned into incredible pleasure as the hot rod slid along and caressed his anal walls. The pokemon wondered how much longer he could last with such an amazing stimulation.

Indeed, it wasn't long before they felt the rapid building of their orgasms, as the intense mating pushed both human and pokemon over the edge.

"Ready, Typhlosion?" Jake shuttered, gasping for air, "You wished to be marked with my seed, well here it comes. Make sure to take every last drop!"

Typhlosion was panting so heavily that he couldn't say anything. His only respond was a nodded, but his face expression told the entire story, as he waited in anticipation to be bred by his master.

Grunting, Jake thrust into Typhlosion as hard as he could, his balls slapped against the pokemon's rump as he came. Warm, creamy jet of semen erupting into Typhlosion's ass and flooded his bowels, panting every corner of that love tunnel with the trainer's essence.

As Typhlosion savored the blissful moment of being marked by Jake, his own orgasm struck. Trembling violently, Typhlosion emptied the contain of his balls as he shot jet after jet of hot, steamy pokemon seed onto Jake' chest.

"Guess now we're stuck together." The pokemon said between deep breaths. He looked into Jake's eyes, "I know it was wrong, and you have the right hate me, loathe me, but please, at least understand one thing: I love you. I don't want to be parted from you. I don't want to lose you to Lucario or anyone else..."

"To be honest...I'm still a little angry," Jake replied, making Typhlosion gulp nervously as he prepared for the worst. However, the trainer only smailed warmly as he stroked the pokemon's cheeks, "But...Oh well, what's done can't be undone, and I really, really can't bring myself to hate you. But now that we've gone this far, you have to make sure that tomorrow, losing is not an option. And there's still another problem. How am I supposed to explain this to Lucario?"

"What? You really want to tell him about what happened tonight?"

"I'm sorry, but I don't want to hide anything from him." Jake responded, slightly shaking his head, "Beside, if what you said earlier is true, then Lucario will eventually smell my scent on your body. If that is the case, I think it's better to tell him before he finds out. Now, you need to get some sleep. We've got a score to settle tomorrow."

Typhlosion nodded, reclutantly. He laid down on top of Jake with the trainer's cock still hilted inside his body. Closing his eyes, Typhlosion eventually fell asleep in Jake's loving embrace.

(The next morning)

Typhlosion slowly opened his eyes as a tide of warmth washed over his body. The pleasant feeling not only came from the morning sunlight, but also from a person that was sitting next to him and stroking his cheeks gently. The pokemon tried to focus his vision, and the image of a smiling handsome young man appeared in front of him. Looking into Jake's blue eyes, Typhlosion blushed when he recalled what had happened the night before.

"Good morning...Did you sleep well?" Jake asked softly, to which the pokemon replied by a nod, "Alright, let's go to the gym and kick some asses."

Slipping on his usual clothes, Jake returned Typhlosion to the pokeball and made his way out of the pokemon center. He was greeted Ryan at the center's entrance and they walked to the gym together.

Fifteen minutes later, the duo arrived at Eterna Gym. Jake frowned as he saw Jackson standing at the entry, waiting for him with a vicious smirk on his face as if he had the battle won. But at the same time, it also reminded Jake of how badly he wanted to beat the crap out of Jackson and whip that arrogant smirk off his face.

"Ready to lose?" Jackson taunted, "I hope you enjoyed your last day with that useless Typhlosion."

"No, but come to think of it, I am ready to give you an ass-whooping and the most painful lost of your life. Typhlosion is not going anywhere. He will stay with me forever, you heard that?" Jake responded, "Let's do it."

...

Jake knew he had to focus for his battle, but the trainer couldn't help but gasped in surprise when he walked inside Eterna Gym. For a gym, this was the _least_gym-looking place Jake had ever seen. It looked more like a large indoor garden, and Jake could notice many grass-type pokemon live here. Unlike other gyms, Eterna Gym had no battlefield whatsoever. Instead, there an clean area in the middle of the gym which seemed to be used as the battlefield.

"Yo!" Jaden called from the other end of the gym, "You guys are late!"

"You again?" Jake frowned, "What in the world are you doing here?"

"What, you don't know? Ryan...don't tell me you forgot to tell him about this."

"Oops, my bad." Ryan said as he rubbed the back of his head awkwardly, blushing in embarassment, "Uhm, you see, yesterday, Jaden told be that he would be the referee for this match between you and Jackson. He also asked the gym leader for permission, so you can freely use the gym today."

"Yup." Jaden nodded, smiling, "You are lucky that the gym leader, Gardenia, happens to be busy today. Now, are you two ready for battle?"

"How on just a second..."Jackson said, rolling his eyes at Jaden, "Are you tellin' me this idiot will be the referee? How do I know if you don't collude with each other?"

"Oh, trust me when I tell you." Jaden responded. The smile still presented on his face, but his voice was cold and threatening, "This idiot favours nobody when it comes to battle. And if you still don't trust me, then we can always settle this with battle, cuz I don't back down from any challenges."

Jackson shivered and gritted his teeth. Normally, the arrogant trainer wouldn't let anyone get on his nerves and get away easily, but Jaden was a different case. Something about Jaden told Jackson that he couldn't do anything to that guy, no matter how annoyed he was. That guy, Jaden...he was the real deal!

"Alright, if no one gonna complain." Jaden continued, "Then let's the battle begin."

"It's now or never." Jake mumbled as he looked at Typhlosion's pokeball in his hand, "Fight with me, Typhlosion."

He threw the ball onto the battlefield, and it opened in the middle of the air, from which came a fire pokemon. Typhlosion looked at Jackson, his eyes showing the last bit of respect for his former trainer, before letting out a thunderous roar, the fire collar on his neck lit up fiercely.

"Good to see you again, pal." Jackson mocked with a smirk as he tossed a pokeball up and down, "And this time, it gonna be the last. Come out, Swampert!"

Jackson mimicked Jake, throwing the pokeball onto the field. It opened, and a red flash of light burst. When the light died down, a pokemon appeared, one that Jake had never seen before.

"What the heck is that?" Jake muttered as he pulled out his pokedex.

"A Swampert!" Jaden and Ryan exclaimed at the same time, not taking their eyes off the new pokemon.

Swampert, the Mud Fish Pokemon. Swampert is very powerful, and it can track even a large ship as well as inflict critical damage to its enemies with one blow.

"This is bad, Ryan." Jaden said, "You do realize that Typhlosion is weak against water-type pokemon, right? Beside..."

"Beside, Typhlosion is Jackson's old pokemon, which means Jackson perperly knews all of his moves." Ryan added, "It would take a miracle for Jake to survive and win this battle."

"Nothing is impossible, Ryan," Jaden said, "But still...let's see how Jake will handle this. Alright, since Jackson's pokemon has a type advantage, Jake will have the first move. Begin!"

"Ready, Typhlosion? Use flamethrower!"

The fire on Typhlosion's neck lit up as he fired a stream of red-orange at Swampert, who apparently, didn't want to dodge at all.

"Swampert, intercept it with muddy water!"

The mud fish pokemon inhaled deeply, before opening its mouth and release a stream of brown water, which soon collided with Typhlosion's flamethrower, neutraziling it into steam in the process. But there was more to come. As the water completely vaporized, it left behind a layer of thick, brown matter, blocking both Typhlosion's and Jake's vision.

"What is that stuff?" Jake shuttered, "It looks like...dried mud?"

"Exactly. That's why the attack is called 'muddy water'. Not only can it deal physical damage, but it can also block the opponents' vision and lower their accuracy." Jackson explained with a smug grin.

"But then...isn't your Swampert affected too?"

"You're such a fool. Swampert is a mud fish pokemon, of course its vision has to be strong enough to see through mud. Now why don't we show you? Swampert, use mud shoot!"

Jake gulped as he and Typhlosion tried to locate Swampert's attack, but the thick wall of mud had completely rendered their eyes useless. Taking the chance, the mud fish pokemon suddenly emerged from Typhlosion's left side. Opening his mouth, Swampert fired a huge ball of mud at Typhlosion, who was completely defenseless as he was caught by surprise.

The attack hit Typhlosion right on the middle of his chest, making him yelp in pain and fail backwards a few steps. As Typhlosion panted heavily to regain the air that was knocked out from his lung, he tried to focus his vision to locate where Swampert had just attacked him from, but the mud fish pokemon had disappeared quickly into his mud camoflage again.

"Arggg!!!" Jake growled in frustration, "How can we attack something if we can't even see it? We have to get rid of that mud first. Typhlosion, use ember to clean all the mud!"

The volcano pokemon obliged as he fired several bolts of fire at the wall of mud. The fire, indeed, completely decimated the wall, but the situation turned out to become even worse for Jake. As the mud completely dried, the wall made from it collasped and now, the whole battlefield is covered in a huge cloud of dirt.

Jackson grinned smugly as he noticed the situation had favoured him, "Ahh, look at what we have here. You're trying to lose, aren't you? Well then, I'll be more than happy to grant you that wish. Swampert, finish the match with take down!"

As Swampert received its master command, the pokemon runned towards Typhlosion with its full speed. The volcano pokemon didn't know what to do as he stood in the middle of the dirt cloud, looking around frantically for any sight of Swampert, but with no avail. The same went for Jake, as he could only watch hopelessly and wait for the dirt to subside.

When Typhlosion caught a shimmering blur charge at him, it had already been too late. The attack striked Typhlosion as Swampert slammed into him with great force, knocking him backward. The pokemon landed heavily on the ground, the immense pain almost made him pass out.

When the cloud of dirt had finally died down, Jake gasped in horror as he saw Typhlosion lay motionlessly on the ground, next to a standing Swampert, who was looking down menacingly at its battered opponent.

"No, Typhlosion! Don't give up!" Jake shouted desperately across the battlefield, his eyes tearing at the thought of having to part with Typhlosion, "Stand up! Didn't you say that you don't want to leave me?"

Typhlosion was slowly losing his consciousness, but he could still heard every of Jake's words, loud and clear. His mind slowly returned to the days he had been with Jake...and the night when they had become one. He remembered Jake's kindness, his loving smile, his warm voice and his sweet scent. Those memories were so beautiful, so precious to Typhlosion.

He didn't want to lose them. He didn't want to lose Jake...

...

"Hey, stop struggling, you've already lost. Call the match, ref!" Jackson sneered, crossing his arms.

"I-I'm afraid this is it, Jake." Jaden stammered, "The winner of this match is..."

"Wait!" Ryan shouted, "Look at that!"

Everyone turned their eyes to Typhlosion, and they were shocked when the pokemon slowly got on to both his feet. Typhlosion had a dazed look on his face, his body was shaking as if he could collasp anytime, but he was still standing, almost like an invisible force was willing his body.

"How...how on earth did he get up?" Jackson muttered, but it soon turned into a sneer as he looked at Typhlosion with pure disgust, "Damn it! Stay down, you piece of trash! Stay down!"

"I can't lose...I won't lose to you!" Typhlosion roared. Suddenly, the fire on his neck lit up vigorously and growed to a massive size , his eyes turned crimson, his body glowed bright orange as an fierce aura of fire started to form around him.

"W-what is that?" Jackson stammered, taking a step backwards as he felt an immense power radiate from Typhlosion's fire covered form.

"It's Typhlosion's ability, blaze!" Jaden exclaimed, chuckling when he saw Ryan look at him curiously, waiting for an explaination, "Blaze is a special ability that is triggered when a pokemon becomes weak or tired. Blaze will temporally power up all fire-type moves of that pokemon, however, it also lowers the user's defense. If Typhlosion gets hit by another attack, it will be the end for him."

"T-Typhlosion, are you okay? Can you continue?" Jake called softly. Typhlosion slowly turned around and gave his trainer an assuring nod, making Jake smile in relief, "Alright. This will be our final attack. Give them everything you've got!"

"Now, use flame wheel!" Jake ordered.

Nodding, Typhlosion dashed towards Swampert as the fire aura around his body became much bigger and hotter, the heat radiating from it throughout the entire battlefield. He could hear Jackson laugh and order Swampert to use muddy water. He could see the mud fish pokemon open its mouth and fire a jet of brown water at him. But Typhlosion didn't care. His mind was giving him only one order, "Charge forwards, and obliterate the enemy!"

And the unthinkable happened. The attack failed to stop Typhlosion as the volcano pokemon pierced through the jet of water like a fierce arrow and tackled Swampert, slamming its head to the ground, followed by a huge explosion, and a massive cloud of dirt.

When the dirt finally cleared, Typhlosion was showed standing and panting heavily next to Swampert, who was clearly knocked out.

Silence swept over the battlefield, as everyone worked on believing what they had just saw. But no matter how odd it look, the result could not be changed. Typhlosion had won!

Smiling brightly, Jaden pointed his arm at Jake's side as he declared, "Swampert is unable to battle. The winners of this match are Jake and Typhlosion!"
